The participants of this study were second-grade elementary school students, and the sample was 40 students and 2 English teachers for 10 months.Results. The research results demonstrate a gap between the needs of learners and current conditions; therefore, the whole language approach, the multimedia, and technology-based English teaching materials will become an inevitable need and even become a solution in the world of education.Scientific novelty. Further research is needed to study educational system change during the COVID-19 pandemic or after, especially in designing teaching materials in various disciplines and at different educational stages. Future studies could be generalised by these research findings to other populations in different learning contexts, and the findings presented in thisarticle should be further explored. In particular, technology-based and multimedia-based teaching materials must be explored more deeply. Furthermore, further research should focus on utilising a different model for needs analysis in language education to verify the need for effective English learning in changing the education system during the pandemic and after.Practical significance. It is thought that this study will contribute to the stakeholders in terms to provide empirical evidence of what necessities, lack, and want should be considered when a teacher will design and develop teaching materials during the COVID-19 period or afte.

The aim of this needs analysis article was to investigate the students' needs for computer assisted cooperative learning (CACL) in studying reading skills. The needs analysis depends on present situation analysis (PSA). The result of the analysis showed that both professors and students use the internet for reading outside the university. Moreover, both professors and students showed that the students need CALL, cooperative learning in studying reading skills. There is a need, therefore, for implementing computer assisted cooperative learning in teaching reading comprehension skills because this is a new method for Yemeni students and it might help them to improve their reading skills as reading has not been improved among Yemeni university EFL students in the last two decades. More importantly, although Yemeni students have not experienced e-learning before, they are willing to accept CACL as a new teaching method.

Recently, with the development of network and technologies, the traditional teacher-centered mode is gradually losing its main status. Multimedia-assisted foreign language teaching is becoming the most popular way of teaching. At present, computer based multimedia is broadly used in classrooms. Multimedia-aided English teaching can introduce video, figure, and text into teaching practice, and improve English teaching efficiency. Teachers, teaching materials and learners, as the three main elements in English teaching, play an essential part in classroom. Although relevant surveys have been done investigating English classroom under the conventional educational mode, very few people have thought the change of the three elements more specific. Therefore, the paper talks about the difference between the conventional educational model and multimedia-aided teaching method in English classroom. The author takes the teachers and students in Linfen NO.1 senior school as the research object, aiming to study the role and the interrelationship of the three. Through interviews, classroom observation and questionnaire, the thesis concisely summarizes the role and functions of the three elements in Linfen NO.1 senior school. It is a rational analysis and summary of multimedia-assisted English teaching theoretically and practically. Thus it will be helpful for the improvement of English teaching effect.

This research develops e-module teaching materials by using a digitalized book application based on ethno constructivism and also discerns students' responses to the e-modules. We employed the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) to create the books. The ADDIE model consists of five steps, namely (1) introduction, (2) planning, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. The subjects of this study were 21 fifth-grade students of elementary schools 112/I. The re-sults of this study captured that the product was favored by most of the students with percentages of interest (72.73%), motivation (77.27%), and perception (63.6%).

The quality of Physical Education (PE) education in high schools is closely related to interactive educational efficiency in classrooms. Teachers and students can improve their interest in learning through classroom interaction. Teachers can adjust educational programs according to the existing shortcomings of physical education, stimulate students’ interests in sports, and reduce student tensions and learning pressures. Students can increase their enthusiasm and creativity in sports, thereby enhancing students’ sports skills. Therefore, in a practical teaching process, it’s important to emphasize enhancing the effectiveness of interactive instruction in the classroom. This makes it possible to develop sports instruction. This paper analyzes how to effectively improve the effects of classroom interactions in a lower secondary school, and proposes a concrete teaching method for physical education. First, this paper explains the importance of improving the effectiveness of classroom education for junior high school students, and analyzes the present state of PE classroom education, and proposes an improvement strategy including physical education, and rationalizes students’ physical and mental development to stimulate students’ interest in sports. The aim of this article is to show how German students can be motivated by learning games. Apart from the development and didacticisation of the learning game “Marbles”, the attitude of  Turkish families and language teaching educational establishments and the support of the DaF lessons by German mediating institutions in Turkey will be considered. The attitude of Turkish families to learning foreign languages is mostly positive. Turkish educational authorities and those responsible for education take various measures to expand foreign language teaching availability in the schools. German institutions which provide teachers (Goethe-Institut, ZfA, DAAD) promote the improvement of German teaching in Turkey. Nevertheless, the quality of German teaching is not satisfactory mostly because the available teachers are not adequately qualified, teacher training is remote from practice, the quality of text books and teaching materials, the traditions of learning, the excessively large classes, inadequate learning environment (language cabinets and equipment), the nature and method of central examinations (multiple choice) and their significance in the Turkish educational system. In the long-term, this leads to frustration in both teachers and students. The Turkish educational authorities initially took measures to expand the availability of language teaching in the course of harmonisation of the Turkish educational system to that of the EU e.g. the introduction of a second foreign language. German mediating institutions ensure reasonable further training for teachers locally and in Germany and support the creation of teaching materials etc. The Ministry of Education in Turkey, has started to take measures for students to learn other languages such as German, French, Russian, Spanish, Japanese, Italian, Arabic, ethnic languages in Turkey, et cetera in the educational institutions in addition to English. For example, in the Anatolian high schools two foreign languages are taught.  The Board for Higher Education in Turkey, has introduced second foreign language lessons in  foreign language teacher programs, envisioned to be taken for three semesters, in order for the language teachers to gain experience in the field of two languages.  Private education institutes are emphasizing that they are teaching more than one foreign language in order to draw more students. Families make an economic sacrifice for their children in order for them to learn foreign languages. It is observed that in some districts of certain major cities, teaching of foreign languages has started to be given as early as at kindergarten level. In Turkey, German is preferred as the second foreign language in general. Nowadays, German is the second preferred language from primary to high school in Turkey. The quality of German language lessons should be increased for more students to select German as the second foreign language in the coming years. Despite all these efforts, teaching foreign language is not up to the desired level in Turkey (Bayraktaroğlu, 2014, pp. 9-14; Demircan, 2014, pp. 17-22). For that reason, it is important that motivating teaching methods and teaching materials be developed for German teaching.
