This paper reviews specifically about learning facilities and classroom management as factors that allegedly affect student achievement. Analytical techniques used using multiple regression and product moment correlation is a technique of data analysis to know the contribution of each variable. Based on the results of the analysis, data were collected through survey method using a closed answer questionnaire, while the respondents were 78 students of Vocational High School in Cimahi. The results of the analysis show the learning facilities and classroom management partially take effect strong enough. While the results of the analysis simultaneously showed a strong influence.  From the results of this study can provide implications for the school as well as teachers as one reference to improve student learning achievement optimal.ABSTRAKTulisan ini mengkaji secara khusus tentang fasilitas belajar dan manajemen kelas sebagai faktor yang diduga mempengaruhi prestasi belajar siswa. Teknik analisis yang dipergunakan menggunakan regresi ganda dan korelasi product moment yang merupakan teknik analisis data untuk mengetahui kontribusi setiap variabel. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, data dikumpulkan melalui metode survey dengan menggunakan angket jawaban tertutup, adapun yang menjadi responden adalah 78 siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Cimahi. Adapun hasil analisis menunjukkan fasilitas belajar dan manajemen kelas secara parsial berpangaruh cukup kuat. Sedangkan hasil analisis secara simultan menunjukkan pengaruh yang kuat. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan Implikasi bagi pihak sekolah maupun guru sebagai salah satu acuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa yang optimal.

The problem in this research is not optimal student achievement. It is characterized by the acquisition of learning outcomes of student who have not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria in school. This study aims to determine the effect of performance of teaching teachers on student achievement. The method used in this research was survey method. Data collection techniques used question model on scale of 1-5 form with rating scale. Respondents were 53 students of class X of Office Administration Vocational High School in Bandung. The approach used is a quantitative approach to data analysis techniques using regression analysis. The result showed that the performance of teaching teachers has a positive and significant impact on student achievement, either partially or simultaneously. It can be concluded that student achievement can be improved through increased performance of teaching teachers. It means the better of performance of teaching teacher will have an impact on student achievement for the better. ABSTRAKPermasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah belum optimalnya prestasi belajar siswa. Hal ini ditandai dengan perolehan hasil belajar siswa yang belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kinerja mengajar guru terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skor rentang 1 sampai dengan 5 model rating scale. Responden adalah 53 siswa Kelas X Administrasi Perkantoran Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Kota Bandung. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa kinerja mengajar guru memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa prestasi belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan kinerja mengajar guru. Artinya semakin tinggi kinerja mengajar guru akan berdampak pada prestasi belajar siswa yang semakin tinggi.

This paper examines specifically about interpersonal communication teacher’s as factors that influence the effectiveness of the powerful alleged learning students. Based on the results of data analysis by using simple regression where data collected through survey method using question form answers to the 51 students in vocational high school in Bandung as the respondent. The results of the analysis of data indicates that interpersonal communications teacher had an impact on the effectiveness of learning of students. The results of this research can provide implications towards the learning process. the results showed teacher’s interpersonal communication has a positive and significant effect against the effectiveness of learning of students. Thus the effectiveness of student learning can be enchanced through improved interpersonal communication teachers.ABSTRAKArtikel ini mengkaji secara khusus tentang komunikasi interpersonal guru sebagai faktor yang diduga kuat mempengaruhi efektivitas pembelajaran siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan regresi sederhanadimana data yang dikumpulkan melalui metode survey dengan menggunakan angket jawaban terhadap 51 siswa pada salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri di Bandung sebagai responden. Hasil analisis data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal guru mempunyai pengaruh terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran siswa. Hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan implikasi terhadap proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komunikasi interpersonal guru memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran siswa. Dengan demikian efektivitas pembelajaran siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan komunikasi interpersonal guru.

This article aimed to determine the implementation of classroom management on students’ learning discipline. The research method used Expalanatory Survey method with data collection technique used questionnaire. Respondents are 80 students grade eleventh from Office Administration major of a vocational high school in Lembang, selected by used sampling technique. Data were analyzed using regression. The result of the research revealed that: (1) the classroom management is in the quite effective category, (2) the students' learning discipline is in the moderate category, and (3) there is a significant influence of classroom management on students’ learning discipline. Therefore, students’ learning discipline can be improved through increased classroom management by teachers.ABSTRAKArtikel ini membahas hasil penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pelaksanaan manajemen kelas dan disiplin belajar siswa serta ada tidaknya pengaruh manajemen kelas terhadap disiplin belajar siswa pada sebuah SMK di Lembang. Metode yang digunakan adalah Ekspalanatory Survey dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Respondennya berjumlah 80 orang siswa kelas XI Administrasi Perkantoran yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik sampling. Analisis data menggunakan regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) manajemen kelas berada pada kategori cukup efektif, (2) disiplin belajar siswa berada pada kategori sedang, dan (3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan manajemen kelas terhadap disiplin belajar siswa, artinya disiplin belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui manajemen kelas yang dilakukan oleh guru.

The purpose of this study was  to analyze the influence of principal’s managerial skills and quality culture on teacher performance. The research method used survey method. Data collection techniques used a rating scale scale questionnaire with scores ranging from 1 to 5. Respondents are 90 teachers of State Vocational High School in Bandung. Data analysis technique using regression. The results showed that job satisfaction and organizational commitment have a positive and significant influence on teacher performance, either partially or simultaneously. This study is aimed to analyze the influence of professional competence of teachers and powerpoint as a media of learning on the effectiveness of learning. This study employed explanatory survey method. This research also used data collection technique in the form of questionnaire with rating scale model. Respondents of this study include students of a Vocational High School in Bandung. Data analysis technique in this research is regression technique. Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) harus mampu menghasilkan lulusan yang berkompeten di dunia kerja. Kompetensi ditempatkan dalam mata pelajaran produktif. Proses pembelajaran khususnya pada mata pelajaran produktif yang belum efektif akan berpengaruh pada pencapaian kompetensi siswa sebagai lulusan SMK nantinya. Kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah efektivitas proses pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran produktif Administrasi Perkantoran yang belum efektif. Inti kajiannya difokuskan pada faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas proses pembelajaran, adapun faktor yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah peran guru sebagai manajer. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran mengenai peran guru sebagai manajer, untuk mengetahui gambaran efektivitas proses pembelajaran, dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh peran guru sebagai manajer terhadap efektivitas proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif.  Responden penelitian adalah 90 siswa kelas X Administrasi Perkantoran salah satu SMK di Lembang. Pengambilan data menggunakan instrumen berupa angket dengan teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Korelasi Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa peran guru sebagai manajer sudah berada dalam kategori cukup efektif, efektivitas proses pembelajaran berada dalam kategori cukup efektif, dan peran guru sebagai manajer memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap efektivitas proses pembelajaran. Saran yang diberikan terkait penelitian ini adalah dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan cakupan lebih luas atau dengan faktor pengaruh lainnya yang berbeda.Kata Kunci: peran guru sebagai manajer, efektivitas proses pembelajaran THE ROLE OF TEACHER AS MANAGER TO INCREASE  EFFECTIVE LEARNING PROCESSVocational High School must be able to generate graduates who mostly competent in the world of work. Competence placed in productive subjects. Ineffective learning process, especially on the productive subject will affect the student competency as a graduate of Vocational High School (SMK) later. Study in this research was the ineffectiveness of the learning process on office administration productive subject. The core study focused on factors that influence the effective learning process, while the factors examined in this study is the role of teacher as a manager. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of teacher as a manager, to describe the effective learning process, and to determine the influence of the role of teacher as manager on effective learning process. This study used survey method with quantitative approach. Respondents were 90 students of class X of Office Administration SMK in Lembang. Retrieving data using questionnaire instrument with the analytical techniques used is the Product Moment Correlation. The results showed that the role of teacher as manager is in effective sufficient category, the effective learning process is in effective sufficient category, and the role of teacher as manager has a significant influence on the effective learning process. The advice given related to this research is to conduct further research with a broader scope or with other influences of different factors.Keywords: role of teacher as manager, effective learning process

This research is aimed to investigate the effect of (1) interpersonal communication, (2) trust, (3) loyalty of teacher the vocational high school in Kemayoran.In the data analysis, this research uses causal survey method by using Path Analysis Technique. This study uses the sample from 95 teachers in five vocational high school in Kemayoran who are selected by using Slovin formula.The result of the study reveals that: First, there is a positive effect between interpersonal communication and teacher loyalty to the school. Second, there is a positive effect also between trust and teacher loyalty to the school.Third there is a positive effect between interpersonal communication and teacher trust to the school.

The research objective was to monitored the implementation of home guidance in improving student achievement in class VIII at State Junior High School 3 Tondano. This research was a counseling action research with four stages: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were seven people who had low learning achievement. Data were collected by using two methods of observation and interviews. Data analysis used qualitative data analysis, data reduction, data display, and data collection. The results showed that the homeroom method could improve student achievement with two cycles of application time.

The purpose of this research is to produce a decent and effective digital photo video media for the subject of composition for the students of class XI Multimedia of Vocational High School. The development model used is the ADDIE model. To determine the feasibility of the product is based on expert test ie media experts and content experts. To know the effectiveness of the product is based on a comparison of learning result test between experiment class and control class at SMKN 1 Dlanggu Mojokerto. Based on the results of expert test data analysis obtained conclusion that the learning video media developed feasible to use in learning. The result of the value of pre-test and post- test conducted in control class and experimental class by using t-test obtained t-count is 13,11 and by using t-test distribution table with significant level 5% obtained t-table = 2 , 68, thus the video learning media declared effective. The conclusion of this study indicates that the video learning media subjects composition of digital photos declared feasible and effective for students class XI Multimedia Vocational Secondary School.AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan media video mata pelajaran komposisi foto digital yang layak dan efektif bagi siswa kelas XI Multimedia Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE. Untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk didasarkan pada uji ahli yakni ahli media dan ahli isi. Untuk mengetahui keefektifan produk didasarkan pada perbandingan tes hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol di SMKN 1 Dlanggu Mojokerto. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data uji ahli diperoleh simpulan bahwa media video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Hasil nilai dari pre-test dan post-test yang dilakukan pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan uji-t diperoleh t-hitung adalah 13,11 dan dengan menggunakan tabel distribusi uji-t dengan taraf signifikan 5% diperoleh t-tabel = 2,68, dengan demikian media video pembelajaran dinyatakan efektif. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media video pembelajaran mata pelajaran komposisi foto digital dinyatakan layak dan efektif bagi siswa kelas XI Multimedia Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan.
