Simulation and digital communication subjects at SMKN 1 Singkarak do not have support other than text books and modules. This study aimed to develop a practical and effective learning platform that can support students in learning. This study used a 4D development model, and the trial subjects in this study were 31 students of class X in the 2020/2021 academic year. The instruments used were test and questionnaire instruments. The research method used was pre-experimental. The data obtained were analyzed using quantitative descriptive statistical analysis methods. From the research results, it was found that classical completeness reached 90% and the average score in terms of the gain score of students before and after using mobile learning was 0.49. The conclusion of this research is that the results of assessments from both teachers and students show that mobile learning in simulation and digital communication subjects can be categorized as very practical and effective

Many studies have been conducted on the application of Edmodo in the classroom. However research on Edmodo as a scaffolding technique in teaching English for a vocational school has been rarely found. This research aims at investigating the implementation of Edmodo as a scaffolding technique in teaching writing in English as a Foreign language. The purpose is to investigate whether there is a significant difference on the writing competencies of the students before and after using Edmodo. The study employed pretest and posttest design. The sample was 39 students of the tenth grade of SMK Masudirini in the academic year of 2019/2020, and all of them were selected as the sample of the study. The data were collected by observing the teachers and students’ activities, interviewing, and using pretest and posttest. The results of the test were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Quantitative data were analyzed using t-test.   The result indicated that the students can learn using Edmodo as a scaffolding technique in creating narrative texts. It was found that there was a significant difference on the writing competencies of the students before and after using Edmodo. This implied that Edmodo has been successfully used as scaffolding technique in teaching narrative text in English. It can be concluded that the application of Edmodo is not only effective for teaching writing in English through online learning platform but also promote the 21st century learning in vocational high school in Bali.

This article discusses the elements of language and language skills, specifically the elements of mufradat and qowā’id as well as the skill in writing Arabic (al-maharah al-kitabah). The present study aims to prove the theory of the importance of language element in language skill, i.e. the correlational relationship of the mastery of mufradat and qowā’id with the ability to write in Arabic of grade X students of MAN 1 Sleman Yogyakarta majoring in Religion in the academic year of 2016/2017. This is a quantitative descriptive study that uses the said students as the subjects. There are 27 students involved in this study who show that: 1) The average score of mufradat mastery of the students is 75.74. This score is including in the category of average. 2) The average score of qowā’id ability of the students is 42.74 which is including in the category of average. 3) The average score of the kitabah ability of the students is 64.81 which is including in the average category. 4) The result of r calculation referring to the Correlation Coefficient (R) regression formula shows the value of 0.800. The value significance obtained is (0.000). Thus, it could be interpreted that between the mastery of mufradat and qowā’id simultaneously with the ability to write Arabic of the students shows a positive and significant correlational relationship. Abstrak Artikel ini membahas tentang unsur bahasa dan keterampilan berbahasa, lebih tepatnya unsur mufrādat dan qawā’id serta keterampilan menulis Arab (al-Mahārah al-Kitābah). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan teori yang mengatakan pentingnya unsur bahasa dalam keterampilan berbahasa, yakni tentang hubungan korelasional penguasaan Mufrādat dan qawā’id dengan kemampuan menulis Arab siswa kelas X Agama MAN 1 Sleman Yogyakarta pada tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan bersifat kuantitatif deskriptif dengan menjadikan siswa kelas X IIK MAN 1 Sleman Yogyakarta sebagai subyek sekaligus sampel penelitian dengan jumlah sebanyak 27 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Nilai rata-rata penguasaan Mufrādat siswa sebesar 75,74. Nilai tersebut termasuk dalam kategori sedang atau cukup. 2) Nilai rata-rata kemampuan Qawā’id siswa sebesar 42,74, termasuk dalam kategori sedang atau cukup. 3) Nilai rata-rata kemampuan Kitabah siswa sebesar 64,81. Nilai tersebut termasuk dalam kategori sedang atau cukup. 4) Hasil perhitungan r mengacu pada nilai koefisien korelasi (R) rumus regresi menunjukan nilai yang diperoleh sebesar 0,800. Kemudian nilai signifikansi diperoleh sebesar (0,000). Maka dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa antara penguasaan Mufrādat dan qowā’id secara bersamaan dengan kemampuan menulis bahasa Arab siswa kelas X IIK MAN 1 Sleman Yogyakarta terdapat hubungan korelasional yang positif dan signifikan. The development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) offers many solutions for the teacher to use an effective learning platform to improve students’ writing skills. Schoology is a learning application that can be used by teachers and students to teach and to learn writing. This paper aims to explain the use of Schoology in teaching writing and its benefits for students’ writing skills. Literature study was used as the method of this study in collecting the data. The study found that: 1). Students who were taught by using Schoology had better writing skill than those who were not. 2). Schoology was found effective media for teaching writing due to its easiness and friendly display. The findings are expected to be an alternative learning media used by both teachers and students in supporting the teaching and learning process in writing.

The study explores the impacts of fear emotions on technology adoption by teachers and students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Mobile learning (ML) has been considered an educational, social platform in private and public higher education institutes. Since several fears are connected with COVID-19, this study's key hypotheses are related to how COVID-19 influences Mobile Learning (ML) adoption. Educators, teachers, and students may face some common types of fear in the course of the coronavirus pandemic, such as fear of losing social relationships, fear of educational loss and failure, and fear because of the lockdown of the family in the prevailing circumstances. Different theoretical models, named Expectation-Confirmation Model (ECM) and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), are combined to develop an integrated model for this study. The proposed model was analyzed with the development of a questionnaire survey. The survey served as a data collection instrument to collect data from students of the University of Sharjah in Sharjah city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Three hundred twenty undergraduate students participated in the study. The collected data was evaluated using the partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The significant predictors revealed by experimental results included perceived fear, perceived ease of use, expectation confirmation, satisfaction, and perceived usefulness, explaining the intention to use the mobile learning platform. According to our study, teaching and learning can be benefitted to a great extent by the adoption of mobile learning (ML) during this pandemic for educational purposes; however, this process may be negatively affected by the fear of future educational results, fear of losing social relations and fear of stressful family situations. Therefore, appropriate student evaluation may be conducted to overcome the emotional distress caused by the pandemic effectively.

This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The subjects of this study were 28 students of class VIII Al Bisyri Islamic Middle School. Data obtained by observation, questionnaire, and written test. ADDIE development model (Analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). Data collection instruments used in the form of learning media questionnaires, student response questionnaires, rational test results. From the results of the research process obtained the value of media experts with an average score of 87.08 (good category), while the mathematics teacher material experts obtained an average score of 88.57 (very good category) so that the media included in the valid category. From the results of the practicality of Powtoon animation video learning media obtained an average score of 84.96 (practical categories), so that it meets the practical aspects in terms of effective, interactive, interesting, efficient, and creative. Whereas based on the posttest value which is higher than the pretest value, the posttest value is 81.50 higher than the pretest value of 67.57 that the effective learning media is used. Based on this analysis it can be concluded that the video animation media using Powtoon software has fulfilled valid, practical and effective criteria.

This study aims to analyze (1) the average mathematical problem solving ability of students who can achieve the KKM, (2) the proportion of students who can complete classical completeness of 75%, (3) differences in students' mathematical problem solving abilities before and after the REACT model assisted by fable-math book media is applied, (4) increasing mathematical problem solving abilities. The research method used is quantitative research with a pre-experimental design trial design in the form of one group pretest posttest. Sampling was done by means of purposive sample. The sample in this study were IV grade students in academic year 2019/2020. Collecting data using interview techniques, documentation, and tests. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using statistical analysis in the form of one sample t-test, z-proportion test, paired sample t-test, and n-gain test. After applying the REACT model assisted by the fable-math book media the results of the study showed that the average score of the student's problem-solving ability test got more than 70, the proportion of students who completed the test could achieve classical completeness above 75%, there were significant differences in the pretest and posttest results, and there is an increase in students' mathematical problem solving abilities with the medium category.

Abstract BackgroundBasic knowledge on first aid is required to every citizen. School children are best target group for giving such training. School teachers have duel responsibility on this regard. They should have adequate knowledge on first aid so that they can provide when necessary and to train students. This study was conducted to assess the knowledge of school teachers and students and effect of first aid training. MethodsThis study was conducted in school teachers and high school students of 6 schools in Kathmandu. Two days training on first aid was given to all participants. Knowledge on first aid was assessed through self administered 10 questionnaires before and after training. Response was recorded as ‘correct’ or ‘incorrect’ of individual question and total score obtained by individual. Responses were compared before and after training and between students and teachers also. ResultsA total of 152 participants (121 students and 31 teachers) were included in the study. Average score in pretest and posttest was 5.1 ±1.56 and 8.01 ±1.49 respectively with P value 0.001. Majority were aware of meaning of first aid, time to perform CPR, and first aid knowledge on fracture and electric shock. First aid knowledge on other incidents was not satisfactory. The training improved overall knowledge of participants. There was no difference of knowledge in students and teachers. ConclusionFirst aid knowledge of school teachers and students was similar and not satisfactory. Training improves knowledge significantly.

This research is a classroom action research which aims to (1) to increase student activity of class IX.3 SMP Negeri 2 Singarajain even semester of academic year 2017/2018 through implementation of reward-assisted project based learning, and (2) to increase the activity of students of class IX.3 SMP Negeri 2 Singarajain even semester of academic year 2017/2018 in producing graphic arts trough the implementation of Reward-assisted Project Based Learning. The research subjects of this action are the students of class IX.3 SMP Negeri 2 Singarajaat Academic Year 2017/2018 with total number of 36 students. This Class Action Research Design (PTK) follows the model of Stephen Kemmis conducted in two cycles. Each cycle is held in three or two meetings with each meeting 2 X 40 minutes and 1 X 40 minutes. This research data was collected by observation sheet and project test. The collected data were analyzed descriptively qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The result of the research shows that (1) the Implementation of Reward-assisted Project Based Learning can increase the students 'activity in graphic arts learning. Before the action, the students' activity is quite active, the cycle I is still quite active (52%) and in cycle II is more active (89%), (2) the Implementation of Reward-assisted Project Based Learning can improve the achievement of graphic art work. Before the average score cycle is 69.00 (36% completeness). After the action in the first cycle achievement works graphic arts students average score of 75.36 (mastery 53%), while in the second cycle average score of 84.58 (92% completeness). <p><em>This study aims to determine: (1) the implementation of assessments by teachers of students during the Covid-19 era PJOK learning at MTs Negeri 1 Boyolali in the 2020/2021 school year; (2) constraints faced by teachers in learning PJOK in the Covid-19 Era at MTs Negeri 1 Boyolali in the 2020/2021 school year; (3) the level of student interest in learning in the Covid-19 era PJOK at MTs Negeri 1 Boyolali in the 2020/2021 school year; (4) the obstacles faced by students in learning PJOK in the Covid-19 Era at MTs Negeri 1 Boyolali in the 2020/2021 school year. This research uses qualitative research methods with survey techniques. The research samples were teachers and students of MTs Negeri 1 Boyolali who were domiciled. The subjects of this study included 5 PJOK teachers and 105 students out of 1041 people based on the Stratified Random Sampling. Data collection techniques with questionnaire techniques (questionnaire). The results of this study are as follows: (1) The implementation of an assessment by the teacher of students during the Covid-19 era PJOK learning at MTs Negeri 1 Boyolali, which is carried out well in terms of attitudes, aspects of skills and aspects of knowledge because the teacher has a strategy in implementing the assessment at each aspect as well as the teacher's awareness that these three aspects are equally important in learning PJOK; (2) The constraints faced by the teacher in learning PJOK in the Covid-19 Era at MTs Negeri 1 Boyolali, in the learning preparation stage in the form of difficulties in making various materials and planning learning equipment, for the learning process stage the teacher experienced dissatisfaction and discomfort in delivering learning PJOK online, teachers find it difficult to monitor and provide direction for each participant; (3) The level of interest in students' learning towards Covid-19 Covid-19 PJOK Learning at MTs Negeri 1 Boyolali, from the indicators of happy feelings driven by sincerity and enthusiasm when participating in learning, from indicators of interest driven by the desire to achieve achievement in learning outcomes, awareness of the importance of health, hobbies , and can increase self-confidence, and for indicators of student involvement attentively and material can be accessed before and after learning; (4) The constraints faced by students in learning PJOK in the Covid-19 Era at MTs Negeri 1 Boyolali, in the learning opening process is the difficulty of finding learning resources, when the core process of students is less interacting with teachers and friends, and when learning closes participants students cannot overcome difficulties even though the teacher has provided solutions.</em></p>

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study (1) In order to implement the results of the E-Module Project Based Learning Model in Server Administration Basics Class XI Computer Engineering and Networks in SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja. (2) To study the response of teachers and students towards the development of E-Module Project Based Learning Model in Server Administration Basics Class XI Computer Engineering and Networks in SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja developed.The type of the research used in this study was Research and Development using ADDIE development model. The subjects of the study were the eleven grade students of Computer Engineering and Networks at SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja in academic year 2017/2018. In order to identify the teachers’ and students’ respond toward the e module of Network Design, questionnaire was used to obtain the data. The results obtained shown that (1) the results of the E-Module  Project Based Learning Model in Server Administration Basics Class XI Computer Engineering and Networks in SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja otherwise successfully applied by some of the tests conducted. (2) The results of the analysis show that the teacher response data, obtained an average score of response was 43 when converted into the classification table, the response included in the category of positive. As for the students' response to the development of e-modules obtained an average score of 60.78 response, if converted into a table classifying student responses included in the category of positive.    Keywords: E-Module, ADDIE, Server Administration, Project Based Learning
