Halal Branding has become a trend and will continue to grow. Halal Branding is implemented in almost all fields, especially food, medicine, cosmetics, fashion, and even tourism. Muslims use halal Branding as a guarantee of consuming a product to avoid sins. Meanwhile, Halal Branding is used by non-Muslims, one of which is for business and consumption purposes. Halal Branding not only guarantees the product is healthy and safe but also as Islamic religious doctrine. This study aims to determine how much Halal Branding is trying to ground the halal concept as the best concept in the halal lifestyle. Another objective is to observe various approaches in developing Halal Branding so that the existence of Halal Branding as a religious doctrine can become a medium for preaching to all groups, including non-Muslims, so that the acceleration of the development of Islamic da'wah will be more aggressive. This paper is expected to be used as knowledge and development of halal in life aspects to be appropriately implemented. Research results show that halal Branding indirectly into religious doctrine on halal products and become a useful tool of Islamic da'wah.

10066 Background: The disclosure of clinically significant, validated incidental and target findings to participants in genomic research is often recommended. There have been no reports on whether attitudes of parents differ if these findings emerge from an acquired pediatric cancer versus an inherited genetic condition setting. Methods: Parents in 3 large-scale projects [Canadian Pediatric Cancer Genome Consortium (CPCGC), the Finding of Rare Genes Canada Consortium (FORGE) and the Orphan Diseases: identifying Genes and Novel Therapeutics to Enhance Treatment Project (IGNITE)] were surveyed using a mailed, validated 29-item questionnaire. Two reminders were sent. Analysis was by descriptive and Chi-square statistics. Results: Response rate: 64% (n=307/480). 40% were > 50 yrs age; more than half had a grade 12 education. 86 were parents of poor risk pediatric cancer patients and 221 were parents or individuals with rare inherited conditions. Most stated a very strong or strong right to genomic research results, irrespective if from the target condition (97%) or incidental (86%). 70% wish genetic counselling pre- and post-research testing; an additional 20% were uncertain what this entails. Almost all indicated that genomic research for childhood onset conditions should occur, regardless of whether therapy existed (99%) or not (91%). A few indicated that they would not want incidental results showing an untreatable fatal condition (17%). Most want results, even if these suggest susceptibility to multiple conditions (87%) or are of uncertain health impact (84%). Most felt a right to genomic research that showed a serious condition in siblings, whether treatable (94%) or not (89%). 74% strongly support that results discovered after death of the proband be shared with family. Conclusions: Parents of children in both cancer and inherited rare conditions genomic research do not differ in indicating a strong right and desire to receive research results, even if they are of uncertain impact, of childhood onset, or after death of the proband. Clear delineation of what will or will not be offered from genomic research should be established at the time of consent.

Bluetooth technology started off as a wireless, short-range cable replacement technology but it has undergone significant developments over the last two decades. Bluetooth radios are currently embedded in almost all computing devices including personal computers, smart phones, smart watches, and even micro-controllers. For many of us, Bluetooth is an essential technology that we use every day. We provide an insight into the history of Bluetooth and its significant design developments over the last 25 years. We also discuss related issues (including security) and Bluetooth as a driving technology for the Internet of Things (IoT). Finally, we also present recent research results obtained with Bluetooth technology in various application areas.

Does work increase our well-being? A review of research results Does work increase our well-being? A review of research results We review empirical studies about the well-being effects of paid work as activity in comparison with other activities (hedonic well-being), and of being employed in comparison with unemployment, being a housewife and being retired (life satisfaction). The hedonic well-being of work and of work-related social interactions is lower than of almost all other activities and interactions. Nevertheless, employed workers have a much higher life satisfaction than the unemployed and also a higher hedonic well-being during other activities. Housewives’ level of life satisfaction is about equal to the level of the employed, whereas the retired attain an even higher level. Life satisfaction of workers is somewhat lower if they work more hours, especially for women. The effect of income on life satisfaction is small and probably people work more hours than can be justified by the resulting increase of life satisfaction. These findings indicate that aspirations related to work are more important for well-being than the conditions of employment. We interpret the findings in terms of extrinsic and intrinsic life goals and the need for self-determination. We tentatively conclude that work does more positively affect well-being if it does more appeal to intrinsic than to extrinsic aspirations.

Caption Evaluation Method is a technique that was developed in Japan to learn about the reason of evaluation of landscape. The investigative method is a formalized one and can show the element of landscape that a person focused on when he made an evaluation of the landscape, and the reason why he made a good or bad evaluation on it. In the present research, Caption Evaluation Method is applied to the survey of soundscape in urban area. Twenty-one subjects were instructed to walk along the predetermined route, and to take a picture and make evaluation of soundscape when they found out sound that attracted their attention. They rated the sound as good, bad or normal, and they reported the character and impression of it by formalized questionnaire. As a result, one hundred fifty-seven sound elements were obtained. They were classified under the proposed way in the previous research. Results show that traffic noise is assessed bad by almost all the people because of its noisy character, but sound from information display system receives different assessment among people. It is supposed that evaluation of not so noisy sound can be easily affected by the context in a person's mind.

Little is known about the current extent, purpose and organization of research within Canadian hospitals. As hospitals face the challenge of reorganization, such information would seem essential. To explore this issue, the authors surveyed Canadian hospitals with more than 100 beds. The results, reported here, reveal that almost all of responding hospitals had engaged in some form of research in the previous 12 months, although the type and number of research projects tended to vary with the size of hospital and the status of university affiliation. The study also found that most hospitals have resources specifically dedicated to research, conduct ethical reviews and engage in interdisciplinary research. The vast majority of respondents felt that hospital-based research would assume more importance in the future.

Farms and retailers are not always able to preserve the harvest due to the need to build vegetable stores and the difficulty in observing storage technology. Under these conditions, the way out of this situation is the drying of vegetables. The use of drying allows saving all the taste and almost all the vitamins. Under these conditions, Penza State Agrarian University has developed a prototype device for drying crops, allowing for fluidized-bed drying. However, it is necessary to conduct research to improve the drying process of vegetables with a pneumatic-mechanical dryer with justification for its design and technological parameters. The experimental methods were used in the work: modeling, observation, experiment. Experimental studies were carried out in laboratory conditions on the basis of generally accepted methods in accordance with current industry standards, as well as developed private research methods. Processing of the research results was carried out on a PC using standard computer programs Microsoft Excel, Statistica, KOMPAS-3D. As a result, a model of the drying process was obtained and the optimal parameters of the proposed device were determined.

The two processes that, basically since the emergence of the classic civilizations, determine major changes in the basic spatial structures in the world are, de facto, of antipode basic characteristics (globalization and regionalisation), but it is often the case that there are elements with traits of complementarily. They have crucial effect on development and integration of geo-spaces and many research results indicate that, depending of the stage of the development, both processes were present in the geo-space in various forms in almost all the phases of its development and that they have contributed to establishment of all the new spatial-structural relations. The subject of this analyses is, among other issues, a brief genesis of these two processes, including identification of their main starters and effects. Besides from that, there is a special attention paid to the role of the traffic as their basic element and one of the important initiators and its role in those parts of the European continent that are not yet included by these processes of crucial changes of the geo-space as the whole.

Violence due to religious conflict is still becoming one of the problems faced by almost all countries, including Indonesia. Religious doctrine is often understood so narrowly that it imprisons its adherents in religious exclusivism and triggers conflict. In the context of a pluralistic Indonesian society, anticipatory efforts need to be made so that violence in the name of religion can be avoided. One of the efforts is by strengthening the values of pluralism. This article examines the implementation of the values of pluralism among the people of the village of Hanura Pesawaran Lampung while looking for its relevance to the values of pluralism that exist in the Medina Charter. This study is a field research using a qualitative approach. This study is field research using a qualitative approach. Data were obtained by observing, documenting, and interviewing community leaders in the village of Hanura. The results showed that the people of Hanura village had implemented pluralism values well. This can be seen from three indicators, namely: recognition of equal rights and obligations, the existence of social coherence, and community tolerance. These three things are following the values of pluralism in the Medina Charter. In conclusion, the life of Hanura villagers can be used as a model of the implementation of the values of pluralism in society.

It has been established that it is possible to increase the productivity of grasslands on sod-podzolic soil with the introduction of biohumus against the background of irrigation. The optimal variant of the experiment with the introduction of vermicompost at the rate of 8 t/ha. The research results revealed an increase in the content of basic nutrients in the soil by 0.2 … 4 mg/100 g of soil, activation of the cellulose-degrading activity of the soil twice, which was characterized as strong on the Zvyagintsev scale. The content of organic matter in the soil increased to 0.28 t/ha. The plant density increased by 1.5 times, the height – 2 times, the yield of the grass mixture increased on average to almost 5 t/ha, the quality of products improved, which corresponded to the zootechnical norm in almost all parameters. The cost of production amounted to 2.04 rubles/kg, conditionally net income – 3.64 rubles. In the summer of 2019, the research results passed the first year of approbation at Igor VyacheslavovichBelousov LLC on an area of 1.5 hectares. The yield was 4.8 t/ha of dry matter, which is 31% higher than the control option – traditional technology.
