Among the commands of the Koran to Muslims is to become the people as the people of ideal. The concept of race is ideal from the perspective of the Koran is a thesis titles raised by researchers because it can be conditioned to the morals or behavior everyday at the present time. While the Qur'an has told Muslims to be the ideal race mid race. Is meant here is the same as khayra people or race the best. Position itself in the middle, is not inclined to the world nor in the Hereafter. Muslims as the best race to be able to realize himself against all the people in this world. Ummah is mentioned in the Qur'an with the form lafadz people wasatan, khayra people, muqtasid people, and people wahidah. The characteristics of an ideal community in the perspective of the Koran that is faith in God, carrying out commanding the good and forbidding the evil, to be fair, it is no exaggeration in religion, and maintaining kinship.

Food and feast are integral and key components of human cultures across the world. Feasts associated with religious rituals have special social and cultural significance when compared to those in any other festivities or celebrations in people’s life. In this study, an approach is made to comparatively analyze the feasts at religious festivals of two distinctive groups of people, one with a characteristic of simple society and the other of a complex society. The annual feast happening at the hamlets of the Anchunadu Vellalar community in the last days of the calendar year is an occasion that portrays the egalitarian nature of the people. While this feast is restricted within a single community of particular caste affiliation and geographical limitations, the feast associated with the kaliyattam ritual of village goddess in North Malabar is much wider in scope and participation. The enormous feast brings the people in a larger area and exhibits a solidarity that cuts across boundaries of religion, caste and community. Beyond the factors of social solidarity and togetherness, these events also illustrate its divisive characters mainly in terms of social hierarchy and gender. A comparative study of both the two feasts of two different contexts reveals the characteristic features of religious feasts and the value of food and feast in social life and solidarity and also how it acts as a survival of their past and as a tradition.

Spirituality and a new religious awakening, are seen by religious elites as a stage of religious directness in carrying out religious traditions and rituals. New civilizations can instead be a threat to conventional religious traditions and rituals. Without the willingness of religious elites to criticize and re-interpret conventional ritual traditions and patterns, the functions of the world's major religions could fade. The world's major religions are increasingly alienated from the objective world and awareness of the lives of the people and their people. It seems that there will be a new form of religion or a new religion that is completely different from the tradition of religious rituals that have been carried out by the major religions of the world. While the religious elite is still attached to classical religious interpretations. But on the other hand, the emergence of modern society, encouraging the argument of secularization is part of modernization. The values underlying socio-political and economic relations also appear to be beginning to enter an irregular stage, when viewed conventionally, the spiritulitas of global civilization, rather than lies in the format of values, traditional systems and structures or modern rationality. New civilizations in social systems and Science and Technology (SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY) began to be directed at a more intuitive spirituality stage. Then came the act of social piety that proved impartiality over the duafa wal mustad'afin, workers and the poor who were oppressed by the economic system. The emergence of the term left theology only wants to explain about righteousness and belief based on the ability to perform acts of liberation of the proletariat. This action is not only done after the reality of the proletariat appears, but creates a social and economic system that has impartiality towards the proletariat. Keywords: Spirituality, Secularization, Social Piety

This chapter talks about the eschatological connotation of the Son of Man established in Daniel, which came to light with particular clarity in the pseudepigraphic Fourth Book of Ezra. It originated after 70 CE, or more precisely around 100 CE, and is significant in its context because it refers back to the idea of the Son of Man in Daniel 7. It focuses on the line, “like the figure of a man” that is undoubtedly the same as “like a human being” in Daniel 7, although the man mentioned does not come with the clouds of heaven but at first comes up from the depths of the sea and then flies on the clouds of heaven. In contrast to Daniel, the man is not brought to God to receive dominion but instead fights for this dominion and brings final redemption to the people of Israel. With the man's appearance, a multitude gathered from the four corners of the world in order to “make war against the man who came up out of the sea.”

The role of higher education is crucial in a world that seems torn apart by cultural, economic, political and social differences, and yet is, at the same time, ever more closely drawn together by technology, travel, social and economic needs. Higher education offers no panacea for the disunity of this complex and confusing world. It should, however, contribute to a kind of understanding that spans the differences among the people of the world, or at least those within one country. In this connection liberal arts education is today in jeopardy, unsure of its competence to serve the ideal of humanitas that at one time was conceded to be both the stable ground and the ever elusive goal of higher education.

It needs that the ruler culture must have high values to admit others to follow it. If we have an analytical study of various cultures, we can find that there were many cultures that tried to dominate the entire world but due to many faults in them, they were not accepted by human being. The destination that Allah created human being is to whorship to Allah as an instruction and explanation about whorship. Then Allah sent down his Qur’an and delivered his Prophet as conveyars of the role of the Allah and the lost Kitab that has been sent down to Muhammad SAW as the instruction and figure for the moslems people untill the end of time. The meeting among Islam and Christian and Jew has been running since the birth of Islam in Jazeera. The first century of Masehi, in tht meeting the holy Qur’an is a holy book for moslems took its possision as the corrector for the holy books before. Especially the holy book that has been brought by christians, it’s called Al Kitab. The problems about Ahlu Kitab (Jew and Christian) are very important to be explained, because these problems impact to our aqidah, whorship, relationship many kinds of aspect of life for moslems, beside that the meaning of Ahlu Kitab who is Ahlu Kitab is still cuarreled by ulama, especially still cuarreted by ulama, that this kitab is only for Jew and Christian or there is still group out of them that include in them. Sayyid Qutb is controversi Mufassir among moslems and far ikhwaanul Muslimin. Sayyid Qutb is a figure that was loved by Moslems and as an inspirator for them but in another way the thought of Sayyid Qutb was given comment by ulama’ because of trouble understanding the verse of Holy Qur’an, and some deviation in his aqidah, especially about takfir to the people that have different understanding. After his death Sayyid Qutb’s ideology doesn’t lose away and decrease, in other hand it develope more not only in Egypt but spread to all of countries in the world, finally fondamentalist movement appeared. So that the writter wanted to analyze about the Ahlu Kitab  depended on Sayyid Qutb’s book, called Tafsir fie dhilail Qur’an to be applied in Indonesia. The research method that used by the writter is analysist description with library research, this research about Sayyid Quthb’s thought which spreaded in many creation of writting that written became the book that written by someone or many other people. Ahlu Kitab depended on Sayyid Quthb are Jew and Christian generally, the meaning of that statement Sayyid Quthb didn’t limit only for Israel scion (Ya’kub) but all of people who have ideologist as Jew and Christian ideologist, so that they are called Jew and Christian. Depended on Sayyid Quthb, Ahlu Kitab are infiedels politheist. Including people that have religion except Ahlu Kitab and the religions except Islam was still considered as infidel untill they believed in Muhammad and Al Qur’an. The research of this thesis is still about describing generally so that it still needs analysis deeply and in detail. In order to make new knowledge that can be guide for moslem in communication among them and not moslems.

Abstract This essay starts off with a modern-day court jester (Nobel laureate Dario Fo) praising a Pope (Albino Luciani, who became John Paul I). Fo presents us with an historic moment: Luciani scandalises his Church by calling God “Mother.” With utmost seriousness, Fo appreciates the Pope’s kindness and warmth by which the artist perceives a way of scandalising the world out of complacency. In their idealised and situated presentations of the world, the sacred and the profane return the necessary to the contingent (and vice-versa) as moments of equal attention and distraction. Likewise, irony and satire mark our situated sense of the ideal by an inability to unlearn the certainties by which we are urged to construct our world. This is done by first presenting a situated pedagogical context that refuses to provide solutions presumed on measurement, certainty or finality. Secondly this begins to lay claim to the political, aesthetic and moral values that are gained through art’s ironic disposition. Thirdly, through our contingent states of being we begin to understand how education is culturally conditioned and why we need to shift it to another gear – that of unlearning through a weak pedagogy. An atheist, Fo suggests that thanks to Pope Luciani, we now could endear to the Holy Spirit as a spirito ridens, a spirit that laughs. Here one finds a kenotic sense that gives us a glimpse in how an ironic disposition owes its strength and effectiveness to a weak pedagogy. By dint of such weakness, the jester’s pedagogical disposition becomes a form of resistance, exiting the Court in order to be with the people and consequently transformed by the people.

Humans will be able to live perfectly when they live together with other humans, in relation to other humans, certain norms or rules are needed. In the regulation, one of them was written about the procedure for honoring guests called Athiti Krama. Athiti Krama gives motivation in human life because through this human being can foster good relations between humans one with other human beings in harmony. The implementation of Athiti Krama can be found in societies everywhere in the world, both in the advanced society and the people who are still modest in their civilization.<br /> In social life, everyone should behave well so as to create happiness for themselves and the community, because in the teachings of Hinduism, Athiti Krama teachings are basically contained which can bring people to achieve harmony in social order in society.
