Tulisan ini menjelaskan tentang proses manajemen humas yang dilakukan oleh humas PT.Pindad (Persero) dalam rangka memelihara citra perusahaan memalui program penerimaan kunjungan industri. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme, metode kualitatif dan pendekatan studi kasus yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pemeliharaan citra melalui kunjungan industri secara mendalam dan menyeluruh. Konsep yang digunakan adalah konsep four steps public relations dari Cutlip, Center and Broom, dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi partisipatori pasif, dan wawancara mendalam. Teknis analisis yang digunakan adalah reduksi data dan penyajian data. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa manajemen yang dilakukan oleh Humas PT.Pindad (Persero) dalam mengelola program kunjungan industri memiliki pengaruh terhadap pemeliharaan citra yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan dan sesuai dengan konsep four steps public relations dari Cutlip, Center and Broom yakni proses perencanaan dengan menetapkan tujuan, melakukan operasionalisasi persuratan, menyiapkan tempat, membuat schedule dan rundown acara dan melakukan briefieng. Proses implementasi dengan melakukan pemaparan materi dan plant tour. Proses evaluasi beserta pencarian data dan fakta dengan mewawancarai pengunjung dan evaluasi tahunan perusahaan. This paper describes the public relations management process carried out by public relations of PT. Pindad (Persero) in order to maintain the company's image through the industrial visit acceptance program. The research was conducted using the constructivism paradigm, qualitative methods and case study approaches that aim to find out the image maintenance process through in-depth and comprehensive industrial visits. The concept used is the concept of four steps public relations from Cutlip, Center and Broom, using passive participatory observation data collection techniques, and in-depth interviews. The analysis technique used is data reduction and data presentation. The results of this study indicate that the management carried out by Public Relations PT.Pindad (Persero) in managing industrial visit programs has an influence on image maintenance carried out by the company and in accordance with the concept of four steps public relations from Cutlip, Center and Broom namely the planning process by setting purpose, operationalize correspondence, prepare a place, make a schedule and rundown of the event and do a briefieng. The implementation process is by presenting material and plant tour. The evaluation process along with data and fact searches by interviewing visitors and annual evaluations of the company.

Tulisan ini menjelaskan tentang proses pengelolaan Cyber Public Relations yang dilakukan oleh humas Polda Jawa Barat dalam rangka meningkatkan citra lembaga memalui website tribratanews.jabar.polri.go.id. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme, metode kualitatif dan pendekatan studi kasus yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengelolaan Cyber Public Relations dalam meningkatan citra pada website tribratanews.jabar.polri.go.id secara mendalam dan menyeluruh. Konsep yang digunakan adalah konsep The four steps public relations dari Cutlip, Center and Broom, dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi partisipatori pasif, dan wawancara mendalam. Teknis analisis yang digunakan adalah reduksi data dan penyajian data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Pengelolaan Cyber Public Relations dalam Meningkatkan Citra pada Website tribratanews.jabar.polri.go.id Polda Jawa Barat tersebut dimulai dengan melakukan pendefinisian masalah dengan tahapan koordinasi penentuan masalah, penghimpunan data, pemilihan berita dan analisis penentuan masalah, selanjutnya melakukan perencanaan dan pemprograman dengan tahapan Perencanaan target sasaran berita, pembuatan judul pemberitaan, koordinasi dalam perencanaan dan konfirmasi pimpinan, lalu pelaksanaan dan pengkomunikasian di dalamnya ada tahapan Pengelolaan berita, membuat berita, upload ke website dan link ke media social. Terakhir adalah pengevaluasian guna mengetahui manfaat yang diperoleh, keberhasilan pengelolaan dalam mencapai tujuan dari instansi yaitu untuk meningkatkan citra. This paper describes the process of managing Cyber ​​Public Relations by the West Java Regional Police in order to improve the image of the institution through the tribratanews.jabar.polri.go.id website. Finally, it is evaluating to find out the benefits obtained, the success of management in achieving the goals of the agency, namely to improve the image.

In carrying out its function as people's representatives, the Regional People's Representative Council has a function in the process of making public policies to increase knowledge of government in society. In addition, public policies can make people more fully participate in a government system. This function has been adjusted to the understanding of democracy and people's sovereignty where the people must carry out their duties as government participants in Sungai Penuh City. The formulation of the research problem is, What is the Function of the DPRD in the Public Policy Making Process (Case Study in Sungai Penuh City)? The research objective is to determine the function of DPRD in the Public Policy Making Process (Case Study in Sungai Penuh City). This research uses a qualitative approach where data is obtained through field interview guides to 5 informants referring to 5 research indicators, namely 1. Agenda setting process 2. Policy formulation process 3. Policy adoption process 4. Policy implementation process and 5. Policy evaluation process. The data obtained in the field were analyzed based on the classification of the informants' answers which were described in the results and discussion of the research which was then carried out by the interpreter of the researcher. It is known that the function of DPRD in the Public Policy Making Process (Case Study in Sungai Penuh City) of the five research indicators four indicators are well implemented, namely for the indicators of the policy formulation process, the policy adoption process, the policy implementation process, and the policy evaluation process while the process indicators The formulation of policies has not been carried out properly and this is in line with the theory of Purwo's opinion which the author makes as a proposal in research indicators. For this reason, the authors suggest that the function of DPRD in the Public Policy Making Process in Sungai Penuh City can be improved so that it can be maximized in carrying out its function in policy making.

Latar belakang penelitian adanya kewajiban setiap sekolah/madrasah melaksanakan kegiatan ekatrakurikuler wajib kepramukan dalam kurikulum 2013.Tujuanan dilaksanakan penelitian ini,  untuk mengetahui tentang peran manajer  kepala sekolah  MAN 2 Manggarai dalam mengelola ekstrakurikuler kurikulum 2013 terhadap peningkatan mutu sekolah.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif  kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus yang  difokuskan pada satu fenomena saja yang dipilih untuk dipahami secara mendalam, dengan mengabaikan fenomena-fenomena lainnya. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara terstruktur, observasi partisipasi dan studi dokumentasi.Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah peneliti sendiri dan didukung instrumen lain yaitu lembaran pedoman wawancara dan lembaran pedoman observasi serta kamera.Untuk mengetahui  keabsahan data, penelitimenggunakan teknik perpanjangan keikutsertaan, ketekunan dalam  pengamatan dantrianggulasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatifinteraktif.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data, dapat rumuskan lima kesimpulan  yaitu: 1) Peranmanajer Kepala Sekolah MAN 2 Manggarai mulai dari proses perencanaan, proses pengorganisasian,  proses pelaksanaan, dan proses evaluasi sangat baik, 2) mutu sekolah terwujud,perlunya komitmen tinggi terhadap perubahan zaman, 3) Selalu mengembangkan kemampuan mengajar dan memilki komitmen tinggi terhadap tugas, 4) Tanggungjawab terhadap kerja,  mengembangkan diri,  peningkatan kinerja, 5) Membangun kerjasama internal (sekolah) dan eksternal (pemerintahdan masyarakat atau komite sekolah).The upbringing of this study is the obligation of every school/madrasah to carry out the extracurricular scouting activities of the 2013 curriculum. The goalmouth of this study is to know the role of the headmaster of MAN 2 Manggarai in supervision the extracurricular activity of 2013 curriculum to improve the school quality. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with the case study investigation project is focus on a chosen phenomenon to be fathomed deeply, nonetheless other phenomena.Data collection of this research is using edifice interview technique, accomplice observation and documentation study. The used instrument in this research is the researcher himself and is supported by other instruments such as interview guide sheets and observation charts and camera.To determine the validity of the data, researcher used extension techniques of participation, persistence in observation and triangulation. Data analysis technique used is interactive qualitative analysis.Based on the research results and data analysis, five conclusions can be formulated as: 1) The role of manager,the Principal of MAN 2 Manggarai from the planning process, organizing process, implementation process, and evaluation process werevery good, 2) the quality of school is achieved needasahigh commitment towardstransformation (4) Responsibility for working, self-development, performance improvement, 5) buildingan internal (school) and external cooperation (government and community or school committee)

This study originated from the author's observations on the phenomenon of change in MTs Al Maarif 01, which was originally founded in 1923 AD, the Madrasah which was named Misbachul Wathon which continued to develop with demands for rules and regulations, so on July 1 1959 AD it changed to Madrasah Stanawiyah.  Nahdlotul Ulama and continues to grow until now to become MTs Al Maarif 01 Singosari Malang.  Based on this phenomenon, the writer intends to reveal the public relations strategy in enhancing the image of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Maarif Singosari Malang with sub focus: Public Relations Management Strategies in improving the image of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Maarif 01 Singosari, supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the image of MTs Al Maarif 01 Singosari.This research uses qualitative research with the type of case study research.  Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation.  While the data analysis technique, researchers used three interconnected components, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.  To obtain objective data, it is done checking the validity of the data by making continuous observations, triggering data sources, methods and theories, checking members, checking the adequacy of references.The results of the research that have been carried out show that: 1) public relations strategies in improving the image of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Maarif 01 Singosari, namely public relations working with all members in madrasas such as the principal, Deputy Curriculum, Student Assistant and other teachers and staff, and also  have a work program.  2) supporting and inhibiting factors in improving Madrasah Image: supporting factors a.  Big names of foundations and madrasah founders (the NU scholars in 1957) b.  Fulfillment of facilities and infrastructure c.  trusted by related agencies and trusted by the community d.  good cooperation from all Madrasah, Pesantren and student guardians e.  Assignment of assignments by the foundation in accordance with the experts.  Inhibiting factors, namely: a. There are activities that coincide with the pesantren b.  Home visit is not smooth because the guardian is far away (outside the city, outside the island) and limited time c.  There are limited funds.

Perum Perhutani Divisi Regional Jawa Barat dan Banten merupakan perusahaan atau instansi yang melaksanakan Human Relations melalui kegiatan informal, kegiatan informal tersebut dilakukan oleh Unit Seksi Humas dan Protokoler pada Bidang Ekspert Madya Komunikasi dan Pelaporan. Peneliti tertarik melakukan penelitian ini dengan tujuan untuk menetahui bagaimana gambaran impelementasi Human Relations melalui kegiatan informal di Perum Perhutani. Paradigma yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah konstruktivisme yang bertujuan untuk memaknai makna-makna yang diungkapkan informan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk memahami fenomena yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian secara utuh. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus, karena penulis ingin mengetahi aspek “how” dan “why”yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik setiap manusia dengan cara berinteraksi secara langsung dan mendalam. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Human Relations melalui kegiatan informal tersebut menggunakan konsep POAC yaitu perencanaan (Planning), pengorganisasian (Organizing), pelaksanaan (Actuating), dan pengawasan (Controling), sehingga dalam kegiatan informal di Perum Perhutani menerapkan atau mengimplementasi Human Relations melalui kegiatan informal tersebut dengan sebaik mungkin. Implementasi yang tercipta di Perum Perhutani dapat menciptakan kenyamanan, merasa dihargai dalam melaksanakan setiap pekerjaan, sehingga dapat dipahami pula bahwa implementasi Human Relations melalui kegiatan informal di Perum Perhutani telah dilaksanakan dengan baik sehingga dapat menciptakan serta meningkatan produktivitas dalam bekerja. Perum Perhutani Regional Division of West Java and Banten is a company or agency that carries out Human Relations through informal activities, informal activities are carred out by the Public Relations and protocol section unit in the field of experts in intermediate communication and reporting. Researchers are interested in doing this research with the aim to find out how the descripyion of Human Relations implementation through informal activities in Perhutani Public Division West Java and Banten Regional Division through the concept of POAC from planning, organizing, implementing to monitoring (controlling) the activity. The paradigm used in this study is contructivism which aims to interpret the meanings expressed by informants. The approach used is a qualitative approach that aims to understand the phenomenon experienced by the research subject in its entirety. The method used in this study is a case study, because the author wants to know the “how” and “why” aspects that aim to find out the caracteristics of each human being by interacting directly and deeply. Based on the results of the study showed that the implementation of Human Relations throught informal activities using the consept of POAC namely planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling, so that in informal activities in the Perhutani public corporate to implement Human Relations throught informal activites as well as possibl. The implementation created in Perum Perhutani can create comfort, feel valued in carrying out every job, so that it can be understood also that the implementation of Human Relations throught informal activites in Perum Perhutani has been carried out properly so as to create and improve productivity in work.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pengelolaan dimulai dari pencarian data dan fakta, perencanaan, pengaplikasian program, serta tahap evaluasi. Proses ini merupakan rangkaian dari pengaplikasian konsep four step public relations yang dijalankan oleh humas Kantor Wilayah Kementrian Agama Provinsi Jawa Barat, yaitu tahap fact finding, planning and programming, taking actions and communications, and evaluations. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme , pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus, mengenai suatu lembaga atau organisasi dengan berupa fenomena yang ada dan terjadi nyata disuatu lembaga atau organisasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menerangkan bahwa proses pengelolaan website menghasilkan data yang terbagi kedalam dua bagian yaitu fakta primer dan sekunder , setelah data didapatkan selanjutnya perencanaan program aplikasi yang memudahkan publik, lalu pengaplikasian program aplikasi seperti halnya E-MTQ, SIMKAH, dan lain-lain, tahap akhir yaitu evaluasi yang dilakukan seperti Rapat Koordinasi dengan Pemerintah Provinsi dan Kab/Kota. This process is a series of applications of the four-step public relations concept run by the PR of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of West Java Province. Researchers also use a case study approach that is about an institution or organization in the form of phenomena that exist and occur real in an institution or organization. The results of this study explain that the website management process produces data which is divided into two parts, namely primary and secondary facts, after the data is obtained then the planning of application programs that facilitate the public, then application of application programs such as E-MTQ, SIMKAH, and others, the final stage is an evaluation conducted such as a Coordination Meeting with the Provincial and District / City Governments. PurposeThe aim of this study was to understand how public relations leaders view and use social media analytics (SMA) and the impact of SMA on the public relations function.Design/methodology/approachThe research involved in-depth interviews with chief communication officers (CCOs) from leading multinational corporate brands.FindingsThe findings revealed that although CCOs perceive social media analytics as strategically important to the advancement of public relations, the use of social media data is slowed by challenges associated with building SMA capacity.Theoretical and practical implications – The research extends public relations theory on public relations as a strategic management function and provides practical insights for building SMA capabilities.Originality/valueThe study is among the first to provide empirical evidence of how companies are using social media analytics to enhance public relations efforts.

Academic scholarship and professional literature have defined communications as existing in two groups: internal and external/public relations. However, globalism, technology, evolving communication practices, and the maturation of the public relations field have evoked changing attitudes and perceptions regarding stakeholder identification, publics, and communications. This researcher sent a broad, representative survey to university alumni, conducted in-depth interviews with university staff, and performed a content analysis of alumni-facing communications, resulting in an alternate method of viewing internal and external communications. Dubbed the stakeholder-communication continuum, the theory places internal and external communications on either end of a spectrum, with stakeholder groups plotted along the continuum based on their relationship to the organization and each other. ©Journal of Professional Communication, all rights reserved.

This study aims to describe Reyog Ponorogo from the historical aspect, the negative stigma that has accompanied its development, and local wisdom that spreads to all its components. This problem is studied using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews with data collection tools is the researcher himself as a key instrument. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analytical with the process of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study are as follows; (1) Reyog Obyog is an important and inseparable part of Reyog Ponorogo. In fact, it is very possible that Reyog Obyog is the origin of the Reyog Ponorogo which has developed and is known to the public today; (2) Reyog Obyog performance model which tends to be free, not bound by standards, is performed in the audience and is predominantly filled with entertainment, in its development various negative stigmas have emerged in the community, namely eroticism, drunkenness, and mystical performance rituals; (3) The Reyog Obyog has a great value in the form of a noble life guidance which is strategic enough to be used as a medium for building civilization.
