This study aimed to explore of what factors that influencing gratitude of Muslim parents who having children with special needs. This study was a preliminary stage to develop an instrument of specific gratitude. The research methods used literature study and qualitative approach by in-depth interview. The subjects were six couple of parent from childrens with special needs. The result found that there were differences as well as similarities about concept of gratitude between Western perspective and Islam particularly in term of appreciation and expression. Gratitude emerged to respond something acquired covering things, happiness moments, ability to cope difficulties, and weaknesses. There was also having added value namely spiritual experience that pushed motive to getting closer toward Alloh SWT. Positive feeling and emotion emerged such as kindhearted, positive thinking, and optimistic in facing the life.

Abstract: Research on the application of e-learning in Extraordinary Schools (SLB) aims to increase the motivation and interest in learning for blind children. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods. A qualitative approach is an approach that is used to obtain data in more depth so that it can be used to develop theories and describe the reality and complexity of the phenomenon under study. The results of this study are the effectiveness of the application of e-learning in the form of a speech dictionary that is tailored to the needs of blind children. Novelty or novelty in this study is the application of e-learning for blind children. E-Learning has been applied to special schools and public schools, but its application is less adapted to the needs of Children with Special Needs (ABK). This research resulted in a novelty in the form of the application of e-learning tailored to the needs of special needs children, especially for blind children Abstrak: Penelitian mengenai penerapan e-learning pada Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan minat belajar anak tunanetra. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan kualitatif yaitu suatu pendekatan yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data secara lebih mendalam sehingga dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan teori dan mendeskripsikan realitas serta kompleksitas fenomena yang diteliti. Hasil dari penelitian adalah keefektifan penerapan e-learning berupa kamus bicara yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan anak tuna netra. Novelty atau kebaruan dalam penelitian ini adalah penerapan e-learning bagi anak tuna netra. E-Learning sudah diterapkan pada sekolah luar biasa maupun sekolah umum, namun penerapannya kurang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK). Penelitian ini menghasilkan kebaruan berupa penerapan e-learning yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan ABK, khususnya bagi anak tunanetra.

There is in religion that cannot be answered with the philosophy and science of knowledge but can only be answered by spiritual experience. Religion, philosophy, and science each exist in a separate space but must be integrated into human life. There are three things that become tools for humans to seek the truth, namely philosophy, science, and religion. Even though the purpose of these three aspects is to find the truth, they cannot be categorized as the same thing. This study aimed to identifying the comparison factors between science and religion based on philosophy science. The method used a qualitative approach with exploratory literature study. The results of this study concluded that between science and religion based on philosophy science had a very strong relationship, but there were several factors that differentiate between one another. Although religion and science both design and prepared the future of mankind, religion design was further, abstract, and gave peace of life after death, while science and technology were shorter and more concrete designs to faced life in this world. Science talked about knowledge, while religion defined about belief.

The fishermen are constantly faced with various challenges when working. In the challenges they face, they believe a supreme power will guide them in their work. The work experience of fishers with different challenges becomes a medium to build an understanding of God. This study aims to see how fishers understand God based on work experience. This study uses qualitative research methods with in-depth interview techniques, observation, and literature study. After collecting the data, the next step is to analyze the data based on the practical model. The study results found that the fishermen experienced God through storms, waves, and bad weather. The experience becomes a way to share and interpreting God in their lives. The catch of the fishermen also gives an understanding of God, who gives blessings to their lives. Through this reality, the fishermen rely on God to provide them with blessings, join in the work, and answer their prayers. God is the Source of Hope, and this is an attempt to contextualize theology based on the work experience of the fishermen. Putting hope in God is a form of faith in God's promises and inclusion.

This study aims to discover and explain the motives, experiences and meaning of conversion of religion from Christian Religion to Islam. The theory used is the theory of phenomenology that explains the structure of the conscious experience, as well as studying the form of experience from the point of view of the person who experienced it directly who has the openness and availability to be explored. This research method using qualitative approach through participant observation, depth interview, and literature study. The subject of research is the perpetrator who convert Christianity to Islam as the main informant who represented by purposive sampling technique which amounted to 7 people in Garut City. The result of the research shows that it produces several categorizations related to the motive of purpose (future), that is to get the happiness of the world and the hereafter, enlightenment, life balance, get ridho, magfiroh, togetherness and blessing, and motif because (past) marriage, perfect religion, acceptable common sense and one aqidah in couples. While the perpetrator's experience of happiness is born inward, gaining knowledge of the new teachings of religion, life becomes more valuable and affectionate. While the meaning contained for the actors is the change of life procedures, the procedures of worship, the movement of beliefs and guidelines in life.

<p>Revaluation of assets Property, Plant and Eguipment (PPE)  is carried out by a company with the aimed to provide financial statements  which are more fair and reasonable. However, the question arise about how is the tax treatment for this asset assessment. The lack of regulations that regulate it makes the author to be motivated to  research and hopefully can provide information to taxpayers and give suggestions to the tax authorities regarding how the tax treatment for this asset assessment. This research is using a qualitative approach with data collection through in-depth interview and literature study. The research conclude to eliminate all of the perception regarding the actual tax treatment, the tax regulator must always update or revise the tax regulations with changes or revisions made by the Financial Accounting Standards (SAK). This research is limited  only on the discussion of the tax treatment towards revaluation based on the Statement of Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) 16.</p>

This research focus on Subang Regency, West Java Province. This research objective is to knowing, discuss, and descripting about society appreciation of President/Vice President debates on television. This research using descriptive analytical with quantitative approach and supported by qualitative approach, the data collection technique using questionnaire, depth interview, literature study, and observation at research location. The result, majority of respondent classified as productive ages who has a fairy high political sensitivity. The agree and have need of President/VP debates show at television, although the debates show have a short running time, but the effect can increase the knowledge and insight about 2014 election, and can grow awareness and political maturity, can knowing the figure and debates topic to needed by society, include the work program and political appointments, knowing political image, popularity and capability of President/VP candidates. To popularity, closely related with electability but not can get the electability automatically, because one of candidate not have the popularity but they have the electability. Therefore the debates show need to be scheduled, not only at during campaign season, can be scheduled out of campaign season yet. Keyword: appreciation, debates candidate, popularity, electability   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berfokus di Kabupaten Suang, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan adalah untuk mengetahui, membahas dan mendeskripsikan tentang apresiasi masyarakat terhadap acara debat Capres/Cawapres melalui televisi. Penelitian ini sifatnya deskriptif analitis dengan pendekatan kuantitaif ditunjang kualitatif yang dipusatkan di Kabupaten Subang Jawa Barat. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran angket, wawancara mendalam, studi kepustakaan dan pengamatan langsung di lapangan. Hasilnya, sebagian besar responden tergolong usia produktif yang memiliki kepekaan terhadap dunia politik cukup tinggi. Mereka setuju dan perlu dengan acara debat Capres/Cawapres melalui televisi, alasannya walaupun acara debat waktunya pendek, tapi efek (manfaat) nya dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan wawasan tentang Pilpres 2014, serta dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran dan kedewasaan berpolitik. Kemudian dapat mengetahui figur dan tema debat yang dibutuhkan masyarakat, termasuk di dalamnya program kerja dan janji politik. Selanjutnya mengetahui pula tentang citra politik, popularitas dan kapabilitas, popularitas dan elektabilitas Capres/Cawapres. Untuk popularitas erat sekali kaitannya dengan elektabilitas, tapi tidak otomatis memperoleh elektabilitas, sebab yang memiliki popularitas tidak otomatis memperoleh elektabilitas, sebab kenyatannya ada yang tidak memiliki popularitas tapi memperoleh elektabilitas. Untuk itu acara debat perlu diagendakan, tidak hanya diselenggarakan pada musim kampanye pilpres, tapi juga dapat dilaksanakan di luar musim kampanye. Statistical and research consulting is defined as the collaboration of a statistician or methodologist with another professional for devising solutions to research problems. An in-depth, interview qualitative approach was taken to answer the research question of what makes a good research consultant. The authors interviewed four faculty members in the field of statistics and research methods and two experienced graduate student consultants. In-depth, face-to-face interviews revealed common themes regarding consultancy skills, resourcefulness, communication and interpersonal skills. The participants discussed how to improve consulting sessions and deal with clients with different statistics levels and backgrounds. Participants felt there was no difference in how they approached a qualitative vs. quantitative consulting session. Finally, all the participants stated that the training of graduate student consultants can be improved by project-based coursework.

This research takes the object of Sebening Syahadat by Diva SR, this work is a novel that tells the story of the journey ofa teenager named Sam who is in the process ofsearching for identity. The journey is filled with interesting twits and turns embelissed with a love story that is very suitable if consumed by the younger generation who are learning to find identit. This study aims to reveal the value motives that led Sam’s character in finding his identity, which expected to be a material for reflection for readers, especially young people who are in the process of discovering his identity, the scope of the problem in this study is to reveal the value motives that affect the character’s psyche. Sam is told to have a rascal character.The research method used in this study took a descriptive qualitative approach, data colletion used was a literature study technique with stages of reading, note taking, coding for futher analysis. The analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive analysis technique.The result of the research in this research process indicate that the mental process of Sam’s character influenced by several factors, including: a. Motives in cultural factors (Situasional Factors), b. The motive for love begins with admiration for the attitude of someone who is full of noble values of character, c. The motive of curiosity and fulfillment of his needs for true value.

The research aims to uncover the symbols in the novel The Alchemist and to gain knowledge about the moral teachings in the symbol. This research is descriptive qualitative approach. Data sources in this study are words, phrases or sentences in the novel Alchemist. Data collection method is a literature study method with note taking technique. Data were analyzed using description and content analysis methods. The results showed that the novel The Alchemist contained many symbols. These symbols include: (1) wise parents, who symbolize both negative and positive things. From his appearance, parents can symbolize something bad, but behind his old age he symbolizes a knowledge that is very much and wise; (2) stones that symbolize something hard, not easily broken, and can provide clues to something; and (3) deserts or deserts which can be interpreted as symbols of drought, aridity, unattractiveness, emptiness, despair, determination for ignorance, and also as symbols of devotion.

This study aims to examine consumer behavior, customer satisfaction and development strategies that can support or hinder the development of vegetarian restaurants Fortunate Coffee using SWOT analysis. Research with qualitative approach using an analytical process begins with a browse through all the data available from the following sources using literature study, internet media, interviews, and questionnaires.Findings from this study showed that a vegetarian restaurant Fortunate Coffee has many advantages that can support the development of, among other strategic place and cozy, reasonable prices, good service, taste the food was pretty good, and have the product in Samarinda recently sold in Fortunate Coffee vegetarian restaurant that is Bread Vegan. Through of the findingsstrength, weakness, opportunity, threats, then difomulasikan into the SWOT matrix and eventually found a few strategies, namely strategies SO (strength-opportunity) flavorenhancing its menu. ST Strategy (strength-threats) maintain selling prices to remain stable. WO Strategy (weakness-opportunity) held activities such as seminars vegetarian and exciting events. WT Strategy (Weakness-threats), an improvement in consumer promotions, the need for special training to waiters in service procedures, innovations in the form of home delivery.
