Covid-19 does not only have impact on the psychological well-being but also the work conditions of each individual. Psychological well-being is a concept of happiness that is present in every individual and is formed from various kinds of life experiences, both positive and negative. Psychological well-being is one of the factors that can affect work engagement. Work engagement requires a positive attitude based on vigor, dedication and absorption to be involved emotionally, cognitively, physically in the professional environment. This study aims to determine the relationship between psychological well-being and work engagement for millennial workers during Covid-19 pandemic. The methods used were quantitative and correlational. The research sample was 50 millennial workers who work in Malang City. The sample was taken using the incidental sampling technique. The Utrecht Work Engagement Scales (UWES) and the Psychological Well-being Scales were used. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson product moment correlation. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between psychological well-being and work engagement for millennial workers in Malang. This means that millennial workers tend to have a positive attitude towards a job. Keywords: Psychological well-being, Work Engagement, Millennial Workers, Covid-19 pandemic period

This study was designed to measure the relationship between emotional intelligence and the psychological well-being of secondary school teachers. This correlational study used a multistage random sampling technique to select 1200 teachers from 20 boys and 20 girls' high schools in district Lahore. The emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (?=.86) and Psychological Well-Being Scale (?=.89) were adapted as tools for data collection. The results showed that emotional intelligence and psychological well-being were strongly correlated with each other. Factor wise descriptive statistics of emotional intelligence showed that teachers were almost completely agreed with their students while teaching. Descriptive statistics of the psychological well-being of teachers showed that they were almost completely agreed while dealing with stakeholders. Female teachers demonstrated a higher score than male in emotional intelligence and psychological well-being. Married teachers demonstrated a higher score in emotional intelligence and psychological well-being. It was recommended that male and unmarried teachers be motivated to improve emotions and well-being.

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of psychological well being experienced by students. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between body image and psychological well being in students of SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Porong. This research is a quantitative research with correlational quantitative method. The population in this study were all students of SMA Muhamadiyah 4 Porong, totaling 62 students. The sample in this study amounted to 62 students with saturated sampling technique. In the data collection technique, the researcher uses a psychological scale, this type of data collection uses a Likert scale in the form of a body image scale (ɑ = 0.797) and a psychological well being scale (ɑ = 0.948). The data analysis technique used Pearson's product-moment correlation with the help of SPSS 22.0. The results of the data analysis of this study indicate that the correlation coefficient (rxy) is 0.246 with a significance of 0.027 <0.05, which means that there is a significant positive relationship between body image and psychological well being in students of SMA Muhamadiyah 4 Porong. The effect of body image on psychological well being in this study was 6.1%.

This study aims to study the effect of and psychological well-being on job performance through work involvement in bank employees in Surabaya. This study uses a type of causality research that uses quantitative. Sampling technique using accidental sampling. Amount of respondents is 81 bank employees in Surabaya. The statistical analysis in this study is used the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the help of Smart PLS 3.2.9 software. The results showed that Self-esteem was not a significant positive effect on job performance. Self-esteem has a positive and significant effect on work engagement. The psychological well being did not have a positive effect on job performance. Psychological well being has a positive and significant effect on work engagement; work engagement has a positive and significant effect on job performance, has an indirect effect on job performance through work engagement, psychological well being has an indirect effect on job performance through work engagement.

Smulders, Gedrag & Organisatie, volume 22, September 2009, nr. 3, pp. 214-231 Emotional labour could have negative as well as positive effects on the employees' psychological well-being. In this cross-sectional study among 149 high school teachers, the relationship between emotional labour – in this study conceptualized as emotional demands – and emotional exhaustion and work engagement respectively was studied. First of all, it was examined whether emotional dissonance mediates the relationship between emotional demands and both emotional exhaustion and work engagement. Next, the possible moderating effect of two emotion regulation strategies, surface acting and deep acting, on the relationship between emotional dissonance and the two outcome variables was studied. The results showed that emotional dissonance partially mediated the relationship between emotional demands and emotional exhaustion. Furthermore, it was found that deep acting had a buffer effect on the negative relationship between emotional dissonance and work engagement. Finally, the implications of the results are discussed and suggestions for further research are mentioned.

The study investigates the mediating role of psychological capital in the relationship between personal resources (mindfulness, self-leadership) and psychological well-being (burnout, work engagement) for a sample of 226 public sector employees in South Africa. Both mindfulness and self-leadership have a statistically significant positive influence on psychological capital, while psychological capital mediated the relationship between both mindfulness and work engagement, and mindfulness and burnout. psychological capital also mediates the relationship between both self-leadership and engagement, and self-leadership and burnout. Psychological capital has a statistically significant positive influence on work engagement and a statistically significant negative influence on burnout. The results show that mindfulness and self-leadership strategies can enhance psychological capital, reducing burnout and increasing engagement. Point for practitioners The public sector requires energised employees to serve the public despite demanding circumstances. Therefore, management must find ways to support employees in increasing work engagement levels and avoiding burnout. Since personal resources (mindfulness, self-leadership, psychological capital) are shown to enhance engagement and decrease burnout, managers and human resource managers can build these individual resources through training and development, and consider them in recruitment processes.

Teenagers are the next generation of the nation who are expected to be potential leaders of the nation. Therefore teenagers need to feel prosperous in order to develop and gain knowledge well. Psychological well-being is an important element that needs to be cultivated in individuals in order to fully strengthen engagement in facing responsibilities and achieving their potential. Psychological well-being is influenced by personality types and spirituality. Knowing the relationship between spirituality and personality types with psychological well-being teenagers in SMP Negeri 1 Banguntapan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. The research design used in this study was a descriptive correlation study with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were teenagers at SMP Negeri 1 Banguntapan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling as many as 70 people. Data analysis using Chi Square statistical test with a significance level of 5%. Nurse spirituality was low category 36 (51%) respondents, extrovert personality type 39 (56%) respondents and low psychological well-being 37 (53%) respondents. There is a significant relationship between spirituality and psychological well-being with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.005). Then the relationship between spirituality and psychological well-being was also significant with a p-value of 0.015 (<0.005).

Spiritual people perform some spiritual practices for attaining psychological well-being, mental peace, and different types of healings and for many other purposes. The main aim of the present study is to investigate the relationship between spiritual practices and psychological well-being among Hindus. Spiritual practices positively affect psychological well-being. In the present study, Spiritual Practices Scale-Hindus (SPS-H) developed by Singh and Husain (2014) and Psychological Well-being Scale developed by Prakash and Bhogle (1995) were administered on 130 Hindus (89 male and 41 female). They were drawn from different temples situated in Aligarh and Agra districts of U.P. Data was analysed by using Pearson product moment correlation to examine the relationship between the scores obtained on the spiritual practices and psychological well-being scales. The Significant positive relationship was found between spiritual practices and psychological well-being among Hindus.

The purpose of this research was to examine the relationship between psychological well being and working motivation of employees. The method used in this study was a quantitative correlational design. The subjects of this study were 64 employees of bureau of education level III at “X” city, which were selected by using population sampling technique. Data of psychological well-being and working motivation were obtained by using Likert scales. The technique of data analysis in this study was Pearson’s product moment. The result of this study shows that the coefficient correlation is 0.788 in the Significant level of 0.000. The result means that the hypothesis is accepted, that there is positive correlation between psychological well-being and working motivation. The result also indicates that 78.8% of working motivation influenced by psychological well-being and the rest of it 21.2% influenced by other variables that were not measured in this study.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan psychological well- being dengan motivasi kerja pegawai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional. Subjek dalam penelitian ini ialah 64 pegawai golongan III di Dinas Pendidikan Kota X yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik sampling populasi. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala likert berupa skala psycgological well-being dan skala motivasi kerja. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah uji analisis korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa psychological well-being memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan motivasi kerja dengan arah hubungan yang positif, dapat dilihat dari signifikansi sebesar 0,000 dan yang artinya sebesar 78,8% pada motivasi kerja dipengaruhi oleh psychological well-being dan sisanya sebesar 21,2% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diukur dalam penelitian ini.

The aim of the article is to argue theoretically and empirically study the relationship between social expectations and psychological well-being of university students. Methodological starting points of empirical research are outlined. Valid and reliable test methods are used to study the psychological content parameters of social expectations and psychological well-being. The results determined that the psychological features of social expectations and psychological well-being of student's youth are theoretically substantiated. It was found that the respondents have an average level of parameters of psychological well-being and social expectations, which indicates moderate life satisfaction and the presence of adequate orientation in the socio-psychological reality. The most formed components of psychological well-being are the balance of affect and meaningfulness, which indicates the awareness of their own lives by student’s youth. It is recorded that the respondents have the least formed - self-acceptance, positive attitude and autonomy.
