AI can be applied in various ways to the measurement of personality in psychology. Measuring the impact of a single gene on personality can be handled by AI technologies, at least technically, i.e., using supervised learning models of machine learning. The ABO blood type is a relatively easy biological marker to examine; therefore, people in many countries know their type, and its impact on the relationship with personality has been the subject of a large amount of research. In this study, we selected the ABO blood type as the target gene, examined its association with personality, and cross-checked the results with previous works. Two scales were used to measure personality: a) blood type personality traits extracted from previous studies, and b) the TIPI-J, a simplified version of the Big Five personality test. In the former, the AI was able to predict the respondents’ blood types with a higher probability than chance, while in the latter, the accuracy was within the range of chance. These obtained results were also discussed.

The calls for educational reform that have dominated the professional and lay literature for the past few years have been decidedly silent in discussing the role of special education either as a contributor or a solution to the problems being raised. As an introduction to this “Special Focus” on the relationship between general educational reform and special education, this article summarizes some of the more prominent reports with regard to their treatment (and nontreatment) of special education. The impact of proposed reforms for the conceptualization and operation of special education is the subject of the five articles that follow.

In the midst of dangerous circumstances and events and the thorny relations between Syria and Lebanon ,the issue of Syrian – Lebanese economic relations 1958 – 2000 came to confirm the depth of the relationship between the two counties and indicate the political tensions and the shadows it casts on economic relations. Perhaps the Syrian – Lebanese relations are among the strangest relations that exist between two countries or Even between two peoples , although it brings together a lot of special circumstances that are difficult to find in other countries , any event , even if it is fleeting , can be exploited in a way that harms the essence of the relationship in which interests may intersect between two ordinary countries that do not have any connection of historical weight or A specific geography , the Syrian – Lebanese relationship is , by virtue of history , concurrent with the emergence of the two states as political entities . This reason and others prompted me to choose this topic , which embodies the volume of trade and economic exchange between the two countries and clearly embodies the repercussions of the relationship , which passes from one period to another in a state of ebb and flow . This study sheds light on the economic relations between the two countries , although it is difficult to ignore the impact of the political conditions on them , as they are the main engine , and the decline in economic relations is only a reaction to the crisis policy in many cases . in writing this research , the researcher used the descriptive method of history , and he used an important number of sources that enriched the subject , such as the Lebanese – Syrian relations of the authors Antoine AL-Nashef and Khalil AL-Hindi , as well as the Lebanese – Syrian relations1985 -1943 issued by the Lebanese Documentation and Research Center and last but not least l hope this study will be successful in terms of providing information and facts to the lraqi offices and contributing to their enrichment and providing assistance to the lraqi researcher .

Abstract ABO blood type has been reported to be a predictor of poor prognosis in critically ill patients. Here, we aim to correlate different blood types with clinical outcomes in patients with severe burns. We conducted a single-center retrospective cohort study by enrolling patients with severe burn injuries (≥40% TBSA) between January 2012 and December 2017. Baseline characteristics and clinical outcomes were compared between disparate ABO blood types (type O vs non-O type). Multivariate logistic and linear regression analyses were performed to identify an association between ABO blood type and clinical outcomes, including in-hospital mortality, the development of acute kidney injury (AKI), and hospital or ICU length of stay. A total of 141 patients were finally enrolled in the current study. Mortality was significantly higher in patients with type O blood compared with those of other blood types. The development of AKI was significantly higher in patients with blood type O vs non-O blood type (P = .001). Multivariate analysis demonstrated that blood type O was independently associated with in-hospital mortality and AKI occurrence after adjusting for other potential confounders. Our findings indicated the blood type O was an independent risk factor of both increased mortality and the development of AKI postburn. More prudent and specific treatments are required in treating these patients to avoid poor prognosis.

Background: Varying single center data exist regarding the posttransplant outcomes of patients with single ventricle circulation, particularly following the Fontan operation. We sought to better elucidate these results in patients with congenital heart disease (CHD) through combining two national databases. Methods: The United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) transplantation database was merged with the Pediatric Health Information System (PHIS), an administrative database with 71% of UNOS patients matched. Patients undergoing transplantation at a PHIS hospital from 2006 to 2017 were categorized as single ventricle or biventricular strategy based on their diagnoses and procedures in 90% of patients. When known, single ventricle patients were further analyzed by their palliative stage post-Glenn or post-Fontan (known in 31%). Results: A total of 1,517 CHD transplantations were identified, 67% with single ventricle strategy (1,016). Single ventricle, biventricular, and indeterminate patients had similar survival (log-rank P > .1). Risk factors for mortality in patients with CHD were extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) support at transplant (hazard: 2.27), ABO blood type incompatibility (hazard: 1.61), African American recipient (hazard 1.42), and liver dysfunction (hazard 1.29). A total of 130 confirmed Fontan and 185 confirmed bidirectional Glenn patients underwent transplantation, each with survival equivalent to biventricular patients (log-rank P > .500). For Fontan patients, renal dysfunction (hazard: 5.40) and transplant <1 year after Fontan (hazard 2.82) were found to be associated with mortality. Conclusions: Single ventricle patients, as a group, experience similar outcomes as biventricular patients with CHD undergoing transplantation, and this extends to Fontan patients. Risk factors for mortality correlate with end-organ dysfunction as well as race and ABO blood type incompatibility in the CHD population.

The article considers the conceptualization of the world from the point of view of its methodological paradigm assessment in the context of the globalizing world. A retrospective analysis of the relationship between language and human speech activity is given. The authors explain the role of language as a socio-cultural phenomenon in the formation of worldview systems that develop in the consciousness with the help of minimal units of human experience in their ideal meaningful representation in special concepts, which allows the individual to think within the boundaries of a certain linguistic picture of the world. Analyzes the problems of the functioning of communicative norms with regard to the hierarchy of the spiritual representations of the world. The article attempts to consider the impact of the “blurring” of the information boundaries of the globalizing world on the cognitive abilities of the individual in the nomination, qualification of the subject, phenomenon, process.

Media multitasking (MMT) is a growing phenomenon among Indian college students. Previous studies on other nationalities highlight that user’s personality traits play an important role in engaging them in this behavior. Using a sample of Indian college students, this study examined the relationship between MMT and the Big Five personality traits. It also examined the impact of age on the dynamics between personality and MMT. Results suggested that after controlling the socio-demographic factors, traits like openness to experience, extraversion, and neuroticism are positively related with high MMT. However, these observations are found to be moderated by age. These findings may help designing separate intervention techniques for alleviating excessive MMT behavior for different age groups considering their personality traits.

Abstract Background: Endometrial carcinoma is one of the three major malignant tumors in gynecology. ABO blood type is associated with the prognosis of a variety of malignancies. This study assessed the relationship between ABO blood type and prognosis of endometrial carcinoma. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the relationship between ABO blood type and endometrial carcinoma prognosis in patients with primary endometrial carcinoma who underwent surgery from Shengjing Hospital affiliated to China Medical University from January 2012 to February 2017. Univariate analysis, multivariate analysis, and stratified analysis were performed. Results: In the multivariate analysis, 2009 FIGO stage (HR=2.806, 95% CI=1.289, 6.109), Pathological tissue type (HR=0.199, 95% CI=0.079, 0.503) was an independent and important risk factor for OS. We divided the ABO blood type into A and non-A groups, B and non-B groups, O and non-O groups, AB and non-AB groups, and failed to measure the significant results of OS. After we excluded 9 patients who had recurrence, metastasis, or death within 1 year of enrollment, the OS-significant results were similar to those described above. Conclusions: Our study suggest that there is no association between ABO blood type and EC prognosis, and additional cohort studies are needed for validation.

The subject of this research is the character of relationship between Chekhov family and the Orthodox male monastery “Voznesenskaya Davidova Pustyn”. The object of this research is the religious life of Chekhov family. The goal consists in analysis of the religious and secular contacts between the Chekhov family and the abode, clarification of the question of religiosity of the prominent Russian writer Anton Pavlovich Chekhov, as well as answering the question regarding the impact of spiritual crisis of the late XIX upon him. The article explores the life of Chekhov family in their estate in Melikhovo from 1892 to 1899. Chekhov’s parents, especially his father, was a deeply religious person. The article also discusses the relationship between the writer and monks of the monastery, his visits of worship services in the abode. Russian Chekhoviana is quite extensive; the period from 1990 to 2010’s marks the emergence of works dedicated to religious views of the writer. The article is prepared on the basis of archival and unpublished materials (particularly Chekhov’s correspondence and the diary of his father Pavel Egorovich). The modern publications usually underline the presence of staunch atheistic creeds. Sometimes his life in Melikhovo is described without mentioning contacts with the monastery. This article is first to determine the problem of relationship of Chekhov family and one of the male monasteries of Moscow Region.
