Incomplete reduplication is a type of repetition in which one of the components is not used independently, but only gives a general meaning to the meaning. Inaccurate reductions are widely used, especially in oral speech. The use of this type of vocabulary in prose and dramatic works, which is often used in colloquial speech, serves to increase their naturalness and attractiveness.

The katoba ritual as a form of oral tradition from the Muna tribe is an integral part of the culture of the supporting community.  The purpose of this study is to describe the structure of the ritual text speech of the Muna communities.  The structure of the ritual speech utterances in this study is called the pogau toba text (PTT). This study uses a qualitative method with a Van Dijk structural approach that focuses on three frameworks of text structure, namely macro structure, superstructure, and microstructure. The results showed that 1) the macro structure, which is the overall meaning, global meaning, or general meaning of the PTT. The macro structure found in the PTT is the inauguration of a child as a Muslim. This is reflected in the pronunciation of the two words of the shahada of Asyhadu Allah ilaha Ilallah wa ashadu anna Muhammadar Rasulullah which marks a person's Islamic status; 2) superstructure, namely the four main flow structure of PTT in the context of the katoba ritual, namely opening “pembukaan”, toba conditions “syarat-syarat toba”, core of toba “inti toba”, and the closing “penutup”;  and 3) microstructure, which is limited to the style of the PTT language, namely diction or choice of words in the katoba ritual emphasizing religious and moral elements that are concrete through the use of polite and gentle language, found also a parallelism in grammatical structure, and expressions metaphorical expressions that take the symbols of flora and fauna or other natural objects are presented to convey an idea, concept, or specific purpose.

In linguistics, when studying nouns, specialists often divide them into two large groups, common nouns, and proper nouns. Based on general meaning, common nouns are divided into smaller groups, such as nouns with generalizing meaning, nouns without generalizing meaning. Nouns with generalizing meaning can be divided: nouns of units, nouns of people, nouns of objects, etc. Nouns for people include nouns denoting kinship relations, social relations. These are general nouns of people. They take up a sizeable amount and are an important word class of nouns. Nouns of people indicate not only people but also expressive nuances, cultural expressions of individuals or communities. The article clarifies the characteristics of structures, semantics, and functions as Ede vocative addressing words in Vietnam, thereby explaining the Ede people's cultural characteristics through nouns of people.

This study aims to show the artistic and literary value of Al-Nahshli poem. The pleasure of the text comes from the presence of its textual standards, highlighting its thematic unity, which is so clear from the general meaning of the texts, without relying on the linguistic links that represent the standard of consistency, which is the first of the seven text criteria for De Beaugrande & Dressler (1981). The poem is a sad contemplation, a complaint about the passing of time, and a tingling twinge of old age that includes judgments and sermons inspired by human experiences on the extent of his historical consciousness; the idea of ​​death dominates the poem from beginning to end, this fate that human thought in all its stages as a state of dilemma; the poet was one of those who felt this fate.

The article is written in line with current research, since the problem of studying Ukrainian realities is of unquestionable interest for several reasons. First, understanding the realities will promote bettermutual understanding of different peoples; and secondly, the definition of optimal means of translating the realities is a definite contribution to the general theory of translation. Different types of real-world classifications are proposed, the difficulties associated with the adequate transfer into the translated text of an entire array of cultural information encoded in the realities contained in the origina text are investigated. Basing on the analysis of numerous translations of literary works, Ukrainian researchers (R. Zorivchak, V. Koptilov, O. Kundzich, O. Cherednichenko, etc.) show ways to overcome linguistic obstacles caused by cultural differences. But, as far as we know, the problem of the translation of Ukrainian realities in the works of T. Shevchenko is not yet exhaustively highlighted. The purpose of this article is to analyze the peculiarities of the use of realities in the work of Taras Shevchenko "Katerina" and their translation into English. We have given an ideographic classification of lexical units - Ukrainian realities in fiction and analyzed such means of their translation as calque, renomination, transcription with explanation, the introduction of neologism, the principle of generic-species replacement, which allows  conveying (approximately) the content of the realities by a broader, general meaning, that is, the reception of generalization. The results of our analysis allow us to make an ideographic classification of Ukrainian realities that are used in fiction, as well as to summarize the prevalence of their means of translation. Prospects for further research are seen in the analysis of certain translation failures in the translation of realities and to offer the best options for their translation.

This study aims to analyze the cultural meaning of monument building in the life of Toba Batak tribe in Pangururan and Palipi Subdistricts, Samosir Regency. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods that are relevant to the phenomenology methodology. The results of this study indicate that the general meaning of the monument building process contained in the lives of Batak Toba community in Samosir Regency can be categorized into two, namely the meaning of the monument buiding in terms of religion and culture. From the aspect of religion consists of (1) The Meaning of the Sacralization (2 ) The Meaning of the Position of Soul (3) The Meaning of the Blessing (4) The Meaning of Strengthening Alliance Bonds. From the aspect of monument building culture is considered a unifying bond between all descendants of the clan, and the ancestral spirits of clans, namely: (1) The Meaning of the Unifying Clans (2) The Meaning of the Conflict Resolution (3) The Meaning of the Raising Social Status. (4) The Meanings as Stamps for Regional Ownership (5) The Meanings of Clans Identity (6) The Meaning of Social Prestige Exhibition.

Las prácticas rituales poseen un “rostro sonoro” que en varias ocasiones pasa desapercibido o es descrito tangencialmente en los estudios antropológicos. En el presente artículo se explora la dimensión sonora del sistema ritual de la región Huasteca, denominado “el costumbre”. Se muestran los diferentes complejos sígnicos que se configuran y transmiten a partir de los sonidos, que al ponerse en escena refuerzan el sentido general de cada uno de los rituales que los integran. Este estudio explora cómo la música trae a la memoria un conjunto de vivencias que se entrelazan para dar lugar a una experiencia presente, cargada de una fuerte emoción. Emotividad que hace verosímil el mundo sagrado.Abstract: Ritual practices have a “sound face” which is frequently unnoticed or is tangentially described in anthropological studies. This paper explores the sound dimension of the ritual system in the Huasteca region, called “el costumbre”.  We present the different sign systems, formed and transmitted by sounds, that when staged reinforce the general meaning of each one of the included rituals. We explore how music brings to mind a collection of experiences that are interlaced in order to create a new experience, charged with strong emotion. These emotions make the sacred world plausible.Résumé : Les pratiques rituelles possèdent un « visage sonore » souvent méconnu, que les études anthropologiques n’abordent souvent qu’en passant. Cet article explore la dimension sonore du système rituel dénommé El Costumbre (« le coutume ») de la région de la Huasteca afin d’en extraire les différents complexes de signes, organisés et transmis à partir des sons, qui, une fois mis en scène, renforcent le sens général de chacun des rituels dont ils font partie. Cette étude porte sur le rôle que joue la musique pour rappeler un ensemble de vécus qui s’entremêlent pour donner naissance à l’expérience présente et à sa charge émotionnelle. Charge émotionnelle qui rend le monde sacré plausible et vraisemblable.

The formation mechanism of cross-city transportation network resilience occupies an important position in cross-city transportation network resilience management. This study analyzes the constituent elements of the cross-city transportation network and their interrelationships, and the connotation of cross-city transportation network resilience is defined from the general meaning of system resilience. Combining with the connotation of cross-city transportation network resilience, the specific formation process of cross-city transportation network resilience is analyzed and summarized from three stages, including resisting disturbance, absorbing disturbance, and function recovery. Taking cross-city transportation network nodes and systems as specific objects, the static and dynamic formation path of cross-city transportation network resilience is condensed. Based on the standard linear solid model, a theoretical model is constructed and solved for revealing the formation mechanism of cross-city transportation network resilience. Finally, the theoretical model of cross-city transportation network resilience proposed in this study is used for analyzing the China railway network resilience.
