As an important indicator to measure the degree of general social affluence and economic development in a country or region, peasant income has become an important focus of rural development under the new era rural revitalization strategy. The issue of farmers’ income is the core and key to the issue of “agriculture, rural areas and farmers”. Under the rural revitalization strategy, the traditional rural areas have undergone tremendous changes, and the wages of farmers’ wages, operating income, and transfer income are insufficient. Farmers’ continued income growth is facing enormous challenges. In the face of difficulties, the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed that “the second round of land contracting will be extended for another 30 years”. It can be seen that the party and the state have profoundly recognized the importance of peasant income for increasing farmers’ income.

Accurate poverty alleviation has become an important task in implementing the rural revitalization strategy. Since the 19th CPC National Congress, Chinese government institutions have been striving to take measures to lift poor rural areas out of poverty. This essay takes Tailai district as the blueprint to start the research on precision poverty alleviation, explores and discusses the construction of beautiful villages, proposes strategies for sustainable development, makes people change concepts to coordinate the relationship between interests and concepts. It also points out the target that using the industry as a guide, using technology to alleviate poverty and make the village vibrant. Therefore, the endogenous power will be derived from the roots, and the agriculture, farmer and rural area will be fed back, in order to provide a reference for the Construction of Beautiful Villages in Heilongjiang.

At present, our country has entered a new era. The report of the 19th National Congress of CPC pointed out that we must always put the top priority of the Party’s work on solving the problem of agriculture, rural areas and farmers. The safety of rural water supply safety is the direct and realistic interest-related problem that the rural masses most concern. In the new era, we should further strengthen the safety work of rural water supply, gradually promote the integration of urban and rural water supply, and effectively solve the increasingly serious safety-related demand of water supply of villagers and the contradiction caused by uneven and insufficient development of urban and rural water supply. Binxian County is located in the water shortage area in the west of China. The management model of "urbanizing rural water supply" that the county explored to establish has effectively solved the problem about the construction, operation and maintenance of rural water supply project. It accords with the development idea of rural water supply in the new era, and its successful experience can be duplicated and popularized in Shaanxi Province and even in the whole country.

The rural revitalization strategy is the main strategy proposed by the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The Central Rural Work Conference held at the end of 2020 emphasized that after the comprehensive victory in the fight against poverty, the focus of China’s work on the “three rural areas” had shifted historically, i.e., to comprehensively promote Rural revitalisation. The study of the comprehensive promotion of rural revitalization in the new development stage is of great theoretical value and practical significance to the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country. The state has put forward new requirements of revitalization and construction of rural areas from top to bottom. This article briefly analyzes the problems faced by rural revival based on the perspective of ecological civilization. It takes Qiaoshi Town as an example to explain the main methods of promoting rural regeneration from the perspective of ecological civilization. I hope this article’s research content can bring certain value and enlightenment to the activation of rural ecosystems in various places.

Financial inclusion is a powerful push to realize the strategy of rural revitalization which is the “compass” of the work of agriculture, rural areas and farmers in the new era. The Strategy of Promoting Rural Revitalization by Financial Inclusion has been practiced in some areas, but there is a lack of the effect of practice and the summary of successful modes in academic researches. In this paper, taking Yueqing, Zhejiang Province, the pioneer of financial inclusion, as an example, the “Yueqing mode” of financial inclusion promoting rural revitalization was discussed based on the grounded theory, and factor analysis and multiple linear regression were further used from the perspective of residents' subjective perception to test the actual effect of “Yueqing mode”. The results show that financial inclusion can actively promote the implementation of rural revitalization strategy, which is mainly reflected in the improvement of the living environment and quality of life.

Implementing the strategy of revitalizing the countryside is a major decision-making arrangement made by the Chinese government, and it is the general leader of the work of "agriculture, rural areas and farmers" in the new era. This article aims at rural tourism under the background of urban-rural coordination and rural revitalization. Taking Yuanjia Village's rural tourism as an example, it summarizes the basic practices of rural tourism development in Yuanjia Village. Based on the practical experience of rural tourism development in Yuanjia Village, it proposes the development of rural tourism. The overall idea is that the successful mechanism of Yuanjia Village's development of rural tourism lies in: Cohesion and courage are the primary prerequisites for the development of rural tourism; integrating resources and creating characteristics are the basic conditions for the development of rural tourism; sharing benefits and co-governance is rural Fundamental guarantee for tourism development; integration of cultural tourism and cultural people is the inner soul of rural tourism development.

Culture is the core element of local civilization, and its “embedded” characteristics and value are an important resources for the construction of local civilization. In the new era, the social environment in rural areas has undergone structural changes, and it is difficult to solve the public, organization and participation of the construction of rural customs and civilization to resolve themselves, and the root cause lies in the lack or absence of culture. Under the background of rural revitalization, through the integration of multiple cultural embedding into the rural social structure system, it plays an irreplaceable role in standardizing the rural order and building a rural community, and can inject new elements and new momentum into the construction of rural civilization. Based on this, taking “embeddings” as the theoretical framework and analysis tool, analyzed the internal logic of cultural embedding, and combined with the practice of rural civilization construction, discussed the feasibility of cultural embedding as rural civilization construction in Zhejiang Huzhou.

New-type urbanization and rural revitalization have gradually become national strategies, and are an objective requirement for China to be able to enter into a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics and also an inevitable result of the integration of new-type urbanization and rural development in the new stage. This paper reviews the classic theories and cognition of the research on urban–rural relations at home and abroad, and outlines the stage evolution characteristics of urban–rural relations in China. It is believed that urban-biased urbanization has widened the development gap between urban and rural areas since reform and opening up. Under the guidance of the two strategies of new-type urbanization and rural revitalization, urban and rural areas have transitioned from “one-way flow” to “bilateral interaction”, and from “urban bias” to “urban–rural integration”. This paper puts forward a research framework and scientific issues regarding the integration of new-type urbanization and rural revitalization from multidisciplinary perspectives. The integration of these two major strategies will contribute to a new situation of the coordinated and high-quality development of urban and rural areas in the new era.

How to stimulate technological change to enhance agricultural productivity and reduce poverty remains an area of vigorous debate. In the face of heterogeneity among farm households and rural areas, one proposition is to offer potential users a ‘basket of options’ – a range of agricultural technologies from which potential users may select the ones that are best suited to their specific circumstances. While the idea of a basket of options is now generally accepted, it has attracted little critical attention. In this paper, we reflect on outstanding questions: the appropriate dimensions of a basket, its contents and how they are identified, and how a basket might be presented. We conceive a basket of options in terms of its depth (number of options related to a problem or opportunity) and breadth (the number of different problems or opportunities addressed). The dimensions of a basket should reflect the framing of the problem or opportunity at hand and the objective in offering the basket. We recognise that increasing the number of options leads to a trade-off by decreasing the fraction of those options that are relevant to an individual user. Farmers might try out, adapt or use one or more of the options in a basket, possibly leading to a process of technological change. We emphasise that the selection (or not) of specific options from the basket, and potential adaptation of the options, provide important opportunities for learning. Baskets of options can therefore be understood as important boundary concepts that invite critical engagement, comparison and discussion. Significant knowledge gaps remain, however, about the best ways to present the basket and to guide potential users to select the options that are most relevant to them.

Background. The use of mobile applications in dermatology to support remote diagnosis is gaining acceptance, particularly in rural areas, where dermatology services are commonly managed by healthcare personnel with no specialty training. Moreover, ontologies—sets of concepts that represent knowledge in a given domain—are increasingly being used to support medical diagnosis. A specific case is ONTODerm: an ontology to aid dermatological diagnosis. However, there is little information on the combined use of mobile applications and ontologies as support solutions in dermatology. Objective. Assessing the reliability of ONTODerm as a tool to support remote dermatological diagnosis when used together with a mobile dermatological application in underprivileged areas. Methods. A mobile application that allows characterization of skin lesions was developed, and the information about the lesions was sent to ONTODerm. An exploratory study was conducted in a remote area without access to a dermatologist. A total of 64 dermatological queries were recorded in the application and consulted with ONTODerm. Later, an experienced dermatologist evaluated the characterization and diagnosis of each query to determine the accuracy of the system. Results. The results showed that the probability of obtaining a correct diagnosis was between 64.4% and 85.6% with a confidence interval of 95%. A higher accuracy rate was obtained when the skin lesion occurred on the face or when its border was categorized as poorly demarcated. Conclusions. This study demonstrates the implementation of a teledermatology strategy based on mobile applications and domain ontology-driven knowledge base to provide timely assistance to healthcare professionals. This approach was found to be pertinent in the Colombian rural context, particularly in forest regions, where dermatology specialists are not available. The results of this article do not represent a final validation of the proposed approach; they suggest how the ontology can be improved to effectively support medical staff in marginalized regions.
