The article studies the methods of evaluating the effectiveness of production is built on the basis of a flexible, reconfigurable systems capable of performing fast-changing market demands. Examines the history of formation of the concept of efficiency of organization of flexible production and its main parameters estimation. Based on the performance of the production system as a communication channel, describes the main performance characteristics of the configurable production systems. Described indicators are General and do not depend on the specific application of the system, which is especially important to determine the appropriate standard values. The time required for calculation of the indicators is determined on the basis of the known methods and the proposed approach, which provides a clear semantic definition of universality, flexibility, mobility and productivity, thus strictly linking the indicators together.

The allocation of nutrients within the abaca plant is of interest, as it determines the amounts which may be removed from the farm, returned to the soil in dead plant part, and available for re-translocation to subsequent generations of suckers. Hence, the study was conducted to investigate the level of nutrition among abaca plants grown under diversified multi-strata agroecosystems and to understand the pattern of abaca nutrient uptake planted under coconut and Rainforestation production systems. In the abaca–coconut agroecosystem, results show that availability of macronutrients from different blocks demonstrates a high degree of significant differences (p≤0.01) within 0-30cm soil depth. These differences can be attributed to the history of land uses, farmer’s management practice and soil the type. On the other hand, it can be concluded that the trees planted under the Rainforestation system plays a significant role in the nutrient fluxes and the improvement of soil acidity. This is due to the fact that trees function as “nutrient-pumps”. Therefore, integrating abaca under the Rainforestation system is a best option. Finally, it is not enough and safe to conclude that the low nutrient concentration in abaca leaves is due to low nutrient in the soil concentration solution since the standard values for abaca is still unknown. Thus, using the results for diagnosing nutrient deficiencies is insufficient.

This study presents the first elaborate attempt to set out a functional-semantic definition of diachronic transcategorial shift between the major classes “noun”/“nominal” and “verb”/“clause.” In English, speakers have different options to refer to an event by using “deverbal nominalization” strategies (e.g., Him guessing her size/His guessing of her size (was incredibly lucky)). Interestingly, not only do these strategies each resemble “prototypical” nominals to varying extents, it also has been observed that some of these strategies increasingly resemble clauses and decreasingly resemble prototypical nominals over time, as if they are gradually shifting categories. Thus far, the literature on such cases of diachronic categorial shift has mainly described the processes by focusing on form, leaving the reader with a clear picture of what and how changes have occurred. Yet, the question of why these formal changes have occurred is still shrouded in mystery. This study tackles this mystery by showing that the diachronic processes of nominalization and verbalization can also involve functional-semantic changes. The aim of this study is both theoretical and descriptive. The theoretical aim is to present a model that allows one to study diachronic nominalization and verbalization as not just formal or morpho-syntactic but also functional-semantic processes. The descriptive aim is to offer “workable” definitions of the abstract functional-semantic properties of nominals and verbs/clauses, and subsequently apply them to one of the most intriguing deverbal nominalization systems in the history of English: the English gerund.

The concept of social responsibility has a broad interpretation due to different approaches to forming its concept, the definition of fundamental principles, methods, and ways to ensure the expected results. The term "social responsibility" should be used considering the current state of research in this area and the discourse formed under the influence of the integration of foreign experience in ensuring social responsibility and the practice of Ukrainian enterprises in this area. We considered the history of formation and development of the concept of social responsibility of enterprises in Ukraine. We noted that the approaches to the formation of the concept of social responsibility differ significantly. We emphasized that the development of a transparent concept of social responsibility should be based on the factors, content and models of this activity. We concluded that due to the crisis in the economy and society in Ukraine, the concept of social responsibility had acquired a unique regional shape. This gave rise to the lack of a unified state policy of social responsibility of business, unsystematic measures of enterprises to implement the introductory provisions, the lack of a systematic approach to the transformation of social responsibility management

The history of formation of the cultural commentary principle, an effective scientific method used in study of various texts, is discussed in the article. The current experience in its use in literary criticism, musicology and musical culturology is analyzed herein. The own definition of this method is offered. Prospects for this methodological tool in researches of the composers’ creative biographies are specified by the example of studying the memoir heritage of M. Glinka. Referring to the cultural commentary while studying M. Glinka’s memoirs involves many different sources for proper understanding of the described details of the composer’s life, which at first sight are not related to his creative activity. This approach helps expand the selection of facts for commenting and include information, earlier left beyond vision of musicologists and culturologists. Commenting on the outstanding composers’ memoirs is a peculiar way of knowing the musicians’ personality, an opportunity to dive deeper into the past, to find meanings hidden under the surface of the text.

The article has as its object the elucidation of the history of the Vyshnivetsky Castle Library, definition of the content of its fund, its historical and cultural significance, correlation of the founder of the Library Mychailo Servaty Vyshnivetsky with the Book. The Vyshnivetsky Castle Library was formed in the Ukrainian historical region of Volyn’, in the Vyshnivets town – “family nest” of the old Ukrainian noble family of the Vyshnivetskies under the “Korybut” coat of arm. The founder of the Library was Prince Mychailo Servaty Vyshnivetsky (1680–1744) – Grand Hetman and Grand Chancellor of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Vilno Voievoda. He was a politician, an erudite and great bibliophile. In the 30th–40th of the 18th century the main Prince’s residence Vyshnivets became an important centre of magnate’s culture in Rich Pospolyta. M. S. Vyshnivetsky’s contemporaries from the noble class and clergy knew quite well about his library and really appreciated it. According to historical documents 5 periods are defined in the Library’s history. In the historical sources the first place is occupied by old-printed books of Library collection and 7 Library manuscript catalogues dating from 1745 up to the 1835 which give information about quantity and topical structures of Library collection. The Library is a historical and cultural symbol of the Enlightenment epoch. The Enlightenment and those particular concepts and cultural images pertaining to that epoch had their effect on the formation of Library’s fund. Its main features are as follow: comprehensive nature of the stock, predominance of French eighteenth century editions, presence of academic books and editions on orientalistics as well as works of the ideologues of the Enlightenment and new kinds of literature, which generated as a result of this movement – encyclopaedias, encyclopaedian dictionaries, almanacs, etc. Besides the universal nature of its stock books on history, social and political thought, fiction were dominating. The reconstruction of the history of Vyshnivetsky’s Library, the historical analysis of the provenances in its editions give us better understanding of the personality of its owners and in some cases their philanthropic activities, and a better ability to identify the role of this Library in the culture life of society in a certain epoch.
