This research was conducted due to the unavailability of textbook in lecture of Basic Physics 1. The aim of this research was to describe the response of students to basic physics textbook that contained the value of faith and piety and integrated with South Borneo local wisdom in the direct instruction model setting that has been developed. The method of this research was descriptive analytic. The subjects of the try out were 17 first-semester students of the Physics Education Department Faculty of Education and Teacher Training UIN Antasari Banjarmasin who participated in the Basic Physics 1 lecture in the 2018/2019 academic year. Data was obtained through student response questionnaires. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that students' response to the content, appearance, and language of textbook were in the good criteria with an average score of 4.31 and 100% of students stated that they were interested in using the textbook. It could be concluded that the basic physics textbook integrated with faith, piety, and local wisdom in direct instruction model setting is feasible to use in the Basic Physics 1 lecture.

The research aimed to focus on describing the practicality of teaching material based on katupat Kandangan local wisdom which arranged by I-CLORE (Islamic-Connecting to Local Wisdom, Organizing, Reflecting, dan Extending) learning model. This research was a research and development study, with the development model of ADDIE. The subjects of this research were first-semester students of the 2019/2020 academic year in the Physics Education Department, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training of UIN Antasari Banjarmasin who learned Fundamental of Physics 1. The data were obtained through the questionnaire and observation sheet. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The result of the research showed that the practicality was very good because the mean score of easy to use, benefit, time efficiency, and interest was 4.29. Then, the mean score of lecturer activities implementation and the mean score of student activities implementation were 4.72 and 4.31 in very good category. The conclusion of this research is the teaching material was practical. Therefore, this teaching material can be used in Fundamental of Physics 1 course and tested in another experiment with a larger sample.

This study is the research of the development of physics education game application. This study has two purposes, namely to (1) developing multimedia for physics learning in the form of a physics education game on direct current electric circuits, (2) knowing the quality of educational game applications that have been produced according to experts, (3)knowing the user's (student's) response to the media of physics learning in the form of educational game applications related to direct current electrical circuit. The development procedure in this study refers to the Luther-Sutopo procedure consisting of the stage of concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. Data collection techniques in the research in this study using a questionnaire. The research instrument in this study was a validation and assessment sheet which was adapted from the rubric for evaluating C. Stewart's educational game, student response sheets, and the game tester response sheet. Product validation and assessment uses a Likert scale with 4 scales and students' responses use the Guttman scale, while the game tester response sheet uses descriptive analysis. The results of this study are products in the form of simulation physics education game applications in direct current electric circuits, the results of the validation and assessment of material experts and media experts, the educational game application scored 3.8 and 3.3 in a very good category. The results of the user’s (student’s) response to the direct current electric circuit educational game application developed got an average score of 0.97 with the agreed category.

<p>this research is meant to:1) see the difference influence of Cooperative Script Model with the help of mind mapping with Direct Instructional teaching model to students’ creativity skill; 2) to prove the affectivity of Cooperative Script model implementation with the help of Mind Mapping in in improving Student’s creativity in applying basic teaching skill in Micro Teaching simulation activity; 3) to prove the implementation of Direct Instruction model in improving students’ creativity in applying basic teaching skill in micro teaching simulation. This research uses experimental method with two groups pre-test post-test. The result shows that: (1) the implementation of cooperative script model with the help of mind mapping is proven to be effective in improving student’s creativity in applying basic teaching skills in simulation activity can be seen from the experiment group where 11 skills (indicator formulation skill, apperception skill, opening skill, questioning skill, using variation skill, class management skill, discussion guidance skill, individual teaching skill, material mastery skill, class mastery skill and media usage skill) are showing the average score of more than 80, (2) the implementation of direct instruction model can improve student’s creativity in applying basic teaching skills where 6 basic skills (indicator formulation skill, giving apperception skill, lesson opening skill, questioning skill, class management skill and individual teaching skill) are able to achieve average scores of more than 80, and (3) the misconception done by students can be categorized as basic mathematical misconception which is caused by apperception mistake and understanding.</p>Keywords:

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh signifikan yang menggunakan active listening melalui story telling dengan anak yang menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung direct instruction terhadap kemampuan menyimak anak kelompok A di Taman Kanak-kanak Gugus II Kecamatan Buleleng Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Jenis peneltian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu, populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelompok A di gugus II Kecamatan Buleleng Tahun 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 248 anak. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu TK Shaiwa Dharma yang berjumlah 20 anak dan TK Kemala Bhayangkari yang berjumlah 20 anak. Data kemampuan menyimak dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode non tes yaitu dengan observasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial yaitu uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampua menyimak antara siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran actice listening dengan siswa yang tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran active listening dengan thit = 32,409 > ttab 2,042 ini berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil analsis data model pembelajaran active listening melalui story telling berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menyimak. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari skor rata-rata siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran active listening yaitu 27,85 dan skor rata-rata siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran direct instruction yaitu 16,15. Perbaikan dilakukan dalam proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran active listening untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak anak dalam mengatasi kendala-kendala dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Kata Kunci : bercerita, active listening, kemampuan menyimak This study aims to determine the significant influence using story telling method with children using direct instruction model to the ability of listening to group A children in Kugas II Buleleng District School of the School Year 2017/2018. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study, the population of this study is the entire group A in cluster II Buleleng District Year 2017/2018 which amounted to 248 children. The sample of this research is TK Shaiwa Dharma which amounted to 20 children and Kemala Bhayangkari Kindergarten which amounted to 20 children. The listening ability data was collected by using non test method with observation. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis technique, t-test. The result of research shows that there is difference of listening ability between students using actice listening learning model with students who do not use active listening learning model with thit = 32,409 > ttab 2,042 this means there is significant difference. Based on the results of analysis data model of active listening learning through story telling influence on the ability to listen. This can be seen from the average score of students using active listening learning model that is 27.85 and the average score of students using direct instruction model that is 16.15. Improvement is done in the learning process by using active listening learning model to improve the ability to listen to children in overcoming obstacles in the process of learning in class.keyword : story telling, listening ability, active listening

This research aims to get an overview of the differences in the increase in cognitive abilities and retention of college students who get basic physics learning based on value use scientific methods and without use scientific methods, and get an overview of the relationship between retention and cognitive abilities of college students who get basic physics learning based on value use scientific methods. The research conducted use a quasi-experimental method with a randomised control group design pretest-posttest design. The population is all college students of the Physics Education Study Programme 2016-2017 odd semester at one of the Private Universities in Jakarta. Samples of two classes selected by cluster random sampling. The results showed that there was an increase in cognitive abilities and retention of college students in both classes. However, the magnitude of the increase in the experimental class was more significant than the control class. The normalised gain average score for cognitive abilities in the experimental class is 0.78 which meets the high criteria, and in the control class is 0.65 which meets the criteria of being. While the normalised gain average score for student retention resistance in the experimental class is 0.68 which meets the criteria of being, and the control class is 0.47 which meets the criteria of being. Based on the average difference test, at the 95% confidence level, the results of the study show that value-based basic physics learning using scientific methods can significantly improve cognitive abilities and college student retention resistance. In addition, the results of the study also showed that there was a strong and significant relationship between cognitive abilities and student retention resistance with a correlation value of 0.63.

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mendeskripsikan efektivitas serta validitas dan kepraktisan penggunaan buku ajar Fisika Dasar 1 berintegrasi imtak dan kearifan lokal Kalimantan Selatan melalui model pengajaran langsung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan, dengan model pengembangan Dick and Carey. Subjek ujicoba penelitian ini ialah 17 orang mahasiswa semester 1 Program Studi Tadris Fisika, Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan (FTK) UIN Antasari. Data diperoleh melalui lembar validasi, tes hasil belajar, dan angket. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas penggunaan buku ajar berkategori sedang dengan skor N-Gain sebesar 0,32; validitas buku ajar berupa isi, penyajian, dan bahasa berkategori sangat valid dengan kriteria validitas masing-masing aspek sebesar 93,75%; 92,36%; dan 95%.; dan kepraktisan buku ajar berkategori praktis dengan skor rata-rata 3,21. Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar tersebut efektif digunakan dalam perkuliahan Fisika Dasar 1.The aim of this study is to describe the effectiveness and validity and practicality of the use of Basic Physics 1 textbooks with integrated faith and piety, and South Kalimantan local wisdom through the direct instruction model. The data ware obtained through the validation sheet, the test of learning result, and questionnaire. The data are analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The result of the research shows the effectiveness of textbooks usage is medium category with the N-Gain score of 0.32, the textbooks validity of the content, the appearance, and the language have very valid category with the values are 93.75%; 92.36%; and 95%, and the practicability is practical with a mean score of 3.21. The conclusion of this research is the textbooks is effective to use in Basic Physics 1 lecture.

<div><p><em>Tiered task is a task that is given through strategic course with other courses that support continuously at each semester. This study aims to evaluate the students’ procedural knowledge ability through the process of identifying, analyzing and classifying the physics textbook and the students’ achievement and perceptions where the tiered task -1 are given. This study uses the same subjects design(treatment by subject). The subjects in this study are the third semester students of physics education UNIMA of 68 students. All groups are treated and data derived from the study are the work result in groups containing identification-analysis-classification format of the sub-topic of the structure and characteristics of the book. Data analysis technique use quantitative descriptive in percentage according to variables and use the average score of the group to see the achievement. The results show that, at task I, the students are still not fully able to identify-analyze-classify the high school physics textbook. Similarly, students have not understood the procedural knowledge correctly. But at task II and III, there is increase of the students' ability to develop the textbook related to map concepts, theories, law and principle concepts and also relates to the ability to develop mathematical description, exercises, and summarizing. Barriers in doing the assignment are mainly experienced by the students who are not serious in group discussion and less discuss with tutors. The process of assigning the tiered task -1 helps students to improve basic physics and be a provision in continuing the tiered task tiered at The Study of Physics II course.</em><em></em></p></div>

This study aims to determine the completeness of physics learning outcomes class VIII SMP Ar-Risalah Lubuklinggau academic year 2017/2018 after applied Direct Instruction model. The type of research is quasi-experimental research, with the design used is one group pretest and posttest design. The population in this study is all students of class VIII SMP Ar-Risalah Lubuklinggau academic year 2017/2018. The sample of the study consisted of one class taken at random by drawing the class VIII.B. Technique of data collecting using technique of test. Student test score data were analyzed using t-test. Based on the results of the analysis of the final test data obtained t count = 2.84 greater than ttable = 1.703 with the average score of the final test of students amounted to 73.89 and the percentage of complete students reached 82.14%. So it can be concluded that the results of physics learning class VIII SMP Ar-Risalah Lubuklinggau academic year 2017/2018 after the implementation of Direct Instruction model significantly completed. A few students might get confused which preposition could be properly used for certain conditions. In other word, they might be failed to distinguish the used of each preposition of direction appropriately because it has different application and meaning in sentences. Based on the syllabus of structure-one course, the students were expected to understand and to be able to use this kind of preposition correctly. Hence, the purpose of the research was to find out the students’ ability in using preposition of direction at the first year students of English Education Department, Faculty of Education and Teachers Training, Lancang Kuning University Pekanbaru for Academic Year 2016/2017. Therefore, the researcher conducted survey design to identify whether the students have understood this subject or not. Finally, the result of the study showed that the average score of students’ ability in using prepositions of direction was 66.47. In conclusion, the students’ ability in using preposition of direction was categorized into “fair” category.

This study aims to produce the monograph of the simulation and visualization of 2D and 3D wave on the circular membrane with Scilab Software for Physics and Physics Education students. The research method used was experimental research which produced a reference book in the form of a research monograph. This monograph was validated by physics education lecturers, educators,and physics education students. Data collection techniques were carried out by collecting questionnaires in the form of expert validation sheets (material and media), educator / lecturer response sheets, and student response sheets. The data obtained from the validation test are in the form of a percentage of the validity of the monograph from the validation of two material experts and two media experts, the average score are 91% and 90%. The monograph test by three educators and the response test by 15 students the average score are 89% and 88%. The results of the validation test of the material expert, media expert, educators response, and the response of the students are the very good so that it can be concluded that the monograph product can be used as a learning media in the form of reference books in vibration and wave learning.
