The competition in this industry has become extremely tight as the number of star and non-star hotels in Bali increased in 2019, reaching 4,323 hotels. The goal of this study was to examine the impact of the leadership style on the work motivation of employees in the Hotel A Ubud's Housekeeping Department. The participants in this study were all employees of the Hotel A Ubud's Housekeeping Department. In this study, a saturated sample or census technique was used for sampling. In this study, simple regression analysis was used for data analysis. The analysis results show that leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation. As a result, the better the application of a leadership style in a company, the higher the work motivation. The findings of this study have implications for the development of hotel policies aimed at increasing employee work motivation by paying attention to the leader's style and character while leading his subordinates. However, it is expected that future research will examine the effect of these two variables on a broader scope using a longitudinal approach, so that the research results can be generalized.

ABSTRACTThe study investigates the effect of leadership style on employee’s work stress in ESS Transportation Management Service Telkom. The data were collected from 92 employees and obtained using a questionnaire consisted of 29 items with 6 point Likert scale. Desciptive analysis used to illustratedthe leadership style and work stress level inside the organization. Simple regression analysis was used to analyze the data and to measure the relation between independent and dependent variables. Employee perceives that the leadership style implemented in the organization was already appropriate and in line with their expectation regarding how their leader should engage the work relation. Meanwihle, the work stress level among employees were low. The regression analysis revealed the negative relation between leadership style and work stress level. When employeesperceived that their leader was act accordance to what their expectaion then the stress level will lessen. The coefficient of determination was 0.321. This mean the leadership style can only explain 32.1% of work stress, then the organization need to identify other factors which also affect the work stress. The comparison with the previous literatures also discussed.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap tingkat stres kerja karyawan di Divisi ESS Transportation Management Service Telkom. Data penelitian diperoleh daripenyebaran kuesioner terhadap 92 orang responden. Kuesioner yang digunakan memiliki 29 pertanyaan dengan skala Likert 6 poin. Teknik analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk menjelaskan tingkat gaya kepemimpinan dan tingkat stres yang dipersepsikan oleh karyawan. Sedangkan untuk menganalisis pengaruh antara dua ariabel tersebut digunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa karyawan merasa gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan sudahsesuai dengan apa yang mereka harapkan. Mereka menilai bahwa pemimpin sudah menerapkan gaya yang tepat dalam setiap kondisi yang terkait pekerjaan. Tingkat stres karyawan di perusahaan ini relatif rendah. Selanjutnya, analisis regresi memperlihatkan hubungan signifikan negatif antara gaya kepemimpinan dan tingkat stres. Karyawan yang merasa sesuai dengan gaya kepemimpinan atasan akan memiliki tingkat stres yang lebih rendah. Koefisien determinasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah 0.321. ini berarti bahwa gaya kepemimpinan hanya dapat menjelaskan tingkat stres sebesar 32.1% of work stress. Hasil ini menjadi masukan bagi perusahaan untuk mempelajari faktor-faktor lain penyebab stres. Pembahasan di dalam penelitian ini akan menyajikan pula hasil riset terdahulu dari berbagai latar belakang budaya

      The aim of this study is to analyzed the influence of leadership style on managerial performance and the reward system as the moderating variable that may affect the relationship of leadership style on managerial performance. The type of this research is associative. Respondents are managers and staff with the lowest level of supervisor in the entire supermarket in Mataram, as many as 66 respondents. Sampling technique is census. Using simple regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) as analysis.      The results showed that leadership style negative significantly influence on managerial performance and the reward system influence negatively significant the relationship of leadership style on managerial performance.

This study aims to determine the effect of career development toward employee performance at Aswin Hotels and Spa Makassar. The model used in this study is a questionnaire using a Likert scale. And the method of determining the sample used is a saturated sample with the total sample represented the total population of 53 people. The analytical method used is a simple regression analysis method. The results of this study indicate that career development had a positive and significant effect toward employee performance at the Aswin Hotel and Spa Makassar. Career development affected the performance of Aswin Hotel and Spa Makassar employees by 54.4%, while 45.6% of employee performance variables were affected by other variables who did not observe by researchers.

The study population was all the staff of Office of Communications River City Full totaling 34 people. Samples were taken from all of the population is 34 people. Methods of analysis using simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. Results obtained (1) Partially Competence , Work Motivation and Work Discipline, positive and significant impact on employee performance of Communications River City Full (2) Simultaneously Influence of Competence (X1), work motivation (X2), Work Discipline (X3) on employee performance (Y) is 0.003 with Sig. F 0.003 <0.05 and Fhitung value of 5.847, while the value of F table is 2,92 so that the value of F larger than F table, it can be said that the competence (X1) work motivation (X2) and the Discipline of the work (X3) proved positive and significant influence on employee performance of Office of Communications City Full River and regression equations for these three variables is Y = 52,271+ 0,190 X1 + 0,204 X2 + 0,412 X3. Finally the authors suggest the results of this study to increase competence, work motivation and work discipline in accordance with their respective indicators and for other researchers can continue this research in order that the limitations in this study could be refined.Keywords: Competence, Work Motivation and Work Discipline and Employee Performance

This paper aims to analyze the Impact of Covid-19 on the Marine Community’s Economic (Study of Sales at Mopah Market). The population in this study was 33 respondents, using a saturated sample technique. This writing uses a quantitative approach with simple regression analysis techniques using SPSS 22. The results obtained are that there is a positive and significant influence on the Marine community’s economy. Judging from the effects of data analysis, it shows that during the Covid-19 pandemic, the organization experienced a decrease in income. It is indicated by the results of the value of t-count = 5.068 and t-table = 1.695, sig = 0.000. From the result, we know that there is an impact of Covid-19 on the Marine people’s economy in their sales in the Merauke regency Mopah market. The total revenue for sales before Covid-19 was 56% and 44% after Covid-19 was a negative impact that affected the Marine community’s economy by a difference of 12%. This difference shows that Covid-19 has an impact on the economy in terms of income from daily sales. This study aims to determine the magnitude of the influence of Punishmant on employee productivity at PT. Asuransi Bintang Tbk. Makassar branch. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Asuransi Bintang Tbk. Makassar branch, amounting to 25 people. The number of samples used was 25 people using saturated sample toeri. Data collection was carried out using interview, observation and questionnaire methods. The data analysis technique used is simple regression analysis using Statistical Product Standard Solution (SPSS) for window. This study aims to determine: the analysis of the principal’s leardership style on the perfomance of teachers of elementary schools in the soromandi sub-district of Bima. Research approach using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all elementary school teachears in the district of Soromandi, Bima, with 128 teachers. The number of samples taken using probability sampling techniques of 50 teachers. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The assumption test used in the normality and linearity the est. Hypotesis testing uses simple regression analysis. The results of this study conclude that principal’s leardeship style has a signitificant effect on the perfomance of teachers Elementary School in Soromandi sub-district as indicated by 0,76 with a significance of 0,00<0,05 and the magnitude of the influnce of the principal’s leardership style on teacher perfomance is 57,76.

This paper examines specifically about the principal's leadership style as a factor that allegedly affect the performance of teachers. Based on the analysis of data using simple regression analysis and using explanatory survey method as a means of collecting data and using the questionnaire answers to the 66 respondents who are permanent teachers at State Vocational High School 11 Bandung. Results of the analysis showed that the principal's leadership style had an influence on the performance of teachers. These results indicate leadership style has a positive and significant impact on teacher performance.ABSTRAKTulisan ini mengkaji secara khusus tentang gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah sebagai faktor yang diduga kuat mempengaruhi kinerja guru. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dan menggunakan metode explanatory survey sebagai alat pengumpulan data serta menggunakan angket jawaban terhadap 66 orang responden yang merupakan guru tetap di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 11 Bandung. Hasil analisis tersebut menunjukan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja guru. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan gaya kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru.

The objective of the study was to assess (1) descriptive about the students’ emotional intelligence, their perception towards democratic parenting  model and the teacher’s democratic leadership style; (2) the correlation between the democratic parenting model with the emotional intelligence; (3) the teachers’ democratic leadership style with emotional intelligence, and 4) the correlation between the democratic parenting model and the teachers’ democratic leadership style with the emotional intelligence. The sample consisted  of 182 student of  SMA Negeri  2 Watampone, academic year 2007-2008, selected bay way of proporsional random sampling. The questionnaires to collect the data was designed to assess the perception about the democratic parenting by parents, the teachers’ democratic leadership style, and the emotional intelligence. The data were analyzed by employing the Simple Regression analysis technique for hypotesis one and two, and Multiple Regression for hypotesis three. The results of the correlation indicated (1) there was a significant correlation between emotional intelligence with the perception of democratic parenting model, (2) the emotional intelligence is significantly correlated with the perception obout the teacers’ democratic leadership style and (3) there was a significant correlation between the  perception obout the democratic parenting model and the perception obout the teachers’ democratic leadership style with emotional intelligence. The two predictors provided an effective contribution at 46 percent against the variation of criteria emotional intelligence.

The objectives of this study is to find out relationship between the leadership style and the Entrapreneurial attitude of the employees.   The study was conducted at Gramedia group publishing houses with 60 respondents selected randomly from editorial departements of the companies within the corporate. In accordance with local conditions and pratices in the corporate concerned, the Group makes contributions to various operated policy schemes which cover the majority of employees. The data was analyzed using simple regression analysis, Pearson Product-Moment correlation.  The research concluded that there are positive correlations between leadership style and entrapreneurial attitude of the employees. Therefore the leadership style is very important factor in increasing the entapreneurial attitude of the employees.
