The use of the right tools greatly determines the success of achieving the competence of students in learning. Learning tools that tend to be monotonous make students less actively involved in learning and less improve scientific attitudes and learning outcomes. The development of Chemistry learning tools based on a scientific approach in NHT model is expected to be effective in the classroom and help students in learning Chemistry. This development research aims to: 1) describe the development process of producing cooperative learning tools of NHT type based on a scientific approach; and 2) produce cooperative learning tools of NHT type based on scientific approaches that are valid, practical, and effective to improve scientific attitudes and learning outcomes on Acid-Base learning material. This research consists of the stages of defining (define), design, development, and dissemination (disseminate). The product developed was tested on students of class XI MIPA.3 at SMAN 8 Gowa of academic year 2019/2020. The product validity was tested by two expert assessors. This research includes the steps of the NHT model, namely preparation, group formation, problem discussion, calling the Member Number or Giving Answers, giving conclusions, and giving awards. The stages of this chemistry learning tool also refer to the scientific attitude approach that applies 5M, namely observing, asking, trying, associating/processing information/logic,and communicating to improve scientific attitudes and learning outcomes of students. The results of the study obtained: 1) the average value of product validity 3.76 (very valid); 2) scientific attitude questionnaire data = 3.07 (high); 3) THB's average N-Gain result is 0.83 (high); 4) teachers and students showed a very positive response with a percentage of 95.84% and 82.81%. Therefore, the conclusion of the study is the Chemistry learning tools based on the scientific approach in NHT model that had been developed in Chemistry learning on Acid-Base learning materials are valid, practical, and effective to improve the scientific attitude and learning outcomes of students.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika melalui pendekatan kontekstual siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Hatungun Kabupaten Tapin. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Penelitian Tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Hatungun Kabupaten Tapin sebanyak 17 orang yang terdiri atas sepuluh orang laki-laki dan tujuh orang perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan dokumentasi serta hasilnya dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II. Hasil lain menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dan aktivitas guru dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran juga kategori baik.   Kata kunci: pendekatan kontekstual, prestasi belajar, matematika. Abstract: This study aims to improve mathematics learning achievement through the contextual approach of eight grade students of SMPN 1 Hatungun, Tapin Regency. This type of research is a classroom action research with two cycles. The subjects of this study were 17 students, consisting of ten boys and seven girls. The data collection techniques used were tests and documentation and the results were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. Other results indicate that student activities in the learning process and teacher activities in learning management are also in good category. Keywords: contextual approach, learning achievement, mathematics.

The problems encountered in learning biology in SMAN 13 Tebo is the low result in learning biology, and the class average (57 and 58) of minimal completeness (KKM). The causes include the lesson still done traditionally, the class still focus on the teacher as main source of knowledge. Objective of this study to determine the influence of the biology of learning outcomes: the student taught by using media (powerpoint) contextual and those taught by using traditional approach, student of high scientific attitude and low scientific attitude, and presence or absence of interactions between media (powerpoint) contextual approach and scientific attitude toward the biology learning result. This research is an experiment research with factorial design 2x2. Methods research design used in this study is a quasi experimental pratest and postest. The data are analyzed using two way ANOVA. Results of this research indicate that there is a influence in learning result between student taught by using media (powerpoint) contextual and those taught by using traditional approach, there is no influence in learning result between student of high scientific attitude and low scientific attitude, and there is no interaction between media (powerpoint) contextual approach and scientific attitude toward the biology learning result.

<p>This research aims to know: (1) the effect of PjBL and PBL models based on tetrahedral chemistry representation toward student’s achievement; (2) the effect of creativity toward student’s achievement; and (3) the interaction between PjBL and PBL models based on tetrahedral chemistry representation with creativity toward student’s achievement on the colloid subject in <em>SMA Negeri 1 Sragen</em>. This research used quasi experiment method with 2×2 factorial design. Samples of research were determined with cluster random sampling technique and used 2 classes in <em>SMA Negeri 1 Sragen</em>. Data has been collected by test, questionnaire, observation, and literature documents which owned by teacher. Hypothesis testing of this research for cognitive and skill aspects of learning achievement used parametric test of Anova two ways, and for attitude aspect of learning achievement used non-parametric test of Kruskal-Wallis. The results of this research showed that: (1) there was no effect of chemistry learning using of PjBL and PBL models based on tetrahedral chemistry representation toward knowledge, attitude, and skill aspects of student’s achievement; (2) there was effect of high and low creativity toward knowledge and skill aspects of student’s achievement but there was no effect toward attitude aspect of student’s achievement; and (3) there was no interaction between using PjBL and PBL models based on tetrahedral chemistry representation with creativity toward knowledge, attitude, and skill aspects of student’s achievement.</p><p> </p>

Penelitian tentang penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif Word Square untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar kimia siswa pada pokok bahasan koloid di kelas XI SMASCerdas Murrni yang telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2015.Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif Word Square dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar kimia siswa pada pokok bahasan koloid.Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA 1 dan kelas XI IPA 2 T.A 2015/2016yang telah diuji kehomogenannya.Kelas XI IPA 1 diambil secara acak sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 2 sebgai kelas kontrol.Pembelajaran kooperatif Word Square diterapkan di kelas XI IPA 1.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif Word Square dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar kimia siswa pada pokok bahasan koloid. Peningkatan prestasi belajarkimia siswa di kelas eksperimen didukung oleh skor gain ternormalisasi (N-Gain) sebesar 0,83.   The study of the application of the Word Square cooperative learning model to improve students' chemistry learning achievement on the subject of colloids in XI grade of SMAS Cerdas Murni had been conducted in May 2015. The purpose of the study was to determine whether the application of Word Square cooperative learning models could improve student chemistry learning achievement on the subject of colloid. The samples were XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2 classes in 2015/2016 which had been tested for their homogeneity. XI IPA 1 was taken randomly as experimental class and XI IPA 2 as control class. Word Square cooperative learning was applied in XI IPA 1 class. The results of the study showed that Word Square cooperative learning could improve students' chemistry learning achievement on colloidal topics. The increase of chemistry learning achievement of students in the experimental class was supported by a normalized gain score (N-Gain) of 0.83.

The study aims at knowing the improvement of students science activities through contextual approach  at grade V in SDK Colol II Manggarai regency. The study was a classroom action research (CAR). The subject of the study was grade V consist of 19 students. The methods to collect the data were observation, interview and documentation. The data were analyzed through qualitative descriptive method. The result was, based on the analysis, learning achievement in cycle I was 60,08% in category 'quite active'. Then it was improved in cycle II to 88,8% with category 'very good'. In conclusion, the application of contextual approach can improve students learning activities.  AbstractThis research aimed at knowing the effect of using TPS learning model with ICM media toward student chemistry learning achievement on Hydrocarbon lesson at the tenth grade of State Senior High School 2 Rumbiojaya. It was instigated by the low of student chemistry learning achievement on Hydrocarbon lesson at the tenth grade of State Senior High School 2 Rumbiojaya. It was a Quasi-experiment with pretest and posttest design. Two classes of the tenth-grade students owning the same homogeneity level were the samples, the tenth grade of classes 2 was as the experimental group and class 3 was as the control group, and Purposive sampling technique was used. Observation, homogeneity test as the preliminary data test, pretest and posttest as the final data test, and documentation were the techniques of collecting the data.  t test used to analyze the final data showed that tobserved was 2.038 and ttable was 2.00 at 5% significant level.  It meant that tobserved was higher than ttable, H0 was rejected, and Ha was accepted.  It revealed that there was an effect of using TPS learning model with ICM media toward student learning achievement on Hydrocarbon lesson and the coefficient of effect was 8.6%.Keywords : Think Pair Share, Index Card Match, Learning Achievement, Hydrocarbon.

This research aims to examine and analyze: (1) the influence of parents' socio-economic status on chemistry learning achievement, (2) the effect of learning motivation on chemistry learning achievement, (3) differences in motivation for learning coastal students with students in Watershed, (4) differences in learning achievement of coastal students with students in Watersheds. The location of this research is the SMAN in Konawe District. This type of research is associative research and data collection tools use questionnaires and student learning outcomes report cards. The population is 385 students. Sampling was done by proportional random sampling technique, with a sample of 193 people. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis and multiple regression. The results showed: (1) parents' socio-economic status towards chemistry learning achievement by 18%; (2) learning motivation towards chemistry learning achievement by 29%; (3) there are differences in motivation to learn coastal students with students in Watersheds, (4) there are differences in learning achievement of coastal students with students in Watersheds. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that parents' socio-economic status and motivation had an influence on the high school chemistry learning achievement in Konawe District.
