This article aims to explore the meaning behind the tradition of bersih desain the Kalisoro, Tawangmangu, Karanganyar, Central Java. Bersih desais indeed widely practiced in various regions in Java. However, there are unique things happening in this Tawangmangu area. apart from being a place famous for its tourist base, the people in it are indeed made up of various beliefs. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach that describes the results of interviews and field observations. The results of this study show that the activities of bersih desa, there is a mondhosiotradition which on one side presents offerings to the spirit of the local village, but on the other hand there is an Islamicnuance that appears there. Islamic nuances are indicated by votive expressions, and other symbols such as alms and good wishes. This shows that the mondhosiotradition has existed for experienced acculturation with the times and exceeded their Javanese beliefs. This study becomes interesting to do and become one of the legacies of local wisdom as part of the rich diversity of Indonesian society.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji perbandingan kepercayaan masyarakat Talagadi Majalengka dan masyarakat Nagoya di Jepang. Kepercayaan yang dimaksud dalampenelitian ini adalah kepercayaan yang berhubungan dengan tabu atau pamali dankepercayaan yang berhubungan dengan keberuntungan pada kedua masyarakat tersebut.Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut digunakan metode deskripstif kualitatif. Dalam memupudata digunakan metode lapangan karena peneliti terjun langsung ke masyarakat. Disamping itu, digunakan pula metode survey melalui penyebaran daftar kuesioner. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk kepercayaan yang berhubungan dengan tabu ataupamali pada masyarakat Talaga dan Nagoya meliputi kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh manusia.Adapun kepercayaan yang berhubungan dengan keberuntungan pada kedua masyarakattersebut berkaitan dengan binatang, benda, dan kegiatan manusia. Sampai saat ini baikmasyarakat Talaga maupun Nagoya masih memegang teguh kepercayaan tersebut.Kata kunci: kepercayaan, Talaga, Nagoya, deskriptif kualitatif, komparasi budaya.AbstractThe aim of this research is to review the comparison of belief between the society ofTalaga in Majalengka and the society of Nagoya in Japan. The intended belief on this study isthe one related with a taboo or pamali, and the belief correlated to luck on both societies. Inachieving the goal, this research uses a descriptive qualitative method. To get the data, thewriter uses a field method that he (/she) directly involves with the people. On the other hand,the writer also uses a survey method by distributing questioners. The result shows that the beliefcorrelated with the taboo or pamali of Talaga and Nagoya societies covers the activities doneby human. Also with the belief related to luck of both societies corresponds to animals, things,and human’s activities. Until now, either Talaga society or Nagoya’s still keeps those beliefs.Keyword: belief, Talaga, Nagoya, descriptive qualitative, cultural comparison.

The purpose of this research is to examine how the existence and participation of the community in maintaining the Syawalan Tradition in Bungo Village, Wedung Subdistrict, Demak Regency, especially in the present era. This research was conducted using a qualitative research type with a descriptive qualitative approach. The implementation of this research was carried out using several methods such as field observations, interviews with local traditional leaders and documentation. The final results of the study indicate that the existence of the Syawalan Tradition in Bungo Village, Wedung Subdistrict, Demak Regency is still preserved until now. Evidence of Syawalan's existence can be seen from the public interest and participation in the implementation of the Syawalan Tradition. The community's participation in maintaining the Syawalan tradition is proven by the people who are full of enthusiasm and volunteer to bring their marine products in an effort to preserve this tradition passed down from generation to generation. One of them is by continuing to routinely carry out the Syawalan tradition and further develop it into the tourism and economy sectors without losing the identity and philosophy of the Syawalan tradition. The process of explaining the 'Gorampe' into the sea became an interesting session because it was the highlight of the Syawalan Tradition.

<p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p><strong></strong><br />In the teachings of Islam the sources of the Qur’an and the Hadith are basically no rules governing the building of the Mosque other than the terms of the place that can be used in performing the Prayer, but on the other hand many Mosques are adaptive in the form of ornaments. as well as local value systems. The form of ornament that is a decorative<br />element of a building is often directly related to the times and culture of the community. In terms of the ornament of the Mosque does not escape the Islamic law that is found in the Hadith and the Quran. This is the focus of this study. The method used is a descriptive qualitative beginning of the field. The results show that the shape of the ornament in the Dian Al Mahri Mosque is no indication of the animal ornament, so the ornamentation of the Mosque is acceptable to Muslims especially in Jakarta and its surroundings.<br /><br /><strong>Abstrak </strong></p><p><strong></strong>Di dalam ajaran agama Islam yang bersumberkan Al Qur’an dan Hadist pada dasarnya tidak terdapat aturan yang secara langsung mengatur mengenai bangunan Masjid selain syarat-syarat tempat yang dapat dipakai dalam melaksanakan Sholat, namun di sisi lain banyak Masjid yang bersifat adaptif dengan memasukkan bentuk ornamen serta sistem nilai setempat (lokal). Bentuk ornamen yang merupakan elemen dekorasi pada suatu bangunan sering kali berkaitan langsung dengan zaman dan budaya masyarakat. Dalam hal ornamen pada Masjid tidak lepas dari hukum Islam yang tertuang dalam Hadis dan Al Quran. Hal demikianlah yang menjadi pusat perhatian dalam penelitian ini.<br />Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif yang dimulai dari lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk ornamen pada bangunan Masjid Dian Al Mahri tidak terdapat indikasi yang menunjukkan ornamen binatang, sehingga ornamentasi pada Masjid tersebut dapat diterima oleh umat muslim terutama di Jakarta dan sekitarnya.<br /><br /></p>

This study to analyze and describe the educational values of characters contained in java textbooks of elementary school of curriculum DIY. This research expected to produce the findings on any character education in accodance with the guide lines of character education and culture of the ministry of National Education and Culture. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative approach in order to describe the educational values of characters cntained in Java textbooks of Elementary School of Curriculum DIY the published by Erlangga, Tiga Serangkai, and Yudistira. Based on research that has been done is produced findings that not all the values of character education according to the guidelines of character education and culture of the Ministry of National Education and Culture totaling eighteen value of character education, contained in the Java language textbook published by Yudistira, Erlangga, and the Tiga Serangkai. Therefore, researchers gave suggestions to the author of textbooks, in order to pay more attention to the contents of the content of a book he wrote. Especially in terms of integrating the values of education. then for teachers, to be more selective in choosing books that will be used to teach. On the other hand, teachers should know and understand the values of character education contained in the book uses.Keywords: character, textbooks, javanesse language

The attitude opposing Pancasila on one hand rests upon the Qur’an as the legal basis for the people and on the other hand is a consistently hot discourse. The foregoing makes it essential to study the relevance of Pancasila and the Qur’an. The researchers examine the Qur’anic viewpoint on Pancasila by examining its relevance to the values of Pancasila’s points. This library research is descriptive qualitative. The researchers use the maudhu'iy tafsir approach in elaborating Qur’anic verses to see their compatibility with Pancasila. Maudhu'iy's interpretation begins by collecting verses related to the problem, analyzing their meanings so that they come to a conclusion. From the research, it can be understood that Pancasila and the Qur’an have the same intentions and meaning relationships. In principle, Pancasila is the Islamic teaching in the Qur’an. This conclusion is indicated by the 45 points of Pancasila’s values in that all of which have relevant meanings to the Qur’an

<p><em>Ciputat Market is a regional scale traditional market in South Tangerang. In 2002, the construction of shopping centers and modern shops began to grow slowly in the area of South Tangerang. The operation of shopping centers and modern shops are getting closer and outreach to the people, on the one hand it has made it easier for people to buy goods of daily needs, but on the other hand it can impact the development of the traditional market, because consumers have many choices places to shop. The problem of this study was about the changing of consumers shopping preference that can effect the development of Ciputat Market. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of consumers shopping preferences towards the development of Ciputat Market in South Tangerang. The method used in this research is deductive with descriptive explanative technique analysis. While the data obtained is the result of field observations, questionnaires, and document research. The results of this study shows the preferences of consumer shopping in South Tangerang bases on the location of shopping vebues indicated a tendency to shop in other shopping venues rather than Ciputat market, while the development of the range of services markets tend to stagnate.</em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords: </em></strong><em>shopping preferences, development of traditional markets</em></p>

Bahasa adalah sarana untuk melakukan kontak sosial dengan orang lain. Pilihan kata yang baik dan tepat akan memperlancar terjadinya komunikasi. Begitu pula dengan penggunaan sapaan dalam berkomunikasi. Sapaan yang digunakan penyapa merupakan gambaran hubungan dengan pesapanya. Sapaan yang digunakan oleh masyarakat kepada pemimpinnya akan mencerminkan hubungan antara masyarakat dan pimpinannya atau sebaliknya. Penelitian ini mengkaji sapaan dalam rubrik “Lapor Gan!” di Harian Tribun Jateng. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsi sapaan yang digunakan oleh masyarakat dan Gubernur Jawa Tengah, Ganjar Pranowo, serta tujuan penggunaan sapaan tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan teori sosiolinguistik dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Sapaan yang digunakan oleh masyarakat untuk menyapa gubernurnya adalah sapaan nama diri, nama kekerabatan, nama jabatan, sapaan lainnya, dan gabungan dari sapaan tersebut. Sapaan yang digunakan oleh masyarakat untuk menyapa diri sendiri, yaitu kata ganti orang pertama tunggal dan jamak. Sapaan yang digunakan oleh Gubernur Jawa Tengah kepada masyarakat adalah sapaan kata ganti orang kedua tunggal dan sapaan kata ganti orang pertama jamak. Sapaan yang digunakan oleh gubernur untuk menyapa diri sendiri adalah kata ganti orang pertama tunggal dan sapaan kata ganti orang pertama jamak. Adapun tujuan penggunaan sapaan tersebut adalah untuk kepraktisan, mengormati mitra tutur, menciptakan keakraban, dan menarik perhatian mitra tutur.   Language is a media to get contact with other people. The good and appropriate choice of words would make the communication runs well. The use of pronouns also plays an important role in communication. It pictures the relationship between the speaker and the hearer. The pronouns used by the people to their leader refl ect their relationship and vice versa. The research studies the pronouns in Lapor Gan! rubric in Tribun Jateng daily newspaper. It aims to describe the pronouns used by the people and the Governor of Central Java Province, Ganjar Pranowo, as well as its purposes. The research uses sociolinguistic theory and descriptive-qualitative approach. The pronouns used by the people to address the governor are self pronoun, kinship, occupation, other pronouns, and mix between the pronouns. The pronouns used by the people to address themselves are the fi rst person singular and fi rst person plural. The pronouns used by the Governor of Central Java Province to his people are second person singular and fi rst person plural. The pronouns used by the Governor to address himself are fi rst person singular and fi rst person plural. The purposes of the pronouns are to create practicality, to honor, to create the familiarity, and to draw attention.

The practice of mudharabah financing in the management of cow mawah that occurs in the Damar Condong village community is the capital provided by shahibul maal in the form of goods (cows). Then the cow is given to mudharib. Mudarib is responsible for the care of the cows given to him. The results obtained from raising cattle are divided equally, namely 50:50. But when the cow is lost, the risk is fully borne by the mudharib, Shahibul Maal insists on giving the responsibility without exception. The formulation of the problem in this study are: 1. What is the Mechanism of Mawah Sapi in Damar Condong Village? 2. What is the Mawah Sapi Mechanism in Damar Condong Village in Reviewing the Mudharabah Financing Concept? The objectives of this study are: 1. To determine the mechanism of Mawah Sapi in Damar Condong Village. 2. To find out the Mawah Sapi Mechanism in Damar Condong Village in the Review of the Mudharabah Financing Concept. This research is a field research that uses a normative-qualitative approach. A normative procedure is a research that has a legal object, whether law as a science or dogmatic or legal rules relating to the attitudes and lives of citizens. On the other hand, qualitative research is used as a research study procedure to create descriptive information in the form of written or spoken words from people or behaviors that are observed directly in the field. The results of the research on mudharabah mawah cattle financing conducted by the people of Damar Condong Village did not work properly or did not comply with the mudharabah financing rules. First, the capital provided is in the form of goods because there is no element of trust and full willingness when the capital provided is in the form of cash, secondly, the mudharib is obliged to fully compensate if the cow that was offered to him is lost, even though the loss of the cow is not the negligence of the mudharib. The policy made by Shahibul Maal in Damar Condong Village also violates the fatwa of DSN-MUI 07/DSN-MUI/IV/2000 concerning Mudharabah Financing, that is, Shahibul Maal is obliged to bear the risk if the loss of the item is not due to mudharib's negligence.

The history of the Bible implies that the Torah has been formed and distorted over time. The Qur'an also confirms this issue. The Holy Qur'an, in addition to introducing the Jews as the People of the Book, uses the word "Torah" eighteen times, "which is a collection of divine teachings bestowed on Prophet Moses." On the one hand, the Holy Qur'an acknowledges and affirms it, and on the other hand, it attributes distortion to this book and introduces the Torah as one of the books that has been distorted throughout history, however, the holy Qur’an considers the part of the Torah that has been preserved to contain the teachings of God and can be acknowledged in general, and considers it a means of guiding the Jewish people and advises them to refer to it. The collection of information in this writing is library-based and their processing is descriptive-analytical. This article seeks to prove the view that the current Torah, with its various versions, has been disappeared in the ups and downs of the times, and that what exists is a very blurred and inconsistent face of the original version, and the Holy Qur'an confirms this.
