This paper surveys the contemporary approaches to the problems of conscience raised by the verse, exploring modes of resolving the issues that arise when believing Muslims approach the verse and find its apparent meaning to violate their pre-existing notions of justice, notions which are partly informed the by the Qur'anic text itself. It finds that the prescription of 'hitting' one's wife, as the last of three mitigating directives when dealing with a woman who embodies the quality of "nushuz", creates a moment of interruption in the relationship between the believer and text. Contemporary scholars engage both text and historical precedent in the present context when (re)interpreting Qur'an 4:34 and the relative weight given to text and precedent determines the conclusions of individual arguments.

The study aimed to measure the impact of applying governance standards in evaluating the quality of internal audit in Yemeni private universities. To achieve this, the researcher followed the descriptive and analytical approach and employed a questionnaire to collect data from a sample that included (68) participants. After conducting relative analysis, governance was at an average level of (64.9%). There was also a slight variation in the level of implementation, as the dimension of transparency and disclosure was the most frequent dimension, followed by accountability and independence. Further, there was a medium level of adherence to internal auditing standards at a relative weight (65%). The level of commitment to the audit dimensions was as follows: managing the internal audit activities (67%), communicating the results (66%), assessing the risk and control management (64%), and planning and implementing the audit process (62%). and The study also found that the combined governance standards (transparency and disclosure, accountability, independence) increase the quality of the internal audit in Yemeni private universities and the highest dimensions of governance standards affecting the quality of internal auditing are the dimension of independence (80.3%), accountability (71.7%), and disclosure and transparency (63.7%). In light of this, the study recommended adopting governance standards as an integrated approach to achieve quality performance in private Yemeni universities; spreading the culture of governance in private universities among their leaders and staff by holding training courses, seminars, and conferences in order to be accepted and absorbed. In addition, governance should be included in some related academic courses in the disciplines of administrative and accounting sciences. Keywords: governance standards, internal audit quality assessment, private Yemeni universities.

Prosody is a fundamental speech element responsible for communicative functions such as intonation, accent and phrasing, and prosodic impairments of individuals with intellectual disabilities reduce their communication skills. Yet, technological resources have paid little attention to prosody. This study aims to develop an automatic classifier to predict the prosodic quality of utterances produced by individuals with Down syndrome, and to analyse how inter-individual heterogeneity affects assessment results. A therapist and an expert in prosody judged the prosodic appropriateness of a corpus of Down syndrome’ utterances collected through a video game. The judgments of the expert were used to train an automatic classifier that predicts prosodic quality by using a set of fundamental frequency, duration and intensity features. The classifier accuracy was 79.3% and its true positive rate 89.9%. We analyzed how informative each of the features was for the assessment and studied relationships between participants’ developmental level and results: interspeaker variability conditioned the relative weight of prosodic features for automatic classification and participants’ developmental level was related to the prosodic quality of their productions. Therefore, since speaker variability is an intrinsic feature of individuals with Down syndrome, it should be considered to attain an effective automatic prosodic assessment system.

The reproduce generation Hadist textually contains orders to have many offspring, butcan that Hadist still be applied to the contemporary context in order for exploding population causing many problems such as a quality of education, health, employment, public orderetc. This ultimately prompted the government to make family planning programs to anticipate the rate of population growth. The goverment claimed the the exploding population make the burden of the state will be more and more. In this study, researchers will attempt to study the reproduce generatuon Hadist depend on Gadamer hermeneutical perceptions, namely: First the reader or reviewer must be aware that the reader has its own horizon. Second, the readers have prejudice and hipotesa before reviewing, have assumptions as well. but the assumption must accept to be criticized and even modified according to the text content. Third, called the hermeneutic circle, which combines the horizon of the text with the horizon of the reader because certainly every text naturally has horizon when the text was born. Fourth, the application of the values of the texts studied in the present context. The formulation of the issues raised in this study are: How the application of Gadamer's hermeneutical theory in understanding the Hadist. From this formulation of the problem the researchers found several things in between are: First, the message contained that hadith Rasulullah eager to have a lot of people on the Day of Judgment so that he will be proud of the number of Muslims. Secondly, we must still be applied in the present context because the goal is the number of Muslims in the future.

Steel is a kind of important material. The accurate control about the end temperature of molten steel has significant impact on the quality of steel material. Case Based Reasoning (CBR) is used to predict the end temperature of molten steel in Argon Oxygen Decarburization (AOD). Grey Relational Degree (GRD) with different weights of attributes is adopted to calculate the similarity between cases. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is taken to determine the weights of attributes. Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) is applied to compute the relative weight of two different attributes for AHP. Two methods, CBR using AHP with Equal Weights (CBR_AHP_EW) and CBR using AHP with Different Weights (CBR_AHP_DW), are employed to for a comparison. The results show that CBR_AHP_DW is effective in predicting the end temperature of molten steel in AOD and CBR_AHP_DW outperforms CBR_AHP_EW.

The present study analyses a transport system in a discontinuous space. Classical specifications of transport models cannot be applied directly when evaluating the influence of territorial discontinuity and related barriers on user behaviour. Adjustments are required for this specific case because studies relative to discontinuous spaces are limited. The influence concerns the different travel components (access, barrier, on board, and egress) and could impact travel choices (departure time, destination, mode, and path). In this paper, the models refer to access and egress components with a focus on the mode of travel choice level. The paper focusses on the influence of discontinuity, introducing some adjustments to the classical demand models used to simulate discontinuity crossing. The main variables influencing the user’s choice, and their relative weight in discontinuous space, are investigated. These elements are fundamental for any planning and design procedures to improve the quality of mobility. In the paper, the case study of the Strait of Messina in southern Italy is analysed. In this case, the barrier is constituted by the sea that physically separates the two shores. In this work, only strait crossings via hydrofoil, from Reggio Calabria to Messina, are considered in random sample interviews.
