In modern conditions an important activity in the tourism industry of the Russian Federation is studing tourism markets for domestic tourism, attracting tourist flows in the small towns Russia through the development of new original sightseeing tours and tourist routes, the creation and development of innovative tourism infrastructure. According to the concept of the modern suburbs, great attention is paid to the development of priority points to attract tourists and tourist resources of the most important destinations in the region. In Moscow suburbs, there is a tourist route "Gubernskoe ring Moscow region" and twelve "points of attraction" for tourists – "The 12 pearls Moscow region." In accordance with the existing tourist resources Kolomna is related to the "South" zone of Moscow region with specialization: cultural, educational, pilgrim, scientific, educational, business and event tourism. Kolomna is one of the oldest cities in the Moscow region, which is included in "Gubernskoe ring Moscow region" and "The 12 pearls suburbs." Tourism products offered by travel companies in Kolomna, are very diverse: from a stationary rest with a rich excursion program to the programs presented by hunting and fishing tours, hiking trails, extreme and ecological tours with resting in picturesque places. Kolomna has a considerable potential and resources to enhance its attractiveness to tourists, primarily it is a large number of historical monuments. However, to use them in full the necessary measures is to improve the organization of tourist businesses in the city. To this end, should be developed programs of creating urban tourism clusters; and tourism organizations should study the demand and offer new themed tours and excursions, especially given the historical part of the city and the possibilities of its transport infrastructure (particularly water ways).

The tourist potential’s attractiveness of the region is the degree of attractiveness of the natural, ethnocultural, socio-historical and other tourist resources of the region, its socio-economic and transport infrastructure, reception places and attendants. The wealth of anthropogenic tourism resources of the Carpathian region leads to a high attraction of the social segment of the tourist potential of the Carpathian region. All regional centres, a lot of small towns and villages, which have survived, the samples of Old Ukrainian church wooden architecture, castles, religious buildings, defensive structures, old residential and economic buildings of the region have a high attraction. The attractiveness is also ensured by the presence of numerous parks, cafes, restaurants, theatres, museums, cultural and lifestyle habits of local residents, including Hutsuls and Boyks. Along with this, a combination of natural and social tourism resources created in the Carpathian region favourable conditions for the development of all kinds of ethnic and event tourism, rural green tourism. The peculiarity of the proposed approach is to assess the conditions and factors of the tourism potential of the region in an objective and subjective way. Each of these characteristics is described by relevant factor criteria and may be defined by specific quantitative and / or qualitative indicators. With the help of the constructed indicators’ system of tourism potential attraction estimation, we are able to quantitatively and qualitatively estimate the level of tourism industry development in the Ukrainian regions; to highlight the causal relationships in determining the level of tourist potential’s attractiveness; to identify the factors that influence the development of tourism activity, in that destabilizing; to carry out monitoring of tourism activity in the region with the possibility of predicting changes in tourist activity taking on its basis optimal managerial decisions at the state and regional levels. The article highlights the geopolitical aspects of the international tourism development in Ukraine as a global phenomenon that carries out economic, social and international and political action. In today's world, tourism has become a powerful industry, a huge complex in which the economic and social spheres are connected. The importance of tourism in international economic activity is constantly growing, and the market itself is acquiring new trends and features, affecting trade, transport and communications, agriculture and construction. The processes of globalization in the tourism market are characterized by changes in technology, modernization of transport infrastructure, internationalization of business activity and the creation of a regulatory mechanism. The potential of world tourist flows as factors of geopolitical influence is revealed, the structure of which reflects and influences the tendencies of international interaction. The main geopolitical factors influencing the dynamics and spatial organization of international tourist flows are structured. The world market of tourist services has a clear segmentation character. The main criteria for segmentation are motivational, age and regional ones. The general tendencies of development of the international tourism, a role and a place of Ukraine in the international tourist market are characterized. It is predicted that China will become the most popular tourist country in the near future. It is determined that due to the growth of intercontinental ties, which is based on the rapid development of vehicles and, above all, jet aircraft, as well as the desire of a significant number of people to visit the most remote and exotic corners of the Earth, tourism exchange between regions will develop more intensively than within regions. However, there is a growing tendency to increase the exchange of tourists between neighboring countries under conditions of normal relations between them and between countries with related languages. The main world events that have affected tourist flows in recent years are listed: Brexit, COVID-19, military actions in Eastern Ukraine and others. The analysis of international tourist flows in Ukraine was done, in particular their dynamics and spatial structure during 2010-2019 in the context of military-political aggression by Russia and the aggravation of Ukrainian-Russian interstate relations. It is established that the current dynamics of the international tourist flow in Ukraine is characterized by a sharp decrease in international visitors, slowing down the development of tourism and reformatting the spatial structure of the incoming and outgoing tourist flow. It is also noted that among the main factors hindering the development of the Ukrainian tourism industry are the unsatisfactory state of development of infrastructure and logistics of tourism, high prices, environmental and criminal risks, low innovation activity of tourism enterprises. It is concluded that international tourism is not only a passive participant in international relations, but also an active political actor who is able to act as a channel for establishing international trust and cooperation, a factor in maintaining political stability.

The article describes the construction of a unique bridge crossing in Dubna, Moscow Region. Design work started at the beginning of the 2000s. Several options were suggested, clients and design companies changed several times. In 2016, the construction of the bridge crossing over the Volga started. “Institute Giprostroymost” JSC was chosen as a general designer. A range of engineering surveying was carried out and work paper was worked out by the company. The location of the city on the banks of the Volga determined a sustained transport problem. The shortest crossing of the right and left banks was provided by Ivankovskaya hydropower plant. Actual traffic capacity of the crossing was not enough, and this led to regular traffic congestion. The nearest bridge was situated at the distance of 30 km, in the town of Kimry in the Tverskaya Region. The transport infrastructure situation hampered the development of the “Dubna” special economic zone of technology and innovation type which includes an innovation territorial cluster of nuclear-physical and nanotechnologies as well as the city of Dubna itself. Transport accessibility to the Federal Data Processing Centre of the Federal Tax Service of Russia was also limited. The bridge crossing has 4 lanes and consists of motor road approaches and a highway bridge. Shipping length of the bridge with approaches is 1939,93 m. Shipping length together with the length of the ramps is 2997,99 m. Total length of the bridge crossing accounts for 1 166,25 m. Central navigation span is 168,0 m. The construction of the bridge crossing was carried out within the minimum time limit. 24 months after the erection of the bridge started, in November 2018, the bridge was put into operation.
