here is provides an overview of the existing software for modeling using Petri nets. The features of the Petri nets and the advantages of its use are presented. The relevance of the development and use of tools for working with Petri nets is reasonable. A comparative analysis of the capabilities of software tools, including a comparison of the analysis and synthesis functions, the capabilities of creating libraries, cross-platform support, etc. Conclusions are drawn about the spheres of application of the described software.

Subject. This article deals with the issues relating to improving integrated reporting in terms of dovetailing strategic objectives with capital changes. Objectives. The article aims to develop a system of indicators for disclosure of capital types in integrated reporting of electricity generating companies, as well as recommendations aimed at implementing the fundamental concepts and guiding principles of integrated reporting. Methods. For the study, we used the methods of analysis and synthesis, comparison, generalization, and abstraction. As a case study, we conduct a comparative analysis of the disclosure of six types of capital by the largest electricity generating companies, namely PAO Inter RAO, AO Rosenergoatom and PAO RusHydro. Results. The article formulates proposals for disclosure of capital information to address such a lack of accountability as a contradiction to the principle of coherence. It proposes a system of indicators (core and additional) for disclosure of six types of capital by electricity generating companies. Conclusions. A significant reporting problem is the lack of correlation between key strategic objectives and capital changes. The formulated recommendations for disclosure of capital information can help solve this problem, and increase the attractiveness of the integrated report for capital providers.

Simulation is the main way for testing technologies in the field of multi-hop wireless networks (MWN). Creating a simulation model MWN - a time-consuming task associated with the use of specialized software tools, called network simulators. In this paper, the modern experience of modeling MWN and the main problems are formulated. One of the main problem is the comparative analysis' impossibility of the experiments results conducted by various researchers. This is due to the reasons associated with the models used for testing, the planning an imitation experiment and the principal differences in the network simulators. To solve this problem, authors propose a generalized conceptual model of MWN simulation and a specialized software package that automates the execution of experiment series in a heterogeneous modeling environment.

Aspergillus spp. is an opportunistic human pathogen that may cause a spectrum of pulmonary diseases. In order to establish infection, inhaled conidia must germinate, whereby they break dormancy, start to swell, and initiate a highly polarized growth process. To identify critical biological processes during germination, we performed a cross-platform, cross-species comparative analysis of germinating A. fumigatus and A. niger conidia using transcriptional data from published RNA-Seq and Affymetrix studies. A consensus co-expression network analysis identified four gene modules associated with stages of germination. These modules showed numerous shared biological processes between A. niger and A. fumigatus during conidial germination. Specifically, the turquoise module was enriched with secondary metabolism, the black module was highly enriched with protein synthesis, the darkgreen module was enriched with protein fate, and the blue module was highly enriched with polarized growth. More specifically, enriched functional categories identified in the blue module were vesicle formation, vesicular transport, tubulin dependent transport, actin-dependent transport, exocytosis, and endocytosis. Genes important for these biological processes showed similar expression patterns in A. fumigatus and A. niger, therefore, they could be potential antifungal targets. Through cross-platform, cross-species comparative analysis, we were able to identify biologically meaningful modules shared by A. fumigatus and A. niger, which underscores the potential of this approach.

Purpose: Taking into account the domestic experience, the present study was aimed at carrying out a comparative analysis of the constitutions of foreign countries in order to identify the norms related to the state support in them. Methodology: The present study was carried out based on a dialectical approach to investigate the legal phenomena and processes, using general scientific (system, logical, analysis and synthesis) and private scientific methods. Result: The findings of this study revealed the opportunity for the organization of various recipients of the declared support; and identification of alternative approaches to consolidation of the constitutional laws regarding the state support. Applications: This research can be used for universities and students in politic. Novelty/Originality: In this research, the model of constitutional fixing in foreign countries is presented in a comprehensive and complete manner.

The Russo-Georgia war in 2008 and the conflict in Ukraine in 2014 galvanized the countries, which are namely squeezed between NATO and Russia into considering their strategies again. The paper examines Russia’s efforts to maintain its influence in its “near abroad” in the face of NATO’s enlargement. It principally focuses on identifying the challenges particular countries face as obstacles to NATO accession. The arguments raised in the paper prove that, the primary reasons of Russia-Georgia War and Ukraine conflict are associated with these countries’ NATO aspiration. An argument regarding the Alliance’s reluctance to actively engage in partner nations is also presented. The objective of the study is to consider the repercussions of NATO aspiration and introduce the real prospects of cooperation with NATO. The research methods primarily used in the book are comparative analysis and synthesis.

Purpose of work: development of a model of the process of conducting a computer attack. Research method: theory of complex systems, comparative analysis within the framework of system analysis and synthesis. Result: it is shown that the application of the proposed model of the process of conducting computer attacks allows you to fully describe the process, taking into account its inherent features and characteristics. The use in the model of information from the MITRE ATTACK database of Mitre, which contains a description of the tactics, techniques and methods used by cybercriminals, allows you to reduce the level of abstraction and describe specific scenarios for conducting complex targeted computer attacks with the maximum approximation to practice. The developed model is supposed to be used to form scenarios of computer attacks when assessing the security of information systems.


Web 2.0 applications are becoming ubiquitous applications (i.e., applications that can be accessed by anyone, anywhere, anytime, using any device). A key element of these ubiquitous applications is mobile devices. In fact, the involvement of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet computers in the development of Web 2.0 applications has resulted in a new kind of Rich Internet Application (RIA) that can run on a variety of devices starting from the same code base, and it is known as multi-device RIA. The term multi-device RIA embraces not only mobile applications but also other kinds of out-of-browser applications such as cross-platform desktop applications as well as the traditional cross-browser Web applications. This chapter formalizes the concept of multi-device RIA, and then it presents an overview of the capabilities of several multi-device development frameworks. This review is finally summarized in a comparative analysis.
