Environmental education aims to attract people's interest in paying attention toenvironmental functions, how to manage the environment and protect the environment.Developing knowledge about the importance of the environment is the first step in the formationof an environmentally friendly society. Through knowledge and awareness, positive values andattitudes will emerge to make lifestyle adjustments that will reduce the burden on the environment(Ramadhan et al 2019). Sukma & Azrianti (2020) said that character education is very importantto be instilled since students are still in elementary school. The diversity of characters and habitsof students at school who come from different family backgrounds is very influential and can evencause bad things in the character of the child. Several cases state that students' attitudes areinfluenced by the surrounding environment or family environment, in addition, the finding of somestudents who often experience confusion in translating their local language into Indonesian is aform that the environment greatly affects Indonesian language learning (Ikhlasani & Ramadhan2021). Therefore, it is important to develop knowledge about the environment, environmentalawareness and behavior change towards the environment (Ramadhan et al, 2019).

From an ethical perspective, three values are at stake in the prevention of suicide—the inviolability of life, the autonomy of the client, and the care relationship between caregivers and client. These values can be integrated in the following way. The best prevention consists of a good care relationship involving intensive counseling of the client regarding existential questions. In this way, caregivers can increase the client’s autonomy and responsibility. Sometimes, however, caregivers need to intervene with protective measures to safeguard the inviolability of the client’s life. Caregivers strive for a reasonable balance between autonomy and inviolability by means of the integrating value of the relationship.

In this paper we are interested in the connections between Philosophy for Children and character education. In sketching these connections we suggest some areas where the relationship is potentially fruitful, particularly in light of research which suggests that in practice schools and teachers often adopt and mix different approaches to values education. We outline some implications of drawing connections between the two fields for moral education. The arguments made in this article are done so in the hope of encouraging further critical reflection on the potential relationship between Philosophy for Children and character education.

An extensive meta-analysis, including 52 studies, was undertaken on the relationship between character education and student achievement and behavioral outcomes. Additional analyses were done to determine whether the effects of character education differed by student grade level, locale, race, and so on. The results indicated that character education is associated with higher levels of educational outcomes, no matter what type of standardized or nonstandardized measure was employed. Character education was also related to higher levels of expressions of love, integrity, compassion, and self-discipline. Overall, character education had somewhat greater effects for children in high school rather than those who were in elementary school. The effects of character education did not differ by the race of the children. The significance of these results is discussed.

Purpose – The aim of this paper is to advance a conceptual understanding of the role of social enterprises in health care by developing the concept of ethical capital. Social enterprises have been an important part of both the coalition and the previous government’s vision for improving health-care delivery. One of the central arguments for increasing the role of social enterprises in health care is they can provide the benefits of a public service ethos with the efficiencies and innovatory strategies of a business. Social enterprises are well placed to promote the type of values that should underpin health care delivery. Design/methodology/approach – This paper explores the conceptual issues raised by using social enterprises to provide health-care services that were previously provided by the National Health Service (NHS) from an ethical perspective. Findings – It will be argued that conceptualising social enterprises as organisations that can and should produce ethical capital could be a useful way of developing the debate over social enterprises in health care. Practical implications – The paper provides suggestions on how ethical capital might be produced and monitored in social enterprises. Originality/value – This paper advances the debate over the use of the concept of ethical capital in social enterprises and explores the relationship between ethical and social capital – both under researched areas. It also contributes to the emerging discussions of social enterprises in current health policy and their role in the radically reformed English NHS.

The character education program launched by the Government has not reaped encouraging results, as evidenced by the worsening moral decline that occurs in the midst of the nation's children, such as corruption, drug abuse, LGBT lifestyle, free sex association, fighting between students, students and villagers, intolerance among religious people, separatism that threatens the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia, and so forth. The concept of education in imam al-Tirmiżî's al-Jâmi' al-Ṣaḥîḥ explains in detail the basic potential of man (heart, reason, taste, initiative and body), and explains the relationship between an individual and religious principles, with oneself and with his environment. The concept is very relevant to the purpose of national education, which is noble and morally praiseworthy to be able to improve the quality of individuals, families and communities to build a just and civilized national and state order, to further achieve the ideals of social justice for all Indonesians.
