FEATURES OF GEOLOGICAL STUDY AND DEVELOPMENT OF ACCUMULATIONS WITH HARD-TO-RECOVER RESERVES IN THE PRE-JURASSIC PLAY OF WEST SIBERIA IN RELATION TO THE EXPERIENCE OF GEOLOGICAL-ECONOMIC APPRAISAL

Within the West Siberian petroleum basin, more than 60 oil and gas fields have been discovered in the pre-Jurassic basement formations. Reserves of these fields are referred to hard-to-recover ones due to both the complexity of the geological structure and the need to apply non-standard approaches at all stages of their search, exploration and development. Development of the Pre-Jurassic complex is one of the main directions in replenishing the raw material base of hydrocarbons in West Siberia, where production from traditional fields is steadily declining. The article summarizes the data on geological features and petroleum potential of the Pre-Jurassic complex of the West Siberian basin. Based on the analysis of results of exploration and development of accumulations, proposals on various geological and technological parameters are formulated when performing the geological and economic appraisal of promising targets with similar predicted characteristics.

Currently, under the conditions of increasing depletion of hydrocarbon reserves in Russia, it is necessary to consider the resource potential of poorly-researched oil and gas objects as a factor for ensuring the sustainable development of the oil and gas complex, in the context of the concept formation of rational subsoil utilization and a circular economy. The methodology of this study is based on a clear sequence of geological and economic studies of poorly-researched oil and gas objects, including four stages, such as analysis of the raw material base, assessment of the raw material potential, determination of technological development parameters, and economic evaluation. The methods of the probabilistic estimation of oil resources of the forecasted objects with regard to geological risk are outlined. Software packages “EVA—Risk Analysis” and “EVA—Economic Evaluation of Oil and Gas Field Development Projects” were used for estimation. The result of the study is the determination of the geological and economic efficiency of the development of nine hydrocarbon objects with the determination of the order of their further geological exploration, and introduction into industrial development on the example of the poorly-researched region of the Timan-Pechora oil and gas province located in the Arctic zone.

The surface of the folded base of the platforms is an important geological boundary separating rock complexes formed in different geodynamic settings and characterized by different physical properties, which largely determine the patterns of formation of minerals in them. Therefore, determining the depth of its occurrence and morphology is not only theoretical, but also practical. Despite many years of studying the foundation of the west of the Turan Platform, there is no unity among geologists and geophysicists in their ideas about its structure, depth of occurrence and surface structure. In this regard, the aim of the work is to build a structural map of the surface of the foundation of the west of the Turan plate, to identify the main tectonic structures and their morphology. The construction is based on a comprehensive analysis of drilling materials and geophysical data. When drawing up the structural map, all the currently available geological and geophysical material was used, including data from drilling, gravity and magnetic surveys, and seismic surveys of various modifications, which made it possible to perform fairly detailed and reliable constructions. The article provides a detailed description of the surface structure of the folded base of the west Turan platform. The obtained results can be used in solving the issues of oil and gas potential of the studied territory. The folded base of the western Turan plate is a heterogeneous and heterochronous formation, differentiated by the depth of occurrence, which allows for morphostructural zoning of its surface.

The article considers a comprehensive analysis of the oil and gas complex of the regions of Eastern Siberia and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The features of the structure of the raw material base were revealed – a low degree of exploration and the rate of reproduction of stocks, imbalance in categories of stocks. The state of oil production in the region with differentiation by field is presented, the current state and prospects of expansion of the ESPO pipeline are analyzed.

The work is devoted to the development of geochemical criteria for determining the nature of saturation for deep-adsorbed gases in the core. As the object of investigation used the core material selected in the fields in the Nadym-Pyrskoy oil and gas field. In each sample, 72 components were determined, namely, hydrocarbons of different material groups: normal, branched, polycyclic, and aromatic compounds from butane to dodecane. With respect to the quantitative distribution and correlation among the components, qualitative geochemical indicators of sediment productivity have been developed. The saturation character established by the criteria of deep-adsorbed gases was confirmed by the test results. In this regard, this research method significantly increases the effectiveness of diagnostics of prospective deposits, the application of which is relevant in the territory of the West Siberian oil and gas basin, especially when studying deep-submerged deposits of complex geological structure.

Creation of combined meat products combining traditional consumer properties, as well as the possibility of using non-traditional raw materials in their recipes, is aimed at the expansion and rational use of the raw material base of the meat processing complex and solves the problem of reducing nutrient deficiency in the diet of the population. Therefore, the issue of the use of mechanically deboned poultry meat in meat bread technology and its impact on qualitative indicators and functional and technological properties is relevant. The aim of the research was to study the feasibility of the use of mechanically deboned poultry meat in the technology of combined products. Three model recipes based on the formula-meat analogue “Chainyyi” were developed. The possibility of replacing beef and pork meat with duck meat and mechanically deboned poultry meat of turkey was studied in the bread recipes. The total amount of duck meat and mechanically deboned poultry meat was 63%. As a protein ingredient able to bind moisture and relatively inexpensive compared to meat raw material, 20% of the pig's heart was added to the formulation, as well as 2% XB Fiber. Other components of the analogue formulation have not changed. Combination of duck meat with mechanically deboned poultry meat of turkey and pork hearts in the abovementioned ratios as part of meatcontaining bread stuffing systems allowed to improve the nutritional value of the product and its qualitative indices. The research confirmed the possibility of combining regional and relatively cheap raw materials to increase the nutritional value of meatcontaining products, namely breads. The bulk of proteins in the experimental samples increased by 6.57–10.38% and was within the range of 17.96–17.34%. On average, 4.98% decreased the fat content, the product became less calorie relative to the analogue by 15.98–16.76%. The formulations of model minced meat were distinguished by a higher index of the water-holding capacity, the content of binding moisture and the best indicators of plasticity. This affected the quantity of finished products, which amounted to 120.64–117.3% to the mass of raw materials, while in the control sample this figure was lower by 3.49–7.47%.

The article presents the results of studies of deep wells in VagayIshim depression in the territory of Kurgan region. These wells are characterized by the indications of petroleum potential in them. It means that the southern part of the West Siberian oil and gas province is oil-bearing. Conclusions are drawn that it is possible to detect hydrocarbon deposits in depths in the territory of Kurgan region.

Relevance of the work. The Arctic part of the West Siberian megabasin is the main source of oil and gas in Russia, therefore, the study of the geological structure of this region is extremely important. Recently, Russia has lodged an application to extend its territory in the Arctic Ocean along the ridges that stretch from the continental shelf. Unfortunately, at the same time, we know little about the geological structure of the Arctic in the region of Western Siberia, where the thickness of the sedimentary cover is very high (about 3–4 km), therefore, the study of the basement of the Yamal Peninsula seems to be extremely urgent. The purpose of this work is mineralogical, petrological and geochemical study of dolerites from the pre-Jurassic basement of the Bovanenkovskaya area (well No. 114) within the territory of the gas condensate field of the same name, located in the western part of the Yamal Peninsula. Scope of the work. This work can be useful in constructing geological maps of the pre-Jurassic basement of the Yamal Peninsula. Results and conclusions. We have studied the mineralogical and geochemical features of dolerites from the pre-Jurassic basement of the Bovanenkovskaya area (well No. 114, sampling depth – 3210 m) of the West Siberian megabasin. The mineralogy of the rocks is represented by augite, diopside, albite, magnesian chamosite, ferrous hornblende, calcite, siderite, dolomite, anorthoclase, grossular, zeolite (gmelenite-K), pyrite, chalcopyrite, and rare lead chloride – cotunnite. The rocks underwent minor transformations in the conditions of the lower greenschist metamorphism, as well as secondary alterations in the form of superimposed propylitization. As a result of this low-temperature metasomatic process, zeolite, carbonate (calcite, dolomite, and siderite) and sulfide mineralization composed of pyrite and chalcopyrite, as well as cotunnite, which apparently replaced the dissemination of galena, were formed in the rock. Judging by geological position of the region, these dolerites are most likely formed at shallow depths during continental rifting. Remelting of the Paleozoic island arc substrate during the Early Triassic rifting and volcanism provided some closeness to the island arc trend in the geochemical features of these rift volcanics.

In the recent years, due to the introduction of new Technical Regulations in the Oil and Gas Industry in 2008, high technical and environmental performance values were set to be met by production volume and by the quality of hydrocarbons and a variety of oil products coming from the fields to factory processing and trade parks. The presence of a powerful raw material base, the shortage of petroleum products and the development of market relations create objective conditions for increased use of a variety of natural hydrocarbons, for improved technological schemes of oil preparation and oil processing on the oil fields and for modernizing the equipment used. On small and remote oil fields, which for economic reasons cannot be linked by transport pipelines, a complex system of preparation of liquid hydrocarbons is used with the ultimate goal of obtaining some refined products such as gasoline, diesel fuel and furnace oil.

On the Kara Sea shelf, there are two sedimentary basins separated by the North-Siberian sill. Tectonically the southern part of the Kara Sea covers the South Kara regional depression, which is the northern end of the West Siberian geosyncline. This part of the water area is identified as part of the South Kara oil and gas region, within which the Aptian-Albian-Senomanian sedimentary complex is of greatest interest in terms of gas content, in terms of liquid hydrocarbons - Neocomian and Jurassic deposits. The northern part of the Kara Sea is an independent North Kara province, for the most part of which the prospects of petroleum potential are associated with Paleozoic sedimentary complexes. Oil and gas perspective objects of this basin may be associated with anticlinal, non-structural traps and reef structures.
