For more than a hundred years many works of the classics of Crimean Tatar literature of the early XX century have remained inaccessible to their contemporaries. One of such authors is Abdulhakim Aji Arif oglu Khilmiy (1884–1962). The article is devoted to the scientific development of the writer of the period 1914-1917. The sources were both: newspaper and archival materials related to this period. Also involved are the published works of Khilmiy`s contemporaries. As an example, is cited a small work by the author of “Revolutionary excitement” (“Inkilyabiy asabiyetler”), published in 1917 and unknown to modern researches. Transliteration of the text from the Arabic script is accompanied by glossaries of rare Arab-Persian borrowings in the Crimean Tatar language.

To readers attention is offered a small fragment from the message of the Mufti of Crimea Musallaf Efendi, which provides brief data of the state of vakuf property of Muslim religious sites for 1785–1786 , prepared by the Qadies (Judges) of 5 kaymakans of the Crimean Khanate: Bakhchisarai, Kezlev, Kefe, Akmesjit and Or-Kapu. The message of Mufti Efendi is presented in Arabic script in the Crimean Tatar language. Part of the message, translated from the Arabic script into Cyrilic alphabet, includes a list of recorded vakuf property belonging at that time to Bakhchisarai: the political and administrative center of the Crimean Khanate. The given information makes it possible to establish the number and names of administrative units of the city–mahalla, the variety and location of the vakuf property, recorded not only within the city limits, but also outside it. The message also contains data on the funds, allocated to the minister of the city`s Muslim religious buildings.

This article gives a brief overview of the life and creative heritage of the figure of Crimean Tatar literature and enlightenment of the early XX century Yahya-Naji Bayburtlu (1876-1943). The author introduces into the scientific discourse the poorly studied biographical and bibliographic archival materials, which include the prewar literary and historiographical texts transliterated from the Arabic script to the Roman script. The article also employs the reminiscences of the relatives and contemporaries of Y. N. Baiburtlu that have been published in modern national press and give a better perspective of the creative path and environment of Y. N. Baiburtlu: the newspaper article of the writer's daughter Niyara Baiburtlu, autobiographical texts of the prominent Crimean Tatar publicistic writer Shamil Alyadinov. The methodological framework is comprised of the biographical, comparative-typological, and meta-critical analysis. The theoretical framework is based on the works of Arslan Krichinsky, Cemil Kermenchikli, Ismail Kerimov, Dmitry Ursu, Natalia Yablonovskaya, Mukhiddin Khairuddinov, Enisa Abibullayeva. Therefore, the overview of the life and literary-enlightenment activity of Y. N. Baiburtlu reveals his creative personality, outlines the prospects for the aspectual research of his biography as a writer and playwright, translator of literary works, public figure, and enlightener of his time. The author believes that the examination of the versatile literary-pedagogical heritage may significantly enrich the scientific representations of the traditions, factors of development and formation of the Crimean Tatar literary elite of the prewar period in Crimea.

Настоящая статья является попыткой научного исследования вопросов функционирования элементов грамматической системы старотатарского письменного литературного языка начала ХХ века. В работе выявлены и проанализированы грамматические формы, участвующие в реализации желательного наклонения глаголов, функционирующих в текстах органов татароязычной арабографической периодической печати межреволюционного периода 1905-1917 гг.Научное изучение текстов периодической печати рассматриваемого периода является актуальным, так как именно в текстах газет и журналов, наряду с текстами художественных произведений, происходило развитие старотатарского письменного литературного языка и его дальнейшее преобразование в национальный язык татарского народа.В качестве фактического материала были использованы морфологические показатели, зафиксированные в текстах газет «Борхане таракки» и «Кояш». В ходе исследования текстов газет нами был применены методы лингвистического описания, генетического отождествления установленных фактов, а также методы сравнительно-исторического и сравнительно-сопоставительного анализа.В результате исследования мы обнаружили, что в изученных текстах для реализации желательного наклонения употребляется ряд синтетических и аналитических форм. Наиболее употребительной является синтетическая форма на -aj, -yj. В текстах газеты «Борхане таракки», в отличие от текстов газеты «Кояш», реализация первого лица множественного числа желательного наклонения происходит посредством традиционной общетюркской грамматической формы на -lym/-lem. This article examines the functioning of the grammatical system of the Old Tatar written literary language of the beginning of the 20th century. The article identifies and analyzes the grammatical forms involved in the implementation of the Optative Mood of the verbs that function in the texts of the Tatar-language Arabic script periodical press of 1905-1917.The scientific study of the texts of the periodical press is relevant. In the texts of newspapers and magazines, along with the literary texts, there was a development of the Old Tatar written literary language and its transformation into the national language of the Tatars.Morphological indicators recorded in the texts of the newspapers “Borkhane Tarakki” and “Koyash” were used as factual material. During the scientific development, the author applied the methods of linguistic description, genetic identification of facts, the methods of comparative and comparative historical analysis.As a result of the research, the author has identified that a number of synthetic and analytical forms of the Optative Mood are used in the studied texts. The most common is the synthetic -aj, -yj form. In the texts of the “Borkhane Tarakki”, in contrast to the texts of the “Koyash”, the traditional general- Turkic grammatical -lym/-lem form is used.

The article is devoted to the study of inscriptions on the gravestones of Haji Ibrahim al-Uradi, his father, brothers and other relatives. The information revealed during the translation of these inscriptions allows one to date important events from the history of Highland Dagestan. Also we can reconsider the look at some important events from the past of Hidatl. Epitaphs are interesting in and of themselves, as historical and cultural monuments that needed to be studied and attributed. Research of epigraphy data monuments clarifies periodization medieval epitaphs mountain Dagestan using record templates and features of the Arabic script. We see the study of medieval epigraphy as one of the important tasks of contemporary Caucasian studies facing Dagestani researchers. Given the relatively weak illumination of the picture of events of that period in historical sources, comprehensive work in this direction can fill gaps in our knowledge of the medieval history of Dagestan. In addition, these epigraphs are of great importance for researchers of onomastics, linguistics, the history of culture and religion of Dagestan. The authors managed to clarify the date of death of Ibrahim-Haji al-Uradi, as well as his two sons. These data, the attraction of written sources and legends allowed the reconstruction of the events of the second half of the 18th century. For example, because of the epidemic of plague and the death of most of the population of Hidatl, this society noticeably weakened and could no longer maintain its influence on Akhvakh. The attraction of memorable records allowed us to specify the dates of the Ibrahim-Haji pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina, as well as the route through which he traveled to these cities.

Focusing on the lithographic print revolution in North India, this article analyses the role played by scribes working in Perso-Arabic script in the consolidation of late nineteenth-century vernacular literary cultures. In South Asia, the rise of lithographic printing for Perso-Arabic script languages and the slow shift from classical Persian to vernacular Urdu as a literary register took place roughly contemporaneously. This article interrogates the positionality of scribes within these transitions. Because print in North India relied on lithography, not movable type, scribes remained an important part of book production on the Indian subcontinent through the early twentieth century. It analyses the education and models of employment of late nineteenth-century scribes. New scribal classes emerged during the transition to print and vernacular literary culture, in part due to the intervention of lithographic publishers into scribal education. The patronage of Urdu-language scribal manuals by lithographic printers reveals that scribal education in Urdu was directly informed by the demands of the print economy. Ultimately, using an analysis of scribal manuals, the article contributes to our knowledge of the social positioning of book producers in South Asia and demonstrates the vitality of certain practices associated with manuscript culture in the era of print.

The Malay people made Arabic as the medium of instruction in the form of writing by the Malay community. The use of this script is known as Malay Arabic script by adding some Arabic letters by adjusting the sound with Malay language. The first stage of this writing as a communication in trade between the people of Indonesia with Arab traders, then the writers use it as script writing in Malay language. This writing continues to use it as the medium of instruction in Islamic education and teaching to the public. Then the scientists and scholars use it as well as writing characters in writing religious books such as fiqh, tafseer, hadith and tarekat and other writings. After that Malay Arabic script has become a national script of Malay society, including in Indonesia. The Malay Arabic script was used as a newspaper and magazine literature until the arrival of Europeans to the archipelago. Slowly after that Malay Arabic script is no longer used as a national writing script by Malays society including Indonesia.

This paper attempts to analyze the development of integrative science at two Islamic universities, namely UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta and UIN Malang. The changes are not just ordinary administrative changes, but based on the epistemological basis of integrated scientific development between science and Islam. The changing of IAIN Sunan Kalijaga and STAIN Malang also showed a new relationship between science (general sciences) and Islam, which requiresmutual relations, mutual dialogue, mutual reinforcement to solve the problems of postmodern human life. The purpose of this relation is to create the graduates who are capable of competing in the postmodern world that increasingly sophisticated and advanced science and technology, in addition, the value of religionbased morality is not abandoned, so they become the holistic human being. Tulisan ini mencoba menganalisis pengembangan keilmuan integratif pada dua universitas Islam negeri, yaitu UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta dan UIN Malang. Perubahan keduanya bukanlah hanya perubahan administrasi biasa, tapi didasari oleh basis epistemologi pengembangan keilmuan terintegrasi antara sains dan Islam. Perubahan IAIN Sunan Kalijaga dan STAIN Malang juga menunjukkan adanya relasi baru antara sains (ilmu-ilmu umum) dan Islam, yaitu relasi saling membutuhkan, saling berdialog, saling menguatkan untuk menyelesaikan problema kehidupan manusia postmodern ini. Tujuan relasi ini untuk mewujudkan lulusan yang mampu bersaing di dunia postmodern yang semakin canggih dan maju ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologinya, selain itu nilai moralitas yang berbasis agama tidak ditinggalkan, sehingga menjadi manusia yang utuh.

La formación inicial del profesor de la Educación Técnica y Profesional (ETP), debe estar en correspondenciacon la integración del conocimiento científico, el acelerado desarrollo de la ciencia y la tecnologíay las exigencias en la formación de las nuevas generaciones. Esta investigación aborda la problemáticaplanteada en la formación de profesores para la Carrera de Informática y asume como problemacientífico: “¿Cómo contribuir al desarrollo de una cultura científica como base para una participaciónciudadana responsable, en la formación inicial del profesor para la ETP en la Carrera Informática?”. La metodología utilizada constituye una integración de métodos teóricos y empíricos, lo que permitióla elaboración de la propuesta. Se trabajan y sustentan los antecedentes teóricos y metodológicos delproceso de formación inicial del profesor para la Educación Técnica y Profesional. Finalmente, se brindan los resultados de la aplicación de la consulta a expertos como comprobación teórica del mismo ysu aplicación parcial en la práctica. El fundamento teórico y las relaciones sistemáticas que se establecenentre los componentes, constituyen el principal aporte teórico y novedad de la investigación.   Palabras Clave: participación ciudadana, cultura científica, formación inicial, educación técnica y profesional.   ABSTRACT   The basic formation of teachers in Technical and Professional Education (TPE) must be in correspondencewith the integration of scientific development, the accelerated development of science and technology, and the educational demands of the new generations.  This research addresses the stated problem in the formation of teachers for the Informatics Career and assumes the scientific problem: How to contribute to thedevelopment of a scientific culture as the basis of a responsible citizen participation, in the initial formation of the ETP teacher in the Informatics Career? The methodology used integrates both theoretical and empiricalmethods which helped to build up this proposal.  Historical and methodological background of the formation process are worked out and supported.  Finally, results of the application of expert consulting as averification in theory and practice.
