Pedagogical expertise is considered as a system-forming scientific technology in education, which has a significant impact on the practice of teaching and the formation of a creative personality, actually becoming a method of scientific cognition in the context of improving the quality of education. It is advisable to design all programs of higher pedagogical education according to the deductive principle-from the general content component presented in the structure of technologies of pedagogical expertise of educational projects and programs, to private methodological practice-oriented recommendations proposed by experts as an indicative basis for teacher actions. The role of an expert and his personal qualities are of particular importance in the composition of pedagogical expertise. Based on the professional analysis of the expert's activity, his personal portrait is formed. In pedagogical expertise, the ratio of the objective (various normative documents regulating the activities of an expert) and the subjective is crucial, when the quality of the examination depends on the competence, experience of an expert specialist, his wisdom, intuition and creative insight. The analytical review of the mistakes of pedagogical experts should be used as the basis of the methodology for training teachers and expert specialists in the field of education.

This study aimed to capture how cooperating teachers of physical education are positioned in the supervision role defined in the normative documents of the higher institutions and how they interpret their actions at school. Twenty-six cooperating teachers involved in initial training programs for physical education teachers of four public universities in Portugal were interviewed. For data analysis, the construction of situational maps (Clarke, 2003), based on two coding cycles (open and focused) were used to emerge and establish connections between the structural elements of training (Charmaz, 2006). The results indicate that the way that the cooperating teachers assume the role of mentors is guided by the normative documents and configured by the relational dynamics established with the faculty supervisor. The role that cooperating teachers assume are predominantly instrumental, of support and management of the pre-service teachers’ academic and professional learning. The partnership established between school and university based on a collaborative and complementary relationship had emerged as necessary and as a priority for the quality of the training process.

The issues of nursing staff shortage and quality of their work are relevant for the health-care management today. In this regard, the established image of the profession is important, as it can lead to the unpopularity of nursing profession and affect the effectiveness of the treatment process through the self-perception of nurses. So studying the image of nursing in social media is of particular relevance today. The role of social media in dissemination of opinions is increasing every day. Unloading (31613 messages) from social media was made using keywords for 2017. А random subsample (403 messages) was formed from them, coded manually by coders (authors). According to analysis of the obtained data, nursing is perceived as a “female profession,” a nurse is a Caucasoid woman in a white uniform. She works at public hospitals, her work is discussed primarily in the context of the specialties of obstetrics, gynecology and pediatrics. Her status is rather low, nursing is not perceived as an intellectual and promising profession. Messages about nurses are mostly neutral, emotionally colored messages are devoted mainly to the personal qualities of nurses. Autoimage (self-perception) of nurses is poor. In conclusion, there is given a number of recommendations for improving the image of nurses. Implementation of organizational changes may contribute to enhancing the prestige of the profession: introducing special insignia for nurses, designating career prospects. It is also possible for these purposes to conduct an information policy aimed at demonstrating the attractive aspects of nursing and emphasizing the gender neutrality of the profession.

A considerable amount of research has been done on the figure of the CEO, approaching it from many angles. Our analysis focuses on the role played by the independent director in the supervision and turnover of the chief corporate executive. In the process, we have carried out a comprehensive reflection on the independent director, consulting the latest literature and including the results of the most recent empirical evidence. We have noticed that the role of the independent director often goes beyond the tasks that are usually considered specific to this function, namely, supervision of the company’s senior management. However, the directors’ independence cannot be built by requirements. It is a personal quality of the individual that transcends the various problems raised by agency theory. We believe that correct CEO supervision can only be effectively undertaken if the independent directors have these personal qualities. It seems that companies with a larger number of independent directors are more likely to replace the CEO when performance is not as expected. This can only happen if the independent directors enjoy effective independence.

Educational technology is part of a scientific that is mostly engaged in education. Actually, this scientific has significant benefits, especially in the field of education. However, many people do not understand the role of educational technology in education. This can be seen from the diverse perspectives of society on educational technology. When it is associated with educational technology science, there are many views of the community that are very opposite to the scientific clusters of educational technology taught from lectures. So, the purpose of this study was to find out the various perspectives of society regarding educational technology itself. This paper is presented with the addition of theoretical educational technology clumps. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. This study used indirect interviews, which means giving unstructured questions but still focusing on what will be researched. The subjects in this study were six participants who were people outside the educational technology scientific clump. In addition, the author also conducted a literature review which was taken from six articles from three different journals. The results of this study reveal a diverse picture of views on educational technology. All participants argue that educational technology has a significant role, but in terms of the dominant conception they still do not understand it like other scientific. This article introduces Cognitive Health Counseling 40+ (CH.CO40+), an individualized intervention that is conceptually based on the orchestration model of quality-of-life management ( Martin & Kliegel, 2010 ) and aims at improving satisfaction with cognitive health in adults aged 40 years and older. We describe the theoretically deduced characteristics of CH.CO40+, its target group, its multifactorial nature, its individualization, the application of subjective and objective measures, the role of participants as agents of change, and the rationale for choosing participants’ satisfaction with their cognitive health as main outcome variable. A pilot phase with 15 middle-aged and six older adults suggests that CH.CO40+ attracts, and may be particularly suitable for, subjective memory complainers. Implications of the pilot data for the further development of the intervention are discussed.
