The test used for the relationship of obesity whit student achievement is the fisher’s exact test while the test used for the relationship of parental work with student achievement is the Kolmogorov Smirnov test. The results of the study are respondents with type 1 obesity with good achievement scores of 27 respondents (87.1%) and achievement scores of less than 4 respondents (12.9%). While respondents with type 2 obesity with good performance scores were 9 respondents (56.2%) and achievement scores were less than 7 respondents. And the work of parents as PNS with a good achievement value of 15 respondents (93.8%) and less achievement scores of 1 respondent (1.6%). While respondents with the work of parents as entrepreneurs with good achievement scores of 10 respondents (55.6%) and achievement scores of less than 8 respondents (44.4%). The population in this study are all teachers SMK Farmasi Ikasari Senior High School Pekanbaru, amounting to 55 people. Sampling was performed using saturated sample. Data analysis is done by using validity, reliability, classical assumptions, multiple linear regression, F test and t-test. The tests are performed in order to determine the relationship between the independent variable with the dependent variable. Based on the result of the research, the leadership, motivation, and performance are influenced on teacher’s performance. It is proved by finding the score of R=0.769. It means that there was a correlation among leadership, motivation and discipline on teachers’ performance at SMK Farmasi Ikasari Senior High School Pekanbaru. Meanwhile the score of R was 56,7%. It means that there was a contribution of leadership, motivation, and discipline on teachers’ performance. Furthermore, it has positive contribution on teachers’ performance by finding F score is 24.800 and level significant is 0.000. Partially, there was a positive significant effect of leadership variable, motivation, and discipline on teachers; performance at SMK Farmasi Ikasari Senior High School pekanbaru. The details of the linear regression as follow: Y = 14.359 + 0,149X1 + 0,185X2 + 0,376X3 and sig. 0.048, 0.040, 0.000 are lower than Alpha 5%. In the past few years, suicide cases are increasing in Indonesia. There is a probability that self-injury may be done before someone commits a suicide. An ideation is formed before someone does self-injury, which is used as a way to solve problems. There are few reasons as to why someone thinks about doing self-injury, internally or externally, and one of those reasons is loneliness. The main purpose of this study is to define the relationship between loneliness and deliberate self-injury ideation –the thoughts teenagers have regarding self-injury. Using accidental non-random sampling technique, 316 participants from both gender are taken from a senior high school in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. Instruments used in this study are ESLI (Emotional-Social Loneliness Inventory) and NSSI Ideation Questionnaire. Result shows a very significant correlation between both variables (sig = 0.000) with correlation r = 0.274.

The ability to think critically is needed in the 21st century so that students must have the ability to think critically.Withthese abilities, students are more able to master the concept of material, able to provide further explanation and provide alternative problem-solving so that students are expected to be able to solve problems in the environment in the future. This study aims to analyze the problem-based instruction model with effective video applied to senior high school 1 Mayong students on the ability to think critically and analyze the problem-based instruction model with video so that it can improve the critical thinking skills of senior high school 1 Mayong students. This study used pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. The sample of this study were students of class XI MIPA 3 and XI MIPA 4 Senior High School 1 Mayong which were determined using purposive sampling technique. The independent variable is a problem-based instruction model with an immune system video media. Dependent variables besides critical thinking skills are also conservation attitudes that are expected to arise during the learning process. The researcher collected the data using test questions and observation sheets. The results of data analysis showed that students' critical thinking skills reached 92.5% completeness. On average, every aspect of students' critical thinking skills are in critical and very critical criteria and the average conservation value of students is honest, creative and humanist in good, good and very good criteria. The average N-gain in both classes is included in the criteria of medium (0.69) and high (0.71). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the problem-based instruction model with effective video is applied to senior high school 1 Mayong students towards critical thinking skills and problem-based instruction models with videos can improve the critical thinking skills of senior high school 1 Mayong students

There are many factors which affect the academic achievement: internal and external factors. The internal factors include the physical and psychological factors (interest, intelligence, motivation, attention, readiness, and maturity). In academic year of 2011/2012, STIKes Yarsis has added one test, the psychological test, to determine the candidates to pass the student’s admission test. So far, the data haven’t been managed as the important information for the educational management. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to find out the bivariate and multivariate correlation between intelligence and motivation toward the student’s academic achievement. The design of study was analytic-cross sectional. The population involved the students of Program of Study of S-1 in the academic year 2011/2012. 106 respondents were chosen as the samples by using simple random sampling technique. The independent variable was the level of intelligence and motivation, whereas the dependent variable was the academic achievement. The data collection was done by using secondary data, which were then analyzed by using simple and multiple linear regression tests. The result of study in bivariate correlation analysis showed that there was a correlation between intelligence and motivation toward the student’s academic achievement. The independent variable playing a role in predicting the GPA (grade-point average) was motivation (p = 0.028). The value of R-Squared was 0.045 which meant that 4.5% of the academic achievement was affected by motivation, whereas the rest of them were affected by other factors. Moreover, the result of analysis described that GPA = 3.097 + 0.060 * motivation. In conclusion, in bivariate correlation analysis, intelligence and learning motivation had a correlation with academic achievement. In multivariate correlation analysis, intelligence didn’t have any correlation with academic achievement, whereas motivation had correlation with academic achievement. Furthermore, academic achievement had a relationship with motivation (4.5%), and the rest of them had a correlation with other factors, such as campus environment, learning media, curriculum, lecturers, social support, etc

This study aims to identify students quantity who are having the misconception on Newton's laws of motion concept using a Three-tiered Test. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling technique and has been conducted on 56 students at Senior High School. A three-tier "Newton’s Law Of Motion Test" with 10 items is using as instrument to collected date in this study. The results showed that the quantity of students who experienced misconception with the highest category is on the concept of determining the relationship between the mass of objects and the time required for free fall that is equal to 89.3%. While the lowest category is in the concept of explaining the relationship between acceleration, mass and force with the time required for the object to fall freely that is equal to 26.8%.
