Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah pengaplikasian pompa air otomatis di pasar Sudimampir sebagai bentuk dukungan pencegahan penyebaran virus covid-19 di daerah Banjarmasin serta mengedukasi masyarakat/ pengunjung pasar mengenai tata cara cuci tangan yang benar melalui papan informasi yang dipasang pada tempat yang ditentukan. Mitra kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah dinas perhubungan wilayah pasar lima (sudimampir) dikarenakan tempat pengaplikasian pompa tersebut ada di depan dermaga/ pelabuhan yang termasuk tempat dengan aktivitas yang cukup tinggi di wilayah tersebut. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan meliputi: 1) observasi awal, 2) pengaplikasian kegiatan, 3) evaluasi, dan 4) refleksi. Evaluasi dilakukan secara kuantitatif menggunakan instrumen angket respon mitra dan pengunjung pasar terhadap kegiatan yang dilakukan. Adapun hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa: 1) terpasangnya pompa air otomatis dan papan informasi tata cara mencuci tangan yang baik dan benar di daerah pasar serta 2) respon mitra dan pengunjung pasar terhadap kegiatan yang dilakukan 88,88% termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 3,56 dari skor maksimal rata-rata 4. Indikator respon ini dilihat dari: 1) 86,67% termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dalam keahlian dan kesiapan dari tim dalam kegiatan, 2) 92,50% termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dari segi kegunaan dari alat yang diaplikasikan, 3) 97,50% termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dalam kesesuaian dengan kebutuhan masyarakat, dan 4) 78,75% termasuk dalam kategori baik dalam hal kesesuaian kegiatan dengan harapan masyarakat (mitra dan pengunjung). This activity aims to apply an automatic water pump in the Sudimampir market to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus in the Banjarmasin and educate the public/market visitors about washing hand procedures through information on a board installed someplace. The partner of this service activity is the Department of Transportation of the Pasar Lima area (Sudimampir) because the pump application location is in front of the pier/port, a place with quite high activity in the area. The activity methods used include 1) initial observation, 2) application of activities, 3) evaluation, and 4) reflection. The evaluation is used quantitatively using a questionnaire instrument of the responses of partners and market visitors to the activities carried out. The results of this service include 1) the installation of an automatic water pump and an information board for proper and correct handwashing procedures in the market area and 2) the response of partners and market visitors to the activities carried out by 88.88% including in the very good category with a score an average of 3.56 from the average maximum score 4. This response indicator is seen from: 1) 86.67% is included in the very good category that showed the expertise and readiness of the team in activities, 2) 92.50% is included in the category very good that showed terms of the usefulness of the tools applied, 3) 97.50% is included in the very good category that showed accordance with community needs, and 4) 78.75% is in the good category that showed terms of the suitability of activities with community expectations (partners and visitors).

Pasar tradisional atau pasar rakyat merupakan sebuah pusat kegiatan ekonomi di suatu daerah yang juga menjadi perwujudan kesejahteraan masyarakat sangat berpotensi dalam menggerakkan roda perekonomian berbasis ekonomi rakyat. Pasar rakyat mampu bertahan memberikan pelayanan kebutuhan kepada masyarakat luas sekalipun dalam kondisi krisis perekonomian. Pasar rakyat telah menggambarkan denyut nadi perekonomian rakyat. Oleh karena itu, sangatlah penting untuk menyelamatkan keberadaan pasar rakyat yang kini semakin terhimpit oleh adanya pasar modern yang terus meningkat saat ini. Pemerintah telah memiliki berbagai kebijakan untuk mengantisipasi masalah ini di antaranya adalah Peraturan Presiden Nomor 112 tahun 2007 tentang Penataan dan Pembinaan Pasar rakyat, Pusat Perbelanjaan dan Toko Modern. Namun berbagai kebijakan seringkali hanya diberlakukan pada pasar rakyat yang disediakan atau dibangun oleh pemerintah atau pengelola wilayah. Padahal tak jarang, pasar rakyat yang ada berawal dari pasar yang tumbuh dari swadaya masyarakat. Pasar seperti ini hampir merata tumbuh di setiap kota di Indonesia demikian pula di Kota Pontianak. Identifikasi pola pertumbuhan pasar rakyat di Kota Pontianak ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui bagaimana sebetulnya sebuah pasar rakyat tumbuh dan berkembang di area permukiman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, dalam upaya mendeskripsikan gejala atau fenomena tentang pertumbuhan yang terjadi pada saat penelitian dilakukan. Pendekatan kuantitatif dilakukan dalam rangka untuk mengetahui jumlah pasar rakyat hasil swadaya masyarakat. Pola pertumbuhan pasar rakyat di Kota Pontianak yang terbentuk dari swadaya masyarakat Kota Pontianak yang ditunjukkan dari hasil penelitian ini sangat relevan untuk menjadi pertimbangan dalam penataan pasar rakyat di Kota Pontianak di masa yang akan datang. Ini terkait pada kebutuhan masyarakat, lokasi, kepemilikan, penempatan dan pengelolaan.PUBLIC MARKETS GROWTH PATTERN IN PONTIANAKTraditional markets or public markets are the centers of economic activity in an area that also embody the welfare of the people who have great potential and can drive the economy of the people. During financial crisis, the markets can survive, providing service needs to the community. Public markets have described the pulse of the people's economy. Therefore, the existence of public markets, which are now increasingly squeezed by the rapid growth of the modern stores, are important to be immediately saved. The government already has several legal protections to overcome this problem, one of it is the Presidential Regulation Number 112 of 2007 concerning the Arrangement and Development of Public Markets, Shopping Centers and Modern Stores. However, various policies are often only applied to the public markets that are provided or built by the government or regional managers. Even though it is not uncommon that the existing public markets originated from markets that grow from nongovernmental community self-help. These markets are almost evenly grown in every city in Indonesia, as well as in Pontianak. Identification of the pattern of growth of the public markets in Pontianak is intended to find out how public markets grow and develop in residential areas. This research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach, to describe the symptoms or phenomena about the growth that occur at the time the research is conducted. A quantitative approach is carried out to find out the number of people's markets resulting from nongovernmental community self-help. The results showed that the pattern of growth of public market in Pontianak which was formed from the self-help of the people was very relevant to be considered in the structuring of the public markets in Pontianak in the future. This is related to community needs, location, ownership, placement, and management.

Abstrak: Infeksi Coronavirus tipe baru menyebabkan gangguan/penyakit pernapasan yang berat dan fatal serta mirip dengan sindrom gangguan pernapasan akut. Masyarakat perlu berperan secara aktif dalam melakukan upaya pencegahan penularan COVID-19. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat dalam melakukan upaya pencegahan COVID-19. Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah Sosialisasi kesehatan tentang pencegahan COVID-19 menggunakan brosur dengan cara mendatangi rumah masyarakat untuk sosialiasi dan membagi brosur. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada hari Rabu-Kamis tanggal 01-02 April 2020 pukul 10.20-12.00 WITA. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini dilaksanakan di wilayah RT 20, Kelurahan Fatufeto, Kota Kupang. Total peserta sebanyak 37 Kepala Keluarga. Selain itu, penulis juga melakukan koordinasi dengan ketua RT 20 dan Pihak gereja. Sosialisasi dapat berjalan dengan baik. Masyarakat begitu senang dan ada beberapa kepala keluarga yang bertanya lebih mendetail terkait upaya pencegahan COVID-19. Masyarakat mulai sadar tentang bahaya dan upaya pencegahan COVID-19. Terbukti dari masyarakat kebanyakan memilih untuk tidak berpergian keluar rumah jika tidak ada kepentingan yang mendesak selama masa pandemic COVID-19. Upaya-upaya pencegahan atau Protokol Kesehatan harus tetap diperhatikan dan dilakukan oleh masyarakat.Abstract: A new type of Coronavirus infection causes severe and fatal respiratory illnesses and is similar to acute respiratory distress syndrome. The community needs to play an active role in making efforts to prevent the transmission of COVID-19. The aim of community service is to increase public knowledge and awareness in making efforts to prevent COVID-19. The service method carried out is health socialization about the prevention of COVID-19 using brochures by visiting community homes for socialization and distributing brochures. This community service activity is held on Wednesday-Thursday April 01-02 2020 at 10.20-12.00 WITA. This socialization activity was carried out in the RT 20 area, Fatufeto Village, Kupang City. The total number of participants was 37 households. In addition, the authors also coordinated with the head of RT 20 and the church. Socialization works well. The community was very happy and there were several family heads who asked for more details regarding efforts to prevent COVID-19. The public is becoming aware of the dangers and efforts to prevent COVID-19. It is evident that the majority of people choose not to go out of the house if there is no urgent need during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prevention efforts or Health Protocols must still be considered and carried out by the community

Traditionally, highway improvement project evaluation is done without incorporating highway users’ views. The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) wants drivers to be satisfied and have “good feelings” about its passing lanes program. KDOT needs input to decide whether passing lanes are efficient, safe, and acceptable to the public. Drivers’ views were solicited via a questionnaire survey which was part of a comprehensive study on passing lanes in Kansas. Generally, drivers support the passing lane program and suggest construction of more passing lanes. Drivers think that passing lanes are more beneficial for improving safety than for saving time. They are equally divided on the length of passing lanes between “too short” and “just right,” although the provided lengths are within the recommended optimum lengths found in the literature. The “too short” responses could be due to existing passing lane spacings, preference of four-lane highways over two-lane highways, and difference in local conditions from those used to determine lengths. Drivers cited fellow drivers’ failure to follow signs and markings properly, and failure to use the lanes properly; this seems to indicate that improvements in signing and pavement markings should be considered. A smaller proportion of drivers, satisfied with a lower frequency of local travel on a route closer to the state’s borders (i.e., more unfamiliar drivers), suggests the importance of standardizing highway operating and design practices throughout the country.

As feiras e mercados públicos oferecem diversos produtos e serviços em um único local, revelam hábitos e manifestações culturais, sendo de grande importância sócio-econômico-cultural para o município. Porém, os alimentos muitas vezes são comercializados em condições que propiciam a contaminação por microrganismos quando não são adotadas práticas adequadas de manipulação e exposição. Sendo assim, o objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar as condições higiênico-sanitárias dos alimentos perecíveis comercializados na feira livre e no mercado público do município de Arapiraca-AL. Foram realizadas duas visitas semanais em dezembro/2018, uma visita no Mercado Público, e a outra na feira livre, que ocorre no dia de segunda-feira, localizada nas ruas próximas ao Mercado Público. Os alimentos avaliados foram frutas e hortaliças, carnes e pescados, através de um roteiro de inspeção (check-list) baseado na Resolução da Diretoria Colegiada – RDC nº 216/2004 da Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária – ANVISA, cujos itens selecionados foram condições de comercialização, condições de armazenamento, condições de higiene dos manipuladores e das instalações. Na maioria dos aspectos avaliados, principalmente na feira livre, os resultados foram insatisfatórios, devido ao não cumprimento das normas vigentes. Conclui-se que a feira livre não possui estrutura mínima para que possam ser aplicadas as normas higiênico-sanitárias na venda de carnes e pescados e o mercado público apesar de ter uma melhor infraestrutura, os feirantes desrespeitam essas normas.

Tax is the main source of state revenue. In 2018, the source of state revenues of 85,40% came from the tax sector. So large, state revenue from tax sector, encourage the government in increase taxpayer compliance. However, the realization of revenue from the tax sector in January-November has not yet reached the target. In 2018, the government issued a government regulation that was imposed on taxpayers who have certain gross income. So, with the issuance of government regulation it is hoped that the public can play an active role in economic activities. This service was carried out in Banjaran Hamlet, Sukoreno, Sentolo, Kulon Progo, Special Regional of Yogyakarta. This service is shown to MSME players. This service technique uses lecture, sharing and discussion methods. The result of this service activity is to increase the knowledge of MSME actors regarding the benefits of NPWP, the reason MSME actors must pay taxes, and tax benefits. In addition, this service also found the reason for MSME not to make NPWP, as well as the reason for MSME actors not to apply Government Regulation Number 23 of 2018. In Indonesia, currently they are still fighting the Corona / Covid 19 Virus, as well as in other countries. The number of cases affected by patients continues to grow. In several reports reported recovery, but not a few who died. Information dissemination aims to change people's attitudes, beliefs and behavior through providing information and raising awareness that a problem that arises can be overcome, especially in terms of preventing the transmission of Covid 19 through the selection and use of good and correct masks.Providing correct knowledge to the public can be done in various ways, one of which is by directly socializing the knowledge that will be given. This community service activity is carried out by extension methods, distributing information brochures, distributing masks and directly teaching the community how to use masks and choosing the right and good masks.After health education was carried out, the community understood and wanted to choose masks and use masks correctly. The public also understands the importance of taking preventive measures so as not to be infected or exposed to the Covid 19 virus.Health education activities should be carried out routinely by health workers in order to improve public health by changing people's life habits to be clean and healthy ones

Desa Terong memiliki cukup banyak kasus stunting. Perhatian terhadap pemenuhan pangan yang bergizi perlu dilakukan. Upaya peningkatan gizi masyarakat lewat pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan dengan penanaman tanaman buah seperti papaya California dan alpukat yang bergizi bisa menjadi solusi yang tepat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan gizi dan ekonomi masyarakat sasaran dengan memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan dan pendampingan. Masyarakat sasaran sangat antusias dengan kegiatan pengabdian ini, terlihat dari jumlah peserta saat penyuluhan dan penyerahan bibit pepaya california dan alpukat. Meskipun hasil dari tanaman buah tersebut membutuhkan waktu, masyarakat sasaran merasa bahwa upaya ini cukup membantu dalam usaha perbaikan gizi masyarakat. Bahkan masyarakat berpikiran bahwa penanaman tanaman buah di lahan pekarangan ini bisa menjadi potensi pengembangan desa menjadi desa wisata berbasis buah. Jangka panjang dari dampak kegiatan pengabdian ini sangat berarti mulai dari level keluarga sampai wilayah desa. Pemenuhan gizi keluarga secara mandiri lewat lahan pekarangan perlu dikembangkan, masyarakat perlu lebih disadarkan. Selain memberikan asupan gizi yang baik, juga bernilai ekonomis. This community service activity aims to increase people nutrition and economic through homegarden utilization. Method which was used is extension and assistance. The targeted community was very enthusiastic about this community service program, it can be seen from the number of participants during extension and handing over California papaya and avocado seeds. Although the results of the fruit crops need time, the targeted community feels that this effort is quite helpful to improve people nutrition. The targeted community thinks that planting fruit trees on homegarden can be a potential for village development to become a fruit-based tourism village. The long-term impact of these community service activities is significant from the family level to the village area. Fulfillment of family nutrition independently through the homegarden utilization, the community needs to be more aware. In addition to providing good nutrition, it is also economically valuable.
