<p><em>By utilizing the development of technology and communication in the 21st century, it is hoped that it can meet the needs of students related to local-based history learning. With the current development of technology and communication, we have felt the impact such as the emergence of various applications with features that can be used to compile and shape teaching materials with digital displays, such as products that have been compiled with the theme KH. Ghalib's struggle. The application used is Flip PDF Professional 2.4.9.18. By utilizing this technology, it is hoped that it can improve students' readiness to study history, especially those based locally. The methodology used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This method is carried out by distributing questionnaires containing questions about the readiness of Pringsewu Private Vocational School students. The findings in two private schools in Pringsewu Regency, namely SMK Nurul Huda and SMK KH Ghalib, show the readiness of students in learning local history teaching materials. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that by utilizing technological and communication advances it can trigger student readiness to learn, especially local-based history learning.</em></p>

<p>Learning local history is very important in the development of education in Indonesia. Local history is able to understand society about the origin of its history, so that the community is able to better deal with the future. Local history learning needs to be maximized in school education, one of which is by adding local history teaching material itself. This research was conducted with the aim to analyze the use of local history teaching materials in learning to support the literacy of local historical culture. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods that involve teachers and students. Research techniques used by observation, interviews, and reviewing several related documents. Observations were made at two high schools in Madiun Regency, namely SMAN 1 Mejayan and SMAN 1 Geger. The results showed that: (1) historical teaching materials used did not support the literacy of local historical culture, (2) students needed additional local history materials that allowed them to conduct research and improve the history of literacy connected with local history.</p><p><strong><em>Keywords: literacy; local history; madiun; teaching materials</em></strong></p>

The purpose of this research is to discuss the development of material that supports the history of the struggle of K.H Gholib, who then compiles it into an e-book using the software "Flip PDF Professional 2.4.6.8". It was developed separately to analyze the material and increase student interest in Private Vocational High Schools in Pringsewu District by instilling the values of nationalism, heroism, and patriotism of a religious figure and fighter who participated in the struggle for independence in Lampung from the attack of the Dutch Military Aggression II in 1949. The research method used was the research and development of "R&D". The focus of e-book development uses the ADDIE development model through five intoxices, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The final results of this study show how the preparation and implementation of e-books in the classroom, so that the product developed can foster student interest in learning.

The history of Indonesian Chinese society is still rarely studied in history learning at school. One of them concerns the discriminatory treatment of them during the New Order era. This article aimed to describe discriminatory policies against ethnic Chinese during the New Order era, to present it as a history teaching materials, and to elaborate on the importance of studying it for the younger people. This research used historical and qualitative descriptive method using literature. The result showed that (1) Ethnic Chinese in the New Order era received discriminatory treatment in various sectors. It was a violation of human rights and susceptible to trigger conflict. (2) The study of the Chinese people can be served as a history teaching material in the subject of the New Order era. (3) Teaching materials development is expected to be used to create awareness of multiculturalism through history teaching.Sejarah masyarakat Tionghoa Indonesia masih jarang dikaji dalam pembelajaran sejarah di sekolah. Salah satunya mengenai perlakuan diskriminatif terhadap mereka pada masa Orde Baru. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kebijakan diskriminatif terhadap etnis Tionghoa selama Orde Baru, menyajikannya sebagai bahan ajar sejarah, dan menguraikan arti penting mempelajarinya bagi generasi muda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode historis dan kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Etnis Tionghoa pada masa Orde Baru menerima perlakuan diskriminatif di berbagai sektor. Hal itu merupakan pelanggaran atas hak asasi manusia dan terbukti rentan konflik. (2) Studi tentang dinamika masyarakat Tionghoa tersebut dapat disajikan sebagai bahan ajar sejarah pada pokok bahasan masa Orde Baru. (3) Kajian tersebut diharapkan dapat menciptakan kesadaran multikulturalisme melalui pembelajaran sejarah.

The research objective was to analyze the feasibility and practicality of Vocational School teaching materials based on STEM integrated ethnoscience. Research and Development of Borg and Gall (2003) with Methods Embedded Experimental were used in this research. The results showed that the STEM integrated ethnoscience-based Vocational School science teaching materials were feasible to be used in research trials based on the assessment of 4 experts judgment which were 2 expert lecturers (material and media), and 2 education practitioners. The teaching material components included Syllabus; Lesson plan; Student Worksheet; HOTs assessment; Material Expert; and Media expert. All components showed very good criteria. Furthermore, the practicality of teaching materials was in a good category based on student responses. Teaching materials were effective in increasing the HOTs of vocational school students based on the Gain score of 0.44 in the moderate category. Teaching materials can improve students' high-order thinking habits through contextual and complex learning resources in ethnoscience studies through STEM literacy.

The Curriculum 2013 is a learning guidance for schools in Indonesia. One among many schools that applied Curriculum 2013 is vocational school. Social sciences based majors also being taught in vocational school. One of them is Indonesian History. The major of history in vocational school is very strategic for internalizing national character values. Unfortunately, history teachers in vocational school don’t apply suitable way in their teaching. That’s understandable since students in vocational school focus on vocational majors. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method by utilizing some techniques of data collection such as observations, interviews and documentations. The aim of this research is to know teaching strategy which is suitable in vocational school. The benefit of this research is the finding of ideal teaching strategy for vocational school students. In this case, the object of research is SMK Negeri 3 Kudus. History teaching in vocational school can utilize teaching media and learning in historical site. Those two strategies have goal for easing students of vocational school in understanding material of history subject. Each of those strategies has advantages and downsides, so that combination of them can cover each others’ downsides.

Many students choose majors because of joining friends, because of the popularity of majors and other reasons even though the chosen majors are not in accordance with their talents. This research is expected to provide solutions to students regarding the majors they will choose. If this problem can be overcome then it will greatly affect both students and schools, the impact on students will be increased enthusiasm and enthusiasm for learning, for schools the impact will be the development of every department there is because the output produced is competent students because of the knowledge delivered right on target. This research is expected to minimize the mistakes in the selection or determination of student majors by applying the SAW method, can determine what variables determine the accuracy of the majors separation by applying the SAW method. The data tested on this system is the data of Bengkulu 1 Vocational School students as many as 100 student data on the Computer and Information Engineering skills program. he data that is processed in this system is the data of Bengkulu 1 Vocational School students as many as 204 student data on the Computer Engineering and Information Technology expertise program. The method of decision making in the system is the Simple Additive Weighting method. The results of testing this method from 204 test data performed for an accuracy of 94,61%. The high accuracy obtained from testing the data so that this system is very suitable to be used to determine the majors of students of SMKN 1 Kota Bengkulu in the field of Computer and Information Engineering expertise.

This study aims to measure the impact of entrepreneurial motivation on the entrepreneurial intention of Muslim vocational school students. There is a lack of scholarly attention focusing on the Muslim students in the entrepreneurship field of the study. There were three models to be tested in this study. The first model covered six dimensions of motivation linked directly to entrepreneurial intention. The second model grouped the dimensions under the motivation variable. The third model linked taking motivation to giving motivation and giving motivation to entrepreneurial intention. Data were collected from 626 vocational school students in Jakarta. The exploratory and structural equation models were used for data analysis. This study found that, in the first model tested, “entrepreneur is cool” dimension had a significant effect on entrepreneurial intention. In the second model tested, “entrepreneurial is cool”, “financial freedom”, and “public service” dimensions represented entrepreneurial motivation that could predict Muslim students’ entrepreneurial intention. In the third model, taking motivation significantly affected giving motivation and giving motivation significantly affected intention. Recommendations for educators and future study are discussed.

ABSTRACTIn the present era, advances in technology and communication are growing rapidly, especially in the field of education, it is necessary to develop learning media based on information and communication technology. The development of instructional media must be in accordance with the purpose of learning, but it is also the learning media that can make the students are educated to be independent in accordance with the teacher's direction. This study aims to develop historical learning media as an online comic reading service. Currently researchers are using Historytoon to create a formative involving high school students in Yogyakarta.
