This study aims to determine how much effective problem-solving methods are in the third semester of English learning outcomes in the Hospitality Study Program, Tourism Department, Bali State Polytechnic during the Covid-19 pandemic. The background in this study is the lack of student enjoyment in English, inappropriate learning strategies, and the lack of developing student creativity in the learning process. This type of research is quantitative research. Data collection techniques using observation, tests, and documentation. Participants consisted of 60 (29 male and 31 female) third-semester students of the Diploma 3 Program, Hospitality, Bali State Polytechnic, 2020/2021 academic year. The data were collected through a classroom action-based research procedure starting from planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Through the quasi-experimental design, the collected data were analyzed using paired t-tests and mixed design ANCOVA to identify any significant improvement after the administration of the action. Furthermore, the qualitative data were analyzed based on the results of observations during the giving of the action and the results of the questionnaire.

This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes between students who take the Civics with cooperative learning strategies and investigations group of students who take lessons with conventional teaching model in class VI students of SD Negeri 2 Datah, Abang, Karangasem academic year 2016/2017.This research is a quasi experimental study . The study populationwas all students of class XI of  SD Negeri 2 Datah Karangasem academic year 2016/2017 , amounting to 115 people . The study sample is a class VI student of  SD N 2 Datah which were 25 students of class VI. Data on students' learning outcomes Civics obtained through a written test conducted at the end of the lesson . The data obtained were then collected and analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics (test ).Based on the analysis of data , obtained thit = 13.20 and ttab ( at significance level of 5 % ) = 2.00. Obtained average (x) count , the experimental group was 26.9 and the control group was 16.73 . This means that the experimental > control , so it can be concluded that the model of learning group investigastion  affect learning outcomes Civics class VI students of  SD N 2 Datah regency of Karangasem

The purpose of this study is to obtain descriptive information about the problems and problem solving in learning listening comprehension. The researcher uses descriptive qualitative research and investigates the students’ problems in listening comprehension at the fourth semester and the steps to overcome their problems. There are 23 students at the fourth semester of English Education Study Program Peradaban University in the academic year 2018/2019 as the sample. In collecting the data, the researcher uses questionnaire and interview as the instruments.The researcher finds the most problems faced by the fourth studentsare lack of concentration, native speaker speaking speed, unfamiliar words, and lack of effort to understand each word.The solution offeredto solve those problems are focus and concentrate while listening class, concentrate on what is heard, and write things that are important when listening to material spoken by native speaker; find the meanings of unfamiliar words, look at the dictionary to find out difficult words, check words that are not clearly heard in dictionary, memorize vocabulary, and read English text and listen to English audio; and familiarize the students with the rulers of pronunciation in order to help them hear the different forms of rapid natural speech and ask them to imitate native speakers’ pronunciation. It concludes that learning information about the problems and problem solving at the fourth semester are because of the fact that their learning outcomes are still far from being standard. Therefore, problem solving in listening comprehension learning is expected to minimize the problems faced by students of the fourth semester of English Education Study Program Peradaban University in learning process so that they get satisfying learning outcomes.

The aim of this research was to find out the strategies used by the English Education Study Program students in learning speaking skill. It was designed as a descriptive quantitative research.  The  population  was  240  students  of  English  Education  Study  Program  of Universitas Bengkulu in the 2016/2017academic year. The samples were 60 students, taken from 25% of the total population. The data were collected by using a set of questionnai re. There  were  30  statements  of  speaking  learning  strategies  which  consisted  of  three categories of learning strategies proposed by O’Malley and Chamot (1990). They were metacognitive strategy, cognitive strategy, and social affective strategy.The instrument of this research was adapted from Liao and Chiang (2004).The result of this study showed students of English Education Study Program preferred to use all category of that learning strategy. In addition, the most frequently used strategy group by the students was social affective strategy (M=2.67).

This study aims to: 1) know that the ability of students to understand the concepts taught by the Cooperative Script Strategy is more influential than to be taught with the Problem Based Learning Strategy; 2) knowing that students' mathematical problem solving abilities taught by Cooperative Script Strategies are more influential than being taught with Problem Based Learning Strategies; 3) knowing that the ability of understanding concepts and mathematical problem solving taught by Cooperative Script Strategies is more influential than being taught with Problem Based Learning Strategies. 4) knowing the interaction between learning strategies on the ability to understand concepts and students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This research is a type of quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach. The population is all students of class XI IPA of SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Pura T.P 2018-2019 consisting of 3 classes and totaling 104 students will be selected 2 classes as the experimental class and the control class that are sampled in this study. The test instrument used by using a test in the form of description. Data analysis was performed using Two Path Analysis of Variance (ANAVA). The results of these findings indicate: 1) The ability to understand the concepts of students taught with the Cooperative Script Strategy is more influential than taught with the Problem Based Learning Strategy; 2) The mathematical problem solving ability of students taught with Cooperative Script Strategies is no more influential than students taught with Problem Based Learning Strategies; 3) The ability to understand concepts and mathematical problem solving students who are taught with Cooperative Script Strategy is more influential than taught with Problem Based Learning Strategies; 4) There is an interaction between learning strategies with the ability to understand concepts and solve students' mathematical problems.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui hasil belajar akuntansi siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan pembelajaran ekspositori, (2) Mengetahui hasil belajar Akuntansi siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir logis tinggi dan berpikir logis rendah, dan (3) Mengetahui interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan kemampuan berpikir logis siswa terhadap hasil belalajar Akuntansi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah 102 orang yang berasal dari tiga kelas yaitu kelas XI (sebelas) IPS SMA Negeri 3 Medan, sedangkan sampel seluruhnya 67 orang yang terdiri dari dua kelas dengan menggunakan cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian menuunjukkan bahwa; (1) hasil belajar Akuntansi siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah lebih tinggi daripada hasil belajar Akuntansi siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori. (2) hasil belajar Akuntansi siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir logis tinggi lebih tinggi daripada hasil belajar Akuntansi siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir logis rendah. dan (3) terdapat interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan kemampuan berpikir logis siswa dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar Akuntansi. Kata Kunci: strategi pembelajaran, berbasis masalah, berpikir logis, akuntansi  Abstract: This study aims to: (1) Know the accounting learning outcomes of students taught with problem-based learning strategies and expository learning, (2) Know the accounting learning outcomes of students who have high logical thinking ability and low logical thinking, and (3) Know the interaction between learning strategies and students' logical thinking abilities towards the results of Accounting learning. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The study population was 102 people from three classes, namely class XI (eleven) IPS SMA Negeri 3 Medan, while a total sample of 67 people consisting of two classes using cluster random sampling. The research results show that; (1) Accounting learning outcomes of students taught with problem-based learning strategies are higher than accounting learning outcomes of students taught with expository learning strategies. (2) Accounting learning outcomes of students who have high logical thinking ability are higher than accounting learning outcomes of students with low logical thinking ability. and (3) there is an interaction between learning strategies and students' logical thinking abilities in influencing accounting learning outcomes. Keywords: learning strategies, problem based, logical thinking, accounting

This study aims to (1) find out whether the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students who are taught by realistic mathematics learning were higher than those students who were taught using conventional learning; (2) knowing students' learning attitudes towards realistic mathematics learning approaches. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a quantitative approach. This research was conducted in class VII of the Junior High School 28 Medan 2017/2018 Academic Year where the population of this study was all class VII. Samples from this study were class VII-G as the experimental class and class VII-F as the control class. Based on the results of the analysis of calculations, the following data are obtained: (1) the results of analysis of realistic mathematical learning on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities using the t-test found that ttable = 1.68 and tcount = 3.6821 so tcount> ttable then concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha be accepted. The mathematical problem-solving abilities of students who are taught by realistic mathematics learning was higher than conventional learning. (2) student responses were very positive towards realistic mathematics learning with an average of ≥ 86.03.

This study aims to determine learning outcomes and the scientific attitudes of students at physics education study programs using virtual lab. This type of research is quantitative research. It uses descriptive statistical analysis and inferential stattistics to illustrate data learning outcomes and the scientific attitudes of students at physics education study Universitas Flores using the virtual lab. Data collection techniques used in this study were test for learning outcomes and observatory techniques for the scientific attitude. From the results of descriptive analysis for learning outcomes, it shows that the average is 75,05 in the enough category. The results of inferential statistics show t count is 2,770, sig(2-tailed) 0,011. Because the sig(2-tailed) value of 0,011 is smaller than 0,05, thus it can be concluded that use of the virtual lab influences the learning outcomes. For the scientific attitudes it shows that the average is 76,14 in the enough category. The results of inferential statistics show t count is 3,875, sig(2-tailed) 0,001. Because the sig(2-tailed) value of 0,001 is smaller than 0,05, thus it can be concluded that use of the virtual lab influences the scientific attitudes of students at physics education study Universitas Flores.Keywords: Virtual Lab, Learning Outcomes, Scientific AttitudePenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar dan sikap ilmiah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan fisika Universitas Flores dengan menggunakan virtual laboratorium. Dari hasil analisis deskriptif untuk hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa adalah 75,05 dalam kategori cukup, sedangkan hasil statistik inferensial menunjukkan nilai t hitung 2,770, sig(2-tailed) 0,011. Karena nilai sig(2-tailed) 0,011 lebih kecil dari 0,05 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan virtual laboratorium berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar fisika mahasiswa program studi pendidikan fisika Universitas Flores. Untuk sikap ilmiah berdasarkan analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata 76,14 dalam kategori cukup, sedangkan hasil statistik inferensial menunjukkan nilai t hitung 3,875, sig(2-tailed) 0,001. Students are an active part that plays a role in the learning process. Cooperative learning trains students to be able to work together and responsibly independently. This research was quasi-experimental research with posttest-only control design. The sample of this research was the students of Diploma III Nursing STIKes Bina Sehat PPNI Mojokerto at the level I of academic year 2017/2018. The research data was obtained from the result of the final examination of the students in the basic biomedical course. The data were analyzed using independent sample t-test. The result of the independent sample t-test is 0.00 is less than 0.05. The conclusion of these results is that there are differences in basic biomedical learning outcomes in the control class and experimental class. Average learning outcomes control class 60,17 and experimental class 73,94. These results suggest that jigsaw type cooperative learning can improve student learning outcomes in basic biomedical courses.

Pendidikan merupakan suatu usaha yang mencetak seseorang menjadi generasi yang berkualitas dan memiliki daya saing. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktivitas dan hasil belajar PPKn siswa kelas VII MTs Hidayatullah Mataram tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 melalui model pembelajaran Probing prompting. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, jumlah subyek penelitian sebanyak 23 siswa. Prosedur penelitian terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu: tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap pengamatan dan tahap refleksi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni pengamatan, tes, non tes dan dokumentasi. Jenis data yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian adalah kuantitatif  yang berupa perhitungan nilai rata-rata, jumlah, maupun presentase dari hasil belajar. dan kualitatif  yaitu hasil pengamatan  yang berpedoman pada lembar pengamatan aktivitas siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan hasil analisis data yang dilakukan, maka dapat menarik disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan ketuntasan klasikal siswa yaitu sebesar 80%. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran Probing prompting dapat meningkatkan aktivitas  dan hasil belajar siswa PPKn kelas VII di Mts Hidayatullah Mataram, guru disarankan untuk menggunakan metode maupun model pembelajaran yang menarik minat dan perhatian siswa dalam belajar kemudian dari kekurangan selama proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model Probing prompting diharapkan untuk diperbaiki lagi.Education is a business that prints someone into a generation of quality and competitiveness. The purpose of this study was to determine the activities and learning outcomes of PPKn VII graders of MTs Hidayatullah Mataram in the 2017/2018 academic year through the Probing prompting learning model. This type of research is classroom action research, the number of research subjects is 23 students. The research procedure consists of four stages, namely: the planning stage, the implementation phase, the observation stage and the reflection stage. Data collection methods used are observation, tests, non-tests and documentation. The type of data used in the study is quantitative in the form of calculating the average value, number, and percentage of learning outcomes. and qualitative, namely the results of observations guided by student activity observation sheets. Based on the results of the research and the results of the data analysis carried out, it can be interesting to conclude that there was an increase in the classical completeness of students which was equal to 80%. So it can be concluded that the implementation of the Probing prompting learning model can improve the activities and learning outcomes of class VII PPKn students at Hidayatullah Mts Mataram, teachers are advised to use learning methods and models that attract students' interest and attention in learning later from deficiencies during the learning process using the Probing model prompting is expected to be fixed again.

The aim of this study is to compare the learning outcomes of student in SMA Negeri 8 Palu using the cooperative learning model between jigsaw and NHT (numbered head together) on the stoichiometry. This research using a quasi-experimental design with factorial 2 x 2. The population of this study is all student of class X SMA 8 Palu with academic year 2015/2016 which consists of four classes. The sample of this study consists of two classes, namely class XB with amount of 16 students (experimental class) and class XC with amount of 17 students (control class) which was determined by purposive sampling. Data was collected by using test instruments, namely an achievement test that contains the stoichiometry material. The examination of data was conducted by using statistical analysis t-test two sides and one side (right side) non-parametric or Mann-Whitney U test. The average score of the learning outcomes of student by using the jigsaw type was (78.00; SD = 13.63), and by using NHT type was (70.47; SD = 16.51). Based on statistical analysis of the hypothesis test for two sides, it was obtained a value of 0.195 Asymp sig (2-tailed) and was obtained a value 0.204 Exact Sig (1-tailed) of 0.204, both of datas were at the rejection area of H0 which was a significance value greater than 0.05 (P> 0.05). Therefore, it can be concluded that there was a difference in learning outcomes using the cooperative model jigsaw type with NHT type, furthermore the type of jigsaw better than the NHT on the learning outcomes of students of stoichiometry in class X SMA Negeri 8 Palu.
