Over many years much effort has been made to develop design codes for pressure vessels, pipe-work, flanges and so on to design a system of high structural integrity. In-spite of the efforts the reliability of the system can be adversely affected for many reasons. Poor construction practices, incorrect selection of components such as gasket, improper quality of bolts and surface treatment, incorrect tooling, wrong application, underestimated joint size due to incorrect loading consideration, incorrect use of code, lack of thought to plant use, or a change of use during the life of a plant may make a joint unsuitable. The list is not exhaustive and not all the possible causes of failure may become apparent during commissioning. Failure of a pipe joint means the achievement of a leak rate below a certain maximum limit or the gross failure of the pipeline in which structural integrity is lost. So the high reliability of a system can be obtained if the right joint is selected for an application and factors that affect the reliability should be considered carefully. A very limited work has been done for the risk assessment of bolted pipe joints. At first, the most comprehensive work is done by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) regarding risk assessment of pipe joints. In addition, Webjorn and Thompson have also performed comparative reliability studies for these joints. Both DNV and Webjorn concluded that compact flange joints show better functional safety than conventional gasketed flange joints. Thomson concluded that both the joints are of high integrity and perform well in excellent service under appropriate installation and maintenance conditions. All above studies have been performed based on information and observations. Present author has performed detailed failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) in the light of above-mentioned studies, idustrial surveys, analysis, experimental work and subsequent observations. The aim of the study was to increase the reliability knowledge about the gasketed and non-gasketed flanged pipe joints and thereby to increase the basis for finding the optimal pipe connection based on general observation and experimental studies performed.

The task is to develop recommendations for the design of dual-type hydrostatodynamic plain bearings based on the existing experience in designing this type of plain bearings, as well as based on many theoretical and experimental studies performed by the author of this work. The number of the most necessary parameters for the design of dual-type hydrostatodynamic bearings is determined. Particular attention was paid to the development of recommendations for additional parameters specific to the design of double type plain bearings. Attention is paid to the selection of double-type bearing materials and it is shown that the problem of selecting materials for hydrostatic dynamic bearings is not so relevant, however, sometimes in start-up and shutdown modes, as well as in emergencies, to ensure high reliability of the designed machine, it is necessary to pay attention to the choice of bearing materials. The influence of various forms of chambers on the static and dynamic characteristics of hydrostatodynamic bearings is analyzed and it is shown that the greatest distribution in practice, they got rectangular cameras. It is shown that the flow regime of the working fluid also significantly affects both the static and dynamic characteristics of the bearing. It is noted that even with a non-rotating rotor in a hydrostatodynamic bearing, the most turbulent mode of flow of the working fluid is most often observed. The influence of the thickness of the working fluid layer on increasing the rigidity of the supports and expanding the range of stable operation is considered. It is shown that with a decrease in the clearance in the bearing, its bearing capacity increases and the range of stable operation expands, however, this increases the friction power loss, increases the likelihood of clogging of the slit bearing path, and also increases the requirements for the quality of manufacture of the bearing working surfaces. It is recommended that in the double hydrostatodynamic bearing in the outer and inner parts to assign the same clearances. It is shown that in a dual hydrostatodinamic bearing, the existing recommendation on the number of chambers can lead in some cases to large working fluid flow.

Purpose. Improving the quality of the trichograms' resettlement by establishing rational operating modes of the dosing and sowing device of an unmanned aerial vehicle. Methods. Experimental studies using the method of planning a three-factor experiment, methods of statistical data processing. Results. Based on the analysis of the technical means for resettlement of the trichograms, the design of the dosing-sowing device of a unmanned aerial vehicle for the resettlement of the trichogram was substantiated. As a result of the experimental studies, it was established that during the deployment of a trichogram with a dosing-seeding device, a stable leakage of the material due to ejection was ensured by using diaphragms with a diameter of 2.5 mm or more. According to the results of the research it was established that with the increase in flight altitude, the quality of material distribution does not change significantly. But factors such as the height of the plants and the presence of obstacles on the field must be taken into account, so it is necessary to keep the flight altitude not less than 5 m. Due to changing the size of the confuser, the range of flight of the particle did not change, which leads to the conclusion to use a smaller cone of diameter due to which reduces the frontal resistance. When using a dosing-seeding device for resettlement of a trichogram on a quadracycle, due to air flow from propellers, the width of the capture significantly decreases. Therefore, for the qualitative distribution of biomaterials on the surface of the field, the distance between adjacent passages should be 6 m. Conclusions 1. The height of the flight of an unmanned aerial vehicle during the resettlement of the trichogram must not be less 5 m from the upper edge of the plant. 2. The uniform distribution of material on the surface of the field depends on the flight speed, which should be within the range of 3–5 m/s. 3. The quality of the material distribution increases from the right choice of the width of the ceiling, which should be about 6 m. Conclusions: dosing sowing device, ejector, unmanned aerial vehicle, biological protection of plants, reshaping of trichograms, norm of settlement, width of capture.

The purpose of the study is to substantiate the parameters of a mini crusher-shredder for processing coarse feed stalks in farms. The feasibility of using a mini crusher-shredder for processing coarse feed in the conditions of farms and farms with a small number of animals, which has a rotary-type shredder that combines the operations of grinding and crushing, is justified. The research uses the laws and rules of mathematical statistics, mathematical planning of experiments, and the methods given in existing regulatory documents. Experimental studies were carried out to study the influence of the rotor parameters of the mini crusher-shredder on its quality performance. A compact crusher-shredder has been developed, which has good visibility of the working bodies, high reliability, and quality of work due to zootechnical requirements. Experimental studies have established that when using a hammer of a flat-turned shape with a lower sharpening and a rotation angle of 60 or more, high-quality grinding of the stems is provided.

This paper presents different aspects of pressure vessel safety in the scope of industrial safety, focused to the chemical industry. Quality assurance, including application of PED97/23 has been analysed first, followed shortly by the risk assessment and in details by the structural integrity approach, which has been illustrated with three case studies. One important conclusion, following such an approach, is that so-called water proof testing can actually jeopardize integrity of a pressure vessel instead of proving it.

Greening of roads contributes to the protection of roads and their elements from influence of adverse weather and climatic factors; it includes the measures for improvement and landscaping of roads, ensures the protection of roadside areas from transport pollution, provides visual orientation of drivers. The solution of these issues will ensure creation and maintenance of safe and comfortable conditions for travelers. Green plantings in the right-of-way road area include woody, bushy, flower and grass vegetation of natural and artificial origin. For proper operation of public roads and satisfaction of other needs of the industry, there may be the need in removing the greenery. The reason for the removal of greenery in the right-of-way road area may be due to the following factors: construction of the architectural object, widening of the motor road, repair works in the security zone of overhead power lines, water supply, drainage, heating, telecommunications facilities, cutting of hazardous, dry and fautal trees, as well as self-grown and brushwood trees with a root neck diameter not exceeding 5 cm, elimination of the consequences of natural disasters and emergencies. The removal of plantations in the right-of-way area is executed in order to ensure traffic safety conditions and to improve the quality of plantations composition and their protective properties. Nowadays, in Ukraine there is no clear procedure for issuing permits for removing of such plantations. In order to resolve this issue, there is a need in determining the list of regulations in the area of forest resources of Ukraine and, if needed, the list of regulatory acts that have to be improved; to prepare a draft of the regulatory legal act that would establish the procedure of plantations cutting, the methodology of their condition determination, recovery costs determination, the features of cutting. Keywords: plantations, cutting, right-of-way, woodcutting permit, order.

The existing legislation determines the education as "an integral and focused process of teaching and upbringing, which represents a socially important value and shall be implemented so as to meet the interests of the individual, the family, the society and the state". However, even in this part, the meaning of the notion ‘socially significant benefit is not specified and allows for a wide range of interpretation [2]. Yet the more inconcrete is the answer to the question – "who and how should determine the interests of the individual, the family and even the state?" The national doctrine of education in the Russian Federation, which determined the goals of teaching and upbringing, the ways to attain them by means of the state policy regulating the field of education, the target achievements of the development of the educational system for the period up to 2025, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of October 4, 2000 #751, was abrogated by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of March 29, 2014 #245 [7]. The new doctrine has not been developed so far. The RAE Academician A.B. Khutorsky believes that the absence of the national doctrine of education presents a threat to national security and a violation of the right of citizens to quality education. Accordingly, the teacher has to solve the problem of achieving the harmony of interests of the individual, the family, the society and the government on their own, which, however, judging by the officially published results, is the task that exceeds the abilities of the participants of the educational process.  The particular concern about the results of the patriotic upbringing served as a basis for the legislative initiative of the RF President V. V. Putin, who introduced the project of an amendment to the Law of RF "About Education of the Russian Federation" to the State Duma in 2020, regarding the quality of patriotic upbringing [3]. Patriotism, considered by the President of RF V. V. Putin as the only possible idea to unite the nation is "THE FEELING OF LOVE OF THE MOTHERLAND" and the readiness for every sacrifice and heroic deed for the sake of the interests of your Motherland. However, the practicing educators experience shortfalls in efficient methodologies of patriotic upbringing, which should let them bring up citizens, loving their Motherland more than themselves. The article is dedicated to solution to this problem based on the Value-sense paradigm of upbringing educational dynasty of the Kurbatovs [15].

Evaluation is at the basis of any social context where all individuals are simultaneously "evaluated" and "evaluators" in all areas of daily life. The goal of a good evaluation system is to encourage staff to do "Good Health" through the provision of quality prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation services. The main reasons that lead to the evaluation of the personnel lie in the inevitable and primary importance of the human resource in achieving the corporate objectives, and by the pressing need for the quality of the service provided to the citizen, as well as the legitimate need of the employee to differentiate, clarifying its specificities and its own individual contribution to the general objectives of the company. In the working context, the "personnel evaluation" assumes a fundamental importance, if managed with the right criteria, in order to make the employee not a simple pawn to move and manage for use and consumption of the organization, but an integral part of the organization itself.
