<p><em>Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia as an educational institution of its existence is enough very old. Along the way, many changes occur, both positive and negative. But the development of the boarding school in the archipelago as the oldest educational institution does not have a significant correlation with the strength or menejemennya progress. Boarding schools have ups and downs, from the colonial period, independence, until the time of the current reform. Kyai as a helm, multifunctional duties, as a teacher, preacher, and managers. As a manager it must improve the quality mutu.Tuntutan better than any cleric become a requirement for boarding institutions. Quality in the sense of the word, they can work with professionals, in accordance with the functions and responsibilities. So also for the leadership of the boarding school can work in a professional manner to meet the needs of the professionalism of teachers, good service, education, health, facilities, and no less important is the economic aspect or the necessities of life of current and future</em><em>.</em></p><p><em>Keywords: Quality management, ustadz, pesantren</em></p>

Islamic boarding school is the oldest educational institution by the nation that participated in creating literate society. In the midst of this globalization era, Islamic boarding schools maintain both classical and modern education and teaching systems. In educational institutions need to pay attention to the quality management of education in order to improve and develop educational institutions for the future. The reality that we get in guaranteeing the quality of education in Islamic boarding schools is that there are many obstacles that must be resolved. With this the author intends to examine several management systems or quality management based on Islamic boarding schools. This study used qualitative research methods. This research is specifically directed towards descriptive qualitative research design. Trying to solve the problem based on the data concerned with the concept of quality management based on Islamic boarding school. The concept that has been prepared in the management of education quality in Islamic boarding schools is oriented to improving the quality of education by referring to the values ​​of Islamic boarding schools / Islamic society that have been entrenched among Indonesian people, by using tools, techniques and philosophies to create quality education in order to achieve educational goals.

This study aims to provide an overview of the process of cultural change through total quality management in Islamic perspective carried out at Daar El Manshur Islamic Boarding School. The method of the study is qualitative method by using in-depth interview techniques with informants. This research was conducted at the Daar El Manshur Islamic Boarding School, Depok City, West Java. Data analysis was carried out using content analysis with the stages of reducing data, triangulating data, presenting data descriptively, and drawing conclusions/verification. The results showed that cultural change through total quality management at Daar El Manshur Islamic Boarding School was seen from 7 focuses. The focus of planning for Islamic boarding schools is still focused on current conditions. The focus of the organization is participatory by involving all individuals to improve the quality of education and to develop Islamic boarding schools. The focus of control is still in the form of monitoring and supervising each section based on the existing SOP. The focus of communication has been two-way communication. The focus of the decision is still reactive and not based on well planning even though decisions are made based on deliberation and consensus. The focus of functional management has not been fully integrated. The focus of quality management is still reactive because it is still in the stage of finding the best and most suitable method to be applied in Islamic boarding schools. Therefore, the process of cultural change at Daar El Manshur Islamic Boarding School has begun to occur.

The development plan of the Islamic Boarding School in the middle of the times it is not impossible to do. As the oldest educational institutions in Indonesia, Islamic Boarding School is an educational institution that is civilized. The development of Islamic boarding school can be done through two aspects; boarding school as an educational unit and boarding school as a place of education units. Islamic Boarding School as an educational unit in the form of Muaddalah Islamic Boarding School while boarding school as a place of education unit is a main unit of doing other educational institutions. Development of the Islamic Boarding School can also be developed through the role of Islamic Boarding Schools that do not merely act as an educational institution, but also serves as a social institutions and economic institutions of society.

The main problem in this research is how the quality management developed at the madrasa diniyah is boarded in the muhammdiyah lamongan pesantren. In accordance with these problems, the objectives of this study are (1) how is the quality planning (2) how is the quality program implemented (3) How is quality monitoring and evaluation (4) how is the quality improvement action carried out by boarding muhammadyah lamongan boarding school. The research method uses qualitative methods, with the reason that the questions are open so that researchers can be flexible and can develop questions, because researchers want to describe and analyze the implementation of quality management in Islamic boarding schools in Muhammadiyah dilamongan, Madrasah diniyah Islamic boarding schools in Muhammadiyah Lamongan, the results of the study show that there are several diniyah muhammdiyah Islamic boarding school program in lamongan has developed quality management starting from planning, implementation of monitoring and evaluation as well as follow-up of quality improvement which is very synergic between madrasa and Islamic boarding school so that the existence of madrasa diniyah and pondok pesantren continues to develop. Recommendations, this study recommends that madrash diniyah and lamuh muhammadyah Islamic boarding schools should continue to be quality teamwork in improving quality with structured roles and responsibilities, and become models that can be used as alternative concepts for quality management of madrasa diniyah. Islamic boarding school (Pondok Pesantren) is the oldest educational institution in Indonesia. It is an authentic Indonesian cultural heritage. The advancement of science and technology has influenced the Islamic boarding schools paradigm. On the other hand, the Islamic boarding school must be consistent in maintaining its cultural characteristics. There are four types of Islamic boarding schools in Lampung Province: pure Salafiyah, Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah, formal Diniyah education, and Takhassus. This study aims to determine the character-oriented human resource management of Islamic boarding schools in Lampung Province. This study employed the qualitative approach, which utilized interviews, observations, and documents to collect the data. The findings of this study are 1) the Islamic boarding schools human resource management planning includes needs analysis, recruitment, selection, and placement. 2) the implementation of Islamic boarding schools human resource management includes education through routine recitation, routine coaching, workshops, training, seminars, comparative studies, tawajjuhan thariqoh, night prayer (qiyamul lail), five daily prayers, routine dzikir, and tahsin and tahfidz Al Quran. 2) The human resource management Evaluation of Islamic boarding schools is carried out once a month, every two months, once every three months, at the end of the semester, at the end of the school year, and even at any time. The planning, implementing, and evaluating character excellence are done through 1) moral character, which includes trustworthiness, honesty, responsibility, sincerity, courtesy, qanaah, loyalty, and militancy. 2) Performance characters must include competence, discipline, punctuality, respect for time, collaboration, hard work, and thoroughness.

Islamic boarding schools are known to be able to give birth to the Qur'an's tahfidz. With the memorization program, the halaqah about the basic text of the religion makes the Islamic boarding schools increasingly known to the community as an educational institution and a strong milestone of religious knowledge that can bring blessings. The purpose of this study was to predict the level of rote learning of the students at the Tahfiz Lan Tabur Pagaralam Islamic Boarding School. Thus, it is easier for Islamic boarding schools to take strategies to improve the quality of students themselves. The data processed in this study are data sourced from the Natural Boarding School of Tahfiz Al-Qur’an Lan Tabur Pagaralam. Based on the number of students who memorized the Al-Qur'an or Tahfidz in the 2017 to 2019 class which is processed by Monte Carlo algorithm simulation. The processing step is to bring up a random number from the sampling data that has been taken. The results of testing on this method found that the system used to predict the level of memorization of the Al-Qur'an with an average accuracy of 84% in 2018 and an average accuracy of 88% in 2019. With a high degree of accuracy, simulations performed using the Monte Carlo algorithm can predict the number of students memorized by the Qur'an, making it easier for Islamic boarding schools to obtain information about the likelihood of future events at the level of memorization of students at Islamic boarding schools Alam Tahfiz Al-Qur’an Lan Tabur Pagaralam.

INTISARIPondok Pesantren Imam Bukhari Surakarta merupakan lembaga pendidikan berbasis agama Islam yang menerapkan pendidikan dengan sistem boarding school, dengan jumlah siswa mencapai 2500 siswa aktif. Dalam pengelolaannya saat ini pondok pesantren telah menerapkan penggunaan sistem informasi dalam kegiatan di lembaga pendidikannya, namun dalam penggunaan sistem informasinya belum dilakukan evaluasi layanan dan kualitas website. Oleh karena itu maka sangat diperlukan sebuah evaluasi layanan dan kualitas website untuk pengembangan dan penggunaan sistem informasi yang menjadikan pondok pesantren memiliki sistem informasi yang dapat diandalkan. Tujuan penelitian yaitu melakukan evaluasi layanan dan kualitas website sistem informasi pondok pesantren Imam Bukhari menggunakan metode WebQual 4.0 yang melakukan evaluasi pada variabel independen. Yaitu 3 area meliputi usability, information quality, dan service interaction quality. Hasil dari penelitian adalah rekomendasi berupa hipotesis dan rekomendasi tentang kepuasan pengguna yang merupakan variabel dependen dari penilaian pada standar nilai area variabel independent dan ukuran kualitas website sistem informasi yang diimplementasikan di Pondok Pesantren Imam Bukhari. Kata kunci— evaluasi layanan, kualitas website, sistem informasi, webqual 4,0  ABSTRACTImam Bukhari Islamic Boarding School Surakarta is an Islamic religious-based educational institution that implements boarding school education, with a total of 2500 active students. In its current management, Islamic boarding schools have implemented the use of information systems in activities at their educational institutions, but in the use of information systems there has not been an evaluation of the service and quality of the website. Therefore, it is very necessary to evaluate the service and quality of the website for the development and use of information systems that make Islamic boarding schools have reliable information systems. The research objective is to evaluate the service and quality of the Imam Bukhari Islamic boarding school information system website using the WebQual 4.0 method which evaluates the independent variables. Namely 3 areas include usability, information quality, and service interaction quality. The results of the study are recommendations in the form of hypotheses and recommendations about user satisfaction which is the dependent variable of the assessment on the standard value of the independent variable area and the size of the quality of the information system website implemented at the Imam Bukhari Islamic Boarding School. Kata kunci—  Service evaluation, website quality, information system, webqual 4,0.

Islamic boarding schools as a means of regeneration in the development of da'wah. Islamic boarding school is an educational institution that transforms the value of education and example every second and minute and every time from a kyai to his students. Researchers are interested in choosing this topic because no one has conducted research with the same title. It is hoped that the benefits of the research will be of assistance to the pesantren pindok caregivers as well as for prospective da'i who wish to further deepen various dakwah sciences. The reason other researchers are not interested in this title is that they consider Islamic boarding schools as a means of regeneration in the development of da'wah to be ineffective and not optimal. Apart from this research, the writer tries to find a formula for what is done by the Islamic boarding schools to regenerate candidates and those who have become da'i, forged to become qualified da'i. This research was conducted using field research (field research) and qualitative analysis. Therefore, the data collected in this study is in the form of information in the form of descriptions. Qualitative analysis is considered more appropriate in this study, because this analysis is expected to make it more possible to develop this research in order to gain a deeper understanding. Research findings of Islamic boarding schools have a function as a da'wah institution, have elements and systems that are ideal in producing da'i cadres who have broad knowledge and character. Conclusion of the study, Islamic boarding school as a means of regeneration that prepares the next generation of Islam, through the provision of knowledge (leadership, management and insight) in stages and careful planning. The implication of this research is that the cadre model in the development of da'wah in Islamic boarding schools which is deliberately designed in such a way, it is certain that the da'i cadres can develop the knowledge they have and are ready to preach Islamic values ​​wherever they are.

Islamic Boarding School is a traditional educational institution, teaches various things about Islam, in contrast to Islamic boarding schools in general, the Islamic Boarding School for Muslims is specifically intended for Converts, namely for people who have recently joined Islam. Islamic Boarding School guides Converts in learning everything about Islam, namely in the field of guidance and education in the form of the Aqeedah, akhlaq, tauhid, reading the Qur'an, Fiqh, Tafsir and Arabic. The design is intended so that Converts feel the presence of brothers and sisters who can help strengthen their Islamic beliefs and boarding schools as a place or home for them so they can feel a peaceful Islam. Pekanbaru Islamic Boarding School can be a national and international Islamic educational institution and an attraction of the city of Pekanbaru, known as the city of Madani in Islam and in harmony with the Malay culture that is characterized by a strong Islamic. Comfort in learning for converts is very important to be able to focus on studying Islamic religion. The design of Islamic boarding schools uses qualitative research methods to obtain primary and secondary data, literature studies, empirical studies and interviews related to the concept of Islamic Architecture approach in Islamic Boarding Schools. The application of Islamic boarding school design conceptualizing the Islamic Architecture approach to the application on the outside and inside the building in the form of ornaments that reminds Allah SWT, setting the space to maintain akhlaq and make it easier of students activity.

Islamic boarding schools (Pesantren) are an Islamic educational institution that has been established for a long time before Indonesia's independence, the existence of pesantren has been tested despite the conditions that are often not impartial. This simple paper aims to examine the early history of the emergence of pesantren to date with a focus on the forms. The hermeneutical approach of Hans Georg Gadamer's "Fusion of Horizons" theory is used to analyze more about the pesantren from its ince ption until present . The result of this study is that pesantren were initially established because of a cleric and santri who were interacting in learning, to be able to make it Islamic boarding school ( huts , dormitories , surau, dayah, rangkang, and meruasa). As the santri rise, the kyai lifts the teacher (ustadz) to help him. Then the pesantren self-characterized in accordance with the results of understanding and interpretation of the kyai adapted to the context, so that now ap pears the pesantren Qur'an, pesantren salaf and modern pesantren. The alternative researcher " a contemporary boarding school " that is not only based on salaf, Qur'an, Science and Technology, but also makes santri the solution provider towards every pattern of life.
