The article analyzes the dynamics of channel processes in the irrigation pumping station inlet channels. The field studies of hydraulic and alluvial sediment regimes in the supply channels of pumping stations are analyzed and summarized. The studies of supply channel water flow under conditions of extremely high turbidity of the flow and variability of the morphometric characteristics of the channel are presented. The conditions under which the Saint-Venant equations satisfactorily describe the channel flows in the bed of the supply channels are given. Saint-Venant's twodimensional equations were numerically implemented using an explicit finite-difference scheme. In addition, the results of calculations of the flow field in the supply channels are presented. According to the results of numerical studies, the width of the sedimentation tank was taken to be equal to the design width of the channel, and the speed of water flow in it was 0.25 m/s. The length of the sedimentation tank, ensuring the retention of sediments of the finest fraction (0.05 mm in diameter), was 1042 m. The siltation time of the sedimentation tank can be reduced by 15…20% and amount to about 15 months, considering the unevenness of the velocity distribution diagram in the horizontal plane and the trapezoidal crosssection of the clarifier. Nevertheless, the arrangement of two parallel chambers of the sedimentation tanks makes it possible to be stable for a sufficiently long time.

For the solution of engineering problems require increasingly accurate estimates of the hydraulic characteristics of the water streams. To date, it is impossible to consider sufficiently complete theoretical and experimental justification of the main provisions of the theory of turbulence, hydraulic resistance, channel processes. The composition of tasks related to flows in wide channels, turbulence problems are of scientific and practical interest. Various interpretations of the determination of the critical Froude number in wide open water flows based on observations and theoretical transformations are considered. The conditions for the emergence of a critical regime of water flow in an open wide channel are analyzed in order to estimate the critical Froude number and critical depth. Estimates of the critical Froude number for laboratory and field conditions are given. The estimations allow us to consider the proposed approach acceptable for determining the conditions of occurrence of the critical flow regime. The General, physical interpretation of conditions of occurrence of the critical regime of water flow on the basis of phenomenological approach is specified. The results take into account the values of the components of the total specific energy of the section. This shows the estimated calculation. The results obtained theoretically make it possible to compare the above interpretations and determine their applicability, and the results of the analysis can be useful for the estimated calculations of flows in channels and river flows in rigid, undeformable boundaries and with minor channel deformations.

Based on data from the Department of Culture and Tourism of Bandung, Bandung has a legendary street food culinary that is highly favored by culinary enthusiasts who visit this city. Street food culinary is snacks that have been around for a long time with authentic flavors and stories behind, some of popular street food culinary are bandros, combro, colenak, ketan bakar, cireng ​​and others. The rapid development of culinary potential in this city has caused many new street foods that enriches culinary diversity in Bandung so that culinary enthusiasts need an information media contains of information about culinary in this city, especially authentic street food culinary which is starting to be hard to find. Through qualitative methods and data collection techniques by means of field studies such as observation, interviews and questionnaires, it is necessary to design an application-based information media. The final results of this research is user interface design for the media that informs Bandung street food culinary. Inspired by the word kabita which comes from Sundanese means tempted to taste food, was chosen as the name of the application that informs culinary street food in the city of Bandung that aims to facilitate culinary enthusiasts to get that information

During recent herbarium and field studies three names of Rubus sect. Corylifolii ser. Subcanescentes were re-assessed. Rubus macrostemonides was typified with a neotype specimen from Salzburg (Austria), and its identity with R. baruthicus was shown (the previous name has the priority). Its presence at the Austrian locus classicus was confirmed also recently, this locality represents the easternmost occurrence of the species. The name R. holosericeus was (mis)applied for a long time for a widespread taxon occurring southeast of the Alps that is not at all present in the original material. This name was lectotypified with a specimen from Styria (Austria) here as a hitherto overlooked regional species recently recorded in Austria, Hungary and Slovenia. The taxon that was formerly (mis)identified as R. holosericeus has proven to be identical to R. semitomentosus, which is lectotypified here with a specimen from Hungary. For both taxa clarified here is, beside a circumstantial assessment of the type material, an improved morphological characterization and circumscription of distribution and habitats presented.

The hydrological environment must be understood before water flow can be adequately controlled to prevent slope failure without impacting unduly on the hydrological mountain slope environment. We conducted field studies to determine current sites and measurement of ground temperature 1 meter deep to clarify groundwater flow passageways on the slope behind the cultural heritage temple Kiyomizudera in Kyoto. Results showed anomalous temperature 1 meter deep bands on the slope and several springs that are extensions of these bands. Several of these bands coincide with terrain deformations such as gullies and slope failure scars indicating the probability of relationships between groundwater flow and topological deformation.

Long-term field studies of contemporary pingo growth, collapse, and rampart formation along the western Arctic coast of Canada provide criteria that may be helpful in the identification of pingo ramparts in nonpermafrost environments. Such criteria include the volume of the ramparts, which should approximate that of the enclosed depressions from which the rampart materials were derived; peripheral deposits associated with mass wasting, streamflow, and debris flow; casts of dilation crack ice trending across the ramparts; and high-angle peripheral normal faults. The conventional method of correlating the present mean annual air temperature with the present pingo distribution to establish warm-side limiting temperatures for paleoclimatic reconstruction is unsound, because most pingos in North America and the Soviet Union commenced growth hundreds to thousands of years ago under mean annual air temperatures that may have differed greatly from those of the present. Some other factors to be considered in paleoclimatic reconstruction are the thermal offset; site availability; the differing requirements for the growth of large pingos as compared with small pingos; and the long time required for pingos to grow to full size.

The navigational systems of different animal species are by a wide margin less notable as compared to birds. Humans have been interested in how migratory birds discover their way more than thousands of miles for quite a long time. This review summarizes the cues and compass mechanisms applied in orientation and navigation by non-migrants, diurnal and nocturnal migrants. The magnetic compass, landmarks, olfactory, and memory of spatial cues en route were utilized in homing and migration. The equivalent is valid for the sun compass despite the fact that its job during migration might be undeniably less significant than commonly presumed. Stellar compass and celestial rotation, as a result of their nighttime accessibility, appear to influence the direction of nighttime migrants during the course of migration. The celestial cues go through notable changes because of the latitude shift during bird migration. Sunset cues alter their location with seasons and latitudes. The recognizable stars lose height and lastly vanish underneath the horizon, whereas new stars show up. These new ones must be calibrated. As celestial rotation not imparting a reference, it is not unexpected that the magnetic compass turns into the main cue that controls the directional importance of stars and sunset cues. Field studies have revealed that, in certain species, a considerable extent of individuals get back to similar breeding, overwintering, and stopover areas in progressive years. This review proposes that migratory birds have advanced uncommon cognitive capacities that empower them to achieve these accomplishments.

<p><strong>Abstract</strong><br /><br />Murabahah contract is one of the products of Islamic banks before 1 April 2010 subject to twice the value-added tax. Problems of double taxation is imposed on Islamic banks actually issue a very long time, and this bustling discussed tax due to be paid twice to the director general of a larger tax. By this provisions, the sharia will be assumed less competitive with conventional bank financing primarily to the product. After government legislation latest VAT No. 42 of 2010, murabahah is not longer subject to twice. Investigators therefore conducted an analyze on the treatment of KCS Bank BTN Shariah Malang. This research is using research of qualitative in descriptive approach, which describes a situation systematically. The data uses both the primary and secondary data, field studies with research techniques are interview and documentation. The results showed that the Bank BTN Shariah Malang KCS on contract murabahah charged once before and after running of the No. 42 of 2009 rule.</p><p><strong>Abstrak</strong><br /><br />Akad murabahah merupakan salah satu produk dari bank syariah yang sebelum 1 April 2010 dikenakan dua kali pajak pertambahan nilai. Permasalahan pajak berganda yang dikenakan kepada bank syariah sebenarnya sudah isu yang sangat lama, dan saat ini kembali ramai diberdebatkan lantaran pajak yang harus dibayarkan kepada dirjen pajak lebih besar. Dengan ketentuan yang seperti ini, pihak syariah akan menganggap kalah saing dengan bank konvensional denan produk pembiayaannya. Setelah pemerintah undang-uundang PPN terbaru no 42 tahun 2010, akad murabahah tidak lagi dikenakan dua kali PPN. Oleh karena itu peneliti melakukan analisis perlakuan PPN pada Bank BTN Syariah KCS Malang. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuaitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, yaitu menjabarkan suatu situasi secara sistematis. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan skunder, dengan teknik penelitian studi lapangan yaitu wawancara dandokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Bank BTN Syariah KCS Malang atas akad murabahahnya dikenakan satu kali PPN sebelum dan sesudah UU no 42 tahun 2009.</p>

Abstract Concrete structures affected for a long time by flowing liquids are exposed to gradual erosion in surface layers caused by a combination of several degradation processes: abrasion, cavitation and chemical or bacterial impacts. Due to the complex phenomena and difficult-to-define initial and boundary conditions, the whole process cannot be easily simulated using the conventional computing tools. Laboratory experimental research is thus the most appropriate approach for the investigation of a suitable composition of concrete resistant to the flowing liquids. However, the methods used are often very time consuming and last even several years. High-speed water flows can be elegantly used for the acceleration of the mechanical simulation of a real situation. Several experiments on the effects of the high-speed water flows on concrete surfaces have been carried out. Using the X-Ray CT methods, subsurface structures of concretes exposed to the accelerated mechanical simulation of the erosion wear caused by fast flowing liquids were investigated and presented in the article. It has been shown that the simulation does not cause initiation of new fractures or cracks in the original concrete structure. The pure water flow mainly removes the hardened cement paste and reveals the aggregate grains. The water flow with abrasive particles disintegrates in greater depths and washes out entire aggregate grains, eventually amputates them and finally smoothens entire surface.

The concentration of suspended solids is the main indicator of the flow transporting suspended sediments. Knowing its value, it becomes possible to predict channel processes on rivers, the timing of sedimentation tanks and reservoirs. Establishing patterns of the influence of structures on the redistribution of liquid and solid runoff is also a priority task. The main goal of this work is to establish the regularities of the distribution of the concentration of suspended matter in a stream constrained by a transverse spur. The problem is considered for the second time using materials from field studies conducted on spur No. 19 in 2020 on the left bank of the Amu Darya river. The methodology of field studies remained the same as for the first time on dam No. 30 in 2019. The positions of the sections and verticals during sampling to determine the concentration of suspended matter were assigned based on the hydraulic structure of the constrained flow. Considering the presence of homogeneous zones of a weakly perturbed core, intense turbulent mixing and reverse currents, as is customary in the theory of turbulent jets with an admixture propagating in a confined space. On verticals, samples were taken at two points 0.2H and 0.8H, and at shallow depths at a depth of 0.6H. Field observations established that in the zone of the slightly disturbed core of the distribution of the concentration of suspended matter along the depth, it has the shape of a “boot”; however, the length of the toe is much shorter than that of the dam 30 and is observed only in the sections P-P and O-O, and in the other sections there is a leveling in depth. On other sections, they are close to logarithmic. The maximum concentration of suspended matter was observed in the section of confinement O-O at point 0.8H 7.66 kg / m3, which in the section of confinement under the influence of a new spur occurs deep and lateral erosion of the channel. The distribution in plan in the zone of a weakly disturbed core is close to uniform. Here again, in the zone of intense turbulent mixing, it obeys the theoretical Schlichting-Abramovich dependence for the initial section. With the help of the results obtained, it is possible to predict the siltation of the inter-dam space and the boundaries of the new coastline in the future.


<em>Abstract.</em>—Wood has been falling into rivers for millions of years, resulting in both local effects on channel processes and integrated influences on channel form and dynamics over a wide range of spatial and temporal scales. Effects of stable pieces of wood on local channel hydraulics and sediment transport can influence rates of bank erosion, create pools, or initiate sediment deposition and bar formation. At larger spatial scales, changes in the supply of large wood can trigger changes in both river-reach morphology and the interaction between a river and its floodplain. Over long time scales, wood-rich rivers may retain more sediment and have lower sediment transport rates and steeper slopes than comparable wood-poor channels. Most geomorphic effects of wood in rivers arise from large, stable logs that catalyze changes in the routing and storage of both smaller wood and sediment. The size of a log relative to the channel provides a reasonable gauge of the potential stability of in-channel wood. Channels with a high supply of large, potentially stable wood may experience substantial vertical variability in bed elevation independent from external forcing (e.g., climate variability, temporal variations in sediment supply, or tectonic activity). In some river systems, changes in the wood regime, as described by the size and amount of wood supplied to a river, can result in effects as great as those arising from changes in the sediment supply or the discharge regimes. Consequently, an understanding of the geomorphic effects of wood is crucial for assessing the condition and potential response of forest channels.
