Islamic Boarding School is a traditional educational institution, teaches various things about Islam, in contrast to Islamic boarding schools in general, the Islamic Boarding School for Muslims is specifically intended for Converts, namely for people who have recently joined Islam. Islamic Boarding School guides Converts in learning everything about Islam, namely in the field of guidance and education in the form of the Aqeedah, akhlaq, tauhid, reading the Qur'an, Fiqh, Tafsir and Arabic. The design is intended so that Converts feel the presence of brothers and sisters who can help strengthen their Islamic beliefs and boarding schools as a place or home for them so they can feel a peaceful Islam. Pekanbaru Islamic Boarding School can be a national and international Islamic educational institution and an attraction of the city of Pekanbaru, known as the city of Madani in Islam and in harmony with the Malay culture that is characterized by a strong Islamic. Comfort in learning for converts is very important to be able to focus on studying Islamic religion. The design of Islamic boarding schools uses qualitative research methods to obtain primary and secondary data, literature studies, empirical studies and interviews related to the concept of Islamic Architecture approach in Islamic Boarding Schools. The application of Islamic boarding school design conceptualizing the Islamic Architecture approach to the application on the outside and inside the building in the form of ornaments that reminds Allah SWT, setting the space to maintain akhlaq and make it easier of students activity.

Islamic boarding school is the oldest educational institution by the nation that participated in creating literate society. In the midst of this globalization era, Islamic boarding schools maintain both classical and modern education and teaching systems. In educational institutions need to pay attention to the quality management of education in order to improve and develop educational institutions for the future. The reality that we get in guaranteeing the quality of education in Islamic boarding schools is that there are many obstacles that must be resolved. With this the author intends to examine several management systems or quality management based on Islamic boarding schools. This study used qualitative research methods. This research is specifically directed towards descriptive qualitative research design. Trying to solve the problem based on the data concerned with the concept of quality management based on Islamic boarding school. The concept that has been prepared in the management of education quality in Islamic boarding schools is oriented to improving the quality of education by referring to the values ​​of Islamic boarding schools / Islamic society that have been entrenched among Indonesian people, by using tools, techniques and philosophies to create quality education in order to achieve educational goals.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi kebugaran jasmani siswa pendidikan pondok pesantren di Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian desktiptif kualitatif. Dalam melakukan penelitian ini terdapat 10 populasi pondok pesantren di Kota Bengkulu, Lalu diambil 5 sebagai sampel yaitu:Pondok Pesantren Al Mubaarak, Pondok Pesantren Harsalakum, Pondok Pesantren Pancasila, Pondok Pesantren Darussalam dan Pondok Pesantren Hidayatullah dengan jumlah subjek 128 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data yaitu teknik tabulasi frekuensi. Hasil Penelitian membuktikan bahwa pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani mempengaruhi kondisi kebugaran jasmani. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa kondisi kebugaran jasmani siswa Pondok pesantren dengan hasil tes lari 2400 meter dalam bentuk presentase sebagai berikut: Siswa dengan kebugaran jasmani baik sekali 0 %, siswa dengan kebugaran jasmani baik 23 orang atau 17,96 %, siswa dengan kebugaran jasmani sedang 73 orang atau 57,03%, siswa dengan kebugaran jasmani yang kurang 28 orang atau 21,87 % dan Siswa dengan Kebugaran jasmani yang sangat kurang yaitu 4 orang atau 03,14%. Jadi berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa kondisi kebugaran jasmani berdasarkan jenis kelamin siswa Pendidikan Pondok Pesantren di Kota Bengkulu yaitu untuk kelompok laki-laki 11,27 menit yaitu sedang, untuk kelompok perempuan waktu rata-rata 15,02 yaitu Sedang.Kata kunci : Kebugaran, Siswa-Siswi Pondok Pesantren, Kota BengkuluABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the condition of physical fitness of students educational boarding school in the city of Bengkulu. The purpose of this study is to describe the decision making and implementation of the uzlah and gerbat techniques by the Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School from Sukorejo Situbondo as an educational institution supported by 12,247 boarding students, for preventing Covid-19 transmission. This was a qualitative research using ethnography and hermeneutics data analysis. The outcome was to consider the decision to apply the uzlah and gerbat techniques, because both techniques are historical, theological, and follow the government's recommendations in deciding the distribution of Covid-19. While the implementation, among others: 1) uzlah technique: students are expelled from the Islamic boarding school complex and activated by outsiders. 2) gerbat technique, namely the reading of prayers to avoid a plague. In approving the transmission of Covid-19, Islamic boarding schools balance the technique of uzlah and gerbat, harmonize the lahiriyah (visible) and batiniyah (invisible) approaches.

Abstract The world of pesantren is an educational learning environment that effectively shapes the thinking and mentality of students effectively. Complete physical facilities such as buildings, learning environments, playgrounds or curricula and educational resources (asaatidz) that accompany 24 hours for the students intensively. The students are also protected from the temptation of contemporary social media which tends to have a negative impact during the education process on Pesantren, especially at an early age. The Madinatul Quran Islamic boarding school, which is located in Pecangaan, the South coast area in coastal Java, is interesting to be studied because the integration of this educational institution is the provision of Tahfidz Alquran for small children who are also study at formal education, Islamic primary school or state or primate primary school. This study applied the perspective of management of Islamic boarding schools by using qualitative approach. Some informants as primary data sources were the founders and administrators of Islamic boarding schools. The data was collected through in-depth interview observation methods and observations at the pesantren. Another method is the collection of documentation as a secondary data source in this Madinatul Quran Islamic boarding school. From various analyzes of the data in this study, it is found that the application of innovative methods from the teachers in the pattern of memorizing the Quran for primary school children. The two patterns of management of pesantren which are managed professionally and supported by various parties, especially on the pesantren facilities and the appreciation for human resources, the achievements of the students at the Madinatul Quran Pati Selatan pesantren.

The study aims to analyze the meaning of debt according to the people of Kampung Kauman who prefer moneylenders than banks as their source of credit. This qualitative research uses a case study. Primary data were obtained through interviews with residents of Kampung Kauman, Pasrepan Village, Pasuruan Regency, East Java, which is located in an Islamic boarding school environment with a religious type of community. Secondary data in the form of details of the credit system to moneylenders. The sample used is saturated, i.e. all those who are credit members to loan sharks. Total informants numbered 21 of 30 households in Kauman Village. The results of this study indicate that the meaning of credit to loan sharks for the community in the study site environment is venture capital, a friendly place of association, mutual relief among credit members, and regarding usury laws on credit.

This study aims to analyze the increasing potential for poverty in the city of Palangka Raya from the perspective of SMIs due to the impact of the 19th COVID pandemic. The data was obtained based on the results of in-depth interviews from February to April 2020 with 10 SMIs and supported from secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency. The data is processed based on qualitative research principles based on the type of case study research. In the results of this study it was found that the SMIs experienced a very detrimental impact in terms of sales and marketing of products so that employees who come to work are terminated indefinitely, in this connection it appears that there is potential increases in poverty that can occur in the future come.

The development plan of the Islamic Boarding School in the middle of the times it is not impossible to do. As the oldest educational institutions in Indonesia, Islamic Boarding School is an educational institution that is civilized. The development of Islamic boarding school can be done through two aspects; boarding school as an educational unit and boarding school as a place of education units. Islamic Boarding School as an educational unit in the form of Muaddalah Islamic Boarding School while boarding school as a place of education unit is a main unit of doing other educational institutions. Development of the Islamic Boarding School can also be developed through the role of Islamic Boarding Schools that do not merely act as an educational institution, but also serves as a social institutions and economic institutions of society.

The incidence of Acute Respiratory Infections (ISPA) at the Amanatul Ummah Surabaya Islamic Boarding School is the biggest disease experienced by santri. This study aims to analyze the relationship between ventilation with the incidence of ISPA in students at the Amanatul Ummah Surabaya Islamic Boarding School. Cross sectional and Stratified Random Sampling consist of of 91 male and 116 female students were used in this study.data was obtained through extensive ventilation field observations. Secondary data was obtained from the medical record books of the students to obtain information on the history of the incidence of ISPA experienced by respondents over the past 1 year. The data analysis by chi-square test (α=0.05). The results showed that most (73.9%) respondents had ventilation conditions that did not meet the requirements and most (54.1%) sufferred from ISPA. The results showed a significant correlation between the ventilation condition and the incidence of ISPA (p=0.001). The more ventilation does not meet the requirements, the more likely the respondents were to suffer from ISPA. It was recommended that the islamic boarding schools evaluate the construction of the islamic boarding schools, especially related to the ventilation hole area of the students rooms to fit the applicable health requirements.

As the world is entering society 5.0 era, pesantren must be aware of its challenges to maintain its existence as the oldest educational institution. This study aims to determine the challenges faced by Islamic boarding schools in the era of community revolution 5.0. This research is preliminary qualitative research to analyze various literature on Islamic boarding schools’ crucial issues in society 5.0 era. The data obtained in the study were collected through documentation techniques which were then tested using source triangulation techniques. The data analysis was through three stages, namely data reduction, data display and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that Islamic boarding schools in the 5.0 era must face contemporary challenges that are in line with the development of science and technology, namely having the ability for morals implanting, technology-based pesantren systems, digital literacy and digital ethics. If this ability can be realized and developed, the pesantren’s existence can be maintained and accepted by the community 5.0.
