The conclusion has appeared that among the most promising projects of the XXI century the international program for the revival of the Silk Road on the right holds a special place in its historical and universal scale. Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, in the city of Turkestan, and Tamgaly petroglyphs (Almaty region) are included in the list of World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. This is a clear proof that our ancestors left a rich heritage and recognised worldwide. We have a unique of its kind, the only post-Soviet state program ‘Cultural Heritage’ in the country. Thanks to her, we have restored dozens of landmarks. Kazakhstan is rich in historical monuments of the country and some objects of archeology are a thousand year old. Not surprisingly, we go to the historians from many countries. Keywords: Tourism, industry, study, research, formation.

This year marks the 105th anniversary of the operation conducted during the First World War: during this operation Russian troops, after a series of successful actions on land and at sea, captured the Black Sea port of Trebizond (today Trabzon). The capture of Trebizond helped to improve the basic conditions of the Black Sea Fleet and enabled an unimpeded delivery of reinforcements by sea to the right flank of the Russian army in the Caucasus. As a result, the Russian empire was close to establishing control over a significant part of the Ottoman Turkey’s territory. In the aftermath of the operation, the local Muslim population left Trebizond together with the Turkish army. The Russians, who entered the city without a fight, set for the transforming the city in their own way. Turkish historians, using the material of the Ottoman, Russian, and foreign periodicals, as well as archival documents, have studied in detail the intricacies of the Russians stay in the city, revealing also the damage caused by the war to the cultural and historical heritage of the region. This article provides a brief analysis of selected Turkish studies dedicated to the 100th and 105th anniversary of the Trebizond operation. It also discusses the issue of war refugees and the activities of Russian scientists, who were engaged in the collection of historical monuments in Trebizond during the war.

The fairly-well preserved ruins of the royal cities of the ancient kingdom of Koguryo, together with imperial tombs and nobles’ tombs all bear witnesses testifying the existence of a lost civilization. Archaeological findings include the remains of three cities used as capitals where 14 mausoleums of kings of different dynasties and 26 tombs of the royal family members stand to this day. With the exception of the Wunu Mountain city lying outside Ji'an in nearby Huanren County, the other two cities, Wandu mountain city and Guonei city, together with all the mausoleums and tombs are all located within Ji'an City, Jilin Province. The present paper attempts to carry on a comprehensive yet profound analysis on the development strategies as an overall tourism program in order to display the great advantages and potentials to turn the site into a tourist attraction while attaching great importance to a detailed analysis of the disadvantages including a warning of treat facing the historical relics worthy of the name of a world cultural heritage site. A city or region can not escape the rapid development from time to time. This development certainly begins with the planning that is well-prepared in all aspects that want to be developed in the city, where one of them is a cultural heritage. Planning or plans that are formed of course will directly or indirectly affect the entire related aspects, so it is very important to support historical buildings or other cultural heritage. Therefore, it suggests the concept of the open museum as a tool or a way to maintain and protect cultural heritage, which can then also help develop culture and heritage tourism in a particular city or region. In this discussion, it was also stated that the open museum is an effective tool to maintain urban heritage, maintain history and culture, and encourage sustainable tourism. There are two case studies that will be discussed in this paper, which are case studies from related journals, which are about the City of Mecca, which with the existence of urban development projects is feared to endanger the historical locations in the city. The planning solution which was then developed was by proposing to make the inner-city area a protected historical location and developing it as an open museum with the aim of giving consideration or recommendations for the maintenance and protection of the historical location of Mecca, and forming a sustainable tourism industry taking into account the existence of Hajj activities and Umrah business. The discussion of this paper will also be complemented by a reflection of the open museum concept in the Indonesian context, which focuses on the Prambanan Temple Complex as one of the applications of the open museum concept that can be used as a way to realize sustainable cultural heritage in urban areas.

Tourism development affects prominent city centres worldwide, causing social unrest that has been labelled “tourism-phobia.” This article problematizes the recent appearance of this term by unravelling the links between the materiality of contemporary urban tourism and the response it receives from social movements opposing its expansion. We endeavour to understand the meaning that different actors involved in the city's touristification attach to this term, and in particular the perceptions of citizens’ movements that claim to espouse not tourism-phobia but urban-philia. To analyze these dynamics, we draw on Lefebvre’s discussion of the “right to the city” to highlight the extractive productive relations characterizing the tourism industry and the contestations such relations trigger. Taking the example of two Spanish cities (Barcelona and Palma), our findings indicate that the social malaise found in tourist oversaturation is due to the disruption it causes to everyday life, including price increases and rising rents. Consequently, the discomfort popular mobilisations have generated among the ruling class has led the latter to disqualify and even criminalise the former’s legitimate claims under the label of tourism-phobia. To conclude, we call for a future research agenda in pursuit of social justice and equity around re-touristification, de-touristification or even tourist degrowth.

In modern conditions an important activity in the tourism industry of the Russian Federation is studing tourism markets for domestic tourism, attracting tourist flows in the small towns Russia through the development of new original sightseeing tours and tourist routes, the creation and development of innovative tourism infrastructure. According to the concept of the modern suburbs, great attention is paid to the development of priority points to attract tourists and tourist resources of the most important destinations in the region. In Moscow suburbs, there is a tourist route "Gubernskoe ring Moscow region" and twelve "points of attraction" for tourists – "The 12 pearls Moscow region." In accordance with the existing tourist resources Kolomna is related to the "South" zone of Moscow region with specialization: cultural, educational, pilgrim, scientific, educational, business and event tourism. Kolomna is one of the oldest cities in the Moscow region, which is included in "Gubernskoe ring Moscow region" and "The 12 pearls suburbs." Tourism products offered by travel companies in Kolomna, are very diverse: from a stationary rest with a rich excursion program to the programs presented by hunting and fishing tours, hiking trails, extreme and ecological tours with resting in picturesque places. Kolomna has a considerable potential and resources to enhance its attractiveness to tourists, primarily it is a large number of historical monuments. However, to use them in full the necessary measures is to improve the organization of tourist businesses in the city. To this end, should be developed programs of creating urban tourism clusters; and tourism organizations should study the demand and offer new themed tours and excursions, especially given the historical part of the city and the possibilities of its transport infrastructure (particularly water ways).
