Dualism is a specific quality of approximation principle. The present research featured the potential of approximation principle for linguadidactics, namely to what degree it can be used to teach Russian as a foreign language and perform correction work in class. The research objective was to assess the efficiency of this principle. The study was based on the method of observation. The article introduces analyses of scientific linguadidactic literature and some typical situations of educational process. The author separates correction work from speech activity, i.e. talking, writing, and reading. The author believes that speech mistakes must be corrected immediately, involving the student in the correction process. Graphic facilities should be used to illustrate the norm. Therefore, in practical linguadidactics, approximation principle should be minimal. Yet, approximation is impossible to avoid in the abovementioned types of speech activity, which hints at the dualism of this principle. Therefore, all errors must be corrected using graphic means, if possible, by both the teacher and the student. Students should be encouraged to participate in the correction process, while the teacher maintains supervisory control.

The article is devoted to the analysis of modern approaches to the organization of the educational process, which would contribute to the formation of a category of lawyers with the necessary knowledge and are capable of preparing and implementing reforms in the political and legal system of their state. It is determined that modern legal education poses its own requirements to the applicant, namely to be a comprehensively developed, independent, self-sufficient person, guided in life by his own knowledge and beliefs, in this regard, the issue of professional training of a modern lawyer, which could withstand modern challenges, becomes especially relevant. It is noted that the training of the future lawyer should be aimed at forming a versatile specialist (lawyer), ready to fulfill a complex set of modern practical tasks for the legal protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of a person and citizen. On this basis, the training of future lawyers should take into account modern approaches to the educational process. The most important of them are analyzed on the example of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (hereinafter - NULES of Ukraine). First, the quality of specialists’ training substantially depends on quality of teaching subject matters which is defined by providing applicants with the corresponding training material (modern qualitative textbooks, manuals, study guides, didactic materials, etc.). And most importantly - the use of computer technology, electronic educational resources, with the help of which the interaction of the sphere of higher education with other spheres of life of society is ensured. Of course, modern ICTs increase the efficiency of the educational process, open the possibility of introducing completely new methods of teaching and learning. However, the implications of the growing importance of ICT in general, and the Internet in particular, should also be taken into account. The use of modern ICTs has become an integral part of the educational process of NULES of Ukraine during the Covid-19 pandemic. Secondly, taking into account modern trends in the field of education, the training of future lawyers should not ignore one of the most important indicators of the quality of higher legal education - the use of a foreign language in the educational process, in particular English. In particular, the NULES of Ukraine provides teaching in English of certain legal disciplines for applicants for higher education of the first (bachelor's) level. Thirdly, the training of a lawyer should be not only theoretical, but also practical. Practical training of a lawyer involves work during practical classes, internships in enterprises, institutions and organizations, self-training by independently performing certain tasks. However, it is worth highlighting another form of practical component of the training of future lawyers - these are legal clinics. To date, such a form of specialists’ practical training in the field of law has been effectively introduced into the educational process of higher educational institutions of Ukraine of the III-IV levels of accreditation. NULES of Ukraine is no exception. The Legal Clinic «Protection and Justice» operates on the basis of the Department of International Law and Comparative Law. It is proved that the quality of specialists’ training in the field of law depends on many factors (the use of modern ICT in the educational process, electronic educational resources, the possibilities of foreign languages in teaching legal disciplines, etc.). However, to a large extent, the quality of training depends on the practical component of the educational process, and therefore special attention should be paid to this component. Keywords: legal education, a lawyer, modern approaches, educational process, lawyers’ training, distance education, foreign language, legal clinic

In this article, methodological principles and discourse are investigated within the framework of an interdisciplinary pragmasynergetic approach. We are talking about the process of self-organization of educational-pedagogical discourse, the formation of its structure and shaping of the electronic courses as means of optimizing the educational process in order to create conditions for quality teaching. This approach is also important because at present there is the problem of preserving the quality of knowledge while implementing intensive electronic methods of mastering foreign language communication skills. In response to the needs of modern society, a new scientific paradigm is being formed. In particular, in linguistics and linguodidactics, the direction is developing that studies the problems of language, text, discourse combining it with the ideas of synergetics – the theory of self-organization of complex systems. The postulates of pragmalinguistics largely correspond to synergetic principles and indicate the need to integrate these sciences. The significance of the article lies in the fact that the pragmasynergetic interpretation of educational-pedagogical discourse contributes to the development of the study of the structure of discourse as an integral dynamic system.

The article focuses on ways to intensify the educational activities of students, to increase their motivation and the quality of knowledge obtained during the study of lexical units of a foreign language using game technologies. The article substantiates the effectiveness of gamification as a new way of organizing training, which has a huge pedagogical potential. It is proved that the use of tools for various games in the educational process increases the probability of achieving the goal, because using game practices, gamification does not turn reality into a game, but gives students game settings that correspond to reality to achieve professional tasks in the context of reality. The authors present a method of using a modern scenario for organizing students' play activities on any topic. It includes components for using game techniques in the classroom – word search, memory game, bingo, and crossword puzzle. Skills of using such techniques help students in the process of learning a foreign language, motivating students to independent creative work and solving problems within the framework of gamification, accompanying the entire educational cycle. Gamification helps to replace external motivation with internal motivation. By modeling certain behavior of students, the teacher increases their integration without their awareness of this fact. Unconscious involvement activates involuntary attention, which is the most effective means of assimilating up to 90 % of information. Active methods encourage students to become the main participants in the educational process. And teamwork when performing a task with gamification elements becomes an important factor in the development of emotional contact between all participants. To help the teacher should come modern educational platforms, where the teacher will adjust their material to the level of training and motivation of students.

The article considers the issues of continuity in foreign language teaching in the process of continuing professional education in the system «school» – «university». The essence of continuity as a didactic principle is clarified and its components have been determined. The task of continuity in the content of teaching a foreign (English) language to students of non-language specialties of universities and the factors that complicate its implementation are outlined. The importance of adhering to this principle for optimizing the educational process at all levels and stages of learning is emphasized. The importance of adhering to the principle of continuity in the transition from school to university education system is emphasized. It is shown that continuity in foreign language learning covers all components of the learning process and is complex. Some technologies for ensuring the continuity of foreign language learning are proposed, which helps to improve the quality of language training for future professionals. The authors state that the concept of continuity is actively used in the national educational space as a designation of one of the prerequisites for optimizing the study of English at the stage of transition from the school stage to the system of higher education. The essence of continuity as a pedagogical principle is that at each higher stage of education in determining the content of education takes into account everything that was learned at earlier stages. It is stated that one of the technologies to ensure the implementation of the principle of continuity directly in the educational process is the use of a leveling course, the possibilities of which to improve the knowledge of freshmen and eliminate the possible gap between the starting level of English and the requirements of the university program were demonstrated.
