This study aims to improve students' ability to use software in analyzing Statistics data, especially experimental data with the help of Student Worksheets (LKM). This research was conducted at the Mathematics Study Program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, on students who were taking the Experimental Design course. The design in this study was a one-group pretest-posttest design, by applying Problem Based Learning. The results of the study showed that the majority of students thought that the use of LKM really helped improve students' understanding of the Experimental Design course. This can be seen also from the average posttest score (82.47) which is higher than the average pretest (65.36). The t test also showed that the increase in the mean pretest to posttest was significant with a p value of 0.000 which was smaller than the 5% significance level. This means that the average student posttest score is higher than the average pretest score.

The goal of this study is to assess, with validated instruments, the corollary links between students’ academic results and the nature of their perceptions of their skills and self-esteem. For accomplishing this, we tested it 255 student volunteers with an average age of 21 years (91 female students and 164 male students). We opted for two types of surveys: a questionnaire developed by Duclos, which measures self-esteem in five domains, and a questionnaire on the perception of competence on three domains of training (oral skills, written skills and physical practice skills). Pearson’s correlation coefficient (r) was used to assess the intensity of the relationship between parameters. The data were processed with Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (version 26). The significance level was set at p < 0.05. These three variables combined in the synthesis of the results confirm the initial hypothesis that there is a correlation but only between a few domains of self-esteem, sense of competence and academic results obtained. Indeed, students in this branch of education have a negative perception of their ‘academic’ and ‘physical’ self-esteem when their academic performance is modest or low. On the other hand, the domains of family, social and overall self-esteem are not influenced, despite modest academic achievement. The result is that even though students display a low sense of competence in the face of modest results during training, their self-esteem in the ‘family and social’ domains stays stable with good scores.   Keywords: Academic results, corollary links, gender, perception of competence, self-esteem.

Education holds promise as a vehicle for sustainable global development and human capacity development, as reflected in the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations. International education has become a prominent feature in contemporary times on the educational landscape as students become increasingly mobile in pursuit of their right to education. This study investigates the key factors that motivate international students to undertake better quality education at higher education (university) level, particularly in Europe, and the underlying gender preferences for study destinations within the framework of push-pull factors. The study collected responses of 288 individuals from 84 countries who had undertaken some form of education in Europe through the European Commission-funded Erasmus Mundus (EM) Scholarship. Responses were collected through an online platform, Survey Monkey. Outcomes of the study revealed that Germany, United Kingdom, Sweden, Netherlands, and Spain are the most popular destinations for pursuing higher education in Europe. The United Kingdom is the most preferred destination for female students while Germany is the most preferred destination for male students, with slight changes for other countries. Key motivating factors for international education were found to be scholarship opportunity, better quality of education, and availability of the relevant study program. The least influencing factors were found to be the commonality of language, suitable environment (eg climate, temperature), geographical proximity, the scope of migration, and social cost.

The problem with this research is that the students' low shooting results are caused by their passing and shooting abilities that are still not optimal. This can be seen when students throw and catch, passing the ball often does not reach the given friend, deep passing is the key to the basketball game. The purpose of this study is to examine the significance of different samples with the formulation of the problem posed is to find out whether there is an effect of bench dip training on basketball passing abilities at SMAN 1 Narmada in 2020". The research method for taking subjects in this study is cluster random sampling, which is a sampling technique that selects an area or group as the sample. The samples used were male students who took part in basketball extracurricular with a total of 20 people. To obtain data in this study, the test method and the method of documentation were used. The data analysis method used is the t-test (t-test). The results of the study based on the results of the t-test (t-test) showed the calculated value of the t-test was 26.29, so the significance level was 5% and N was 20, it turned out that the number of rejection of the null hypothesis stated in the table was 2.069. This fact indicates that the value of t arithmetic from the results of data analysis of 26.29 is above the number of rejection of the null hypothesis which is 2.069. (T value = 26.29 > r table 2.069) it can be concluded that "There is an effect of bench dip training on basketball passing skills at SMAN 1 Narmada in 2020.

Background: Spirometry is vital in screening, diagnosing and monitoring of patients in clinical respiratory medicine. The interpretations of these results depend on comparison with reference values derived from a pool of normal healthy population, which are age, weight, height, gender and ethnicity dependant. Objectives: To establish normative data of lung function indices (FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC, PEFR and MVV) of healthy adult persons and to find correlation of these data, if any, with age, height, weight and BMI. Methods: Participants (n=174, mean age 19.60±1.177 yrs, height 161.87±8.572 cm, weight 58.65±11.190 kg and BMI 22.28±3.159 kg/m2) were recruited from KIST medical college. Spriometry was performed and data were grouped according to age, height, weight, BMI and gender. Results: The mean FVC, FEV1, PEFR and MVV of males (3.58 ±0.7241 L, 3.34±0.61L, 8.41±1.20L/sec and 141.45±18.54L/min respectively) were significantly higher than that of females (2.52±0.50L, 2.44±0.44L, 6.72±0.82L/sec and 106.93±12.49L/min respectively). However, FEV1/FVC ratio was statistically similar in males and females. FVC and FEV1 were positively correlated with height and weight in females. PEFR showed correlation with weight and BMI and MVV showed correlation with weight in females. In males, FVC showed positive correlation with height, weight and BMI. FEV1 and MVV showed maximum correlation with height of male students. Conclusions: Significant increased in PFT parameters were observed in male as compare to female. PFT parameters were mainly influenced by body height and weight in both sexes, so on this basis, a prediction equation was established for Nepalese population.
