This study explores harmonious lives among religious groups in the Winong village, Banjarnegara. It describes both religious and social lives including factors that reinforcing the creation of harmony among religious groups in the village. Based on Inter-religious harmony theories, the study shows that Winong is a village with differs cultures and religious communities but it is able to maintain harmony. The harmony among religious beliefs in Winong , as shown between the Ahmadis and NU community, is manifested not only in terms of toleration and passive co-existence, but also in the equality of all elements in the society which is embodied in the social, culture and the political lives.

Abstract The Wukan Incident attracted extensive attention both in China and around the world, and has been interpreted from many different perspectives. In both the media and academia, the focus has very much been on the temporal level of the Incident. The political and legal dimensions, as well as the implications of the Incident in terms of human rights have all been pored over. However, what all of these discussions have overlooked is the role played by religious force during the Incident. The village of Wukan has a history of over four hundred years, and is deeply influenced by the religious beliefs of its people. Within both the system of religious beliefs and in everyday life in the village, the divine immortal Zhenxiu Xianweng and the religious rite of casting shengbei have a powerful influence. In times of peace, Xianweng and casting shengbei work to bestow good fortune, wealth and longevity on both the village itself, and the individuals who live there. During the Wukan Incident, they had a harmonizing influence, and helped to unify and protect the people. Looking at the specific roles played by religion throughout the Wukan Incident will not only enable us to develop a more meaningful understanding of the cultural nature and the complexity of the Incident itself, it will also enrich our understanding, on a divine level, of innovations in social management.

Diversity in Indonesia is a gift from God, including religious differences. This difference sometimes become conflicts in the community, for example the conflict in Poso, Ambon, Wamena and others, but not all different regions always have conflicts. Instead of, it looks safe, peaceful, and harmonious therefore the researcher is interested in examining this diversity. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the harmonization of socio-cultural interactions and the causes of socio-cultural interactions in the village of Lolibu. The type of research is descriptive qualitative. The technique of determining informants is by purposive sampling, and the technique of data collection is done by observation participant, indepth interviews, and document studies. Data analysis techniques are done by (1) data reduction, (2) presentation, (3) verification. The results of this study indicate that socio-cultural interaction between religious communities in Lolibu Village, can be described as follows: First, the harmonization of social-cultural interactions between religious communities such as, the existence of regional ties, mutual respect and respect between religious adherents, the harmonization of the birocrate of Lolibu Village. Second, factors that cause of social and cultural interactions between religious communities such as traditional and cultural units, mutual cooperation (Pohamba-hambai), and marriage.Keywords: Harmonization, social, culture, religious people, Lolibu village

No major citizenship reform has been adopted in Lebanon since the creation of the Lebanese citizenship in 1924. Moreover, access to citizenship for foreign residents does not depend on established administrative rules and processes, but instead on ad hoc political decisions. The Lebanese citizenship regime is thus characterized by immobilism and discretion. This paper looks at the relationship between citizenship regime and confessional democracy, defined as a system of power sharing between different religious groups. It argues that confessional democracy hinders citizenship reform and paves the way to arbitrary naturalization practices, and that, in turn, the citizenship regime contributes to the resilience of the political system. In other words, the citizenship regime and the political system are mutually reinforcing.

Constitutional protections for religious freedom (and related freedoms of conscience, belief and association and equality), once interpreted by courts and tribunals, apply in a precedential manner to future cases. They have an influence well beyond the particular community to which they first applied. For this reason, religious communities have increasingly banded together and sought to intervene or even, on occasion, to initiate legal actions asserting or defending their rights. This article reviews some of the principles around the freedom of religion as understood in South Africa and Canada to show how courts have understood the freedom of religion in its social context. In addition, interfaith cooperation is discussed with particular reference to the recent process which led to the formation of a Charter of Religious Rights and Freedoms pursuant to Section 234 of the South African Constitution (which is attached to the article). This section, a unique provision in any constitution, allows for the creation of additional Charters to give greater specificity to the general language of the Constitution itself. As such, it is an encouragement to civil society to determine what it thinks are the important provisions that should be spelled out to give guidance to politicians and the judiciary. Awide variety of religious groups participated in the creation of the Charter. The Charter does not claim to be, nor could it be, exhaustive of such concerns but demonstrates that religions can cooperate across a host of issues in education, health care, employment and other issues. The next stage – passage into law, is still in the future but the first important hurdle has been crossed with the signing of the Charter in October of 2010. The Charter might be a template for other countries though changes would be necessary to deal with local issues.

A perspective is offered on the social and historical developments surrounding the formation of Korlai Creole Portuguese (kcp), a creole language spoken in the village of Korlai, located around 150 kms south of Mumbai. I argue that lower-caste Hindus who were enslaved by the Portuguese in the Chaul-Korlai area were instrumental in the creation of kcp. I claim that kcp formed by 1530 and that it has been maintained up to the present day due in large part to the isolation of its speakers because of their religion, their caste and their occupation.

The article examines the state and current trends in the social development of the village as a determinant of the mechanism for managing its economic development. His main problems were identified, including those related to demographic processes, migration, availability of jobs, welfare, accessibility to social infrastructure services. The necessity of elaboration and implementation of an innovative model of social development of the village is proved, which implies application of an integrated approach to the solution of existing problems and demands the implementation of transformations in the system and structure of the mechanisms of state regulation by this process both at the central and local levels. Strategic directions concerning overcoming of negative tendencies of social development of village in the context of formation of innovative economy are systematized. In our opinion, strategic directions of further social development of the village should be as following: Not only the creation of new jobs, but places that are especially attractive to young people. Among the latter, there may be rural green, ecological and agro-tourism, the development of which contributes to the creation of new jobs, the preservation of ecological balance, and the restoration of natural and social resources. After all, in order to provide these types of tourism, it is necessary to build a boarding house, a micro-hotel for tourists in a village, which means to activate the construction industry, retail trade, and service life. The formation of the public opinion on the importance and prestige of agrarian labour by guaranteeing an effective system of its social motivation and protection. The comprehensive assistance to the restoration and further development of the social infrastructure of the village, in particular such important areas as: cultural and domestic services, medical care, construction of well-organized and equipped housing. The overcoming of disproportions at the level of service of rural residents. It should be promoted by increasing the solvent demand of the population for social humanitarian services, which necessitates the expansion of the industrial segment of the economy in the village. The enhancement of authorities’ power and the capacity of communities to carry out the process of controlling and stimulating rational resource use in agricultural enterprises of all forms of ownership, attracting investment in the industrial, social and environmental spheres of rural territories. That is, new technologies, new non-standard forms of management, new approaches to the organization of local income distribution and social services must come from the city to the village. The observance of the minimum funding for rural development (at least 1% of GDP). The creation of the fund for support of the social development of the village at the expense of deductions of economic entities of all forms of the ownership in the amount of 1.5% of their income. The introduction of preferential taxation for newly created enterprises in the village in the case of the innovative nature of their production activities, provision of socially necessary services or the implementation of infrastructural provision of these territories, etc.

Te political economy encompasses the management of revenues and spending to achieve the social welfare of the community. Hence, development is not solely emphasized economic growth but also equity. Tis article discusses the political economy according to Ibn Khaldun, written in his book, Muqaddimah. Tis study concludes that that political budgets must be carried out in a balanced manner by establishing budget certainty and increasing the discipline in use of the budget. Legislators make laws, referring to the creation of income sources so that the community will be able to meet their needs independently, and thegovernment can gather capabilities to carry out their duties and functions. Ibn Khaldun saw budget management as a means to solve public matters while also factoring the interests of rulers and governments.

Darok hamlet is located in the bonti sub district of sanggau district. Has many tributaries such as the Hisi, river the Himua and Tangis, the Darok and the Bonti river. Darok hamlet has good natural forest. Has the status of protected forest areas Mount Budu, Iron Mountain, there are protected plants Amorphophallus titanium dan Rafflesia tuan mudaee young master one of West Kalimantan endemic. There are animals like tringgiling, jungle cats, and proboscis mongkeys which are still widely around the river. Darok village is also still thick with ‘Gawai’ traditions. The purpose of ths study was to record the potential of ecotourism and develop interpretations of the ecotourism potential of the village of Darok.  The method used is exploration and ascending coordinates and direct interviews with hamlet heads, custom temenggung and local communities. The results of explroration there are 28 attractions that can support the interpretation of ecotourism potential, namely 18 physical potentials, 3 potential rare and endemic plants, 7 culture potentials. The results of the exploration were develoved into two tour package pathways, namely the protected forest path package and social culture this package was made based on field research. The protected forest package is on the heavy side, the settlement is 3 km away, there are potential waterfalls cascades, cascade amorphophallus titanium and others. While the social culture route in the north is 1 km away there is potential for tembawang forest, rice fields, traditional houses, and othersKeywords: Ecotourism, Interpretation, Pathway Interpretation.

The article examines the political potential of the two programs and practices of nation-building at the beginning of the twentieth century associated with all-Russian and Belarusian national movements. The all-Russian project was formulated by the Prime Minister of the Russian Empire P.A. Stolypin. He proceeded from the idea of gradual and inevitable erosion of the estate system and democratization of the social system of Russia. Stolypin envisioned the creation of the political nation, the core of which would be the Russian people, quite traditionally understood as the trinity of Great Russians, Little Russians and Belarusians. According to Stolypin, the creation of the Russian nation led not to the restriction of the rights of ethnic minorities, but to their gradual expansion in the future, but on condition of loyalty to the state system and the national development of Russia. Until 1917, Russian nationalism in the Northwest region was much more influential than Belarusianism. The latter was represented by only a small circle of «Nasha Niva» journal supporters. Unlike Stolypin’s project, Belarusianism had no impact on any significant part of the local population.

Philosophical treatments of core value concepts often abstract from the troubled history and fractured present of the societies to which those concepts are meant to apply. In the case of the political tradition of liberal democratic thought, stretching from the social contract theories of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries up through contemporary writers, the notion of individual freedom or liberty is central. However, often that idea, and the assumption of its foundational value for persons, is specified from the perspective of those who enjoy it rather than those struggling to attain it. Moreover, the social spaces that theories of justice that locate freedom as a central value have continue to bracket out of existence the patterns of enslavement, oppression and domination that mark all social spaces. This article attempts a reappraisal of certain dominant understandings of the idea of freedom in both historical and contemporary philosophical discourse in light of this alteration of perspective. Specifically, the current practices of coercive labor, trafficking, irregular labor migration, and other forms of “marginal” social lives are brought into focus in order to guide this reappraisal. The article argues that if we assess these conditions as modes of unfreedom then we must utilize an account of freedom that diverges significantly from those dominant notions. A sketch of this alternative, positive, conception of freedom is then offered.
