Long-term researches showed that representatives of cultivars of Saintpaulia H. Wendl. are most long flowering plants of family of Gesneriaceae Dumort. in the protected soil of Oles Gonchar Dnepr National University Botanic Garden. The decorativeness of cultivars was determined on morphometric and biological descriptions: to correlation to the diameter of flower with a width and long sheet plate, to the form of flower, double, fringed of edge of petal, and also general proportion of corolla, the phenology of flowering and other. Descriptions of the most perspective cultivars of Saintpaulia getting top marks on the scale of estimation are considered. A brightness, chromaticity, maintenance of these qualities during all life of flower (more than 2 months at some cultivars), beauty and harmoniousness of picture at multicoloured Saintpaulia, was taken into account. Studies and observations were conducted in the stock conservatory of the laboratory of tropical and subtropical plants from 1997 to 2018.We used garden classification of The Special Comity of The African Violet Society of America – AVSA, scale of assessment of economic-biological and decorative features. A complex evaluation of 60 cultivars from the genus Saintpaulia from the laboratory of tropical and subtropical plants of the botanical garden of the DNU was carried out. It is educed, that most showily plants look with flowers, having a size of corolla, equal to the width of sheet plate, or less than her no more, than on one centimeter. Most objects driven to this article respond to this request and have the highest productivity of flowering. The evaluation of ornamental properties and prognosis of the succesful introduction of 20 taxsons (the sorts: EK-Boy Bykov, ЕК-Belaya Koroleva, EK-Zhemchujniy Zephyr, Arctic Frost, Blue Dragon, Kilauea et al) have been given. Perspective for cultivation in closed soil species have been selected. Modern varieties for indoors greenbelt setting have been listed. The got results served in future for creation of scale of cultivars of Saintpaulia and complex estimation of their decorativeness. All studied cultivars are used in an educational process.

The main task of the expeditions was the search for the following species of natural Siberian flora and theintroduction of live plants and seeds to the Botanical Garden named after acad. A. V. Fomin: Cotoneaster mongolicus.C. neo-popvii, C. tjulinae, which are currently presented in our collection. In addition, long-term phenological observations in the conditions of the north-west of Ukraine allowed to isolate new species from the imported material: C. kyachticus.C. logginovii. They are described in the materials of the XIV and XVII conferences “Problems of botany of Southern Siberiaand Mongolia”. A trip to the lake Zun-Torei was dedicated to the search for C. mongolicus. As it turned out later, under theC. mongolicus mother’s plant, we dug up a plant different from the mother’s plant, to which we gave the name C. logginovii. This article provides materials to identify the parents pair in the formation of this hybrid pitchfork. For this purpose, materials of herbarium collections from the vicinity of the lake were used Zun-Torei experienced local botanists, as wellas personal fees. Comparison of the samples allowed to establish their identity with C. mongolicus, as well as to certify it asone of the parents of C. logginovii. Morphological descriptions of annual shoots leaves, flowers, fruits, seeds of three typesof Cotoneasters: C. megalocarpus, C. mongolicus, C. yakuticus; micrographs of endocarp of bones of the previous speciesand C. logginovii, C. melanocarpus, C. uniflorus are given. The herbarium samples of C. mongolicus collected in the areaof the lake Zun-Torey were analyzed. The material is illustrated with photographs of plants introduced in the north-westof Ukraine (Kiev). The introduction of plants by the method of genus complexes by F. N. Rusanov allowed to create theCotoneaster collection, which includes 200 taxa of the genus. In the Botanical Garden named after acad. A .V. Fomin fromthe flora of Siberia preserved 11 species of Cotoneaster: C. commixtus, C. kyachticus. C laxiflorus. C. logginovii, C. lucidus,C. neo-popovii, C. megalocarpus, C. mongolicus, C. tjulinae, C. uniflorus, C. yakuticus.

The introduction and active use of information transmission and storage systems in the Ministry of Defense (MoD) of Ukraine form the need to develop ways of guaranteed removal of data from media after their use or long-term storage. Such a task is an essential component of the functioning of any information security system. The article analyzes the problems of guaranteed destruction of information on magnetic media. An overview of approaches to the guaranteed destruction of information on magnetic media of different types is presented, and partial estimates of the effectiveness of their application are given by some generally accepted indicators of performance evaluation. The article also describes the classification of methods of destruction of information depending on the influence on its medium. The results of the analysis revealed the main problems of application of software methods and methods of demagnetization of the information carrier. The issue of guaranteed destruction of information from modern SSD devices, which are actively used in the formation of new systems of information accumulation and processing, became particularly relevant in the article. In today's conditions of development of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, methods of mechanical and thermal destruction are more commonly used today. In the medium term, the vector of the use of information elimination methods will change towards the methods of physical impact by the pulsed magnetic field and the software methods that allow to store the information storage device, but this today requires specialists to develop new ways of protecting information in order to avoid its leakage.

Abstract. Predicting discharge in ungauged catchments or contaminant movement through soil requires knowledge of the distribution and spatial heterogeneity of hydrological soil properties. Because hydrological soil information is not available at a European scale, we reclassified the Soil Geographical Database of Europe (SGDBE) at 1:1 million in a hydrological manner by adopting the Hydrology Of Soil Types (HOST) system developed in the UK. The HOST classification describes dominant pathways of water movement through soil and was related to the base flow index (BFI) of a catchment (the long-term proportion of base flow on total stream flow). In the original UK study, a linear regression of the coverage of HOST classes in a catchment explained 79% of BFI variability. We found that a hydrological soil classification can be built based on the information present in the SGDBE. The reclassified SGDBE and the regression coefficients from the original UK study were used to predict BFIs for 103 catchments spread throughout Europe. The predicted BFI explained around 65% of the variability in measured BFI in catchments in Northern Europe, but the explained variance decreased from North to South. We therefore estimated new regression coefficients from the European discharge data and found that these were qualitatively similar to the original estimates from the UK. This suggests little variation across Europe in the hydrological effect of particular HOST classes, but decreasing influence of soil on BFI towards Southern Europe. Our preliminary study showed that pedological information is useful for characterising soil hydrology within Europe and the long-term discharge regime of catchments in Northern Europe. Based on these results, we draft a roadmap for a refined hydrological classification of European soils.
