The study object of the research described in this chapter is the internationalization of the public university both in Portugal and Spain. In this research, these countries' university is modeled as an open system in which the institutional and national levels are highlighted. The regional and global levels are indirectly considered by the influence they have on the national and institutional levels. A two-fold analysis was conducted: first, a preliminary qualitative one about the present situation of both Spanish and Portuguese public universities internationalization, based on the available official data sources; second, the quantitative analysis of the results got in the responded questionnaires. This study may contribute to understanding of the nature of Portuguese and Spanish public universities' internationalization process as well as the guidelines that may better contribute to reinforce their internationalization.

Abstract: The purpose of the study is to examine whether there is an influence of reading interest and the role of supervisors partially or simultaneously on the success of writing the final assignment. The research was conducted at AMIK Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar by taking a sample of 78 people from 369 population populations using calculations using Slovin formula. The method used is the survey method and data collection carried out through observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale as a measuring device. The sampling technique using purposive sampling is a sampling technique of data sources with certain considerations, the analytical technique used is multiple lenier analysis techniques. In analyzing the data used several descriptive analysis techniques to determine the distribution of respondents' answers to the overall concept being measured, quantitative analysis using numbers and calculations with statistical methods. The results of the analysis show that partial reading interest has a positive and significant effect on the success of the final assignment, tcount> t table (3.167> 1.991), the role of partial supervisor is positive and significant effect on the success of the final assignment, tcount> t table (2.915> 1.991), reading interest and the role of supervisors simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the success of the final assignment where the value of Fcount> Ftable is (20,094> 3,12).

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by contextual learning using the Snowball throwing model of history learning to students in class XII IPS 2 at SMA Negeri 3 Magelang in the Even Semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. The method used is by using Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research uses 2 cycles which include planning, implementation, observation, and reflection activities. In this study the data sources come from observations, document texts, questionnaires, photos and learning outcomes test. The validity of the data in this study uses triangulation, which consists of triangulation of data sources and methods, while the data analysis uses quantitative and descriptive quantitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Snowball Throwing method which was developed with discussion models, oral question and answer can improve student learning outcomes. The Snowball throwing learning model was proven to be able to improve student learning outcomes. Constraints faced are using a long time, not all material can be absorbed by students, conditions and situations in using the Snowball Throwing method must be conducive.

Quantitative image analysis systems have been used for several years in research and quality control applications in various fields including metallurgy and medicine. The technique has been applied as an extension of subjective microscopy to problems requiring quantitative results and which are amenable to automatic methods of interpretation.Feature extraction. In the most general sense, a feature can be defined as a portion of the image which differs in some consistent way from the background. A feature may be characterized by the density difference between itself and the background, by an edge gradient, or by the spatial frequency content (texture) within its boundaries. The task of feature extraction includes recognition of features and encoding of the associated information for quantitative analysis.Quantitative Analysis. Quantitative analysis is the determination of one or more physical measurements of each feature. These measurements may be straightforward ones such as area, length, or perimeter, or more complex stereological measurements such as convex perimeter or Feret's diameter.
