The aim of the work was to study the features of pedagogical control of schoolchildren's learning in a modern general education school. Research methods: theoretical: a review of psychological and pedagogical literature on research issues. The advantages of the system for assessing the degree of training are that each subsequent parameter is qualitatively higher than the previous one, and the system as a whole assesses the growth of knowledge and skills of students and the proposed parameters are convenient to operate in practice during the current assessment of knowledge, skills and abilities of students. The disadvantage of the system - the last parameter - "transfer" - characterizes as the student's ability to solve problems of a heuristic and creative type, ie. this stage requires detailing. The teaching function of control is to determine the content, techniques and methods of control, which are educational in nature. Any controlling task, except for the controlling function, trains students in the implementation of specific educational actions, ensuring a more solid mastery of these actions. The controlling task includes an element of novelty in the informative and substantive terms, providing an expansion of the cognitive horizons of students, developing and increasing the learning value of control. It is difficult to eliminate the subjective element of pedagogical control due to various circumstances: the designation of learning outcomes is rather arbitrary: knowledge, abilities, skills, assimilation, academic performance, etc .; methods of direct measurement of educational activity have not been developed, and it is judged indirectly by the answers, by the actions of students. Pedagogical control is an important component of the educational process that influences the result, the course of training and education. This problem is one of the most urgent in teaching practice.

The new methodological thinking is characterized by philosophical foundation of ecological ethics (ecological consciousness, ecological thinking, ecological values, ecological activity, etc.). The idea of development of environmental ethics based on principles of Christian and Philosophic noology is introduced. The world outlook is changing rapidly with its positive and negative aspects. It requires humanization of natural environment as well as a human being by forming ecological consciousness. There is a necessity of humanization of technosphere and abandoning technocratic thinking, which is anti-culture itself and, at times, it endangers human race on the Earth.

The article focuses on the incompleteness of the process of building a system of profilization in the Russian general education school, as well as on the increasing role of specialized education as a global demand. It is argued that a factor contributing to quality profilization is the introduction and reliance on blended learning. The author gives various classifications of blended learning models of domestic and foreign researchers. Presented are the results of several surveys aimed at identifying the attitude of students, parents and teachers to blended learning and technologies of blended learning, if they were used in the educational process in the framework of the profile school.

The article describes the changes taking place in culture and education of the 21st century in connection with the civilization search for ways of sustainable development. The role of environmental culture as a platform for the formation of a sustainable development culture is considered. The problem of developing methodological approaches to ensuring the continuity of the formation in general education of the foundations of a culture of sustainable development based on ecological culture is actualized. The conclusion is made about the new mission of environmental education as education for sustainable development, which forms the prerequisites for the development of the foundations of sustainable development culture. A comparative characteristic of environmental culture in its classical understanding as a result of natural-scientific ecological education of schoolchildren, and ecological culture for sustainable development, as the integration of cultural results of all general education, is given. The essence of culturological, cultural-creative, value-worldview, integrative, semiotic-hermeneutic and institutional approaches to ensuring the continuity of the formation of ecological culture and culture of sustainable development is revealed. The problem of an estimation of information quantity transferred to pupil in 1-11grades is discussed. It is shown, that the educational material is characterized by the information amount (quantity of the used words) and its complexity (degree of the knowledge folding). The information is transferred from teacher to pupil through the communication channel; the amount of received knowledge is equal to product of the transfer speed on time. As a result of the analysis of the educational process are determined: the numbers of lessons in various classes; the average durations of an explanation on a lesson; the general times of the new material explanation in every year; the speed of the material presentation (words/min.); the shares of the new information. The annual increase of the pupil’s knowledge and the total amounts of knowledge, which received from a beginning of training at school are calculated; the diagrams are presented.

Presented is a brief review of modern publications on the topic of education in terms of the interpretation of the concept of its content, that reveals a motley picture of both the interpretation of the term itself and the practice-oriented options for its filling. This study realizes the intention to predict the nearest development of the concept of education on the basis of an ontological-epistemological description of the concept of “content of education”, formed on the basis of a conjugate consideration of two ways of describing the world — the traditional empirical and the progressive theoretical. The text contains a comparative characteristic of the traditional pedagogical presentation of the content of education and its presentation in the paradigm of an innovative ontogenetic approach. The authors of the ontogenetic approach substantiate the need for the development of the educational process in general education and higher education on different conceptual content of the educational content. In the first case, it is a traditional pedagogical conceptuality, and in the second, an innovative ontogenetic one. The idea of evolutionary conjugation of two educational processes in accordance with age restrictions and students’ capabilities is expressed. Age continuity of education is realized by the distribution of learning tasks. The task of a general education school is to lead students to operate with concepts, the task of a higher school is to prepare students for the knowledge of a constantly changing world.

Entrepreneurship, as one of today’s most relevant competences, is widely discussed in the public space. We must admit that scientific discussions have not yet led to a unanimous definition of the phenomenon, although the studies themselves are quite abundant. On the other hand, considering the social reality as being subject to constant change, it is also important to analyse the documents which are directly related to change of content of the said education. Scientific problem can be set as follows: what entrepreneurship education is provided in today’s general education school of Lithuania. Purpose – toreveal position of entrepreneurship education in Lithuanian general education curriculum and in educational process in general education school. It analysed the regulations on the Lithuanian general school curriculum content of the school year 2016-2017 in terms of the development of entrepreneurship: strategies, curricula, resources, etc. The analysis shows that in terms of modelling of curriculum formal education is aimed at training entrepreneurship following the principles of holistic approach, integrity and consistency. Lithuanian general curricula for general education are modelled in such a way that the learners integrally understand entrepreneurship, from different perspectives of subjects, as an integral competence.

This article discusses the problem of substantiating the need for social and pedagogical prevention of anxiety in adolescents in a general education school and the organization of the educational process, which takes into account the peculiarities of anxiety in adolescents. A theoretical analysis of the literature and the study of the experience of educational work in general education schools allow us to conclude that the educational process is not sufficiently focused on the prevention of anxiety among adolescents among the middle level. The aim of the research is to develop and approbate a program of social and pedagogical prevention of anxiety in adolescents in a comprehensive school. The structure of the study is based on the requirements of modern higher education, which is based on the professional competencies of the educational paradigm. The main results of the study allow us to determine the effectiveness of the developed program for the prevention of anxiety in adolescents. Based on the results of the analysis of the theory, the structure and methods of a social-pedagogical program for the prevention of anxiety will be revealed, using the example of the use of the methodology "Personal school of anxiety by J. Taylor" (1953). The question of the research is how to develop a program of social and pedagogical prevention of anxiety in adolescents, which will be systemic, holistic, personal and active in nature and will be effective.
