In the new era, it is almost impossible to imagine a modern person without the information and communication technologies that fill his life. These technologies permeate all areas of activity, and education is no exception. Despite the huge number of research papers distributed on Twitter integrated into the fields of Education, there is a deficiency and lack of content analysis research papers. Thus, the search was conducted on the three major databases such as Web of Science, Scopus and the EBSCO with the keywords selected as “Twitter in Education”, the study thus was based on content analysis. All studies published on Web of Science, Scopus and the EBSCO were statistically analyzed according to the frequencies and percentages. The distribution of the studies was analyzed regarding the publication years, document type, subject areas, organizations, authors, languages, countries/territories, and the research methods. The findings of this study reveal the importance of Twitter in Education, especially in medicine, social sciences and computer sciences. The findings of this study also highlighted the considerable growth of popularity over the years.

In this article, an analysis of the existing literature is carried out. It focused on the netiquette (country, date, objectives, methodological design, main variables, sample details, and measurement methods) included in the Web of Science and Scopus databases. This systematic review of the literature has been developed entirely according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews (PRISMA). The initial search yielded 53 results, of which 18 exceeded the inclusion criteria and were analyzed in detail. These results show that this is a poorly defined line of research, both in theory and in practice. There is a need to update the theoretical framework and an analysis of the empirical proposals, whose samples are supported by students or similar. Knowing, understanding, and analyzing netiquette is a necessity in a society in which information and communication technologies (ICT) have changed the way of socializing and communicating. A new reality in which there is cyber-bullying, digital scams, fake news, and haters on social networks.

The term “digitalization” for a long time settled in the agenda of significant events dedicated to education. The education system, fulfilling the adopted program, should prepare a huge number of schoolchildren, students and workers for life with the indispensable use of information and communication technologies. However, often the actual digitalization is reduced either to the digitization of educational materials and documents in educational structures, or to unhindered access to the Internet. If the request for digitalization is addressed to education, then, being in the pedagogical space, it would be reasonable to first determine what and how to teach. The problem of the lack of a reasonable psychological and pedagogical concept of digital learning, which could be used by the subjects of the educational process as a basic one, is raised in the article.

E-learning, linked to the incorporation of information and communication technologies in education, has been a revolution for training processes. In this sense, the small private online courses (SPOC) become a resource with which to design training actions for teachers. This study, through a pedagogical and bibliometric analysis, aims to know the characteristics of SPOCs as a training resource and the evolution of its scientific production in the Scopus and Web of Science databases. The results reflect a significant increase in scientific production in recent years, highlighting the interest created in university institutions and in the areas of computer science and social sciences. Among the pedagogical reasons, we find the wide academic offer, the personalization of the training process or the improvement of the digital competence when being formed through SPOC. In short, the growth of SPOCs is related to the advantages that their didactic characteristics bring in an educational context in which technologies play a key role, so it becomes a resource of interest for teacher training.

Information and communication technologies (ICT) have been implemented mainly in government organizations, where e-government has become prevalent. The previous research focuses mostly on e-government adoption from the perspective of citizens. However, there is a scarcity of research conducted from the viewpoint of the employee. This study tried to identify and predict the factors that influence an employee to adopt technology implemented at the workplace by focusing on acceptance technology theories. The unified theory of acceptance and usage of technology (UTAUT) and Task-technology fit (TTF) using relevant findings in this review. The attempt to conduct a comprehensive explanation and analysis of the existing literature up to 2018, to understand the current situation of e-government implementation. Reviewing procedures were done by reviewing articles on e-government and related work by using indexing databases “web of science & Scopus. Finally, the results of this paper are the factors that make employees directly or indirectly adopt e-government.

As information and communication technologies (ICTs) become ever more present and pervasive in daily life, the use or non-use of ICTs can provide choices as well as obstacles or exclusion. As people look for ways to reduce ICT use and push back on ICT immersion, some express resistance to ICTs via ICTs. Building on past scholarship based largely on interviews, surveys and textual analysis, this exploratory study analyzes a collection of images posted online that express a critique of the ubiquity and constancy of ICT use, in more dramatic ways than texts allow and in far more subtle ways than a binary division between users and non-users. Our findings of this visual content analysis of 233 images discuss the use of humor, metaphor and blurred boundaries between digital and non-digital worlds in images of resistance and show distinct patterns in representations of problems engendered by ICTs, their criticism and in the antidotes suggested in the images.

Objective. The new scenarios arising from globalisation and the development of information and communication technologies have obliged marketing to adapt to a more complex, ever-changing and highly uncertain environment. That adaptation has, in turn, made it necessary to review the conditions of engagement of professionals in the sector. Thus, the aim of this study is to identify the skills required in business-to-business (B2B) job vacancies for marketing graduates at national and international companies based in Spain, with international links and, therefore, forming part of the globalised market. Methodology. Employing the desktop research technique, an analysis was performed on the listings posted on the leading job portals in Spain. Following this, a content analysis was conducted on the data collected from the listings, quantifying and classifying the job requirements appearing in them. Results. The importance of social media in relation to technical skills, the relevance of a good proficiency in English as regards meta-skills, the requirement of digital marketing knowledge and expertise with respect to conceptual marketing knowledge, and a strong correlation between the experience and salary variables were observed. Limitations. There is scant specific literature on marketing job requirements in the B2B sector. Practical implications. This study is particularly valuable insofar as it provides universities, business schools and higher education centres knowledge of the latest marketing skills and competencies required in the B2B sector.
