Purpose of the study: Tegas Desa tradition has been performed by the people of Ngasem Village for generations and is the heritage of the ancestors whose values ​​are still upheld. This study aims to describe the Tegas Desa tradition of Ngasem village agrarian community, identify Tegas Desa tradition as local cultural wisdom, describe ubarampe or offerings needed in performing the tradition, and explain the procession of the Tegas Desa tradition. Methodology: This study is a qualitative descriptive study with an ethnographic approach. The data were sourced from the informants including the caretaker, village officials, and villagers. The data used were in the form of texts from interviews with informants, videos, photographs, relevant studies, and relevant books. The data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document studies. Main Findings: The results show that Tegas Desa tradition is a manifestation of gratitude for the rice yields of the agrarian community in Ngasem Village. The Ngasem Village community still believes in Javanese customs and culture whose values ​​are still upheld. Ubarampe or offerings use a lot of different types of foods. There are some differences or reductions in the implementation of the present tradition and the past. Applications of this study: The implications of the study can be social capital in preserving a culture that can be used as a reinforcement of the nation's character through mutual cooperation, unity, and harmony among citizens. Tegas Desa tradition can be used as a local asset to get the support of the local government to preserve cultural heritage as a form of local cultural wisdom of the agrarian community. Novelty/Originality of this study: There is no or has not been any study that discusses Tegas Desa tradition carried out by the agrarian community of Ngasem Village.

This research explains the mysticism of mappadendang tradition in Allamungeng Patue Village, Bone Regency, which is believed by the local community as a form of shielding from danger and can resist reinforcemen such as Covid-19 outbreak. This research is a descriptive study using qualitative method and an ethnographic approach. This research was carried out with the aim of identifying the mystical space in mappadendang tradition which was held in Allamungeng Patue Village. After conducting the tracing process, the researcher found that mappadendang tradition which was held in Allamungeng Patue Village, Bone Regency in July 2020 was not a tradition of harvest celebration as generally in several villages in Bone Regency, especially Bugis tribe, but mappadendang was held as a form of shielding from all distress including Covid-19 outbreak. This trust was obtained after one of the immigrants who now resides in the village dreamed of meeting an invisible figure (tau panrita) who ordered a party to be held that would bring all the village people because remembering that in the village during Covid-19 happened to almost all the existing areas in Indonesia, the people of Allamungeng Patue Village were spared from the outbreak. Spontaneously, the people of Allamungeng Patue Village worked together to immediately carry out the mappadendang tradition as a form of interpretation of the message carried by the figure.

Bawean Island which is within the scope of Gresik Regency has the potential of nature, culture, and religiontourism. The natural resources that have this potential will develop if managed and promoted with an effective and efficient strategy. The purpose of this study to analyze the communication strategy used by the local government of Gresik Regency in promoting potential tourism in Bawean Island. In this qualitative descriptive study the primary data was obtained through in-depth interviews with the head of Departement of Culture Tourist Youth and Sport in Gresik. The questions in the interview related to Bawean Island tourism promotion strategic plan along with what has been done by related parties. Data analysis was performed using interactive techniques from Miles and Huberman. The results of this study show that the Department of Culture, Tourism, Youth, and Sports has not had a marketing strategy and implementation based Integrated Marketing Communications. The strategies and promotions that have been there are also still not running optimally.

The construction of socio-cultural stigmatization on the understanding of mental disorders is particularly interesting to study in the people with mental disorders who received treatment at the Mental Hospital. Mental disorder is a disease caused by the chaos of thoughts, perceptions and behavior in which the individualaare not able to adjust to themselves, other people, society and the environment. By applying the cultural studies viewpoint that is siding with the oppressed, the study aims to determine the forms and factors causing the stigma of people with mental disorders. The research method used is observation, in-depth interviews and life history data collection. The collected data were then analyzed using qualitative descriptive and interpretative. The results showed that the forms of stigma with mental disorders are divided into two, namely the public stigma (stigma derived from the community) and self-stigma (stigma comes from the patient and his own family). The forms of the public stigma include rejection, exclusion, and violence. The self-stigma takes the forms, among others, prejudice, guilt, fear and anger. Factors behind the stigma of mental disorders are external and internal factors. External factors include, among others, the madness is a disgrace, the myth of mental illness, and people's belief regarding the role of dukun. While the internal factors are family knowledge of the etiology of mental disorders, lack of family support and feelings of shame.

Folklore has a position and a really important function for its proponent people. One of those folklores that exist in Pati, Central Java, is a folklore called Ondorante. In addition to completely describe the story, this research also intend to discover the transmission process and the funtions that appear in the Ondorante. Finally, through qualitative descriptive approach by interview, observation and bibliographical techniques, it appears that the folklore doesn’t only play its role as an entertainment, education, reflection or ritual, but also offers a consciousness to the people about the past, about who were their ancestors and the origin of how their native land formed.

Introduction: COVID-19 is a dangerous, infectious disease that has affected the whole world in the past year. In Indonesia, many nurses were not only infected by the virus but also experienced varying psychological responses in providing treatment and performing their tasks. In other words, they faced the daunting responsibility of fighting the disease while taking care of COVID-19 patients. Objective: The study aimed to describe nurses’ psychological responses in caring for COVID-19 patients in Indonesia. Methods: This was a qualitative descriptive study involving 13 nurses. Using purposive sampling, the participants were selected from three public hospitals in Semarang, Indonesia. These nurses were assigned to take care of COVID-19 patients in the isolation room. The participants underwent face-to-face interviews, either by video calls or through an online application, using semi-structured and in-depth guidelines. The collected data were analyzed using Ello and Kyngas inductive content analysis. Results: During the pandemic, the nurses had the following psychological responses in caring for COVID-19 patients in Indonesia: 1) being constantly stressed in carrying out their duties; 2) having no choice but happy to help patients recover at the same time, and 3) getting closer to God as a form of spiritual relief. Conclusion: This study provides fundamental data related to further psychological interventions for nurses who experience psychological problems during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The purpose of this study was to determine the culture of siri' na pacce in revealing the profits of retail traders from the perspective of Islamic business ethics. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study with an ethnographic approach. This study obtained data from retailers of Bugis-Makassar ethnicity and Muslim who trade at the Panakukkang Market in Makassar. Data collected through a series of observation methods, interviews, secondary data from literature books, journals, the internet, and other complementary data. Research results internalization of siri' na pacce culture and Islamic business ethics in trading produce material and non-material benefits. The internalization of siri' na pacce culture with Islamic business ethics results in the values of tongeng and the principle of truth, the value of lempu' and the principle of tauhid, balance, ihsan, and the value of adele' and the focus of truth. The values in the siri' na pacce culture can implement Islamic business ethics in trade to achieve world happiness and the end, which is the goal of human life.الغرض من هذه الدراسة هو تحديد ثقافة السيري في الكشف عن أرباح تجار التجزئة من منظور أخلاقيات العمل الإسلامية. هذا النوع من البحث هو دراسة وصفية نوعية ذات نهج إثنوغرافي. تم الحصول على مصادر البيانات من تجار التجزئة من عرقية Bugis-Makassar والمسلمين الذين يتاجرون في سوق Panakukkang في Makassar. تم جمع البيانات من خلال سلسلة من طرق المراقبة والمقابلات والبيانات الثانوية من كتب الأدب والمجلات والإنترنت والبيانات التكميلية الأخرى. نتائج البحث عن استيعاب ثقافة السيري وأخلاقيات العمل الإسلامية في التجارة تنتج فوائد مادية وغير مادية. إن استيعاب ثقافة سيري مع أخلاقيات العمل الإسلامية ينتج عنه قيم توغنغ ومبادئ الحقيقة ، وقيم ليمبو ومبادئ التوحيد ، والتوازن ، والحقيقة ، وقيم الإحسان ، وأديل ومبادئ الحقيقة. يمكن تطبيق القيم الواردة في ثقافة السيري ومبادئ أخلاقيات العمل الإسلامية في التجارة لتحقيق السعادة العالمية والغاية التي هي هدف حياة الإنسان على هذه الأرض.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui budaya siri’ na pacce dalam mengungkap keuntungan usaha pedagang eceran perspektif etika bisnis Islam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Sumber data diperoleh dari pedagang eceran bersuku Bugis-Makassar dan beragama Islam yang berdagang di Pasar Panakukkang Makassar. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui serangkaian metode observasi, wawancara, data sekunder dari literatur buku, jurnal, internet, dan data pelengkap lainnya. Hasil Penelitian internalisasi budaya siri’ na pacce dan etika bisnis Islam dalam berdagang menghasilkan keuntungan materi dan non materi. Internalisasi budaya siri’ na pacce dengan etika bisnis Islam menghasilkan nilai togeng dan prinsip kebenaran, nilai lempu’ dan prinsip tauhid, keseimbangan, kebenaran, ihsan, dan nilai adele’ dan prinsip kebenaran. Nilai-nilai terdapat di budaya siri’ na pacce dan prinsip-prinsip etika bisnis Islam dapat di implementasikan dalam berdagang untuk mencapai kebahagian dunia dan akhir yang menjadi tujuan hidup manusia di muka bumi ini.

This research conducted in kenagarian Simabur Pariangan districs Tanah Datar regency, which aims to determine the potential of tradisional market Simabur for people in villages Simabur Pariangan districs Tanah Datar regency both interms of jobs, household incomes and land lease. The type of the research belong to the descriptive study sampling taken technique Proporsional Random Sampling, with a sample of 73 people. The sample is peope there, merchants located around the Simabur market, collecting data though observation and direct observation from the field to the questionnaire. This research resulted in several conclussions : (1) The potential market for employment in the village community in Simabur Pariangan districs Tanah Datar regency to work, on a general merchant, (2) The potential market for the income of the people in the Simabur village Pariangan districs Tanah Datar regency the average income of market than Rp.2.000.000, (3) Potential market for land lease communities in Simabur village Pariangan districs Tanah Datar regency the everage lease for every day is Rp.3000-6000. A Culture and society are two things that cannot be separated, both are closely related and go hand in hand. Sedekah bumi is one of the cultural agrarian societies that continues to be maintained from time to time, including the culture of sedekah bumi carried out by the people of Pancur Temayang village in Bojonegoro. Sedekah bumi tradition has become a routine part of the routine carried out every year by the Pancur community as a form of appreciation for God who has bestowed His fortune through abundant crops so that people can fulfill their daily needs. In conducting this research, researchers used a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach as a basis for conducting observations in the field because researchers needed to enter directly into the object of research to explore the meaning and value of tradition understood by the Pancur village community in carrying out the sedekah bumi tradition. Explained that sedekah bumi carried out by the people of Pancur village has several value benefits, including sociological values, namely with the existence of these activities, the social ties of people from various groups unite. Theological value, namely the implementation of the sedekah bumi as an expression of gratitude for maintaining good relations with God. Ecological value, the existence of sedekah bumi carried out in the village spring, give confidence to the community that the existence of the village spring must be preserved, and the existence of the surrounding ecosystem must also be maintained. In addition,sedekah bumi tradition also received a variety of responses from the village community, some agreed and some did not agree with the implementation of this tradition. [Budaya dan masyarakat merupakan dua hal yang tidak bisa dipisahkan, keduanya saling erat berkaitan dan berjalan beriringan. Sedekah bumi adalah salah satu budaya masyarakat agraris yang terus dijaga dari masa ke masa, termasuk budaya sedekah bumi yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat desa Pancur Temayang Bojonegoro. Tradisi sedekah bumi sudah menjadi bagian rutinitas rutin yang dilakukan setiap tahun oleh masyarakat Pancur sebagai bentuk pengahargaan terhadap Tuhan yang telah melimpahkan rejeki-Nya melalui hasil panen yang melimpah sehingga masyarakat dapat memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya. Dalam melakukan penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi sebagai pijakan untuk melakukan observasi di lapangan hal ini dikarenakan peneliti perlu masuk secara langsung ke objek penelitian untuk mendalami makna serta nilai tradisi yang dipahami masyarakat desa Pancur dalam melaksanakan tradisi sedekah bumi, adapun hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa sedekah bumi yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat desa Pancur mempunyai beberapa manfaat nilai, diantaranya adalah nilai sosiologis, yakni dengan adanya kegiatan tersebut, ikatan social masyarakat dari berbagai golongan bersatu. Nilai teologis, yakni pelaksanaan sedekah bumi sebagai ungkapan syukur untuk menjaga hubungan baik dengan Tuhan. Nilai ekologis, keberdaan sedekah yang dilaksanakan di sendang desa, memberikan kepercayaan pada masyarakat bahwa keberadaan sendang desa harus tetap dilestarikan, dan keberadaan ekosistem di sekitarnya juga harus dijaga. Selain itu tradisi sedekah bumi juga mendapatkan respon yang beragam dari masyarakat desa, ada yang setuju dan ada juga yang kurang setuju dengan pelaksanaan tradisi ini.]

Sapi-sapian is one of the traditions in Kenjo Village which is carried out every Muharram month as an expression of gratitude to God for abundance of agricultural crops. Sapi-sapian tradition contains four processions, namely the selametan pecel gerang, tumpeng serakat, ider bumi oncor-oncoran,and the celebration, which contain ethnomathematics. In order to get the most out of ethnomathematics in the Sapi-sapian tradition, a qualitative-descriptive study was conducted as a method. Due to the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic which caused the Sapi-sapian tradition to be carried out optimally in 2020, data was collected using in-depth interviews, and cultural documentation. The research informants were the Chief of the Kenjo Village Custom, the Deputy Head of the Adat, and one resident who had been involved in the implementation of the Sapi-sapian tradition. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively based on several analysis processes in ethnographic research. The results showed that there are mathematical concepts found in the Sapi-sapian tradition of Kenjo Village, including : two and three dimensional geometry, fractions, transformations, and traditional measurements with non-standard units. <p class="ListParagraph1"><em>This article focuses on implementing the Social learning method, which is used by Persatuan Islam organization in Garut district (West Java) and aims to found the impact of the curriculum for Santri life to strengthen the puritanism among society. This is mainly because Pesantren Persatuan Islam, the Islamic educational institution from Indonesia, has led citizens to broaden their knowledge and skills. Santri (pesantren students) should take a preaching class, which becomes one of the most well-known curriculums to spread Islamic values in society. This is a qualitative-descriptive that uses observation and in-depth interviews. The study indicates the method in Pesantren Persatuan Islam Garut district has a huge impact on social skills since it can also implement in society. This is mainly because the strategies of the Persatuan Islam (Persis) organization give some social contributions, so the people become accustomed to the Persis activities and leading some members of society to enroll their children to some Persatuan Islam religious schools.</em><em>          </em><em></em></p><p>Artikel ini berfokus pada implementasi dari metode pembelajaran sosial yang diberlakukan oleh organisasi Persatuan Islam di Kabupaten Garut (Jawa Barat) dan bertujuan untuk menemukan dampak dari kurikulum pada kehidupan santri dalam rangka penguatan nilai purtan di masyarakat. Hal ini didasarkan pada Pesantren Persatuan Islam sebagai salah salah satu Lembaga Pendidikan Islam dari Indonesia telah membina masyarakat untuk dapat memperluas ilmu pengetahuan dan keahliannya. Santri (siswa pesantren) harus mendalami dakwah yang menjadi salah satu kurikulum paling populer sehingga mereka mampu untuk menyebarluaskan ajaran Islam puritan di kalangan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dan teknik observasi serta wawancara kepada beberapa sumber penting yang berkaitan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa metode yang digunakan oleh Persatuan Islam Kab. Garut memberikan dampak yang besar pada kemampuan sosial sejak hal tersebut dapat diimplementasikan di dalam masyarakat. Hal ini disebabkan karena strategi yang digunakan oleh Persis memberikan kontribusi sosial sehingga orang-orang menjadi terbiasa dengan kegiatan Persis serta membuat masyarakat tertarik untuk mendaftarkan anak-anak mereka ke beberapa pesantren Persatuan Islam.</p>
