Background: Dental and oral diseases are progressive and accumulative diseases that can affect all age groups. Dental caries is the most common dental disease in Indonesia. One of the preventive measures is to apply pit and fissure sealants to teeth with deep pits and fissures. Objective: The purpose of this activity is to help improving the oral health of the community through preventive efforts in the form of pit and fissure sealant applications. Methods: The implementation of this community service activity was conducted through several stages, namely preparation, data collection, problem identification, and implementation of activities. Results: The average caries index of the targeted students was in the high category. There were 5 children who need pit and fissure sealant application. Conclusion: This community service activity had been conducted according to plan. The community, in this case elementary school students, got preventive services in the field of dental health, especially the application of pit and fissure sealants.

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar bahasa Inggris Sekolah Dasar. Kegiatan dilakukan di Sekolah dasar Inpres Karot, Kabupaten Manggarai NTT. Kegiatan dilakukan dalam bentuk praktik dan simulasi bermain games kosa kata berbahasa Inggris. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi melalui obervasi, ditemukan bahwa siswa SDI Karot senang dan antusias mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris dengan menggunakan Vocabulary Games. Ini terlihat pada keaktifan dan partisipasi siswa dalam mengikuti diskusi kelompok dan dalam menjawab setiap pertanyaan yang diajukan pelaksana PKM. Dengan demikian dapat direkomendasikan bahwa penerapan Vocabulary Games hendaknya selalu diimplementasikan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran kepada siswa SD. Konsekuensinya adalah guru mempersiapkan dan merancang media secara sistematis yang dapat menunjang penerapan English Vocabulary Games.Kata Kunci: Bahasa Inggris, Vocabulary Games, Minat, Siswa Sekolah Dasar This community service activity aims to increase interest in learning English in Elementary School. The activity was carried out at the Karot Inpres Elementary School, Manggarai Regency, NTT. Activities carried out in the form of practice and simulation playing English vocabulary games. Based on the results of the evaluation through observation, it was found that SDI Karot students were happy and enthusiastic about participating in English learning activities using Vocabulary Games. This can be seen in the activeness and participation of students in participating in group discussions and in answering every question posed by PKM implementers. Thus, it can be recommended that the implementation of Vocabulary Games should always be implemented in learning activities for elementary school students. The consequence is that teachers prepare and design media systematically that can support the implementation of English Vocabulary Games.Keywords: English, Vocabulary Games, Interest, Elementary School Students

This community service activity aims to improve students’ understanding and skills in calculating especially the basic calculation operations, namely addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Calculating skills for elementary school students is very important as students prepare to understand mathematics material in general or in solving simple problems in everyday life. The target of this activity is elementary school students in grade 2 and grade 3, because when students are in grade 3 elementary school, this numeracy ability must be mastered by students. With the provision of materials using application software, students seem enthusiastic and enthusiastic in participating in the material and practice working on questions. This activity was carried out on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Nogosari 03 SD Rambipuji Elementary School, Jember, attended by 80 students.AbstrakKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa dalam berhitung khususnya terhadap operasi hitung dasar, yaitu penjumlahan, pengurangan, perkalian, dan pembagian. Keterampilan berhitung bagi siswa sekolah dasar sangatlah penting sebagai bekal siswa memahami materi matematika secara umum maupun dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan sederhana dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah siswa sekolah dasar kelas 2 dan kelas 3, sebab saat siswa berada di kelas 3 sekolah dasar, kemampuan berhitung ini harus dikuasai oleh siswa. Dengan pemberian materi menggunakan software aplikasi, siswa tampak antusias dan semangat dalam mengikuti materi maupun latihan mengerjakan soal. Kegiatan ini terlaksana pada hari Kamis, 9 November 2017 bertempat di SD Negeri Nogosari 03 Rambipuji, Jember, diikuti oleh 80 siswa.

Three Stages

Community service activities were carried out in Bamo Village, Kota Komba District, East Manggarai Regency. The purpose of this community service activity was to conduct tutoring assistance activities for elementary school students during the Covid-19 pandemic. Where tutoring activities were carried out by gathering elementary school students in one house. The implementation of independent KKN by Flores University students is carried out in three stages, namely introduction, implementation of activities and results of activities. The implementation of KKN is focused on a special theme, namely Innovation and Elementary Learning Technology. Learning innovation activities are carried out by utilizing technology tools in the form of a laptop. Where the laptop functions to play animated videos. And the results of the activities are documented in the form of videos and photos. The results of this learning innovation activity are where SDK Waepoang students are increasingly interested in participating in tutoring activities.

AbstrakBahasa Inggris merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang wajib dikuasai oleh siswa Sekolah Dasar. Namun siswa mengalami kesulitan berkomunikasi karena kurangnya penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris. Hal ini didukung pula dengan pembelajaran di sekolah yang lebih banyak menggunakan buku teks daripada menggunakan metode pembelajaran lain yang lebih menarik sehingga kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini perlu dilakukan di SD Antonius 2 Semarang. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk melatih siswa sekolah dasar berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Inggris untuk mengembangkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan kosakata dengan penggunaan media ular tangga.. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui pelatihan dengan pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas, yang meliputi tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan refleksi. Dengan penggunaan media ular tangga, siswa SD Antonius 2 Semarang semakin terlatih berbicara bahasa Inggris dan menguasai banyak kosakata bahasa Inggris yang ada di sekitar lingkungan mereka. Kata kunci : kosakata, bahasa Inggris, media, ular tangga  AbstractEnglish is one of the subjects that must be mastered by the Elementary School students. [Bahasa]: Salah satu metode pembelajaran yang cocok digunakan untuk operasi perkalian adalah metode jarimatika. Metode ini diberikan kepada siswa SD di Kefamenanu mengingat berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), Kefamenanu telah memiliki empat perguruan tinggi namun masih banyak siswa yang belum memiliki kemampuan berhitung cepat. Kelebihan metode jarimatika adalah tidak memerlukan alat peraga dan hafalan karena perhitungan dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan jari tangan sehingga diharapkan operasi hitung perkalian dapat lebih mudah dipahami, menyenangkan, dan tidak membebani memori otak siswa. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung siswa sekolah dasar. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SDN Neonbat Kefamenanu, Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) dengan subyek pengabdian seluruh siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 60 orang. Pengabdian dilaksanakan dalam bentuk workshop yang dibagi menjadi 2 hari. Pelaksanaan hari pertama fokus pada review kemampuan dasar siswa yang meliputi perkalian 1-5 dan dilanjutkan dengan perkenalan teknik berhitung cepat dengan jarimatika untuk perkalian 6-10 dan 11-15. Pengabdian dilanjutkan pada hari kedua yaitu review materi pada hari sebelumnya dan penyampaian teknik berhitung cepat untuk kelompok 16-20 yang diakhiri dengan pemberian latihan. Kegiatan pengabdian tidak hanya berhenti pada workshop tetapi dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan terhadap siswa yang dipilih sebanyak 20 orang. Kegiatan pendampingan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata pada pre-testsebesar 55,84 dan pada post test sebesar 75. Kata Kunci: berhitung cepat; metode jarimatika; perkalian; sekolah dasar [English]: One of the appropriate methods to learn multiplication is Jarimatika. It was given to elementary school students in Kefamenanu which, based on data from statistical central agency (BPS), has four colleges but there are still many students who do not have rapid counting skills. The advantage of this method is not requiring learning tools and memorization because calculations are done by utilizing the fingers so that the expected counting operation of multiplication can be more easily understood, enjoyable, and does not overload students’ memory. The purpose of this community service program was to improve the counting skills of elementary school students. It was held at SDN Neonbat Kefamenanu, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) involving 60 5th-grade students. The program was carried out in two-day workshop. The first day focused on the review of students ' basic ability which includes multiplication 1-5 and continued with the introduction of quick counting techniques with Jarimatika for multiplication 6-10 and 11-15. The second day was to review the previous day and introduce the rapid counting technique for multiplication 16-20. This program did not only end with the workshop but also continued with the assistance of 20 selected students. This assistance provided a positive impact on the results students get which can be seen from the increasing average score: 55,84 in the pre-test then increased to 75 in the post-test. Empowering students as elementary school students to become young nurses is an activity that can improve students' knowledge and skills so that they can become movers and supervisors for healthy behavior in the school environment. The method used in this service is the training of young nurses, mentoring, and evaluation. The material presented in the training of young nurses is how to care for wounds, personal hygiene care, how to wash hands with soap properly, how to measure weight and height, how to maintain cleanliness of the school environment, how to recognize signs and symptoms of diarrheal disease, and intestinal worms. It is hoped that through this training students can become movers and supervisors for healthy living behaviors in schools. Young nurses who are trained are expected to be able to do wound care, measure height, measure weight, teach how to wash hands with soap and conduct health education to other students. The results of this community service activity showed that most students had good knowledge, good attitude and good skills after attending training on washing hands with soap. Students' skills on how to treat wounds showed mostly good after attending training on how to treat wounds. Students' skills on how to measure height and weight showed a good overall after attending training on how to measure height and weight.

The purpose of this service activity is to introducing medicine from early age in order to introduce pharmacists and medicine to elementary school students. The lack of knowledge about medicines in the community begins with the provision of knowledge from an early age to elementary school students because they will later become adolescents and reduce drug abuse in the community as frequently happens to high school students or college students. The method of these activities is carried out by means of online learning using several platforms, including: class whatsapp group, google form, and youtube link. Before being given the material, a pretest and posttest was admitted at the beginning and end of the activity. There are two materials provided, first, introducing Pharmacist Profession and education for DaGuSiBu. The participants of this activity were elementary students of grade 4,5 and 6 SDN Losari. In addition, this service is expected to motivate students to have awareness and be able to supervise other classmates for practicing medicines properly.The results was found that the students received education related to the Pharmacist Profession and understood about DaGuSiBu (properly get, use, save, and throw away the medicines) with the results of the average pretest and posttest scores about Pharmacist of 7.08 and 7.23 respectively, meanwhile DaGuSiBu education was 6.20 for pretest and postest 7.18. So it can be concluded that there was increasing points in knowledge after being given education.

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini merupakan Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKMM) yang didanai kemenristekdikti tahun 2018. Khalayak sasaran dari pengabdian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas 5 dan 6 SD Negeri 056035 Kecamatan Besitang. Kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis permainan tradisional di kelas telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 2 juli 2018 hingga 28 juli 2018 yang diikuti oleh 20 peserta siswa/siswi SD. Dari hasil evaluasi diperoleh hasil dan manfaat dari kegiatan pengabdian ini diantaranya adalah membantu pihak SD Negeri 056035 Kecamatan Besitang dalam menumbuhkan minat siswa terhadap pelajaran matematika, membantu siswa untuk tertarik terhadap matematika sehingga dapat menumbuhkan kemampuan matematikanya dan meningkatkan kreatifitas siswa dalam bidang Matematika. Hasil dari pelaksanaan PKM menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran dengan berbasis permainan tradisional berjalan dengan baik dan siswa mampu menggunakan permainan tradisional dalam proses pembelajaran.Kata kunci : Permainan Tradisional, Matematika, Siswa SDThis Community Service is a Community Service Student Creativity Program (PKMM) funded by Kemenristekdikti in 2018. The target audience of this service is the 5th and 6th grade students of 056035 State Elementary School in Besitang District. Traditional game-based learning activities in the classroom have been held on July 2 2018 to July 28 2018 attended by 20 elementary school students. From the results of the evaluation, the results and benefits of this service were obtained, including helping 056035 Public Elementary School in Besitang District to foster students 'interest in mathematics, helping students to be interested in mathematics so that they can develop their mathematical abilities and increase students' creativity in Mathematics. The results of the PKM implementation show that the learning process based on traditional games runs well and students are able to use traditional games in the learning process.Keywords: Traditional Games, Mathematics, Elementary Students

The level of corruption in Indonesia has not decreased significantly even though there have been severe criminal penalties and prevention systems carried out. It is considered that the behavior of corruption is taken root in the mentality of the Indonesian people. Therefore, anti-corruption education needs to be provided early to reduce the possibility of someone to commit corruption when they are adults. The right education method can provide significant results in achieving educational goals to be achieved. The Community Service Team of the Communication Science and Psychology Study Program at Universitas Pembangunan Jaya held an anti-corruption education for elementary school students in collaboration with Sawah Baru Elementary School. The target of this program is elementary school students in grades 3, 4 and 5. In this anti-corruption education, the team used storytelling methods to facilitate and increase understanding in participant's mind. It turns out that this storytelling method has a large impact on the understanding of corruption in the view of elementary school students. In the future, we hope anticorruption education can be held in every school or into the education curriculum.

Measures to prevent dental and oral diseases in children can be done by providing information about parts of the teeth, dental caries and the process of dental caries, as well as plaque control as an effort to prevent the occurrence of dental and oral diseases. This activity was carried out aimed at increasing understanding and knowledge of the importance of maintaining oral health in children, especially elementary school students. The knowledge that has been given is expected to be able to change the behavior of students of SDN Kranjingan III Jember, East Java-Indonesia to be able to maintain the health of their teeth and mouth properly. This can be seen through the debris index. In addition to counseling activities, other methods provided were demonstrations of how to brush teeth, demonstration of pictures and posters carried out by the service team from the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Jember. The service activities carried out can increase knowledge and improve the degree of dental and oral health of SDN Kranjingan III Jember students.
