The development of sports medicine and rehabilitation with the great involvement of techniques and modern technology have increased the needs and possibilities for quick diagnosis and more adequate treatment. Regular companions of sports activities are sport injuries of various parts of the body, depending on the type and conditions in which sport activity is performed. In this paper, we analyzed knee injuries because they are the most dominant. The knee, which is the largest, the most complex and the most stressed joint, is most exposed to injuries. We analyzed 124 respondents who were treated in the Ribarska Banja, by physical and balneological treatment, during the period 2005-2006. Anamnestic data, as the most common cause of injury, include insufficient training, insufficient physical preparedness, rough start of an opponent or uneven terrain. The knee joint is the most commonly injured region in athletes, and because of the complexity of the joint itself, these injuries are very complicated. Balneal treatment showed positive effects on healing and accelerated return to the field. Balneo Climatic Treatment is always accompanied with certain methods of physical therapy and rehabilitation, and all of them together can accelerate healing. The successful return to the field depends on the applied therapeutic methods and on an early beginning  of therapeutic treatment.

Introduction. The study of molecular hydrogen as the latest therapeutic and prophylactic corrector of metabolism has been successfully tested on more than 170 models of pathological conditions. Its effective antioxidant, cytoprotective, anti-inflammatory effect on the body has been proven. Separate studies of the effects of molecular hydrogen have been conducted on athletes. The aim of the study - to investigate the level of research and efficiency of using molecular hydrogen in sports medicine and to predict the algorithm of its further research and practical use. Research Methods: Analysis, generalization of data of professional scientific literature for researching the effect of molecular hydrogen in physical culture and sports and identify opportunities and criteria for its use for athletes and physically active people Results. An analytical study based on the results of professional publications about the effective use of molecular hydrogen for athletes in the world was conducted. The advantages and disadvantages of using molecular hydrogen for the organism are reasoned. Ways and methods of entry of molecular hydrogen into the body are described. Inventions of molecular hydrogen generators of Ukrainian scientists, their advantages over foreign analogues and possibilities of their application in sports are shown. Conclusions. Today in view of the analysis of the situation with the use of molecular hydrogen for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes in medicine and sports medicine in particular, the algorithm of prospects for its further research and practical application follows. Firstly, to study the optimal protocol for the intake of molecular hydrogen, depending on the intensity of physical activity, body weight, age, sex, comorbidities, etc.; secondly, to develop personalized antioxidant strategies for the using molecular hydrogen, taking into account the individual redox characteristics of individuals; thirdly, to investigate the consequences of long-term intake of H2 during exercise; fourthly, to reveal the alternative mechanism underlying the antioxidant action and other positive effects of molecular hydrogen. Abstract Advertising helps to establish a set of assumptions that the consumer will bring to all other aspects of their engagement with a given brand. Advertising provides tangible evidence of the financial credibility and competitive presence of an organization. Persuasion is becoming more important in advertising. In marketing, persuasive advertising acts to establish wants/motivations and beliefs/attitudes by helping to formulate a conception of the brand as being one which people like those in the target audience would or should prefer. Considering the changes in lifestyle and eating habits of a significant part of the population in urban areas in Romania, the paper aims to analyse how brands manage to differentiate themselves from competitors, to reposition themselves on the market and influence consumers, meeting their increasingly varied needs. Food brands on the Romanian market are trying, lately, to identify new methods of differentiation and new benefits for their buyers. Given that more and more consumers are becoming increasingly concerned about what they eat and the products’ health effects, brands struggle to highlight the fact that their products offer real benefits for the body. The advertisements have become more diversified and underline the positive effects, from the health and well - being point of view, that those foods offer (no additives and preservatives, use of natural ingredients, various vitamins and minerals or the fact that they are dietary). Advertising messages’ diversification is obvious on the Romanian market, in the context of an increasing concern of the population for the growing level of information of some major consumer segments.

ABSTRACT. Introduction. Regular physical activity has positive effects on human body composition, even if not combined with a diet. For many people this activity aims to reduce the amount of fat in some areas of the body and targets body shaping. Objectives. The main objective of this study was to learn about the effects of a 12-months regular participation in aerobic training exercises. Methods. This study was voluntarily attended by 89 women with an average age of 31.62, practicing aerobic exercises in gyms, three times a week for a period of 12 months. We carried out anthropometric measurements of subjects at the beginning and at end of the study, respectively, and data was statistically analysed using the SPSS 23.0 software. Results. Data collected was statistically processed, showing that participation in physical training led to reducing body weight by 4.81 kg, decrease of adipose tissue - between the two moments there was a difference of 5 % - fat mass decreased by 4.26 kg, and lean body mass by 0.55 kg. Significant decrease in chest, waist and hip circumference was also noticed. Conclusions. Regular participation in physical training programs involving aerobic exercise for 12 months has had the effect of reducing body weight and the amount of fat in some areas of the body, materialized by decreasing the value of the circumference of the chest, waist and hips, with the intention of reaching the ideal body weight and aiming for body shaping.

Purpose The increase in enrolment into higher education and the inadequate student housing in educational institutions has led to the growth of off-campus private student housing in Nigeria. Studentification as a research area has received attention in most countries in the global North, whereas there is dearth of studies on studentification in Nigeria. Therefore, this paper aims to examine the effects of studentification on the residents of selected Nigerian communities. Design/methodology/approach The study adopted an exploratory research strategy. Semi-structured interviews were conducted to gather qualitative data from respondents, who were landlords and indigenous tenants of the host communities of two tertiary institutions. The data collected were analysed by means of the thematic analysis technique. Findings It became evident that studentification has some effects on the communities. Significant positive effects are business patronage and liveliness, while socio-economic-related factors, which include indecent clothing and theft, were noted as the most significant negative factors. Practical implications Implementing the outcomes of this study will contribute to promoting societal ethical values and economic prosperity of the communities. Originality/value The paper contributes to building the body of knowledge on the effect of studentification in the Nigerian context.

This article provides a new perspective on sustainable marketing strategies in the context of a globalized clothing and textile (C&T) sector in Zimbabwe by linking two diverse streams of literature, namely, globalization and marketing strategy. A quantitative approach was adopted to obtain data from 127 respondents using a two-stage cluster sample. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) confirmed three of four hypothesized relationships, namely that integrated co-alliances, modern technology and national policy impact the sustainability of clothing and textile sector in Zimbabwe. The adoption of a standardized marketing strategy characterized by uniform application of the marketing mix elements with minor modifications will have a significant impact on the capacity of the C&T sector to withstand the adverse effects of globalization. The research extends the body of existing knowledge on marketing strategy in the context of globalization of Zimbabwe’s C&T sector, and argues empirically for a new approach to developing and implementing competitive marketing strategies. The research findings will enable companies in the C&T sector of a developing economy to craft competitive marketing strategies, which incorporate internal company capabilities and technology, and also recognize the role of national policy in the globalization discourse.

The influence of ground irregularities on the behavior of a wheeled mobile robot (WMR) navigating on uneven surfaces is addressed. The paper studies the vibratory movements induced on the body of the WMR, in order to analyze its ability for carrying out on-board tasks, and on the accuracy of the data collected by its external sensorial systems. The adhesion capability of the wheels of the WMR on this uneven terrain is also studied, since it conditions the braking, traction and steering performance. The method is applied to the WMR RAM.

In the article the results of the design and analysis of mathematical model for determining residual stresses in the surface of layer at parts processed by plastic surface deformation (PSD) in which the rollers having an arbitrary shape and size. It is shown that for the calculation of stresses in the surface of layer it should not be defined by them at a forcing point but by a function of contact stresses. Integral equations are obtained for calculating the stresses in the body parts at the processing of PSD rolls of arbitrary size and shape of the stress distribution over the contact area. We found that the tangential and radial residual stresses depend on the magnitude of the force F and its distance from the point at which the voltage is considered in detail. There is a sharp decrease in the influence of forces on the stress in the surface of the part of the distance to the point in question.The calculated data generated by the proposed method are highly matches with data during the experimental investigations. Maximum deviations of the calculated values do not exceed the errors of the experiments and adequate treatment of each other at a significance level of 0.05.

Aim: Life has changed very fast during last 10 years. The adaptation of sedentary life, changes of eating habbits and other negative environmental factors consisted of reactive oxygen species in the human body and causing immunity to weaken. The prevelance of chronic dieases are increased caused by this reason. To take precautions against increasing diseases and to stop their progress, too much medication usage has been observed. People who don’t want to use medicine, started to use natural herbal products. Herbals are essentials for life and diseases. Herbals have different and comlex compounds which can be a cure for a diease. It has been possible to benefit the body mechanism and diseases with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antifibrotic effects. Thistle is one of the major herbal that is used for both as a cure and a nutrient. Its nutritional value and the bioactive compounds are important for a human life. Method: Current studies reviewed to explain thistles with its nutritional value, bioactive compounds and effects on diseases. Result: The thistle has important role as a component of medicines and also the natural form itself has a huge nutritional value for health. Consclusion: thistle have a beneficial effect on human body to be treated naturally, and its benefits are focused on noncommunicable diseases. Treatment of most chronic diseases, they had the advantages to stop their healing, protection and progression against diseases. Many studies have had positive effects. however, more studies should be done.

Various dance techniques and performances have different effects on the biomechanics of the body and may lead to different injury profiles. Few studies have analyzed the risk of injury associated with particular types of dance, especially in adolescents when accelerated growth compounds the risk of injury. Ninety-six female dancers with international competitive dance experience from four Balkan European countries were selected from a population of 347 adolescent dancers for this study. Their average age was 13.8 yrs (range, 12 to 16). The subjects were divided into four groups according to their dance styles: cheerleading, dance show, disco dance, and standard and Latin dance. The first aim of the study was to identify differences between the various dance style groups in body mass index (BMI) and dance sport involvement. According to Wilks' test (oneway MANOVA), there was a significant multivariate effect (F = 13.8; p < 0.001) between the four dance groups. The dancers belonging to the disco group started systematic training earlier than the other dancers, the standard and Latin dancers practiced the most intensively, and the show dancers had considerably lower BMI than the disco dancers. The second aim of the study was to define the pain status in 14 body regions for dancers in the various dance styles by monitoring their pain status with the SEFIP questionnaire. The most common locations for pain were the calves (43.7%), knees (32.7%), and ankles (27.2%). According to the χ2 test, cheerleading dancers reported a significantly higher frequency of knee injuries, and standard and Latin dancers reported a significantly higher frequency of toe injuries. The specific way in which some dance disciplines are practiced and their dance techniques do induce characteristic injuries.

ABSTRACT Introduction: Aerobic exercise has begun to be widely recognized as a reasonable means of preventing fat and losing weight. Scholars have confirmed that sports can help the human body lose weight and lose fat. Objective: This article measures the exercise performance indicators of subjects in different body fat percentage groups and studies the relationship between body fat percentage and exercise performance indicators. Methods: The study uses experimental methods to determine the percentage of body fat of the subjects. After physical exercise and aerobic exercise, the volunteers were tested for aerobic capacity indicators. Results: The body fat percentage of physically inactive persons was negatively correlated with aerobic and anaerobic exercise capacity indexes. Conclusion: The mechanism of aerobic exercise in weight loss treatment has the effect of promoting lipolysis and regulating blood lipid metabolism. At the same time, it has a significant influence on the number and activity of fat cells. Level of evidence II; Therapeutic studies - investigation of treatment results.
