This research is intended to analyze the impact of extrinsic and intrinsic motivation on the productivity of the manpower of permanent educational, specially of the Kopertis Wilayah VII Universities in Kotamadya Surabaya. Thefree variables of this research are extrinsic and intrinsic motivation, consisting of: (1). Income and incentive (X1); (2). Working condition (Xi); (3). Policy and administrati-on of the institution (X3); (4). Personal relationship (X4); (5). Supervision Quality (X5); (6). Achievement (Xf); (7). Accreditation 1 recognition (X7); (8). The work itself (XB); (9). Responsibilities (X9) and (J 0). Potential of individual improvement (X10}. Whereas non-free variables are productivity of the manpower of permanent educational (Y).This research use Analysis  of the Multiple Regression Linear,  and the test result of the first  hypothesis used simultaneously test (F-test) to permanent  educational rank Ill a, b, c and d, while the test of the second hypothesis implementing partial  test (t-test). The test results of the first and the second would be used as a base for the institution's decision making to reach the organizational success.  The respondents are male and female dosen Dpk. in the Teaching Staff of Nature science and Social science with total number of 80 lectures from   7 universities.   The  test  result  of  the  analysis  of  simultaneously  first hypothesis  (F-test) which assume that .free  variable motivation of extrinsic and intrinsic impact on non-free variable of productivity  of manpower of permanent  educational. Can be stated as followed:  F'o = 1,620 less than Ft = 1,90 with probabilities  = l 1,9 more than  level  of significant  (los.) 5%.  From  this result,  the  truth can 't be proved,  so extrinsic  and  intrinsic  motivation  of permanent   educational  do  not  affect  manpower productivity. With the result of R2 (R square)= 19, 01% it can mean variable motivation us model can  affect  the  manpower productivity  of permanent  educational  staff, only 19, 01% more and less 81% affected by variables cut of the model. The result of the I-test of the second hypothesis assumes that variable of the job itself (XB) is dominant ,  but  the result  of the analysis  of income  and  incentive  (X1)   is dominant; evidently  the  test  result  oft observation  = -  2,636  less  than  t  table -  -  1,986  and probability = 1, 04% less than its level of significant (los.) = 5%; with  test result  of partial coefficient determination (r2) = 9, 15% is the biggest to give contribution to the predictions of manpower permanent educational Kopertis Wilayah Vil in Surabaya , with regression coefficient (b1)  with negative sign running at -2,623.Considering the test result of the first  and second hypothesis whose is not consistent with the (expectation) assumption, so the institution where permanent educational work can take s teps by evaluating what obstacles to the improvement, then deciding the goal to success for permanent  educational and the institution.

AbstractCOVID-19 pandemic challenges have accelerated the reliance on digital health fuelling the expanded incorporation of mobile apps into healthcare services, particularly for the management of long-term conditions such as chronic diseases (CDs). However, the impact of health apps on outcomes for CD remains unclear, potentially owing to both the poor adoption of formal development standards in the design process and the methodological quality of studies. A systematic search of randomised trials was performed on Medline, ScienceDirect, the Cochrane Library and Scopus to provide a comprehensive outlook and review the impact of health apps on CD. We identified 69 studies on diabetes (n = 29), cardiovascular diseases (n = 13), chronic respiratory diseases (n = 13), cancer (n = 10) or their combinations (n = 4). The apps rarely adopted developmental factors in the design stage, with only around one-third of studies reporting user or healthcare professional engagement. Apps differed significantly in content, with a median of eight behaviour change techniques adopted, most frequently pertaining to the ‘Feedback and monitoring’ (91%) and ‘Shaping knowledge’ (72%) categories. As for the study methodologies, all studies adopted a traditional randomised control trial (RCT) design, with relatively short follow-ups and limited sample sizes. Findings were not significant for the majority of studies across all CD, with most RCTs revealing a high risk of bias. To support the adoption of apps for CD management, this review reinforces the need for more robust development and appropriate study characteristics to sustain evidence generation and elucidate whether study results reflect the true benefits of apps or a biased estimate due to unsuitable designs.

Background Higher availability of firearms has been connected to higher rates of interpersonal violence in previous studies. Yet, those studies have focused mainly on the United States, or used aggregated international data to study firearm violence. Whether those aggregated findings are applicable to understanding the phenomenon in continental Europe specifically remains unclear. The aim of this systematic review is to bring together all studies that exclusively use European data. Methods Nine databases were searched, resulting in more than 1900 individual studies. These studies were assessed on relevance and eligibility for this study, based on their title, abstract and full text. Information on study characteristics, operationalizations of main concepts and study results were extracted from the six eligible studies. Results Four studies assessed the impact of firearm restrictive regulations on the rate of firearm homicides. Two other studies correlated rates of firearm availability and -violence. Results vary: some studies show a clear decline once availability of firearms is restricted, while others indicate a limited effect on only a very specific subgroup, such as female victims, or national guards with weapons at home. Moreover, studies used various operationalizations for firearm availability, thereby decreasing the comparability of findings. Conclusion Empirical research exclusively using European data is still lacking. To increase comparability of future studies, methodological inconsistencies and regional gaps need to be overcome. Assessing how firearm availability can be measured with reliable and valid proxies across countries will be a crucial first step to improve future research on the link between firearms and firearm violence.

Purpose: This study investigated the role of job pressure in the relationship between organizational politics and turnover intent among faculty members in universities in Pakistan. This study also assessed the impact of politics at the workplace among faculty members in the universities of Pakistan Methodology/Approach/Design: This study was performed in Pakistan, using primary data collected through a questionnaire. The total number of participants was 270. A convenient sampling technique was employed for selecting the sample. The majority of the respondents were from the Punjab province followed by Sindh province, KPK, and Baluchistan. Two independent variables perceived organizational politics and job stress, and one dependent variable, Turnover intention, were considered for this research. Reliability analysis and multiple regressions were used as data analysis in this study. Results: The independent variable i:e Perceived organizational politics selected for the research is found to be positive and significant with relation to the dependent variable i:e Turnover Intention. This means the management can predict the turnover intention of employees by taking into consideration the variables such as organizational politics, and mediating variable- job stress. Practical Implications: The practical implication of this research will help the management to control the effects of politics in the organization on the job of faculty members and design policies and training to engage and deal with the stress caused by organizational politics and retain the employees and decrease the turnover rate in universities. Originality/Value: This is one of the few studies that evaluate the effect of politics on turnover intention due to job stress in the context of Universities. This is important for both academia and scholars alike. Numerous studies recently paid attention to the impact of work politics on turnover intent. Thus, this analysis would aggregate the variable of past studies along with job stress, to check the effect on turnover intention.

Under the impact of COVID-19, research on behavior recognition are highly needed. In this paper, we combine the algorithm of self-adaptive coder and recurrent neural network to realize the research of behavior pattern recognition. At present, most of the research of human behavior recognition is focused on the video data, which is based on the video number. At the same time, due to the complexity of video image data, it is easy to violate personal privacy. With the rapid development of Internet of things technology, it has attracted the attention of a large number of experts and scholars. Researchers have tried to use many machine learning methods, such as random forest, support vector machine and other shallow learning methods, which perform well in the laboratory environment, but there is still a long way to go from practical application. In this paper, a recursive neural network algorithm based on long and short term memory (LSTM) is proposed to realize the recognition of behavior patterns, so as to improve the accuracy of human activity behavior recognition.

The presented study discusses the issues of applying the Common Customs Tariff (CCT) rates of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) on rough diamonds and the impact thereof on the exports of stones cut and polished inArmeniaand then exported toRussia.Aim. The study aims to identify the possible strategies Armenian diamond cutting and polishing companies could adopt as a response to the application of the CCT rates on rough diamonds and how it would affect exports to various destinations, namely to Russia.Tasks. The authors analyze the current state of the gems and jewelry sector and substantiate the need to either integrate it into the jewelry manufacturing sector or to apply various strategies to facilitate exports to either Russia or other destinations in the medium term in response to the application of the CCT rates.Methods. This study uses general scientific methods of cognition, including analytical and methodological approaches and elements of forecasting. Possible strategies the Armenian diamond cutting and polishing companies could adopt in the medium term in response to the application of the EAEU CCT rates are determined using the analytical research method, forecasts in the context of the developments in the Armenian gem processing and jewelry market and global trends, statistical data on the imports and exports of cut and polished gems and jewelry for 2014–2018 published by the UN Comtrade Statistics.Results. Statistics on the exports of processed diamonds from 2014 to 2018 highlights the issue associated with the loss of competitiveness suffered by Armenian companies (mainly in comparison with Indian diamond cutters). The major global trends in the diamond cutting and polishing business indicate that it could be virtually impossible for Armenian cutters and polishers to compete with Indian companies in the medium term if they do not comes to investing in new technology to achieve operational efficiency. For these companies, it is important not to lose the Russian market due to an increase in the tariff rate and concentrate on the processing of gems that are larger than 1 carat. Another strategy to avoid an increase in the customs tariff rates would depend on the Armenian government’s ability to negotiate with Russia in respect of direct imports of diamond stones from Russian manufactures. Two other options for Armenian cutters involve focusing on cutting and polishing of rubies, sapphires, emeralds, etc. or integrating into the jewelry sector either by being the primary supplier or by considering this business as a channel to sell processed diamond stones by setting up their own jewelry manufacturing companies.Conclusions. With CCT going into effect in January 2021 and India’s dominant role in the diamond cutting and polishing business, Armenia needs to carefully consider all of the strategies the Armenian companies could adopt, as discussed above. As a member state of the EAEU, Armenia freely exports to Russia, however, further exports to Russia would depend on Armenia’s ability to ensure that cost-effective operations are in place, or to concentrate on the processing of precious gems rather than diamonds, or to switch to the manufacturing of jewelry items as a major export item.Practical Implication. The findings of this study could be of interest to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia and Business Armenia that could be used in elaborating the strategy for the development of Armenian gems and jewelry sector of the economy.
