Abstract Our work provided for the study of the impact of directed reproduction of cows on the formation of highly productive healthy herds in the basic farms of the Republic of Kazakhstan. For accelerated replacement of herd and increase of number of highly productive cows in large farms for milk production one uses sexed semen at the first and the second insemination of primiparous cows obtained from highly productive mothers. The efficiency obtained from using this technique is 65-95% of individuals of the desired sex. Insemination was carried out by recto-cervical method using a tool AlphaVision frozen-thawed sexed semen divided by sex. The highest results of the fruitfulness of insemination with sexed semen in Agricultural production cooperative “Breeding Plant Almaty”, Individual entrepreneur “Karimov” and Kakpatas Kordai were obtained in the autumn-winter period and ranged from 58.1 to 65.2%, with an insemination index of 1.58-1.72. Economic efficiency when using the technology of artificial insemination of calves with sexed semen amounted to 10,040.2 tenge. When using sexed semen, an average of 92% of calves were obtained from bovine. Less insemination costs, the profit from calf production amounted to 76,109.2 tenge.

Abstract The paper substantiates the relevance of the considered issue, which is associated with the preservation of general contradictions in determining the essential characteristics of modern forms of economic management, their typology, and scenario forecasts for the development of small and large forms of management. The dualistic nature of the results of the transformation of the main forms of economic management in the system of the national economy was explained. The economic effects of transformation processes over two decades were analyzed and compared. It was revealed that: firstly, in the structure of production large farms prevail over the small ones; secondly, similar trends are observed in the dynamics of output volumes; thirdly, over the period under study, these trends remain stable. Scenario forecasts of the main trends in the further development of small and large forms of economic management were determined. The conservative scenario assumes further concentration and oligopolization in the agrarian sphere of the national economy. The baseline scenario assumes the preservation of the existing proportions of large and small forms of farming in the structure of agricultural production. The optimistic scenario assumes that the combination of the phenomenon of the impact of the global pandemic with the improvement of government support instruments for small businesses will increase the level of competitiveness in agricultural production.

Over the past 30 years, a series of inter-related changes in land-use pattern, business arrangements, farm structure, and production practices combined to expand output without increasing the use of total inputs. Moreover, by allowing farmers to increase U.S. agricultural production through increased productivity instead of expanded land and chemical use, many of these innovations helped to limit the impact of agricultural production on the environment. Meanwhile, new technologies (such as precision agriculture) have required additional labor use, a differentiated approach to the specialization of production, and stimulated the concentration of resources, capital and efforts on the production of certain products, which allowed some farmers to increase the size of their operations. As a result, the number of large farms increased 8 times, and their share in the country's agricultural production increased to 62%. Although production has shifted dramatically to larger farms, 97 percent of all farms remain family farms, generating 82 percent of the total value of U.S. agricultural production.

Prevailing trends on regional food market and economic performance data of enterprise entities show up the need to determine the most pressing factors of further development of the dairy farming field in the Republic of Karelia. Due to reduction of regional dairy market capacity and rising competition, it is necessary to search for new solutions geared to improvement of efficiency of business activities. Assessment of the impact of market factors on the production level of dairy products in the region was carried out using multiple regression analysis. A correlation analysis was used to determine strength of relationship between indicators that hypothetically influence the development of the regional dairy product market. The milk production volume in the region has been found to have a direct linkage to consumption (r=0,82) and income level (r=-0,88), consumer price (r=-0,84), expenses for food (r=-0,86) as well as retail sales volume (r=-0,85). The quantity of imported dairy products reliably tied to consumption level (r=0,88). One of possible options for solution to the problem of milk production reduction in the region is a new approach in the implementation of state support to the economic sector – shifting the focus of financing from production to distribution promoting the growth of consumer demand for dairy products.

The article presents the economic efficiency of the use of innovative technologies in dairy farms, in particular, the technology of keeping calves on the example of three dairy farms containing 1000 or more dairy cows (AIC “Adal” JSC, Aidarbayev farm, LLP “Agrofirm“ Dinara-Ranch “of the Almaty region), which made it possible to determine the development potential of these farms, to give an economic assessment of the level of production. The presented calculation of the economic efficiency of model farms for the dairy industry of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan made it possible to ensure a reasonable transfer and adaptation of technologies for the automation of technological processes for the production of livestock products in dairy cattle breeding in Kazakhstan, which will contribute to the achievement of goals, objectives and indicators as part of the implementation of the State Program for the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2017-2021 Reducing the volume of milk production and the level of its consumption is a technological backwardness, since the share of dairy farms using modern technologies and equipment is 10-15% of their total number. In addition, the equipment of new and reconstructed dairy complexes and farms does not always correspond to modern technological requirements for keeping and feeding highly productive livestock. As a result, their biological potential is far from being fully realized, which negatively affects the provision of the population with milk and dairy products of domestic production. Taking into account the long duration of the reproduction cycle and the low rate of capital turnover in dairy cattle breeding, the introduction of innovations occurs in the sub-industry with some delay compared to other sub-sectors (pig and poultry farming). One of the tools for modernizing dairy farming in the current conditions is the introduction of modern digital, information and intelligent technologies (artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things and the industrial Internet). Their implementation can turn milk production into a high-tech business, increase labor productivity due to the emergence of super-productive animal breeds, solutions for accelerated selection; high quality feed and veterinary drugs; innovative delivery services.

Animal husbandry in the Astrakhan region ranks the highestpriority in the milk production which is a core industry with specific advantages of the region. In the structure of agricultural production the industry occupies about 40% and is characterized by the high agricultural production potential. The diversification and development of small forms of management, the improvement of agrarian policy are accompanied by qualitative changes in the organization of agricultural production. The creation of institutions for the industry development represented by state programs ofagricultural development and regulation of markets of agricultural products, raw materials and foodstuffs of the Russian Federation did not fully provide the achievement of the set goals and objectives. As a result, numerous problems have accumulated in the country's livestock sector, resulting in a steady reducing milk production and cattle number, including cows. New economic challenges increase the relevance of research and requirements to increase the validity of the formation and evaluation of the effectiveness of the implementation of program activities of the subjects of the Russian Federation. A comprehensive analysis of the condition and trends of livestock development carried out on the basis of a two-factor multiplicative model and an assessment of the impact of quantitative and qualitative indicators will allow to form directions for further institutional development of the agro-industrial complex of the region.

The article analyzes the modern model for evaluating the improvement of investment activity efficiency and provides conclusions on the level of development of the current state of railway transport in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The economic effect of intensive investments is the equivalent of the costs and benefits of the difference between the result and the costs of achieving it. The economic efficiency of intensive investments is defined as the ratio of investment costs to achieving a profitable result (economic effect). The indicators characterizing the economic efficiency of intensive investments: the integrated effect, the need for additional financing, the internal rate of return, the intensive return on investment ratio, the intensive return on investment index, the innovation ratio, investment in human resources, and the effectiveness of modern corporate governance. will be included. The multiplier effect in which a set of multipliers reflects changes in production volumes, investments and industry characteristics. Analysis of specific activities shows the impact of growth indicators, given its contribution to the dynamics of the economy. An increase in investment costs will lead to an increase in production and income. This interaction is explained by the multiplier effect. The concept of the multiplier means "multiplier". The essence of the multiplier effect is that an increase in investment will lead to greater growth in national income.
