In this paper features for creation of educational process in a military higher education institution when studying “Engineering and Computer Graphics” discipline are revealed. Military education is a part of the Russian Federation’s education system. In conditions of the Armed Forces modernization and development of new methods and ways for conduct of operations the young officers’ perfection acquires a big significance. Requirements applicable to military specialists reflect the concept of educational activity in general – possession of strong theoretical knowledge and formed practical skills at the tasks solution. The big part in the system of development for military engineering education is assigned to practical orientation of training. Future officer has to understand the processes for design, production and operation of cars and mechanisms with varying complexity, therefore be able to work with design documentation of any kind. In the course of “Engineering and Computer Graphics” discipline studying cadets are learned to read and carry out drawings, to develop their technical support, and also to design and model both two, and three-dimensional objects on a plane and in space. The efficiency of graphic training in a greater degree depends on educational activity’s organization. Application of education traditional forms in combination with innovative practice and methods, development of the system of didactic tools focused on increase in educational process’s intensity is the most optimal one for achievement of training maximum results. During realization of the tasks set by the state for training of competent military specialists, the educational process based on principles of personally focused training with developing orientation has been organized by “Engineering and Computer Graphics” discipline teachers of Military Academy of Troops Air Defense of Russian Federation Armed Forces. In the heritage field, the demand for fast and efficient 3D digitization technologies for historic remains is increasing. Besides, 3D digitization has proved to be a promising approach to enable precise reconstructions of objects. Yet, unlike the digital acquisition of cultural goods in 2D widely used today, 3D digitization often still requires a significant investment of time and money. To make it more widely available to heritage institutions, the Competence Center for Cultural Heritage Digitization at the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research IGD has developed CultLab3D, the world’s first 3D mass digitization facility for collections of three-dimensional objects. CultLab3D is specifically designed to automate the entire 3D digitization process thus allowing to scan and archive objects on a large-scale. Moreover, scanning and lighting technologies are combined to capture the exact geometry, texture, and optical material properties of artefacts to produce highly accurate photo-realistic representations. The unique setup allows to shorten the time needed for digitization to several minutes per artefact instead of hours, as required by conventional 3D scanning methods.

Current trends in the development of the education sector require significant changes in approaches, methods, techniques and tasks of training. The challenges that arise need to be addressed, which will make it possible to increase the competitiveness of higher education seekers after their graduation, and, as a consequence, to improve the competitiveness of the higher education institution itself. The tasks that arise are: a change in the approach to the educational process of research and teaching staff, which must consist in the interest of teachers themselves to improve the quality of educational services they provide; a change in the approach to the educational process of learners – students, listeners, cadets, etc. – that is, it is necessary to transform those who are taught into those who learn; definition of criteria for the effectiveness of education, which is obviously not only in achieving program learning outcomes. The main criteria of efficiency of educational activity are formulated in the article. These criteria are obviously not only the amount and strength of knowledge and skills, competencies and program learning outcomes. Using only such criteria, it is impossible to fully assess the current requirements for the effectiveness of education. In the conditions of market relations, economic crisis, global mental restructuring, the main criterion for the effectiveness of training of the specialist is the ability to employ him in various positions after graduation, and possibly during training. What is more important is the ability of the job seeker to self-improve and master various competencies when changing functional responsibilities. That is, a higher education student must have a wide range of competencies, not only deep ones, which will enable him to develop under certain conditions in the performance of functional duties. Such tasks make it possible to solve the use of elements of dual education, distance technology using modern technological solutions and motivation of participants in the educational process to self-development. The article concludes that the mutual combination of dual education with distance learning technologies should ultimately solve the urgent problem of training an experienced specialist with a high level of competence who will be able to perform production tasks without additional internship or training after graduation.

The article discusses the methods of using the AutoCad graphic editor for creating three-dimensional objects. The possibilities of three-dimensional modeling in the AutoCad graphic editor for optimizing the educational process of bachelors of technical specialties are also considered. The article analyzes the best ways to create mechanical engineering drawings. The most developed software tool for the production of design documentation is AutoCAD - a universal graphic design system. Creating models of any complexity in space by using this graphic editor, the user will be able to see their relative position, estimate the distance between them. The model can be freely moved in space, viewing many options. The ability to control the point of view allows to conveniently select the view of the 3D model that is being developed. Zooming, panning in real time with the ability to freely rotate the camera around the model provide the ability to quickly view objects from any point of view. The article provides examples of choosing the most optimal option for creating a three-dimensional model. The traditional way to create a 3D model drawing is to make 2D views of the model. When creating a flat drawing, there is a possibility of error when making projections, since they are created independently from each other and consist of several images. It is rather difficult to represent an object in space from a flat drawing. At present, modern software graphic editors are aimed at creating three-dimensional models that allow to create realistic models and, on their basis, get two-dimensional projections. Graphic editor AutoCad allows to create three-dimensional objects based on standard commands, in the form of a cylinder, cone, box, torus, etc., when editing which you can get the desired shapes. After creating a three-dimensional model, the user can get its two-dimensional projections not only on the main planes, but also on any plane at will. The 3D modeling method allows you to create a complex drawing with any number of images based on a 3D model. There are ways to create 2D plane drawings from a 3D model and the ability to edit ready-made designs that can be inserted from model space into paper space. Editing takes place by changing the parameters of a 3D object in model space, and these changes are automatically reflected in paper space. This method allows us to use the tools to quickly create a system of 3-4 linked views for a 3D AutoCad model.

Currently, they present design objects in the form of three-dimensional models and drawings. Accordingly, when training students at a technical university, it is necessary to pay attention to design and graphic disciplines. From the first course of study it is necessary show to students the relationship of the studied graphic disciplines with their future professional activities; stimulate their cognitive interest and motivation for learning and creativity with the help of Academic Olympics, that will help to achieve a high level of students' professional competence. So, one of the main tasks for higher education in the context of implementation of modern Federal State Educational Standards is the formation of the necessary professional competencies and improving the quality of students’ engineering training in technical high educational institutions [16; 25]. The use in the educational process of multilevel creative graphic tasks performed by means of three-dimensional computer graphics helps students to perfect themselves in further educational and professional activities. Creative tasks for Academic Olympics contribute to the development of students' creative potential through creative self-realization. Tasks for Academic Olympics are creative problems in engineering graphics with elements of project activities. For creative self-realization in graphic activities, it is important not only to be aware of graphic tasks, but also to find in them personally meaningful sense, which is manifested when a student implements his own ideas in situations that are significant for him and in a familiar, meaningful environment for him. For this, to students are offered Academic Olympics tasks of various types: propaedeutic (developing the students’ general readiness for graphic activity) and creative tasks with elements of project activity, i.e., creative project tasks. It is necessary also to develop Academic Olympics tasks taking into account the students' training program.

The military-pedagogical process is a complex socio-psychological phenomenon. Its essence lies in purposeful, motivated, substantive organizational and educational activities of all its subjects. This activity is aimed at preparing the military specialists who are able to successfully perform their functional duties both in peacetime and in modern war conditions. The strength of the country's defense capability and combat readiness in modern conditions is ensured by a high level of intellectual potential of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This potential is being formed as a set of potentials of highly qualified personnel of military specialists. Today the task of reforming military education is not limited only to structural and functional transformations of the educational base and restructuring of the educational process. It is necessary to create an environment (a system of higher military education) for constant spiritual and professional improvement of the individual and motivation to achieve a high level of military professionalism. Access of educational institutions to modern information technologies contributed to the emergence of interactive forms of learning and transformation of the subject of learning from a passive participant and its active involvement in the learning process. Given the development of digital technologies and the difficult state in which Ukraine found itself due to military action and the negative epidemiological situation, it is appropriate to create a system of higher military education using the subject-activity approach and the introduction of forms of distance learning. It is proposed to direct the military-pedagogical training of specialists along six lines. The assessment of the level of conformity of a serviceman's actual professional qualities with the requirements to the occupied military position is important in the professional-psychological selection in the Armed Forces. That is why it is expedient to develop a model of recreation of intellectual potential of servicemen and a methodology for evaluating the general level of intellectual resources of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the basis of construction of such model it is offered to put directions of military-pedagogical training of military specialists together with professionally important criteria of evaluation of recreating of moral-psychological qualities of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
