Broiler behavior is closely related to the breeding environment. Therefore, studying broiler behavior helps breeding farm workers to better carry out welfare breeding. In the breeding environment of yellow feather broilers, temperature, humidity, and ammonia concentration are the main factors that affect the behavior of the broilers. This study used a multichromatic aberration model to process the color images of yellow feather broilers to extract the activity feature of the broilers at different periods, utilized the Cb component of YCbCr color model and the b component of Lab color model to remove background litter in images, and employed the Q component of YIQ color model to remove the feeders and the drinkers from the image. The segmented images were constructed into an accumulator to generate a heat map of yellow feather broilers’ activity. Then, the correlation between the activity and the temperature and humidity index (THI) and the correlation between the activity and ammonia concentration were explored. The experiment found that the activity of the broilers was significantly positively correlated with ammonia concentration ( P < 0.05 ), indicating that the activity of yellow feather broilers increased with ammonia concentration ascending. Besides, the THI in the broiler chamber had a significant positive correlation with the ammonia data ( P < 0.01 ), indicating that when the THI in the broiler chamber increases, the ammonia concentration rises. The research provides a direction for exploring the impact of THI and ammonia concentration on the performance of yellow feather broilers. At the same time, it provides a theoretical basis for the early warning and judgment of broiler breeding by farm workers in the future.

The changes in absorption spectra of aqueous solutions of modern chlorine-containing photosensitizing preparations "Revixan" (Areal, Russia) and "Chloderm" (Chloderm, Russia) depending on the intensity of LED radiation with wavelength of 656 ± 10 nm and exposure time were studied in spectral range 600-700 nm. The parameters of the CIE Lab color model of the image of "Revixan" aqueous solution before and after LED exposure were investigated. The changes in absorption spectra of aqueous solutions of methylene blue with different initial concentrations arising after exposure to LED radiation with intensity of 180 ± 20 mW/cm2 were studied in the spectral range 400-900 nm. It was shown that the impact of LED radiation changes the absorption spectra of the studied preparations and increases the parameter L (lightness) of the CIE Lab color model for "Revixan". An increase in the LED radiation intensity and exposure time leads to a decrease in absorption for "Revixan" and "Chloderm" in spectral range 600-700 nm and to a shift of the peaks of absorption bands lying in this range towards a longer wavelength. The impact of LED radiation on aqueous solutions of methylene blue leads to a decrease in their absorption in spectral range 400-900 nm.

Abstract. The Chinese government has exerted strict emission controls to mitigate air pollution since 2013, which has resulted in significant decreases in the concentrations of air pollutants such as SO2. Strict pollution control actions also reduced the average PM2.5 concentration to the low level of 39.7 µg m−3 in urban Beijing during the winter of 2017. To investigate the impact of such changes on the physiochemical properties of atmospheric aerosols in China, we conducted a comprehensive observation focusing on PM2.5 in Beijing during the winter of 2017. Compared with the historical record (2014–2017), SO2 decreased to the low level of 3.2 ppbv in the winter of 2017, but the NO2 level was still high (21.4 ppbv in the winter of 2017). Accordingly, the contribution of nitrate (23.0 µg m−3) to PM2.5 far exceeded that of sulfate (13.1 µg m−3) during the pollution episodes, resulting in a significant increase in the nitrate-to-sulfate molar ratio. The thermodynamic model (ISORROPIA II) calculation results showed that during the PM2.5 pollution episodes particle pH increased from 4.4 (moderate acidic) to 5.4 (more neutralized) when the molar ratio of nitrate to sulfate increased from 1 to 5, indicating that aerosols were more neutralized as the nitrate content elevated. Controlled variable tests showed that the pH elevation should be attributed to nitrate fraction increase other than crustal ion and ammonia concentration increases. Based on the results of sensitivity tests, future prediction for the particle acidity change was discussed. We found that nitrate-rich particles in Beijing at low and moderate humid conditions (RH: 20 %–50 %) can absorb twice the amount of water that sulfate-rich particles can, and the nitrate and ammonia with higher levels have synergetic effects, rapidly elevating particle pH to merely neutral (above 5.6). As moderate haze events might occur more frequently under abundant ammonia and nitrate-dominated PM2.5 conditions, the major chemical processes during haze events and the control target should be re-evaluated to obtain the most effective control strategy.

The bulking that occurs in biological wastewater treatment plants using activated sludge is very often controlled by the injection of sodium hypochlorite into the return activated sludge (RAS) stream. In the present study undertaken at two pilot plants fed with synthetic wastewater, the impact of the pass frequency of the sludge at the chlorine dosing point on the nitrifying flora is analysed. The pass frequency is one for the pilot plant 1 and two for the pilot plant 2. A dose of chlorine of 4.85 ± 0.05 g/kg/MLVSS per day was applied at both pilots. The preservative effect on nitrifying activity of the lowest concentration of chlorine at the dosing point and therefore of the highest pass frequency was evidenced. Among other tools, a simple method of measurement of the oxygen uptake rate enabled us to monitor the effect of chlorination on nitrification before recording an increase in the ammonia concentration in the bulking.

Natural materials and processes represent the global substance reflecting and determining its formation and existence as a whole and in all its components. Revealing the reasons for their formation and manifestation is crucial. The paper highlights the two main factors: «influences» and «gradients». Influences are interpreted as the impact of some substances and events on other similar parameters, and gradients are vector changes and differences in systems composition, structure, properties, states, energy and thermodynamic parameters. To provide an insight into the role and significance of the above factors and reasons, an attempt was made to consider their potential manifestation throughout the general world history within the existing knowledge about it.

One of the main factors of the effectiveness of the enterprise is the staff. Competent accounting and analysis of calculations with staff for other operations can significantly affect the final financial activities of any organization. The calculations with the staff are not a less important component of the final report of the organization, on the basis of which the profit is formed. All this leads to whether the company conducts effective financial activity or not. The organization's calculations with employees for other operations include payments for merchandise paid by it to merchants, for goods purchased by employees with payment by installments at the expense of the credit received by the organization in the bank, on loans issued to employees. It also involves payments for individual housing construction, the purchase or construction of garden houses, the acquisition of a household. The main aim is to recover material damage caused by an employee of the organization as a result of shortages and theft of monetary and material values and other types of damage. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were solved: the theoretical basis for accounting for loans granted, for material damage compensation was considered, the company was analyzed. In this paper, we consider the main aspects of the management of personnel by other operations, their competent accounting, as well as analysis based on the average statistical data of companies in Russia (Gareeva & Grigoreva, 2019).

The purpose of the study is to influence land resources during mining operations, and the main stages of land reclamation during mining on the example of the Tyradinsky gold Deposit, the "Zolotaya Tyrada" quarry, located in the Yenisei region of the Krasnoyarsk territory. The main factors of impact on land resources in the process of mining the field are considered; the analysis of measures to reduce the negative impact on land resources in the process of mining the field is carried out. The actual height and area of overburden dump not to exceed project, the reconfiguration of dumps allowed us to reduce the impact of mining on the environment, to avoid placing parts of the dumps in the water protection zone of the river Terada, thus there is no need of land allocation to forests of the first group and reduced the amount of removed topsoil. During the reclamation, potentially fertile soils (loam) taken from the quarry were used. There will be no deterioration in the impact on land resources during the liquidation process, due to the short duration of the work and within the existing land allotment.

AbstractThe aim of this study was to develop discrimination models based on textural features for the identification of barley kernels infected with fungi of the genus Fusarium and healthy kernels. Infected barley kernels with altered shape and discoloration and healthy barley kernels were scanned. Textures were computed using MaZda software. The kernels were classified as infected and healthy with the use of the WEKA application. In the case of RGB, Lab and XYZ color models, the classification accuracies based on 10 selected textures with the highest discriminative power ranged from 95 to 100%. The lowest result (95%) was noted in XYZ color model and Multi Class Classifier for the textures selected using the Ranker method and the OneR attribute evaluator. Selected classifiers were characterized by 100% accuracy in the case of all color models and selection methods. The highest number of 100% results was obtained for the Lab color model with Naive Bayes, LDA, IBk, Multi Class Classifier and J48 classifiers in the Best First selection method with the CFS subset evaluator.
