The authors of the article believe that it is important to study the deep essence of the writer’s works in order to understand the period of time that he depicts. D.I. Stakheyev contributed to the development of the genres of sketch and short story as he discussed new subjects and ideas through studying the life of the Russian province. In addition, the value of his works is that they touch upon a wide range of universal problems that are of great importance in our time. The article gives a broader idea of “small” forms of literary works in Russia in the mid-19th century. The interpretation of the images of the provincial merchants created by Stakheyev, the Russian writer of the second half of the 19 century, is of scientific interest to us. To understand the nature of provincial merchants Stakheyev goes his own way: he shows the essence of the merchant class through the problems of fathers and children, of crime and punishment, and of the “golden calf” influence on everyday life. The provincial town, marketplace, forest trade are elements depicting a long-established patriarchal world that is far from civilization and not affected by European style of life. The article was written to be used in the educational process. Studying the works of D.I. Stakheev within the framework of additional education, teachers and students of a modern school can discover pages of Russian literature, that were unknown for them, realize the moral problems that were faced by the previous generations.

Changes in the social and educational situation in the country actualized the development of subject-oriented models of pedagogical support for students, the search for effective ways to solve the aggravated problem of creating conditions for students' self-development. In modern school curricula, as well as in the system of additional education, there are practically no special classes on the construction and implementation of self-development projects by adolescents. The article proposes a model of pedagogical support for the self-development of adolescents in additional education, methodologically based on a reflective-value approach developed in the framework of the scientific school of M.I. Rozhkov, and technology-based on the development by adolescents of individual routes of self-development. The presented model can be considered as a pedagogical product and an educational resource that allows to solve a whole range of problems, based on the personal and social needs of both adolescents themselves and society as a whole. The implementation of the presented model involves the alignment of the educational process in further education with a focus on the self-development of students, while support is considered as a process of pedagogical interaction between teachers and students. Occupational burnout syndrome most often occurs among professionals of the at-risk occupations, i.e. those who work in close contact with people and have to communicate a lot and intensively with others. This group includes educational specialists (teachers, educators, psychologists), medical professionals, and sale representatives. Fatigue, weakness, lack of interest in their activities against the background of chronic stress, is well known to many people, especially workaholics, who strive to do as much as possible, resulting in emotional burnout. With the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, burnout has taken on a different form due to isolation, fears for the lives and health of family members, and distance from workplaces and well-accustomed co-workers. Distance learning has created new challenges for teachers and students of HEIs. Study before quarantine was already complicated, given the heavy workload, the large volume of the curriculum, and the constant lack of free time. Working in such rhythm makes it difficult to maintain mental health and prevent emotional burnout. The professional activity of university educators is characterized by increased responsibility, a wide range of commitments and the need for continuous professional development. In addition to the educational process, the teacher is responsible for the implementation of methodological, organizational, educational and research work. The influence of stressors on a teacher’s health contributes to the emergence of the syndrome of occupational burnout. “Quarantine” factors influencing the development of occupational burnout can be assigned into two groups: organizational and psychological factors related to the novel special organization of work in quarantine; psychological factors associated with the new psychological features of the professional activity and their own subjective characteristics. To prevent the development of occupational burnout, psychologists recommend to take care of yourself; do not forget about rest; realistically estimate own capabilities and, accordingly, plan work and time; do not make unnecessary commitments; do not demand too much from yourself; work should bring joy.

The relevance of the study of issues related to improving the quality of education in current realities is not in doubt. One may note a wide range of opinions regarding the content and essence of this concept, its structure, ensuring the quality of the educational process, in particular, in educational institutions of higher education, and understanding of the quality of existing education by the educational process participants (teachers and students) as well as parties concerned (employers, parents, etc.). Improving the quality of education is a multifaceted and continuous process that requires careful attention from the scientific community. The authors consider the main definitions of the concept of quality of education and uncover its content. To study different views on the quality of contemporary education, several surveys of the main participants in the educational process, i.e. teachers and students, were conducted. The authors revealed the opinions of employers and graduates regarding the quality of domestic higher education and, based on these qualities, created a profile of contemporary graduates (young professionals) who have received a high-quality education. As a result of the conducted research, the conclusion is confirmed that quality is understood by each person according to their accumulated experience and the subjective idea of this category, and changes according to the requirements that are dictated by society and the state in a particular historical period, as well as depending on the conditions of the surrounding reality (a clear example is a current situation with coronavirus which shows that the main skills for employees are the skills and abilities to perform work remotely, which also become key ones when making a decision by the employer about hiring an employee).

This paper is conducted to shed the light on English language problems Libyan undergraduate students face in short story through creative interpretation in reading and writing. Creative writing is a wide range of literature and it deals not only with language but also with the wide imagination of writers. However, it is well known that if language problems increase, then even the imagination cannot help because writing techniques and creativity go on the same path. It has always been a great help for the writers to organize and deliver their writing in a suitable form. Most Libyan students cannot, they have many problems in composing, therefore; when they are asked to conduct a creative writing task, they find it enormously difficult and challenging. Those who have the ability to produce are the talented and skillful ones. In this paper, the aim is to encourage and motivate Libyan students to be effected to creative reading and writing as well as grow their skills and talents. Furthermore, this paper will deal with language problems in reading and writing that are mostly common in all levels of learners, and it will focus mostly on the scope of short story. In addition, the purpose of this paper is to provide ideas, suggestions, and solutions according to the problems that are encountered throughout this study. Reading this paper, will help Libyan EFL teachers realize that creative writing is a talent or a skill that has to be practiced; therefore, we will provide ideas to help teachers avoid favoring students who have the talents and skills in reading and writing over others by treating them equally, helping them grow their ability in being creative. There are some important elements that will be discussed throughout this study and the most elements of all is for Libyan EFL teachers and students to understand that there is a significant relationship between what the learner writes and what he/she reads which is called creative reading. In this paper we will present how the reading skill is also neglected by Libyan students. Students do not read for interest unless they are forced to do so for different reasons. Reading skill is not practiced by Libyan students even in their first language. Unfortunately, Libya is a culture that does not encourage, support, facilitate and provide for reading. Therefore, in this paper, the aim is also to help Libyan students learn that reading someone's piece of work is an essential step for developing the skill of creative writing and that provides the history or background about the expected text, even an imagination for an inspired story. Furthermore, providing this paper is to help Libyan students believe that the more the learner reads, the more he/she writes and creates. We would like students to believe that inspiration and imagination are the path for a readable and meaningful story which leads the writer to creativity. And, we believe that if EFL teachers find a way to provide creativity, students will gain the knowledge needed to write and read creatively.

The article highlights the problem of distance learning of the Ukrainian language in general secondary education. Emphasis is placed on its features and advantages, prospects are described. It is noted that distance learning is a form of learning based on the use of a wide range of traditional and new information and telecommunications technologies, which at different stages of the educational process provide interactive interaction between teachers and students, students and independent work of each other with information network materials. It is emphasized that the obligatory part of the educational process in the conditions of learning with the use of distance technologies is the communication of the teacher with each student. It is clarified that with students who for some reason can not communicate simultaneously, the teacher must agree on a different format of communication. It is emphasized that in addition to providing communication, the use of remote technologies solves the problem of individual approach to students, and also helps to avoid information overload. A system of multilevel exercises and tasks aimed at implementing the competency approach in terms of distance learning is presented. It is noted that the current direction of further research is the analysis of the state of distance education in Ukraine, theoretical substantiation of psychological and pedagogical principles of development and use of elements of distance technologies, in particular in the study of the Ukrainian language.

We will remember 2020 with the coronavirus pandemic. This terrible disease has caused a long-term quarantine and therefore the whole planet, including Ukraine, has switched to distance learning. In the age of the Internet, there are many different services for distance learning, so all schools, universities, and other educational institutions have begun to use a variety of services. But after long use, it became clear that all services have their drawbacks and do not cover all the needs of teachers or students. The distance form of education opens access to education for a wide range of people who for some reason cannot study traditionally. However, in distance learning, there is a problem of lack of communication with teachers and classmates, which is the most important information channel in the learning process. Not all distance learning services are the same. An important issue for both teachers and students is the choice of a distance learning service. The article provides a brief overview of the functional features of the most popular educational tools that use the power of social media to help students in the learning process, and teachers to interact with each other, and students who are able to minimize the lack of direct communication with their social group. The article proposes an approach to the assessment of the integrated indicator, which would take into account the needs of both parties to the educational process. According to the proposed method, a comparison of the most used services that support distance learning.

The introduction of components of distance education in terms of the current pandemic is seen as a rather unexpected but successful socio-pedagogical experiment on the way to global digital education. This article is aimed to emphasize the possibilities of using the distance learning format as a space and a means of continuous monitoring of the educational process. This format allows establishing countless feedbacks between the participants in the process, implementing a synergistic approach at the local and global levels. Some results obtained in the course of surveys conducted by the faculty of the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Religious Studies in the KSPU named after V.P. Astafiev are cited. These results testify, in particular, to some positive changes in attitudes towards the realities of “the remote” by both teachers and students. Moreover, such polls help to correct the process in practice and can serve as tracers of a wide range of not only technological problems, but essentially socio-philosophical ones related to the emergence of a new system of values. The notion that the digitalization of education is a promising strategy generally contributing to the development of civilization towards the dominance of post-material values is promoted.

The development of information and educational environments for the organization and support of the educational process, including Computer Science, draws attention of many researchers. Nevertheless, the issues of creation of information and educational environments to organize and support extracurricular activities, which are actively developing both in schools and in institutions of additional education, remain unsolved. The author discusses the principles of developing such systems, illustrating them with the examples from his practical experience in designing information and educational environments for organizing and supporting distance competitions and contests. The study resulted in developing the principles of creating an information-educational environment: intellectualization; mobility; integration with social networks; integration with other educational services; multimedia and format; compliance of the content with the content lines of teaching Computer Science. The author pays special attention to the principles of integration, in view of the fact that the resources for extracurricular activities for school-children have been actively developed lately; however, the exchange of data between them, as well as between them and distance learning systems, is either rather complicated or impossible at all. The author has shown that extracurricular activities in information and educational environment have a positive effect both on teachers and students. Among other effects, there is a boost in students’ self-esteem, communicative skills, and interest in Computer Science.

The change in the social and educational situation in the country has actualized the development of subject-oriented models of pedagogical support for students, the search for effective ways to create conditions for the self-development of students. In modern school programs, as well as in educational programs of additional education for children, there are practically no special classes devoted to the construction and implementation of self-development projects by adolescents. The article proposes a model of pedagogical support for self-development of adolescents in additional education, methodologically based on the reflexive-value approach developed by the author within the framework of the scientific school of M.I. Rozhkov, and technologically based on the compilation and implementation of individual self-development projects by adolescents. The presented model can be considered as a pedagogical product and educational resource that allows solving a whole range of problems based on the personal and social needs of both adolescents themselves and society as a whole. The implementation of the presented model presupposes building the educational process in the additional education of children with a focus on the self-development of students, while accompaniment is considered as a special type of pedagogical interaction aimed at stimulating pupils' awareness of the meaning of their own life and its value components and building on their basis a project of their own life.
