The analysis of scientific approaches to understanding the psychological characteristics of the role of the management team is important in the context of ensuring the organizational development of educational institutions. The purpose of the study is to explore the basic approaches and views of modern researchers on defining team roles, to identify the main functional and role positions in the management team.Determining the types of leadership roles of educational institutions based on empirical research data. Also based on the method of case studies problem-situational analysis − solving leadership problems by educational managers − were analyzed the effectiveness of role-playing positions in management teams. Conclusions were made about the need for some correction of understanding and assessment of the importance of all roles in the staff of heads of educational institutions. Each of these command roles related to specific personality traits identified by the tests.An analysis of the orientation of education leaders towards team roles shows that they tend to focus on all team roles. However, one can say that some roles are more attractive to researchers, while others are less attractive. The government can use the research findings to create and implement training programs for educational leaders.

Abstract: The term management has many meanings, management is directing / leading something of effort through planning, organizing, coordinating and controlling human resources and materials aimed at achieving predetermined goals. In the science of management there is the concept of problem solving that is placed in the workplace, namely the P-D-C-A approach as a process of solving problems with a continuous and systematic pattern. While management can also be defined as a process of organizing and utilizing the resources of the organization through the cooperation of members to achieve organizational goals effectively and efficiently. The practice of organizing education can be analogous to the production process in a company (industry). It's just that the products produced by educational institutions in the form of services. Therefore educational institutions can be said as service companies. From this perspective, the quality and quality of services (services) produced is a measure of the quality of an educational institution. Namely the extent of customer satisfaction with the services produced. What is meant by customers here are internal customers, namely teachers and other education personnel, and external customers, namely students and related parties outside the educational institution. Thus, schools are said to be of good quality if they are able to provide services according to or even exceed the expectations of teachers, employees, students, and other related parties such as parents, funders, the government or the world of work of users of graduates. The quality of education in an educational institution will be greatly influenced by the potential of educational institutions and the governance system. The existing potential must be optimized to support quality improvement. Likewise, the education governance system will develop well when it is implemented through a good system by professional managers. The system has been designed in detail by the government which was stipulated by the Minister of National Education Regulation No. 19 of 2007 concerning "Education Management Standards by Primary and Secondary Education Units". This regulation was prepared by the government to regulate a good, balanced and sustainable governance system.The problem is determined to what extentthe ability of educational institutions to optimize the potential of the institution and optimizing inputs, processes, outputs and outcomes, starting from planning, organizing, actuiting, and controlling. This paper will discuss the improving educational quality through optimizing the potential of educational institutions in Indonesia in order to achieve shared ideals for a better educational future.

Education is a main asset in the growing and development of a country. Various financial resources from the government and private agencies are provided to ensure that all Malaysians have the opportunity to obtain education and further their studies. Waqaf and zakat are one of the most important contributors in education. There have been many efforts undertaken by waqaf and zakat institutions in the development of education sector such as helping the B40 and underprivileged gorup. Therefore, this study will discuss the role of waqaf and zakat for educational institutions in the context of Malaysia. The study also will discuss the proposed educational institution model through the synergy of waqaf and zakat funds. This qualitative study uses the method of documentation. The findings suggest that the proposed establishment of a fully-funded educational institution using waqaf and zakat funds should be established for the sustainability of waqaf and zakat institutions as well as the ummah. The synergies between waqaf and zakat funds are believed to strenthen the management and development of the education sector in Malaysia including for those in need. It is hopeful that this study can be used as a guideline and reference to the authorities especially the State Islamic Religious Council, Centre for Waqaf, Waqaf Foundation, as well as NGOs which involved either directly or indirectly in the management of waqaf and zakat throughout Malaysia. ABSTRAK Pendidikan merupakan aset utama dalam kemajuan dan pembangunan sesebuah negara. Pelbagai sumber kewangan daripada pihak kerajaan dan swasta disediakan bagi memastikan semua rakyat Malaysia berpeluang mendapatkan pendidikan dan melanjutkan pelajaran. Wakaf dan zakat merupakan salah satu penyumbang terpenting dalam bidang pendidikan. Terdapat banyak usaha-usaha yang telah dilakukan oleh institusi wakaf dan zakat dalam pembangunan sektor Pendidikan termasuk membantu golongan B40 dan kurang bernasib baik. Justeru, kajian ini akan membincangkan peranan wakaf dan zakat bagi institusi pendidikan dalam konteks Malaysia. Kajian ini juga akan membincangkan cadangan model institusi pendidikan melalui sinergi dana wakaf dan zakat. Kajian kualitatif ini menggunakan kaedah dokumentasi. Hasil kajian mendapati bahawa cadangan penubuhan institusi pendidikan yang dibiayai sepenuhnya menggunakan dana wakaf dan zakat wajar ditubuhkan bagi kelestarian institusi wakaf dan zakat serta ummah. Sinergi antara dana wakaf dan zakat diyakini dapat memperkasakan pengurusan dan pembangunan sektor pendidikan di Malaysia termasuk golongan yang memerlukan. Diharapkan kajian ini dapat dijadikan panduan dan rujukan kepada pihak berwajib khususnya Majlis Agama Islam Negeri, Pusat Wakaf, Yayasan Wakaf, NGO-NGO yang terlibat sama ada secara langsung atau tidak langsung dalam pengurusan wakaf dan zakat di seluruh Malaysia.

Abstrak        Yayasan lembaga pendidikan memiliki kewajiban untuk menyampaikan laporan tahunan kepada para stakeholder mengenai kegiatan yang dilakukan selama setahun. Bagi yayasan yang memperoleh dana dari masyarakat wajib diaudit oleh kantor akuntan publik. Pengelolaan keuangan di lembaga pendidikan merupakan kegitan yang amat penting, harus diawasi, dikendalikan dan diamati setiap saat oleh semua pembina, pengurus, dan pengawas yayasan serta pimpinan lembaga pendidikan, agar bila terjadi sesuatu masalah di keuangan dapat ditangani dengan cepat, tepat dan akurat. Selain itu yayasan lembaga pendidikan memiliki kewajiban pula kepada pemerintah, khususnya di bidang perpajakan. Yasasan lembaga pendidikan diharuskan membuat laporan pajak berupa surat pemberitahuan (SPT) secara bulanan maupun tahunan. SPT bulanan berupa SPT 1721 berupa laporan pemotongan pajak atas gaji, upah, honorarium, uang lembur, THR yang diterima tenaga pendidik (guru/dosen) dan tenaga kependidikan (administrasi, sekuriti, kebersihan) yang telah melampuai penghasilan tidak kena pajak. SPT untuk Pajak Penghasilan Potongan Pungutan seperti PPh Pasal 23, Pasal 26, Pasal 4 ayat 2 bila ada transaksi yang mengharuskan yayasan lembaga pendidikan melakukan pemotongan dan pemungutan. SPT tahunan berupa SPT 1771 sebagai badan usaha berbentuk yayasan juga harus menyampaikan laporan kegiatannnya. Bila ada surplus yang diperoleh tahun itu, harus diberitahu jumlahnya dan dibuat rencana surplus tersebut mau digunakan untuk apa saja. Selama surplus tersebut digunakan tidak melampuai waktu empat tahun dan dimanfaatkan untuk kepentingan lembaga pendidikan tersebut, seperti membangun ruang belajar baru, menyediakan sarana prasarana untuk murid/mahasiswa, dan lainnya, maka surplus tersebut tidak dikenakan pajak penghasilan. Kata Kunci: manajemen keuangan, akuntan publik.      Abstract       Educational institution foundations have an obligation to submit annual reports to stakeholders regarding activities carried out during the year. Foundations that receive funds from the public must be audited by a public accounting firm. Financial management in educational institutions is a very important activity, it must be supervised, controlled and observed at all times by all supervisors, administrators and supervisors of foundations as well as leaders of educational institutions, so that if something happens in finance can be handled quickly, precisely and accurately. In addition, educational institution foundations also have obligations to the government, especially in the field of taxation. Educational institutions are required to prepare tax reports in the form of notification letters (SPT) on a monthly or annual basis. Monthly SPT in the form of SPT 1721 in the form of a tax deduction report on salaries, wages, honoraria, overtime pay, THR received by educators (teachers / lecturers) and educational staff (administration, security, cleanliness) who have exceeded their non-taxable income. SPT for Withholding Tax Withholding such as Income Tax Article 23, Article 26, Article 4 paragraph 2 if there is a transaction that requires educational institution foundations to deduct and collect. Annual SPT in the form of SPT 1771 as a business entity in the form of a foundation must also submit a report on its activities. If there is a surplus obtained that year, the amount must be informed and a plan should be made of the surplus to be used for whatever. As long as the surplus is used less than four years and is used for the benefit of the educational institution, such as building new learning spaces, providing infrastructure for students, etc., the surplus is not subject to income tax. In recent years, the landscape showing a conservative tendency in religion hassignificantly increased. The Islamic Conservatives in Indonesia experienced unexpected and quite surprising growth and development, and perhaps reached its peak in the last 3-5 years. The negative excesses of this conservative tendency are quite worrying and have the potential to disrupt the sustainability of democracy and the integrity of the nation. This research seeks to elaborate efforts to mainstream moderate Islam which is the main agenda of the government (Ministry of Religion) as a step to counter conservative understanding and see how the role of educational institutions there. This research is a qualitative research focusing on the literature study and using a descriptive-analysis approach. The results of this study indicate that in an effort to mainstream moderate Islam, educational institutions play a significant role although not the only determinant. This role can be realized through several aspects such as curriculum and learning processes in educational institutions, supervision and guidance of programs or activities outside the curriculum of educational institutions starting from elementary to high levels, as well as through educational institutions policies.

The article contains the analysis of scientific approaches to understanding of organizational development in the field of educational institutions management as a complex of successive educational changes. Scientific researches on the change of education managers’ behavior in the course of changes are presented.Types of education managers attitude to changes and their quantitative expression were determined and revealed based on the data of an empirical research. Almost half of the surveyed education managers are represented by such types as “traditionalist” and “realist”, which indicates the insufficient orientation of education managers in introducing innovative changes in educational institutions. This indicates a low level of education managers’ readiness to provide the organizational development of educational institutions. The results obtained can be used by the government in developing and implementing the programs for the professional development of education managers. The authors offer the most practical tools for implementing the concept of organizational development. It is proposed to distinguish between special requirements for both professional and personal qualities of education managers.

Every human being should be a leader both for himself and his family. In reality, not all of human can become leader who are leading the people they lead. This swriting is going to describe the situational leaders who have a leadership style in accordance with the prevailing circumstances of the current rapid social change in the context of islamic education. To explain the situational leadership in islamic education, this paper reviewed various islamic literatures both national and internation cotext. Therefore, the findings of this resaerch were the leadership in islamic intitution is not able to adjust the situation with the current changes. Morever, the Islamic educational institution a leader leads will not be able to compete with the general and Islamic educational institutions that have modernized using the curriculum desired by the government and outside community.

Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) explained that from 2010-2013 Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia has increased. This explains that interest in entrepreneurship in Indonesia still become a trend that gets attention for the people of Indonesia. The government's concern in the field of entrepreneurship is increasingly directed in various business actors, one of them is the young generation. This is in accordance with the government program in 2017 where the launch of Beginner Entrepreneurship (WP). This explains that the opportunity to start a business at a young age is no longer an obstacle in view of the support from the government that participated in encouraging the new WP in Indonesia. Educational institutions can be a training place for entrepreneurship incubation for students. Encouragement through the role of courses in the institution should be able to walk in harmony. Readiness of students is not uncommon to be a barrier to start a business. This study aims to explain whether there is an influence between the factors of encouragement of educational institutions and entrepreneurship courses to entrepreneurial interests for students. By using SPSS and error rates of 5%, this results that both the educational institution and the role of entrepreneurship courses partially affect student entrepreneurship interests. This study has limitation on the use of sample quantities and independent variables that still tend to be within a small range. This article deals with Steshenko's practical activity as General Secretary of Education. In developing the concept of the Ukrainian school, I. Steshenko took into account the state of education and those priority tasks that were put on the agenda by the advanced Ukrainian community, educational and student groups. The researcher notes that during the development of the concept of the Ukrainian school, I. Steşhenko took into account the state of education and those priority tasks that were put on the agenda by the advanced Ukrainian community, educational and student groups, the immediate Ukrainianization of education, the creation, especially in villages, of the Ukrainian Ukrainian schools of all types, about the earliest possible introduction of compulsory general education, the release of Ukrainian-Ukrainian teachers from the military service. In accordance with the educational developments of I.Stešenko, supported by the pedagogical community and the government, already in the 1917–1918 academic year, obligatory subjects were introduced in all schools – Ukrainian language and literature, history and geography of Ukraine. According to the results of the research, the author notes that in all schools the study of subjects of Ukrainian studies in the Ukrainian language was introduced and concurrently there should be organized circles for extracurricular study of literature and history of Ukraine, and the libraries of Ukrainian literature were created. Taking into account the influence of the theater on the consciousness of youth, it was proposed to arrange Ukrainian performances regularly at schools, involving students, to hold literary and musical evenings devoted to Ukrainian writers. According to the results of the research, the scholar presents factual materials on the contribution of I. Stešenko to the development of educational institutions. With the participation of I. Steshenko in September 1917, the Ukrainian Gymnasium of the Cyril and Methodius Brotherhood was opened. In the autumn of 1917, 53 secondary schools were opened by the population, including 3 Ukrainian high schools in Kyiv. These were new educational institutions, as the resistance of the Ukrainianization of existing schools on the ground was so significant that it was easier to organize a new one. In October 1917, the Ukrainian People's University, which consisted of historic-philological, physical-mathematical and legal faculties, was opened in Kiev to meet the needs of the Ukrainian people in higher education in Kyiv. The total number of students is 1,400. In November of the same year, the second higher educational institution - Pedagogical Courses was established, which later grew into the Pedagogical Academy. The new secondary school in Ukraine appearead in Ukraine thanks to his activity. The school of that period survied different intentnces cjnnectet with hetman's rule of Seoropatskiy and Rada of Peoples Commissars and in spite of hard political period, thanks to I. M. Steshenko the school of Ukraine passed the period of formation.

Dayah is an Islamic educational institutions located in Aceh. This educational institution is similar to the so-called pesantren – an Islamic boarding school in the island of Java, both from the aspect of function and purpose (although there are also some important differences). In 2003, the Government of Aceh through the Governor of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Decree, issued a regulation, numbered 451.2 / 474/2003 on the Criteria Stipulation and Dayah Assistance in the province of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD). One of the subject matter is to make a policy that dayah is divided into several classifications: Type A, Type B, Type C and Non Type. This classification aims to distinguish the type of assistance to be given to dayah. This qualitative study is conducted to see how effective is the government assistance to support the quality of education in dayah. By conducting interviews to four (4) different dayah (2 interviews at traditional dayah and 2 at modern dayah), this research is expected to analyze the management of education and the impact of government assistance. The results of this study concluded that the education management of dayah remain dependent on their leadership figure (teungku), so that the impact of government assistance also varies positively to dayah physical development and improvement of facilities and infrastructure, but this assistance has also interestingly changed teungku’s positive paradigm into a much more negative one.
