Mechatronics is a multidisciplinary branch that combines electronics, mechanics, and computer science. Due to the digital revolution, mechatronics is growing fast, rapidly spreading from manufacturing to many new sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, security, and transportation. As a consequence, mechatronics training courses are proliferating at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Nowadays, a considerable number of educational institutions, both academic and vocational, are offering mechatronics education, however their programs are not homogeneous and depend on teaching staff competence and available resources. This paper presents NewMetro, an EU funded project that aims to develop an innovative European framework of competences for mechatronics education and an educational model able to address the needs of young people as well as adult workers undergoing requalification programs. The philosophy of the project and the first activities carried out are illustrated and discussed.

Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) in schools are predominantly heterocentric. Consequently, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning young people have reported feeling excluded. This exclusion results in feelings of being “different” and “other,” which in turn leads to further disengagement in the sex education classroom, contributing to poor sexual health literacy, greater risk of abusive relationships, and higher rates of sexually transmitted infections. A rapid review was undertaken to identify the impact of non-inclusive sex education. The review makes recommendations for policy and practice, which includes the provision of training courses to school teaching staff with an emphasis on inclusive RSE, appropriate online resources for lesbian, gay, bisexual transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) young people, as well as offering 1:1 emotional health support for LGBTQ young people as they begin to question their sexual orientation.

ABSTRACT The learning society is an epistemological challenge for the university to establish a theory that displays independence and active participation of students in training responsibilities, values and behaviors, dimensions where the performance of the teaching staff in the disciplinary intersections requires creativity do intentionality and consciousness possible. Ukraine’s integration into global and European educational space, efficient implementation of educational reforms in this direction, the improvement of the quality of children and young people education is impossible without proper development of fundamental principles of marketing and management of educational innovations, first of all, among the Heads of New Ukrainian School. However, the absence of efficient mechanisms in Ukraine for training the above-mentioned Heads on marketing and management of educational innovations in New Ukrainian School negatively affects the quality of education therein and undermines the State education system in general. Therefore, the pressing issue at the current stage of education development in Ukraine is to determine the modalities and resources for the development of entrepreneurial and managerial competencies among the Heads of general secondary education institutions in the context of the power decentralization and establishment of consolidated territorial communities. With due regard for priority and pendency of the above-mentioned issue, its incomplete study, the principal objective of this study is to determine the key stages and describe the process of developing fundamental principles of marketing and management of educational innovations among the Heads of New Ukrainian School and measures for their efficient implementation. After performing analysis we have found that marketing and management of educational innovations of the Head of New Ukrainian School is his/her integrated, consistent and purposeful activity along with analysis and satisfaction of fundamentally new types of demand for educational services in the context of taking unconventional managerial decisions at his/her institution during such process.  Moreover, with due regard to the aforementioned approach, we outlined the key stages of the fundamental principles development of marketing and management of educational innovations among the Heads of New Ukrainian School. So they include: the formation and control of specialists team towards development and implementation of educational innovations; determination of educational services market segment, demand for which needs to be satisfied; definition of criteria and conditions towards formation and satisfaction of demand for providing certain types of educational services etc. It is established that there are problems in the process of implementation of all above-mentioned stages, namely: absence of financial independence of educational institutions; the desire of the Heads of educational institutions to have legal and financial independence; positive managerial experience of the Heads of educational institutions regarding development and implementation of educational innovations etc. In order to avoid all above-mentioned problems, we have determined measures for the efficient implementation of marketing and management of educational innovations by the Heads of New Ukrainian School. They include: providing financial autonomy to educational institutions; performing professional training of the Heads of educational institutions, their deputies and teaching staff in general; forming new and improving the existing material and technical resources of educational institutions; implementing professionally oriented staff policy by the Heads of educational institutions in order to attract the most promising and young professionals to work as teachers etc. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is to determine, substantiate and analyze the key stages of fundamental principles development of marketing and management of educational innovations by the Heads of New Ukrainian School in the context of transformation of regulatory system and scientific and pedagogical approaches to children and young people education (shift in priorities and components of the development in this area of social activity). The obtained results of the research is the ground for studying and providing a practical solution of the problem regarding the formation of high-quality staffing and provision of fundamentally new educational services at educational institutions.

Adolescence involves significant developmental changes and challenges including heightened body image concerns. However, there is limited research on adaptive ways of responding to perceived threats to body image. This study uses body image flexibility, derived from contextual behavioral perspectives, and coping theories to explore young people’s responses to body image threats. High school and university students (12 male, 15 female) aged 12 to 24 years were recruited from educational institutions in a metropolitan area of Australia. Thematic analysis of semistructured interviews identified themes related to body image threats from internal and external sources. In response to these threats, young people reported coping by changing the content of, and how they related to, perceived threats, and seeking social support. In addition, young people viewed coping as a dynamic process that changed over time and across situations. Reported processes of attending to, and allowing, momentary negative experiences and connecting with other important life domains were consistent with body image flexibility. The coping context affected the selection of coping strategies, with body image flexibility facilitating more adaptive coping for some participants. Further investigation of contextual behavioral approaches, such as body image flexibility, could help to better understand and promote adaptive body image coping in youth.

Today, many students are moving towards higher education courses that do not suit them and end up failing. The purpose of this study is to help provide counselors with better knowledge so that they can offer future students courses corresponding to their profile. The second objective is to allow the teaching staff to propose training courses adapted to students by anticipating their possible difficulties. This is possible thanks to a machine learning algorithm called Random Forest, allowing for the classification of the students depending on their results. We had to process data, generate models using our algorithm, and cross the results obtained to have a better final prediction. We tested our method on different use cases, from two classes to five classes. These sets of classes represent the different intervals with an average ranging from 0 to 20. Thus, an accuracy of 75% was achieved with a set of five classes and up to 85% for sets of two and three classes.

Business education in the world is developing at a fairly high pace. The reason for this is the possibility of exchanging experience between different countries in the field of entrepreneurial technologies, as well as the need to improve the relationship between the "scientific minds" of different countries. In this regard, the leading educational institutions of the world develop and implement various training programs aimed at improving the skills of students in the field of marketing, management, the world economy, as well as international economic relations. International business education should be studied from the perspective of measuring the effect of internationalization of business schools and training programs by offering international training courses, foreign exchanges, subsidiaries, knowledge exports, various types of cooperation.
