Error may appear when students put the English grammatical incorrectly. Errors is mostly occurred in English as the foreign or second language. The aim of this study is describing kinds of errors are made by the seventh semester students of English department in Madura University on the use of simple past tense in a translated narrative text. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The subject is seventh semester students of English department which consist of 15 students. The instruments used is translating test. The data is analyzed by collecting the data from students, identifying the errors based on its grammatical errors, classifying them into errors classification, and calculated them into percentage. The results showed that the students' errors can be classified into four kinds of errors, which are 25% for omission errors, 5.36% for addition errors, 62.5% for missed formation errors, and 7.14% for missed ordering errors. There are total 56 errors occurred which is dominated by missed ordering errors. The teachers recommended to make a clear understanding related to differentiate grammatical differences between Indonesia and English. Further, students need to practice it more often. The other researchers can provide techniques to increase students’ English grammatical understanding, especially in simple past tense usage.

China and India are rising powers of Asia. Both Asian giants have to adopt the policy of interdependence by growing economic ties; on the other side, they have a strict stance on border disputes. This article describes in detail the bilateral relationship between China-India, especially under the Modi doctrine, during his first term. Secondly, it also discusses the limitation of these growing ties and growing concerns for Pakistan. The basic argument of this article is that the growing economic interdependence will affect Pakistan, especially if this interdependence transfer from the economic to military dimension. The whole data is based on exploratory in nature. A qualitative research method has been used to achieve the research goals. Tools used for data collection include oral interviews and content analysis of the existing literature on the subject in the form of books, official reports and research articles. The relevant literature has been objectively analyzed to reach a meaningful conclusion.

Termination of employment is one of the last attempts carried out by the company if no agreement is reached between the parties. However, all efforts must be made in advance so that Termination of Employment does not occur, as stated in Article 151 paragraph (1) of Law No. 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower. The subject matter of this case can be seen from the results of the Judicial Review with Decision Number 165 P / Pdt.Sus-PHI / 2018, stating that the Defendant has unilaterally terminated the Work Relationship and is obliged to pay compensation to the Plaintiff in the form of wages until the IMTA end. Even though according to Article 62 of Law No. 13 of 2003 concerning Labor states that if one party terminates a work relationship before the time expires, the party ending the employment relationship is obliged to pay the worker or labor wage until the expiration of the term of the work agreement. In addition to that, the other main issue is the supervision of the Ministry of Manpower on the use of Foreign Workers (TKA) related to this case. The type of research used is the normative research method.

Abstract The narratives of the cause of revelation (Asbab al-Nuzul) play a decisive role in the interpretation of Quranic verses. On the other hand, when coming across with these narratives, presuppositions, and precomprehensions play an important role in selecting them.   This research tries to study the narratives of the cause of revelation in the Tafsir al Munir fi al Aqidah wa al Shariah wa al Manhaj (by Karya Wahbah al Zuhaili) and explain the role of Wahbah al Zuhaili’s religious presuppositions and precomprehensions in selecting narratives related to the cause of revelation (Asbab al-Nuzul). This study uses library research method that has been discussing the subject with a descriptive-analytical approach. This research shows that in many cases, Wahbah al Zuhaili has been influenced by religious presuppositions and precomprehenstion and has used them to develop his interpretative goals. Keywords: Wahbah al Zuhaili, Tafsir al-Munir, Asbab an-Nuzul

The subject of the present paper was briefly discussed in a former communication. The porometer there described was used to estimate changes in stomatal aperture by observing the variations in the rate of flow of an air current drawn through the stomata of an uninjured leaf under a given pressure. In 3, p. 139, the porometer was compared with Stahl’s cobalt method and my own horn hygroscope. It is superior to both these, which only give indirectly any information about the stomatal aperture. It is true that if the stomata close, e. g. in darkness, the readings of the horn hygroscope diminish, but, since transpiration is diminished by darkness quite apart from stomatal closure, the lower reading of the hygroscope may, indeed must, be partly independent of the closure of the pores. The same objection applies to the cobalt method, valuable though it is. The use of the porometer is in one way superior to Lloyd’s microscopic method, which consists in measuring the stomata in strips of cuticle forcibly removed from the leaf and fixed in absolute alcobol, since the porometer gives information about the living uninjured stomata. On the other hand, it does not tell us the dimensions of the stomata: it only gives variations in the rate of flow of air through these openings, which changes, however, must depend in some way on changes in the stomatal apertures. In our original paper the use of the porometer was illustrated in various ways: the closure of the stomata in darkness and their re-opening in light; the effect of withering, i. e. the preliminary opening of the stomata followed by closure, etc. The problem which forms the subject of the present paper, i. e. the relation between stomata and transpiration, is but briefly illustrated in the paper. Only a single experiment was given to show the parallelism which occurs between the variations in aperture of the stomata and in the rate of transpiration. In the present essay I hope to establish the fact that this parallelism holds good within certain limits. There are, indeed, frequent irregularities in the experiments, as disturbing causes cannot be avoided; but when the general correspondence between the results of a large number of experiments is considered, it seems to me impossible to accept Lloyd’s dictum with regard to stomata—that “their regulatory function is almost nil ." It must in justice be said that he elsewhere modifies this sweeping assertion. He allows (p. 35) that “complete closure of the stomata, if this occurs, reduces transpiration to, or nearly to, cuticular rate.” He also grants that the stomata give the upper limit of transpiration; that is to say, when the stomata are open to their utmost limit the highest rate of transpiration under these conditions is the maximum of which the leaf is capable. Anyone who has been familiar, as I have, with the general parallelism in the curves of transpiration and stomatal aperture in obedience to changing conditions cannot possibly give in to what must be called the illogical position just referred to, that in the intermediate conditions, when the stomata are neither shut nor widely open, the regulation is not chiefly stomatal but depends rather on other factors. I can only suppose that there is some flaw in Mr. Lloyd’s method which has escaped even his careful and conscientious manner of attacking the problem. He gives his readers every chance of estimating the accuracy of his results. The present paper shows the unavoidable uncertainties which attend the subject, and no one can read Mr. Lloyd’s account of the matter without realising the pains he took to get a trustworthy result.

The respective roles of the ribo somes, endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus and perhaps nucleus in the synthesis and maturation of melanosomes is still the subject of some controversy. While the early melanosomes (premelanosomes) have been frequently demonstrated to originate as Golgi vesicles, it is undeniable that these structures can be formed in cells in which Golgi system is not found. This report was prompted by the findings in an essentially amelanotic human cellular blue nevus (melanocytoma) of two distinct lines of melanocytes one of which was devoid of any trace of Golgi apparatus while the other had normal complement of this organelle.
